She's Come Undone

This is the second to last chapter, I feel like a menace cause I've been sitting on these for months since I was already working on the next story.

.

The next few days were weird, I tried calling both Elijah and Klaus but didn't hear from either of them. You'd think they'd be more concerned that Silas had the cure and answer their witches calls.

I drove over to Rebekah's house I was starting to get concerned. Thankfully she opened her front door and let me in.

"What is going on? You tell me Silas has the cure and then all three of you go radio silent?" I asked, she rolled her eyes and sat down on the couch.

"My brothers are gone Alicia, fled to New Orleans on some silly little thing Katherine sent them to do." She explained, my eyes nearly popped out of my head. New Orleans…. The place I'd made such a mess at I shouldn't go back to? My first thought was Marcel. He didn't want them to know he was alive and now they were in his city.

"What the hell is in New Orleans?"

"You remember Hayley? Apparently Klaus knocked her up. I'm going to be an auntie." She replied with zero enthusiasm in her voice. I stared at her trying to process what she was telling me.

"But he's dead. Dead means his balls should be empty."

"Classy as always Alicia, some sort of supernatural loophole since he's a hybrid I presume. Or she's lying." Rebekah said with a shrug.

"My money is on lying, bitch orchestrated 12 hybrids being killed. Why do you look like you're leaving?" I asked scratching my head. If Rebekah was also going to New Orleans than I was really going to be ass out of luck here with the others. With her it wasn't a matter of if she'd go it was more of when would she, the siblings didn't stay away from each other long.

I could go around Rebekah to escape the guilt I felt being around Caroline or Damon. Without Rebekah I had to sit here and just continue to lie to these people about what I'd took part in.

"I'm going to meet up with Matt." She answered with a small smile. I sighed in relief I'd kinda jumped the gun and expected she was leaving today." I don't intend on being caught up in my brothers mess."

I felt conflicted if I stayed here, I'd be around when Kol came back to life. However how many people would I have to kill to make sure I was able to see him again?

But if I left, I had to either be prepared to fight or sneak and consult with Marcel and go straight into hiding like Davina. Neither sounded appealing to me right now.

I wasn't scared of either situation. I just wasn't prepared to deal with either on such short notice. I pulled out my phone and called Bonnie, she surprisingly didn't answer. I groaned if my call went to voicemail one more time I'm going to set something on fire.

Why the hell was everybody so busy like Silas wasn't extremely close to completing his mission. I wasn't sure what else he was missing, he had the cure & he just needed either Bonnie or me to cast the spell. I guess convincing one of us to do the spell was the hard part? I'd flip flopped on dropping the veil so many times that I wasn't even sure where I stood on the topic anymore.

I called Bonnie again as I was heading out the door and thankfully this time she answered. If she sent me to voicemail again I was gonna go home and do a locator spell on her ass.

"Alicia! Just the person I was thinking of." She answered, I raised an eyebrow what could Bonnie be doing that would even make her answer the phone that way.

"What's up?"

"Well I'm meeting with Katherine would you mind meeting me here? She should be there in like 20 mins." Bonnie explained, I raised an eyebrow that was a duo you'd never expect to see together.

"Send me the address, I'm getting in my car now." I replied wordless Bonnie hung up and seconds later the address sent to my phone. She was out of Mystic Falls which made sense she didn't want to risk anybody else seeing her. It would take me at least 30 minutes to get there so I had to be quick.

When I got to the restaurant the first thing I spotted was the back of Bonnie's head with Katherine facing my direction. She glanced up and smirked at me. I made my way over to the two and took a seat in between them.

"Great! Now that baby sister is here we can start talking, now you said you had an offer that I couldn't refuse. By all means what do you have in mind?" Katherine purred. It felt weird looking at her, she'd had Elena's entire face but none of the mannerisms. I felt like I was staring at a ghost who was also a stranger. Looking at Katherine right now was a hard reminder of what I'd done.

"Hand over the tombstone." Bonnie started I whipped my head back and forth between the two. The object that Kol & I had graveyard stolen first got stolen again? And nobody said anything about it?

"When did you lose it?" I asked incredulously. The answer was obvious but like I needed to hear it from her.

"What makes you think I even have it?" Katherine asked. I raised an eyebrow the only logical explanation would be Katherine taking it. Shit if it wasn't her then I was the other suspect and I knew I didn't have it.

"Back on the island." Bonnie answered me, it was the answer I'd expected. Then I remembered Professor Shane used it as a bargaining chip for the Island Witch." You're a scavenger. You'd never leave it behind."

"So you both work for Silas now? Running errands for the big bad immortal." Katherine teased, I scoffed. Bonnie was in better place mentally and I highly doubted she was on the man's side.

"Yeah no, I'm nobody's lackey." I retorted, Katherine gave me a catlike grin." Bonnie most likely has a plan."

"Oh?" Katherine turned from me to Bonnie waiting for her to elaborate.

"In two days, there will be a full moon. Silas wants us to harness the power and use it to drop the veil between our side and the other side." She explained, my head whipped to her. How the hell was it us when I hadn't spoken to Silas since before he'd gotten the cure. "He wants to take the cure and he wants to die. I agreed to us helping and have been hiding ever since, buying time."

"THE HELL DO YOU MEAN AGREED TO US?" I yelled causing a few people to turn in our direction, after a nasty glare from myself they went back to minding their own business.

"Time for what?" Katherine asked once she finished giggling at my outburst. I was legit angry because why would she just sign us both up for that? Sure I was definitely 1000% on board when I helped kill those witches but like I changed since then.

"Yes Bonnie time for what? Especially since I've been not in hiding."

"You don't worry about it, and I'll fill you in later. Just bring the headstone Katherine." She answered both of us. I was definitely curious what Bonnie was buying us time for.

"It's a hunk of rock what do you even want with it?"

Being an ignorant vampire really had it perks, they couldn't feel the magic the stone gave off. For them to be the alleged superior race, it almost never showed. I'm supposed to be scared of somebody who can't have sunlight touch them. Pathetic.

"The less you know, the better. Silas is psychic. He can get into people's heads and read their mind." Bonnie elaborated, I was mildly curious if Bonnie's psychic abilities can grow that strong. "He can make people see things that aren't there, I'm taking a big risk talking to you."

"Ok. Then how do I know that one of you isn't him?" Katherine asked and it was a very valid question. I'd been fortunate to only see Silas take the form of Shane and recently Stefan. He could be Bonnie or Katherine right now and I had no way of knowing it.

"I guess you just have to trust us." I answered before Bonnie could Katherine made another face.

"So how do you know I'm not him?" She asked, I couldn't answer that one because I had no way of knowing myself.

"Because he can't get into my head anymore, I am the only one who can see his true face." She replied, I shot her look curious when and why he would do that.

"So what's in it for me?" Katherine asked again, I imagine Bonnie was bartering some sort of spell. She couldn't negotiate Katherine's freedom, she wasn't close enough to Klaus for that. Elijah couldn't even successfully get that for her.

"Bring the tombstone. Help me stop Silas from unleashing all hell on earth. It'll be worth your while." Bonnie replied.

"I'm sure you have a lot of dead enemies you don't want to see them again." I added just to really incentivize her handing over the stone. Whatever Bonnie was offering was a bonus but Katherine's list of enemies had to be a list that rivaled a Mikealson's.

Katherine didn't say anything else she just got up and left, hopefully she was going to retrieve the stone for us.

"What do we do now?" I asked Bonnie's eyes followed the brunette before looking into my green eyes."Bonnie you need to catch me up."

"Has Silas contacted you?"

"Not since he got the cure, he apparently used my face to get that by the way." I answered scoffing, when Elijah was able to get back to his phone I'd like to ask why he gave the cure to who he thought was me in the first place and not his sister.

"I've been staying at a hotel the past few days. It's probably best if you don't go back to town." Bonnie answered, I gulped after taking a sip of my drink."He only needs one of us and since he can't find me, he'll come for you."

"Can I ask why you didn't grab me when you left town?"

"You were at Gramm's house and you never left, that was actually a safe place for you to be at the moment. He never came there did he?"

"No but still." I scoffed crossing my arms, I noticed Bonnie check her phone and quickly ignore it." They need you?"

"It's just Caroline, she'll be fine." Bonnie brushed it off, I raised an eyebrow. I'm sure us both avoiding everybody wasn't suspicious at all." Are you ready to head out?"

I nodded and put some money down on the table, I felt like Katherine either paid already or she compelled that meal to be free but I still wanted to leave something. Bonnie got in her car and I followed her back to a tiny out of the way motel. I'm pretty sure the place was used for prostitution and I would rather not touch anything but hey that was just me.

"So now what?" I closed and locked the door behind Bonnie. She kicked her shoes off and sat down on the bed, a grimoire sat in front of her already opened.

"We wait." Bonnie replied without another word she started looking at the spell, I walked up and peaked over her shoulder curious exactly what she was looking at. It was a simple binding spell. I wasn't too sure what she could do with that.

My phone rang interrupting the silence, it was Caroline so I answered.

"Thank god one of you answered!" The blonde cried, Bonnie & I gave each other a look before I put the phone on speaker."Silas threatened my mom."

"I'm on my way." Bonnie replied bolting to her feet, I started to follow her but she stopped me."Stay here, I will be back."

"What? Bonnie."

"He won't hurt me and he doesn't want to hurt you, but if we're both in the same place one of us may become collateral." She explained, without another word Bonnie was out the door. I plopped down on the bed and sighed I ran my fingers across the page Bonnie was looking at again, it had to be much more to it than a binding spell.

Maybe this was a redharring to throw me off, she hadn't even gotten the chance to fill me in on her plan yet. My phone lit up again this time to my surprise it was an unsaved number, unsaved numbers usually meant some sort of fun.

"This is Alicia." I answered, I peaked out the window as Bonnie climbed into her car and drove off.

"Out of the two of you, I always preferred you. Your sister is such a tight ass." Katherine replied, I snorted at the sheer insanity of that being the first thing you say when you call somebody's phone.

"What do you want ?" I asked, holding back a laugh

"Come back to the restaurant, I want to talk to you alone." She replied, I stood up glad I didn't need to stay in this place and bolted out the door.

"I'll be there in 10."

The two of us hung up, I was back in my car and driving back to the restaurant in under 10 seconds. This motel was absolutely disgusting why Bonnie booked this instead of somewhere nice is beyond me.

It wasn't hard at all to spot Katherine, she was seated at the exact same spot we'd previously met up at. She dramatically dropped her fork and grinned at me as I slipped into the seat across from her.

"You really came alone." Katherine looked shocked."You're either really dumb or really brave."

"Let's call it both." I shrugged."Now what did you want that you didn't want to talk about in front of Bonnie?"

"I know that tombstone is much more than a piece of junk." She answered, I stared at her for a second. That was fairly obvious why else would Bonnie be asking for it." And it got me thinking, all big spells require a source of power. A recurring element like a full moon, a comet. But that stone is filled with the blood of your ancient relative Katsooyay or whatever."

"Quetsiyah." I corrected with a snort, she clearly didn't try and didn't actually care.

"My point is she was powerful enough to create the other side. So maybe if you have her blood you two don't need to wait for a full moon to drop the veil. You can do it whenever you want. I know why you want to do it but your goody goody sister? That confuses me."

I honestly stopped listening once she said the veil could be dropped whenever we wanted because the stone was filled with Quetsiyah's blood. Why did I not realize that ? Why did a Vampire just school me on witchcraft unintentionally.

"Oh my god." Katherine chuckled snapping me out of my thoughts."For you to be the sister with actual skill and not luck, you didn't know that."

"New Orleans witches weren't too keen to teach me too much especially in the short time I was there." I shrugged trying to come off aloof but my face had to be bright red." Unfortunately Katherine whatever deal Bonnie was going to give you is between you two, she rushed off to Caroline before she could fill me in."

"I don't trust her but you." Katherine paused as if she was silently giving me some sort of approval."I trust a tiny bit more."

"Wow, aren't I special."

"Don't get a big head, it's ugly." Katherine retorted.

"Tell me about Hayley." I said, Katherine looked confused for a second before it clicked."A magical miracle baby is big news."

"Nothing to really tell, she's carrying Klaus' baby. This would've all been avoided if they let her die." Katherine groaned. And honestly, it's not like Hayley didn't deserve it. Why did she get to live when the pack who trusted her didn't? Tyler's life is ruined, and Tiana was just fortunate that Klaus respected me enough. If she wasn't assigned to watch me, I wouldn't have bonded with her and she would definitely have ended up dead since I wouldn't have gotten her outta town.

"You think it's legit?"

"You're asking me? You're the witch you know Nature has a loophole for everything. If it's real then that baby is very important."

"And if she's lying?" I asked.

"Then she better run before anybody notices."

If Hayley was telling the truth then this baby would be half vampire & half werewolf. Or some other ratio of that. But then Klaus also carried the witch gene from Ester. It almost entirely skipped their generation with Kol being the only one to have any magic.

The possibility of the baby being a tri-brid and not a hybrid was pretty decent. The last place Hayley needed to be with that baby was New Orleans.

"I'll find out what Bonnie's offering you and if she doesn't hold up her end of the deal. I will." I said, I didn't really like Katherine but she proved herself very useful to both Bonnie & I. If she hadn't swiped the stone we wouldn't have gotten it back.

She'd mostly given me her opinion but it was a valid and very solid thought.

"Great, should I leave this with you or give it to her?" She motioned toward the rock as if this was normal casual conversation.

"You mind putting it in my trunk? That shits heavy." I said, Katherine chuckled and hoisted the rock up with ease. This was the moment I realized the entire restaurant must be compelled because nobody batted an eye at this petite teenage girl lugging around a giant rock.

The two of us walked out to the car in silence, I had to be the biggest flip flopper because now that I was in possession of the stone, my brain wanted me to drop the veil.

I could be reunited with Kol today.

And not just him Gramms.

But rational thinking knew of everything bad that could come with it. Katherine dropped the tombstone into my trunk gave me one last look before heading off.

I stared at it for a moment hoping the stupid rock would give me insight on what I should do with it. When it naturally didn't speak to me, I quickly cloaked it and slammed the trunk shut. I jumped back into my car and just started driving. I wasn't sure where I was going or why.

My phone rang suddenly pulling me out of my thoughts. I couldn't not smile at the name dancing across my caller ID.

"Davina!" I answered, I'm sure with Klaus & Elijah running around New Orleans she was far from bored. I'd been slacking on my communication with her so I wasn't too sure how she'd been doing.

"Oh so you didn't bump your head and forget me." She replied. I scoffed."When are you coming back? Your friends are ruining everything."

"Define everything?"

"Marcel has been on edge since they got here, he wants to move me somewhere else." She explained. Davina was stubborn keeping her far away from New Orleans is the best thing for her especially with her persistent these damn witches were.

Klaus craved power and knowing how strong Davina is he'd want to use that for himself. Yes he had me, but Davina & I together would ensure nobody went against him.

"Klaus can be aggressive he's just trying to keep you safe." I explained."If you want I can talk to him by now he has to know of my involvement with everything if he's ruining your life."

"I don't think that'll help much." She replied.

"Why do you say that?"

"Well my brother did stick a dagger in me and barter me over to Marcellus." Elijah's voice filled my ear, I almost lost control of the car. I managed to get it together and swerve back straight at the last second.

"Elijah? Rebekah is worried sick about you. I think she's heading your way soon."

"No need, I am okay. I've been getting to know your friend Davina. I didn't know how much you got into while I was away Alicia." Elijah said, I could almost hear it in his voice he was chastising me.

"How was I supposed to know I'd end up New Orleans most wanted. I'm there as soon as school ends." I replied. And then I realized I may be just as stubborn as Davina. I'd left the place twice and still was willing to come back. I had the full knowledge I needed to be sacrificed and I still fully intended on coming back to be by Davina's side.

"As much as I disagree with you coming here, the safest place for you is with us." Elijah replied." Somebody's coming I have to go."

I heard Marcel's voice faintly before the call ended, I frowned and stopped the car. I had driven back to the hotel and managed to beat Bonnie back. I don't know if I was feeling rather bold or dumb but I gave Sabine a call as I flopped back onto the bed.

"Alicia? You're calling me?" She sounded more shocked than confused."What do you want?"

"This is gonna sound crazy especially since you wanna kill me right now but would you be so kind as to give me whatever spell you guys used on me to put me to sleep?" I asked casually. Should she help me? Absofuckinglutely. But would she help me out? Probably not.

"Sleep? Honey you were in Limbo, you don't want to fuck around with that." She answered straight up."I was against the spell it was too risky but Agnes."

"Risky how? Did I almost die?" I asked I was honestly a bit angry at the fact they didn't fuck up and kill me. I could've stayed with Kol forever.

"You're heart rate has to drastically slow for it to work. You should still be in a comatose state. You Bennett's are stronger than I thought."

"Uh girl? You know my history."

"I'm not giving you that spell, I need you to die in the French Quarter. You killing yourself to see your dead boyfriend isn't beneficial to anyone." Sabine replied, I scoffed annoyed that to the next person it might've sounded like she cared when realistically I just can't die here.

"I truly hate you."

"Honey join the club." Sabine hung up. I rolled my eyes and picked up Bonnie's grimoire and started looking for a spell that could catch my eye. I knew the Witches wouldn't let me summon Kol, he'd died too soon and it clearly would not help with my grieving.

My mind went back to dropping the veil, what the fuck was the spell that went with that? Were we supposed to free style it? The thing was just a rock and had zero instructions. Do I just plop it in the middle of the triangle and it would do everything else itself?

I hated that Bonnie left out such important details. The door opened and in walked Bonnie. She looked relieved to see me sitting on the bed.

"You didn't leave?"

"No." I swiftly lied, I made sure not to look up at her." So Bonnie how exactly are we supposed to drop the veil?"

"Oh liar." Bonnie shook her head."Your car is in a different spot."

"The veil Bonnie."

"Oh you can't actually lower it by yourself. Atleast not right now." She explained, I raised an eyebrow what other requirement was I missing. "Expression, you don't use it."

It made sense of course an expression Triangle needed somebody using expression to utilize it. Kol told me not to mess with that so I couldn't.

"So what would Silas do without you since I don't use it?"

"Alicia you are leverage, your head is on too straight and Silas can't use that. The best he could do with you is kill yoi to force me to do the spell."

Well shit.

I stared at Bonnie slack jawed, I didn't feel special. I felt like I was just very lucky. Or maybe Silas wasn't super smart.

We ended up putting on a movie and the two of us fell asleep.

The next morning Bonnie woke me up, she was fully dressed and holding out a change of clothes for me. Groggily I headed into the bathroom and got ready.

When I came out she was holding my keys and tapping her foot."You have the tombstone just sitting in your trunk?"

"What! It was heavy." I hissed as she slapped me in the back of the head. I rolled my eyes as the two of us left the motel and climbed into my car." You ain't have to hit me."

"Yes I did." She replied starting up the car."We're meeting up with Katherine to see if I can get Quetsiyah to tell me how to take care of Silas."

"Good luck. I tried that once and she ignored my ass." I said, Bonnie shook her head and started driving. I clicked on the radio and started looking through my phone. I had the nastiest habit of looking at it old pictures. Having pictures of people no longer with you was both a blessing and a curse. It was nice to be able to see their faces again whenever you wanted but it was a different type of hurt knowing that's all you'll get.

"Hey Lee." Bonnie tapped me gently, I snapped my eyes up from my phone." We're here come on." The two of us climbed out the car. Bonnie went straight to the trunk." I promised Katherine I'd get the immortality spell from Quetsiyah from her. And she just handed this over to you?"

"Yup. She really trusts your word." I swiftly lied, Bonnie stared at me for a moment and shrugged. She knew I was lying and it's funny because she knows she's lying to Katherine.

"Come on." She motioned with her head for me to follow her. I had an idea of where we were going already. We walked for what felt like forever before coming to a stop Katherine was already waiting for us leaned up against a tree.

"Could you two be anymore creepy? Why are we here?" She was clearly distraught and disgusted to be trekking though the woods randomly. I don't even blame her.

"You want me to truly make you an immortal so that nothing can kill you. To do that I'll have to talk to Quetsiyah." Bonnie explained, I raised an eyebrow." Which means I'll have to lower the veil."

"What? Right now?" I asked baffled was that the smartest thing to do?

"That doesn't explain why you made me trudge through mud in $500 boots." Katherine hissed, I let out an ugly snort because she knows she compelled herself those boots.

"A few miles that way 12 hybrids were killed at the Lockwood Cellar." Bonnie pointed one way. My lip twitched remembering that day. Tyler & myself could've died while his mother did along with 12 innocent people." 12 humans died that way at the Young farm." She pointed again.

I kinda shrugged at this one because fuck the council. Caroline's & Tyler's moms had gotten kicked out at the literally perfect time.

"Oh shit." I mumbled, I'd thought Bonnie led us to the middle of the triangle she'd brought us back to the spot where the three of us decided to fight 12 witches.

"And this is where 12 witches died."

"Fuck them cunts." I added, Katherine smirked trying to hide the fact she wanted to laugh.

"This is the expression triangle." Bonnie explained." I need to charge all three points and channel the mystical energy into Silas' Tombstone. Once that happens I can drop the veil between the three points."

I frowned realizing somebody was gonna have to go back for the heavy ass rock and then lug it to three different places so we can stick the magic into it.

"So what do you need?" Katherine asked, Bonnie was doing more explaining than necessary. Katherine had proven herself not ignorant back at the restaurant.

"If I can contact Quetsiyah I can ask her how to put Silas down. I need you to get the rock."

"You're gonna flood Mystic Falls with dead supernatural creatures, so you can ask a dead 2,000 year old witch not one but two favors? Yeah I'm out of here."

Katherine started to walk away from us but suddenly couldn't move anymore. I gave Bonnie a look and shook my head. She'd bound that not poor vampire to her.

"What the hell." Katherine said clearly annoyed she turned back and glared at me like I did it.

"The three of us are linked." She said, I whipped my head to her surprised she'd magically handcuffed my ass to her too." Which means we're stuck together for the day. Silas can be anybody. If he gets into either of your heads and realizes I don't need the full moon then it's game over."

"Why am I a prisoner too!" I yelled stomping my foot. I just knew she was about to flex her big sister card.

"He'll kill you to get to me. The best place for you is with me."

I scoffed and checked for a clear spot on the ground, I plopped my butt on the ground closed my eyes and focused. If we were all stuck together I was not walking back to the car to have Katherine grab the stone.

Since it wasn't lost, I would be able to magically move it from the car to here.

Once I finished with the spell I stood up and motioned for Katherine to grab the rock from the ground. She reluctantly did making sure to cradle it like a baby.

Bonnie quickly pulled the magic from the ground and put it into the rock. Without a word we started to walk to the next point.

If Bonnie was able to talk to Quetsiyah for a moment, then I'd be able to get a quick moment with Gramm's or Kol. I needed one of the two to tell me to move on and I would. I needed to hear from somebody older and wiser that this isn't good for me.

Before I knew it we were at the Lockwood Cellar, I cringed thinking of all the things that transpired down there that night.

"Ugh that old Cellar reeks of wet dog. I'll be staying up here." Katherine crossed her arms staring at the entrance.

"Yeah, I don't really wanna go down there either." I added, Bonnie rolled her eyes especially since I knew neither of us really had the option.

"Nah." She simply said heading inside, Katherine & I gave each other a look as the magic pulled us both inside after her.

"You realize I'm not some wandering child at the supermarket and I can kill you right?" Katherine asked casually, I started to give her an aneurysm but then I remembered that would actually hurt us more than her.

"Whatever happens to me, happens to you." Bonnie didn't even bother to look back. That expression had her confidence on 10 right now." Do you really think I want you here? The last place I'd want to bring her is here."

"And what is here? 12 dead hybrids right." Katherine rubbed her hands together glancing at me." This should be good."

While Bonnie went to collect the magic Katherine came to stand beside me.

"I'm guessing something happened to you here?" She asked choosing to use trauma to start a conversation was a bold choice.

"I almost died here twice technically." I replied with a shrug. It felt like forever ago when I'd almost killed myself here accidentally to take Tyler's pain away from his first transformation." I was young and in love and used a pain transfer spell on myself."

"That doesn't sound too bad."

"The pain I was transferring was Tyler's first shift." I replied, Katherine clamped her mouth shut." My Gramm's managed to knock me out before I could die, the second time Klaus choked me out thinking I'd had something to do with his Hybrids turning on him."

"So he almost killed you but knocked up the bitch who actually did it. Bold choice." Katherine commented. But she'd known Klaus he'd did what he did to me because he felt betrayed. If he truly wanted me dead I'd be dead.

"I'm going to beat her ass if Klaus doesn't kill her after she births that baby don't even worry about that." I replied shrugging." Why did you not just kill her yourself?"

"Me? She wasn't worth my time." Katherine scoffed crossing her arms, we noticed Bonnie had thankfully finished and the three of us headed back outside." Hayley was and still is the luckiest loose end to ever exist."

We headed to the Young farm next it was the last place we'd need to go and then we'd be finished. My feet were absolutely killing me. The fact Bonnie really made us leave my car instead of just driving around or having Katherine carry us should be a sin.

I'd actually never been to the Young Farm before so seeing it in its charred abandoned state did nothing for me.

"12 humans burned to death here. They died in vain for Silas." Bonnie explained to Katherine. I raised an eyebrow in vain was really a stretch.

"They more of went Kaboom and were definitely bad people." I corrected, Bonnie pinched herself making my arm turn red and sting. Katherine rolled her eyes as it appeared on her arm too but didn't react.

"Don't be childish Bon."

We watched Bonnie link the last spot and I suddenly had the worst feeling in my gut. This felt almost too easy something was going to happen.

"Uh Bonnie are we sure Silas doesn't know where we are?" I asked nervously. My gut had never been wrong before.

"I'm absolutely sure. Come on it's time to drop the veil."

I wanted to scream when Bonnie led us to the underground caves. Not only were Katherine's shoes destroyed but mine were too.

She could've given me the heads up when I got dressed to grab shoes I didn't care about.

"Bonnie I love you to death but you owe me new shoes." I hissed lifting my foot from a somehow random puddle.

"I'll get them I promise." She smiled softly at me. She took a couple more steps with Katherine close by." This is the center of the circle. I'm ready give me the stone."

Katherine passed her the rock." The fact that this spell hinges on some crappy blood rock does little for my confidence."

"Maybe you don't know magic as well as I thought." I commented." Just relax Bonnie's got it. Can I unlink us?"

I still had that bad feeling in my gut but knew unlinking was the best move here. If one of us did die then at least that way we didn't take the other two with us.

"Go ahead, I'll drop the veil." Bonnie replied she touched the rock and closed her eyes. I quickly undid the spell which naturally meant Katherine jetted off.

The rock started leaking blood before the torches along the wall lit up.

"It's done." Bonnie said." The veils down."

I was suddenly spun around into very strong arms that I'd missed more than anything else.

"You're here." I cried burying my face into his chest without wasting a second.

"Of course Little Witch." Kol said, he rested his chin on the top of my head probably having a silent conversation with Bonnie but I didn't really care about that right now. I was just so happy to see him again.

"Alicia." Bonnie called out snapping me out of Kol's grasp. I turned still fully clutching him but giving her my full attention." I'm going to stay here and wait for Quetsiyah, you two can go the veil won't be down for long."

"Are you sure?" I asked I was happy to have Kol back but the thought of leaving Bonnie alone right now didn't sit right with me." I don't want you by yourself."

"She won't be." Jeremy said, Bonnie whipped her head around to face him before running into his arms. It had to be extremely awkward right now. Two sisters with two people who are enemies. Her boyfriend helped kill my boyfriend, my boyfriend's brother killed his sister, Aunt, and technically Uncle. And yet neither of them acknowledged each other.

"Okay." I grabbed Kol by the hand and led him out of the cave. It felt absolutely surreal to be walking with him right now."Where do you want to go?"

"To Bekah. She's at the grill with the football player."

Kol wooshed us off to the Grill. And just like he said Rebekah was sitting at the bar with Matt. When we walked in her face went from happy to weeping tears of joy.

"Oh my god Kol!"

"Greetings from the dead. So who fancies a drink?" Kol replied, Matt wordlessly started pouring up what I could only guess was the strongest drink behind the counter. I thought he was going to pass it to Kol but instead he took a big drink of it.

"Well damn." I snorted.

"I thought I'd never see you again." Rebekah stood up to touch his face. Kol flinched back and caught her hand. Why I thought this would be a happy reunion. I'll never know.

"Spare me the waterworks Sister, I've already watched you grieve. Lasted a full 24 hours? Remember." He retorted, she'd flinched back visibly hurt by what he said, but I agreed all three of his siblings lives just kept on moving.

I pulled out my phone and shot Bonnie a text leaving her didn't sit right with me still. My body was still in high alert my change of scenery didn't do anything for me.

"I'm assuming this means Bonnie dropped the veil." Matt finally said pouring himself another shot. It's kind of funny to me he was hanging out Kol's sister just fine but then the moment Kol walks in he's reduced to drinking.

But then again it might be less about Kol and more about himself. If the veil was down where was Vicki? Unless she'd found peace.

"You know it feels rather nice not having to seek revenge. My killers ended up both joining me on the other side." Kol shot me a look that Rebekah immediately caught onto, she looked confused before relaxing her face so Matt didn't notice something." I can enjoy a drink with my darling sister and lovely girlfriend."

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Rebekah announced before abruptly walking away; I sighed knowing girl code meant even thought she was a vampire I had to go with her.

"We're gonna go trade tampons or whatever." I commented walking off. I heard something faintly of that not making sense followed by Kol laughing. Nobody batted an eye at the Original Vampire going to the bathroom but trading tampons is where it stopped making sense.

"What the bloody hell was that back there?" Rebekah whisper shouted when I caught up to her she pushed open the bathroom door and jumped back before I could even respond.

"What's wrong?"

"It's Caroline." She said holding the door open a bit wider for me to see inside. I paled at the sight of my bestfriend on the floor slicing her wrists over and over again.

"Why are you doing that?" I rushed over to her and grabbed her hand trying to stop her."You can't even kill yourself that way."

"I have to keep cutting." She replied pulling her hand from my grip and going back to slicing into her flesh.

"Rebekah help." I turned to the blond, she got down on her knees and stared at Caroline. She looked as if she wasn't too sure what to do either.

With out warning she slapped the bat shit out of Caroline, she stopped cutting and held her cheek.

"Bitch!"

"I didn't think that would actually work." I commented, Caroline stood up from the floor and went over to the sink immediately starting to clean her stained wrists.

"I can be quite resourceful." Rebekah grinned smugly."So if you never left Silas must be parading around with your face on."

I frowned that meant he probably made a move for Bonnie if he needed Caroline out of the way.

"I need to get back to Bonnie." I stammered sprinting away from the bathroom before either could even respond. Kol's face went from wanting to murder Matt to a concerned look the moment he saw me." I need to get back to Bonnie."

"Come on." He took my hand and carried me off back to the underground cave. I nearly fainted at the sight of Bonnie on the floor.

"Bonnie!" I yelled pulling her into my lap, I started to freak out. She was on the floor struggling to breathe." Bonnie breathe please!"

"This isn't real Bonnie feel the air in your lungs." I flinched back at the familiar hand that slowly came into my line of sight. Gramms was kneeling in front of me with her hand on Bonnie's shoulder.

"Gramms?!" I said shocked, last time she appeared to us she'd been tortured and we had not known what happened to her after that.

"How are there two of you?" Bonnie asked confused, I looked from Gramm's back to Bonnie." Silas?"

"Now you know Silas could never look this good." I huffed, Gramm's playfully rolled her eyes.

"Would Silas try and save your life? Now breath." She ordered after what felt like forever Bonnie was able to breath again.

"I knew I shouldn't have left are you okay?" I asked as we helped Bonnie to her feet, she nodded weakly.

"Gramm's we were so worried." Bonnie turned her attention to Gramms. The imagine of her being tortured played in my head before it stopped.

"I know but I'm okay. I've been watching over you two." She replied, I looked down at my feet while Bonnie looked embarrassed. Something about knowing we had an audience while we did stupid shit was mortifying.

"We messed up." Bonnie said softly. I felt Gramms tilt my head up forcing me to make eye contact with her.

"I'm sorry."

"It's fine, you two can still stop Silas." She said, the two of us looked between the other.

"I certainly can't." I responded bowing out gracefully. I was strong but I'd only used spirit magic with a splash of dark magic. I either needed Davina's power or expression and those weren't just readily available to me.

"Quetsiyah was able to immobilize him so he couldn't feed or get into people's heads. I don't know how to do that." Bonnie said weakly. Her only plan was to ask Quetsiyah and the lady really didn't show up.

"If there's anybody who can do it it's you." I said supportively, I did not have enough time to learn expression nor did I actually want to learn it so it was gonna have to be Bonnie.

"Expression is the manifestation of your will. You can do anything. I don't like it but sometimes there are no choices. But you are strong enough. You can do this." Gramms said firmly, Bonnie nodded as she gained some confidence in herself.

We started to head out but Gramm's grabbed my arm stopping me in my tracks the look on her face immediately put me on edge.

"What is it?"

"I just want you to be ready for this so you aren't surprised when it happens, this will most likely kill her." Gramms said lowly, my jaw dropped staring in the direction Bonnie had just went off into." Lowering the veil, neutralizing Silas and closing the veil is too much for one person. None of this is your fault."

"I'm just supposed to let her kill herself? We can just get rid of Silas and leave it down it's not hurting anybody." I argued but Gramms shook her head and swallowed.

"The dead should not be allowed to roam freely, baby. I'm sorry. I'm going to take care of her I promise."

"I can't do this. I can't be here for this." I started to hyperventilate because the thought of losing Bonnie was too much. What was I supposed to do without my other half. That kind of grief would eat me alive.

"Go be with Bonnie, I'll help Alicia." Kol said, I didn't realize he'd come down with me when I came back. I thought he went off to go do Kol things while I checked in on Bonnie. I grimaced when I finally realized what that feeling in my stomach was the whole day.

"I can't let her do it." I cried as soon as Gramms was gone." She'll be gone, you'll be gone."

"Then don't let her put it back up. You gain nothing by allowing her to put the veil back up."

"It goes against nature, as a witch it's our duty Kol." I explained, he gave me a look almost as if I was the last person he'd expect to give the against nature speech.

"You spit in the face of nature every day."

"No, I just do what makes sense to me." I retorted with a slight eye roll." As much as I don't want to lose any of you, letting hell on earth isn't the best idea. I have an idea."

Davina had the power of three witches, once I made it to New Orleans if anybody could resurrect Bonnie & Kol it'd be her.

"Do share with me, Darling."

"Davina." I simply said, I used my magic to track Bonnie and went after her. Color me surprised when I saw Silas desiccated on the floor. My shock was short lived though because I ended up pinned to the wall by my neck by Damon.

Ah yes, the veil was down meaning he'd obviously spoken to Elena.

I didn't have to even do anything the next thing I knew Damon was soaring through the air and hitting the wall back first. He fell to the floor in a heap and snarled.

"You killed Elena and acted like you didn't do anything this entire time? That's why you were avoiding us."

"Technically Nik killed her, Alicia just provided the assist." Kol corrected standing protectively in front of me. It would've almost been cute if Bonnie wasn't the one who actually hurled Damon away from me.

"You knew." Damon looked at Bonnie next. Almost like he'd expected my own sister to have more loyalty to them than me.

"I'm going to bring Elena & Jeremy." Bonnie said, Damon shook his head before flashing off with Silas' body. I pulled Bonnie into a tight hug." Can we hug somewhere else please?"

"No, now is perfect." I mumbled into her shoulder, I didn't want to let her go. I honestly wished Gramms didn't say a thing to me about what's going to happen." If you can bring back Elena & Jeremy can you."

"No, we'll find another way." Kol cut me off, I pulled away from Bonnie and looked at him. He'd wanted nothing more than to be alive again but was putting my sister first." Even with her channeling you, that's way too much magic."

It wasn't necessarily him putting Bonnie first but me, he'd known I would've forced her to channel me and it would've probably killed both of us in the process.

"Kol are you sure?" She asked, I looked at her with nothing but love in my eyes. Bonnie was the best person in my life." We did this for you & Jeremy it isn't right if I get my happy ending and Alicia doesn't."

Kol & I exchanged a look which didn't go unnoticed by Bonnie.

"There's something you should know."

After filling Bonnie in on what's going to happen our spirits were definitely down. She'd had all the confidence in the world and I'd single handedly ruined it.

She made a few calls to Stefan about how they were going to handle Silas before rejoining me & Gramms in the cave. I'd sent Kol to be with Rebekah while Bonnie did the spell.

"It's time to put the veil back up." Gramms said, she stared at me as if she'd known I spilled to Bonnie already.

"I'm going to die here aren't I." Bonnie asked, she looked at Gramms with eyes full of tears."This was my destiny? This is how my story ends."

"I'm sorry Bonnie." Gramms said softly." Alicia & I are here for you."

"There's something I have to do first." Bonnie replied, Gramms looked at the two of us on edge. I held my hand out to Bonnie which she reluctantly took.

"What are you two doing?"

"I can bring Jeremy & Elena back." Bonnie said, I closed my eyes I knew Gramms was going to look to me for help. This was what Bonnie wanted she knew the consequences and she was willing to do it. She was selfless and much too good for these people.

"No you can't."

" I have every magic. I have the spirits." She chanted, I felt the room suddenly get colder as if the wind was somehow blowing around down here.

"Bonnie stop!"

"I have expression." Bonnie said.

"Alicia stop her!"

"And I have the darkness." Bonnie said, almost as if on cue I passed out. Or at least I hope I passed out.
