"Good morning, Tannerinos," Kimmy Gibbler, the annoying neighbor and DJ Tanner's best friend, announced as soon as she walked through the back door just when the Tanner family had sat down for breakfast.

"Kimmy, don't you ever knock?" Jesse asked incredulously.

Kimmy reached for a piece of bacon from DJ's plate as she shrugged her shoulder. "I would knock, but I have a feeling nobody will actually let me in. So, Joey, I heard you and Ms. T are getting married. I think that's cool." She said as she took a bite of the bacon.

"Why, thank you, Kimmy. That's very considerate of you," Joey said with a nod and a friendly smile.

"Where is your lovely bride?" Kimmy asked, noticing they were missing a Tanner.

"She was called into work early this morning," Joey answered as he took a sip of his coffee. "Did you need something?" He asked, wondering why Kimmy wanted to know where his fiancée was, unless she needed something.

"I just wanted to know what kind of dress I should wear for the wedding." Kimmy answered with a shrug as she took another bite of the bacon she had swiped from DJ's plate.

Joey couldn't help but chuckle sarcastically. "What makes you think you're invited?"

"Oh, come on. I'm practically part of the family, aren't I?"

"No!" Everyone said in unison, except for DJ, who just sat there quietly.

Kimmy sighed exasperatedly, rolling her eyes. "But I'm DJ's best friend, and she already invited me to the wedding anyway," Kimmy said with a shrug as she looked over at DJ. "I'll wait for you outside." She added before walking out of the back door, closing it behind her.

"You invited Kimmy Gibbler to the wedding?" Joey asked, as he wasn't aware of this. He completely understood that Kimmy is DJ's best friend and he respects that, since Danny is his best friend. But the wedding is supposed to be about family, and no offense to Kimmy or anything, but Joey isn't really sure if he wants her there.

" Not exactly, all I told her was that I was going to talk to you and Aunt Wendy about it. I just haven't had the chance to until now." DJ said with a shrug. "I guess she thought that meant she was actually invited. Sorry, Joey. I know I should've talked to you guys about it before I said anything to her."

Joey shook his head as he waved his hand. "Don't worry about it, DeeJ. I'll just talk to Wendy about it when she gets home from work. But I'm not making any promises."

DJ nodded as she threw her arms around Joey's neck and kissed his cheek. "Thanks, Joey, you're the best," she said as she grabbed her bookbag and walked out of the back door to catch up with Kimmy.

Once Michelle and Stephanie walked out of the back door to catch the school bus, Danny started clearing off the table. "You're really not considering inviting Kimmy Gibbler to the wedding, are you?" He asked as he scrunched his nose.

Joey shrugged a little as he started to help with the cleaning. Meanwhile, Becky and Jesse gathered up the twins and headed upstairs to the attic. "I don't know, but it's up to Wendy. So I talked to my mom last night," he said, handing Danny the rest of the dirty dishes.

"Is she still insisting that you invite your dad?"

Joey deeply sighs as he sits down at the kitchen counter. "Yeah, I'm supposed to call him." Joey's relationship with his father has always been strained. It was even more strained when Joey's father walked out on him and his mother. Joey's father never really supported his career. He always thought comedy was a waste of time. He always wanted Joey to be a lawyer.

Danny dried his hands after washing the last dish and walked towards the counter. "I know it's been hard for you to talk to your father, Joe, and calling him won't be easy, but I think you should at least try. If you can't, that's fine. You're my best friend, Joe, and I'll fully support whatever you decide."

Joey nodded. "Thanks, Danny. I really appreciate it."

Both Wendy and her co-worker, and best friend Melony, were walking through the Zoo grounds, checking on the animals, and making sure they were fed and clean. Since it was a slow day, with hardly any families walking around, Wendy and Melony headed back to their shared office.

"How's the wedding planning going?" Melony asked as she grabbed two water bottles from the mini fridge and handed one to Wendy before sitting down behind Wendy's desk.

Wendy blew out a breath as she sat down in front of her desk and started opening her water bottle. "It's going well so far. I mean, so far, I've got Cater's. A wedding photographer, Jesse, my brother's brother-in-law, had agreed to let his band play at our wedding. Becky even agreed to be my maid of honor."

Melony nodded as she took a drink from her water bottle. "Has Joey picked a best man yet?"

Wendy also took a drink from her water bottle as she shook her head. "Not yet, and he's only got a few months to make a decision." She said as she pulled an invention out of her purse and extended her hand. "Here, it's for you."

Melony took the invitation from Wendy's hand and took a closer look at it. "You're inviting me to your wedding?" She asked, a smile spreading across her face, shocked that she had actually been invited.

Wendy chuckled softly as she nodded. "Of course I am. You're my best friend, Mel." She answered, setting her water bottle down on her desk after twisting the cap back on.

Melony nodded as she got up from the chair and walked over to Wendy to give her a hug. "Thanks for inviting me to your wedding. Oh my gosh, I gotta find a new dress." Melony said as she let go of Wendy suddenly.

"Well, why don't you go shopping with me, Becky, and my nieces?"

"I don't know. Are you sure?"

Wendy nodded again with a smile. "Yeah, I'm sure. Besides, it will give you a chance to meet some of my family. So, what do you say? Wanna go shopping this weekend?"

Melony thinks about it for a moment and then nodded. "Yeah, I would love to go shopping with you and meet your family. Count me in." She said with a smile as she was looking forward to going shopping this weekend.

Later that evening, Wendy walked through the front door and found Joey sitting on the sofa with the phone in his hand. After she hung up her jacket by the door, she walked further into the living room and greeted him with a soft kiss on his lips. "Hey honey," she said with a smile. "Did you call your dad?" she asked hopefully.

Joey sighed, shaking his head. "Not yet," he said as he set the cordless phone down on the coffee table and ran both hands down his face. "I know I should just call and talk to him. But what am I supposed to say to the man?" All day, Joey had been trying to find a way to call the Colonel. He was just too chicken to do it.

Wendy grabbed Joey's hand and brought it up against her lips as she kissed the back of his hand. "Just talk to him, Joey. You don't really have to say anything to him. But just talk to him. You will feel better if you do." She said with a soft and warm smile.

Joey grinned as he nodded and leaned forward, gently kissing her. "You're right. I should just call him and get it over with. Thanks, honey." He said, kissing her once more.

"Good," she said as she got up from the couch. "Now I'm going upstairs to clean up before dinner." She said as she turned around and walked upstairs to jump into the shower and get the smell of zoo animals off of her before dinner was ready.

After Joey watched Wendy walk upstairs, he exhaled deeply, picked up the cordless phone, and dialed his father's number. After a few rings, he heard the Colonel on the other end, took a deep breath, and began speaking.

"Hey Dad."
