It is morning. The brothers walk to the shop. John told them that Roman had to adjust the cannon. The two ask the judge if it was okay. He says as long as they get right to work after. The brothers decide to eat breakfast as Roman starts his invention. Dwayne comes up a little later and he helps him. Taker looks around the place, it is cleaner now. Also, the people are now feeling a lot better. They are now cheerful, and sometimes even help out the brothers. Taker is loving this. But he still has work to do.
Chapter 4
It is now the afternoon. The brothers are standing outside the shop. Roman did tell them to meet them at front. The brothers didn't wait long. Roman comes out with a smile. He tells them to hang on. He comes out with the water cannons. The two smile, it looks new and improve. It does feel lighter now. The two start testing it out. Roman stops the two. "I added to new nuzzles. I noticed that the two have been running back and forth from across the island. So, I build Speed water boost. And the other Fly time" Taker looks at his brother.
"Got to work on those names kid" Taker says. Roman rolls his eyes.
"Come on try it" Roman says. "Taker try the speed water"
"Okay..." Taker switches the nozzle.
"And you, Kane, try the Fly time" Roman smiles wide. John stands next to Roman. He wants to see this. Taker looks at Kane.
"You first" Taker says
"No, you first" Kane says
The two laughs at each other. "Okay, together. One-two-Three GOOOOOOO" Taker cries as he goes speeding off across the sidewalk. Kane shouts as he goes high up to the sky. John gives a big smile.
"WHOA!"
Roman nods. The speed water gives a splashing water pressure pointing behind the person. Once you press it and shoots out water with pressure. You go flying just like a jet, well more like running. Taker can't seem to keep on. He has been running, moving his feet. He is going so fast; he can't even see where he is going. He tries to focus; he has to able to see the front. He keeps going, his eyes widen when he sees the ocean. He cries out as he closes his eyes. He gasps, he didn't fall in the water. He opens his eyes to see that he is running on water. "WHOA!" Taker cheers. Now he is liking this.
John looks to the sky. He sees Kane high up on the air. He did manage to land on a roof. The nuzzle builds up pressure, more like evaporates the water, using it to blast off into the sky. It heats up the water quick, and with that it releases with so much pressure you go up. Kane tries to stay calm. He never went that high up. He looks up to see another roof right above him. He presses the button, and it builds. He jumps out and off he goes. He lands on the roof. "AWESOME!" Kane looks to see his brother running on water. He is running in circles; he then sees him run back to land and straight to John. Taker releases the button, and he runs full speed. He gasps as he crashes right into the door. He slides down.
"Taker!" John says. He runs to him and kneels next to him. "You, okay"
"I'm okay, did you see that? I was running on water" Taker smiles.
Kane changes his nuzzles and he hovers. He lands right in front of the two.
"So, what did yours do?" Taker says
"You should try it" Kane smirks. "And I'll try yours"
The two nod. The two get ready. "One-two-three-GOO!" Taker goes up high. "AAAAHH" He cries out. He lands right on the roof. He looks to see Kane; he dashes through the sidewalk. He sees him ahead to the ocean. Taker smiles as he sees his brother running on water too. Taker gets up and he tries again, he jumps, and he goes high. He lands on the same spot. He switches his nozzle, and he hovers to get down. Kane slows down but not fast enough.
"Taker watch OUT!"
Taker turns to see Kane already heading towards him. Kane jumps to him, trying not to fully hit him on. The two go crashing to the ground.
"You guys okay" John says with worry. The two give a nod.
"You know we haven't heard from Sol yet" Kane says.
"I know. He hadn't shown up yet. Maybe he is in that cave" The two look at the cave. "But we will clean this place up more before we go after him"
"Okay" Kane smirks. The two look at each other. The two are hearing a noise, like something is stomping their way towards the two. "Do you hear that?"
"Yes" Taker says. The two are resting at the beach. Taker gets up, he sees smoke. His eyes widen. "Speaking of Sol, I found him"
"What?" Kane gets up to look his way. He also stares with wide eyes. "What is he riding?"
"It looks like a caterpillar" Taker says. "It sounds like a train" He laughs.
"It's getting closer" Kane says. The two gasps as it runs with full speed. The two jump out of the way, the caterpillar stops it's running. It slowly turns around to look at the two.
"Hey brothers. What do you think? My mecha Caterpillar" Sol laughs "I call it wiggler"
"Looks nice" Kane says
"Sally, enough with your toys"
Sol growls at the name. He moves the controls. The wiggler starts running down the beach. It is charging, no it is stampeding around the beach. Taker notices the people are trying to run from it.
"HEY STOP, THAT!" Taker shouts. Sol laughs as he speeds up the wiggler.
"Try and stop me!" Sol shouts. He continues on, he is planning on destroying the beach.
"What do we do? How do we stop a moving caterpillar, especially one that big"
"I-I don't know" Taker says. He doesn't have any ideas. He has to think, what can stop a moving caterpillar. One that is moving like a train. How would you stop a runaway machine. He looks around, there got to be something. He doesn't see anything that they can use. "Water...we can probably" The wiggler goes in the water. It didn't even damage it. Taker blinks, "No not water"
"Well, we can tip it over" Kane says
"How?" Taker says
The brothers look around, what can they use. It has to be something huge, big enough to hit the front. Or least the side to make it tip over. They don't see anything, there's got to be something. Taker sighs "The controls?"
"Yeah,"
"He is controlling the wiggler." Taker says, "We have to take over it?"
"How?" Kane says
"We make him mad" Taker smirks
"What?"
"Let's play around. I will provoke him, distract him and you will jump on and take over the controls"
"Okay, let's do it"
Taker switches the nozzle to speed water. He presses and off he goes. He is right next to the mecha. Taker stares at Sol.
"Sammy! We are getting really tired of these games"
"MY name is not SAMMY!"
"Salty, I don't care about your name" Taker shouts. Sol growls as he moves the mecha. It goes after Taker. He hopes the water last. Kane is right beside him. He jumps and lands right next to Sol.
"Whoa, it worked" He cheers. He grabs Sol. The two start fighting. The mecha turns. Taker also turns and sees the lighthouse straight ahead. Sol is fighting Kane, the two are fighting to take over the controls. The two didn't even notice the lighthouse. The two are still fighting for the controls. Taker is using the speed hover.
"KANE. THE LIGHTHOUSE. Turn around!" Taker shouts.
"I'm trying but Sol here, is fighting me"
Sol punches Kane. He turns to see the lighthouse straight ahead. He growls and he breaks the controls. Kane shouts as he tries to stop him from breaking more. Sol punches Kane again, the two start fighting.
"KANE!" Taker shouts. "KANE TURN AROUND!" Taker turns to see Kane bring held down by Sol. Kane punches Sol, and he grabs him by the shirt. He punches him, again and again and again. Sol is out cold. Kane throws Sol off, making him land on sand. Kane turns to the controls. He gasps, they are all broken. He hopes the breaks isn't broken. He sees it and he pull it. Only for the mecha to go faster. "STOP THE WIGGLER!"
"I"M TRYING!" Kane shouts "The controls are destroyed"
Taker gasps. He has to think fast. He looks at the lighthouse. It is probably strong enough to stop it. He circles around the beach, and he jumps onto to the mecha. Taker looks over the controls. "We have to move just a little. So, it can hit the side and tip over"
"Great but how the controls are destroyed" Kane says
"This is to control right?"
"Yes, Sol was using that"
"Then, let's try it. Pull as hard as you can" The two grab the knob and both pull at the same time. As they did the two hear a creaking sound. Meaning that it is working. The two shout as the two pull. The brothers gasps as they feel the lever move. The mecha shifts. "It worked!" Taker looks at Kane "NOW JUMP!" The brothers jump off, landing safely on the sand. The mecha goes running towards the lighthouse. The wiggler hits the side of the lighthouse, making it go up and down to its side it goes. It goes sliding down the beach until it comes to a complete stop. "YES" The two cheer. Sol gets up, he gasps as he sees his wiggler go down.
"NNOO!" He shouts. He is getting tired of the two. He gets up and dashes towards the brothers. "You guys are so annoying!" He starts fighting the two. Sol looks like he is winning at first. He then gets hit by Taker. Now he is getting hit. The brothers are not giving him room to breathe. The two are punching, kicking, slapping him all around. He cries out as he goes to his knees. "DAMMIT!"
"It's over Sally. Turn yourself in! Tell everyone that it was you who destroyed this place" Taker growls
"I told you MY NAME IS-!" Taker punches him.
"Don't care. Now let's go to the station"
"You leave my friend alone" the two turn around to see another man walking towards them. He is also wearing a mask and has a paint brush on his hand. He looks angry. "How dare you bully him!"
"UH" Taker growls "Bully?! He was the one trying to kill us"
"YOU!" he shouts. "How dare you hurt my friend!"
Taker glares at him. "Your friend here has been causing problems." Taker starts "So I'm going to stop him and take him down!"
"I can't let you do that"
"Why not?" Taker says
"Sun, we can take them?" Sol smiles
The brothers look at each other. Sun smiles as he stretches.
"No, leave them to me"
Sun gets his brush. He swings it. It goes to the ground. The snakes start slithering out of the lava paint. The brothers take a step back, and notice that the color is darker. The lava is swirling like crazy. The snakes are already on the way. The brothers switch the nuzzle and start shooting at the snake. Sun is walking towards the two. He is using the snakes as distractions. He punches Kane down first.
"HEY!" Taker shouts. He runs to him, he punches him. The two start fighting. The snake jumps to the air. Taker gasps as he jumps out of the way. Sun jumps the other way. Kane gets up and rubs his cheek. The snake is right behind him. Kane gasps as he turns and shoots the snake. The brothers stand still, the snakes, they aren't dying like the others. The snakes are swirling around making more of the lava paint. Sun runs to Taker, he punches him. Taker goes up and lands on his back. He rolls over when he sees the snake. "Come ON!" Taker moves his hand, and he cries out. "OUCH!" He looks to his fingers, they felt like they got burn.
"My lava paint. Can burn you alive" Sun laughs.
"Great" the two brothers say. Taker gets up, and he looks everywhere. The snakes are still slithering around. They have to stop the snakes. Before they go off and go around the town. Taker shoots one snake, and it cries out. The snake goes faster, dodging the water.
"We have to stop them" Kane says "They can go to the city"
"I know but our water is not working" Taker says "We need more power"
The two stand back-to-back. Sun is in front of them, smiling wide. The brothers start shooting, after what seem like forever the snakes dies out. Sun smirks as he runs to the brothers. He punches Taker. He kicks Kane. The two stumble but manage to stay standing. The brothers charge to Sun. The three start fighting. Sun has a smile, which is making Taker angry. Sun keeps dodging, he even yawns. Sun punches Taker right in the gut, he cries out. Kane gets hit right on the side. He goes down. The two are down. Kane manage to get up to his knees. He fires water at Sun. He cries out as it hits him.
"YOU BAST-"
Taker shoots him. Sun paints more lava and snakes go out. Sun cries out as he hides behind the snake. The brothers keep shooting with their full power. Kane eyes wide when he hears his jet. It is low on water. Taker hears it, he turns to his brother. "GO! I will hold them off" Kane nods and he run to the ocean. He presses the button, and he fills up the tank. He sees Taker running around, trying to avoid the snake. Kane runs back to the field, and he sprays the snake. The snake disappears. Sun appears right in front him. Kane goes face first to the ground. "KANE!"
Taker runs to his brother. He tackles Sun. The two start fighting. Sun looks to see Sol; he wants to join in too. He sighs, he doesn't want to let his brother see him struggle. He glares at Taker. How can this man be stronger than him. No matter much he punches him down, he gets up. The two won't give up. Sun can see that he is losing the fight. He can't let Sol know that. He has to think of something. He smirks.
"I said my paint can burn you alive" Sun grabs the brush and he swings it to Taker. Taker gasps as he tries to dodge but it got the right side of his face and shoulders. He cries out as he feels the stinging sensation. He goes to his knees, and he tries to stop the pain. The lava is still on him, burning him. He can feel his skin peeling off by the burn. Sun takes a step back. He makes his way to Sol. "I'll see you brothers later. Right now, don't y'all have to clean this up" Sun runs to Sol, and the two walk off.
"AAH AHHH Ahh" Taker cries. He needs to take this lava off. He reaches for the ocean. He can use that water to heal him. He needs it to heal him, also can it heal him. He tries to hide his pain. "AAHHHHH!' The paint goes down his neck, burning it. He shouts more as the paint drips down his back. The lava drips down the neck, to his chest. As it goes down it burns off his shirt. The right side is burning like hell. He needs this paint off before it gets his whole body.
"TAKER!" Kane shouts. Kane shoots water at him, hoping to help him. Taker cries as the water hit him. It is shocking him. Kane stops. "NO! What can I do? What should I do?" Taker reaches for the ocean. Kane nods. He goes to Taker's left side and picks him up. He tries to avoid the lava paint. He makes his way to the ocean. The two are standing and Taker goes to his knees. He tries to wash off the lava paint. He shouts in pain as his body jolts. The pain is too much, Taker faints. He falls to the water. "NOO!" Kane picks him up. He gasps, "NO NO NO NO!" Kane checks him, he doesn't have the lava paint. He picks him up, and off he goes to the hospital. Kane ignore everyone in his way. The Hardy's are about to stop him but notice Taker in his arms. The two gasps. Kane keeps running. He rushes in and he kicks the door open. "HELP ME PLEASE!"
The nurses turn to see him. They are all in shock. Taker in his arms, not responding. His right side burned, peeling, bleeding. Kane looks down to his brother, his right face, almost gone.
"PLEASE!" Kane shouts. He runs in to find a doctor. The nurses stop him, and one brings a bed. Kane gently place his brother down. The nurses wheel him in. Kane notice Dr. Foley on his way after his brother. Kane goes to his knees. His body starting to hurt now. Sun did have some strong punches.
"QUICKLY! We are losing HIM!" Kane jolts up. His eyes widen. "LET'S GO!" Kane sees Dr. Foley wheeling Taker out of the hospital. Kane runs after him. He is right behind them now, wondering where they are taking him. They take a turn, he follows. "COME ON! We are close" Kane looks to see a waterfall. He never seen this before. He turns back, he notices it is on the other side of the hospital. They never came around this area, so they never noticed. "HERE!" Dr. Foley picks up Taker, and he gently places him in the water. Kane sees the waterfall, and right beneath it is a river, leading towards the ocean. Taker is floating in the water. Dr. Foley watches him closely. Kane runs to the two.
"What?! What are you doing?" Kane says. Foley looks up at him. He can see the tears still in the brothers' eyes.
"Healing him. This water is powerful enough to heal" Foley goes in the water. "Help me carry him across"
Kane looks in surprise. He looks down and he sees his brother's arm healing. Kane goes to help him. The two moves him further into the river. He gently places the water on Taker's face. Kane eyes widen. The face is coming back.
"Let's take him back" The two walk to the edge. The two are sitting down, holding onto Taker. The little waves hitting Taker. The water making Taker float, and Kane holds onto to him. Foley smiles. "He looks better" Kane nods. Taker eyes open slowly, he growls when the sun hits it. It is still not as bright, but mange to hurt his eyes. Taker gets up, he looks at the waterfall.
"Whoa. That is beautiful" Taker whispers.
"BROTHER! You, are okay!" Kane hugs him tight. Taker gives the hug back. "Oh, thank goodness"
"I'm fine now. Actually, I feel so much better" Taker says.
"This water. Can heal all" Foley smiles. Taker sighs.
"Thanks doc"
The two share a smile. Kane still hadn't let go of his brother. He almost lost him.
"I thought, I mean, I can't-"
"Hey, it's okay. I'm not going anywhere yet" Taker smiles. He rubs his brothers back, soothing him.
"I have to head back. See you boys later" Foley gets out of the water. He goes back to work. Taker leans back to look at his brother.
"You, okay?"
"I'm fine" he smiles "But you-"
"Like I said I'm fine" Taker leans back "But let's enjoy this water a bit" Kane smiles. He moves aside and he takes in the view. He looks at his brother, who is also taking in the view. But he sees something else in those eyes. Fear.
"Brother, I'm here if you need to talk"
"That pain. It hurt so much" Taker whispers "I thought I was going to lose my body"
"Well, not while I'm here" Kane says
Taker looks at his brother "Thank you, for saving me"
Kane smiles "Thank this water here" Kane makes a little splash. The two chuckle. Taker looks at his right arm. He sighs in relief; he is glad that it is back and all healed. He leans back more into the water. Kane looks at him.
"We have to find a way to stop them" Taker says
"How?"
"Water works. But we have to watch out for his brush" Taker says "Tomorrow, we will go after them. We will end this" Taker closes his fist. "We are going to return their light. We are going to clean the gate with the Sun statue"
Kane nods "You bet" The two go lower to the water. The water feels so good, their bodies are healing as they lay there. Taker decides to take a small nap.
The brothers are sitting down eating food. The cops did give them some time off. They decide to give them the whole day. The two were really worried about Taker. They are glad that Taker is alright. The two even went to hug him tight. The two are relieved that he is okay. The two really do like Taker, they don't want to lose him. Taker returns the hug, saying it's alright. The boys just wander off to do their own duties. Taker takes a bite out of his burger. He sees someone running to him.
"TAKER!" John jumps to him. He hugs him tight. "So glad you are okay!"
Taker hugs him back. "I'm okay"
"I heard. I heard that a man got burn alive. That it was the one cleaning the mess" John blinks his tears back "I ran to the hospital, and then Foley told me. He told me you were in bad condition but manage to save you"
Taker kisses him. "Yes. He manages to save me and heal me. There is a waterfall by the hospital. That water can heal he says"
"Oh, thank goodness" John kisses him again.
"So, you guys are a thing now or..." Kane says
The two look at him. John blushes as Taker bring him closer to him. John yelps as he sits right on Taker's lap. Taker glares at his brother. John smiles.
"Yes" Taker looks at John "Be mine"
John stares at him.
"Oh, that sounds romantic" Kane laughs. John now glares at him. Kane stops and blinks "What?"
"Yes. I will be yours" John kisses Taker.
"Okay, that settles it" Kane smiles.
The two grin. The three then hang out the whole day. The people there are now giving out gifts to Taker. The place is looking nicer now. The place is starting to show light. The brothers are doing an amazing job. The people did sit down, to think about Taker. When they saw Kane running to the hospital with him in his arms, all gasps. Something in their hearts change. Now they believe that he didn't paint the whole town. It wasn't him all along. Taker is walking by, and others come to wish him a good recovering. He is now liking this place more. Others start helping him out now. They grab jugs of water, and off they go to clean up the lava paint. Some even fight the snakes that come out. The brothers look around. Taker smiles.
"Look at that" Taker says. He blinks his tears back. After all he been through, and now they are helping him. He feels the weight on his shoulder lift up. He doesn't feel much pressure anymore. He sees others with hose and spray anything that is lava. They even spray the walls, and sidewalk. Some of them even battle the big bosses. Taker looks at his brother and John.
"Well, we do deserve to rest a bit" Kane grins. John nods as he hugs Taker tighter. The two keep walking until they come to a stop. Taker is looking up at the mountain. He is going up there, and he is going to stop Sun.
"I will end this!"
Kane looks at him "Brother, I say we take it easy now. I mean, you almost died, in my arms"
"I can fight. I feel a lot stronger now" Taker looks at his right arm "He will pay for what he did to me"
"He is too powerful" Kane says "I don't want you to get hurt"
"I'll be fine"
John looks at him. "Taker, don't do this alone"
He looks at his love.
"I'm here brother. I will follow you. But let's wait. Let's find a way to stop him first"
Taker nods. They are both right. Right now, he is not thinking straight. He wants revenge, and he is going to stampede his way to Sun. He is going to beat him up. He is going to make him suffer. He takes a deep breath. He can't go like this; he needs to calm down. If he fights angry, he will lose or get killed this time. He looks at the others. "Okay"
"AH-ah yes Taker, faster, faster, baby" John moans as Taker takes him. John shuts his eyes, arches his back as he releases. He cries out, and grips on Taker tight. The big man grunts as he keeps going, he is going to cum, he is close. He grunts as he shoots in John. He collapses, John hugs him tight around his neck. John kisses his forehead, his temple and nose. Taker chuckles. He gets up to look at him. The two share a kiss, both catching their breath.
The night goes by. The two are cuddle next to each other. Taker is staring at the ceiling. He can't sleep. For some reason he can still feel the pain. He wishes he can just forget it but no. It is stuck to him, stuck to his memory. He hated that pain, such horrible pain.
"You okay" John says. He rubs Taker's chest, soothing him. Taker sighs.
"Not really. I can still feel the pain" Taker says. John kisses his chest.
"Sorry to hear that" John says "I wish I can take that pain away"
"Don't be. It's something I have to do"
John nods "Something else on your mind?"
"I'm scared"
John kisses him.
"I'm scared he might get Kane" Taker says "And he will feel the same pain. I can't let that happen"
"Kane is strong. Also, we know where to take him if it happens"
"I don't want it to happen" Taker growls "I don't want him to fight. I didn't want him to clean up this whole place, to get hurt, to get shocked. I wanted him to be safe, and enjoying this vacation"
"I know"
"Every day, I was so scared. Every day he is out with me" Taker chuckles "Some weakness"
"It's not weakness. It gives you strength. You fight harder, so your brother doesn't get hurt." John looks at him in the eyes. "I bet Kane feels the same"
Taker looks away. "I don't know what I will do, if anything happens to him"
"He will be fine. He is strong, smart, and knows exactly what he is doing. Also, he has you"
Taker looks back at John. He kisses him.
"It will be okay now." John whispers "You two work together and bring them down"
Taker hovers over him, going between John's legs. John chuckles as he wraps his legs around the big guy. Taker kisses him with passion. The two kiss, bite, and rub each other. The two jerk up when they hear a loud explosion. "What was that?!" Taker says. The two get up and run to the window. Taker gasps as he grabs the blankets to cover themselves. "Get dress" Taker goes to get dress. He runs outside follow by John. Kane is running towards the two.
"Did you guys hear that?" Kane shouts.
"Yes"
"LOOK!" John shouts.
The three look up at the mountain. Sun is hovering over the mountain. "Hey guys. I'm just trying to erupt this volcano"
"VOLCANO!" the three shout.
"Yup, it's warming up. Once it goes off. Isla Del Sol is going to burn and disappear from the map. No escape" Sun starts swinging his brush. He goes back into the volcano.
"I don't think we can wait Kane" Taker says "Suit up, and let's climb"
The brothers are about to put on their jets. Roman shouts at the two. "I made something. I figure you guys can get burn. So, I made mecha suits. They are fire resistant, lava resistant. Sadly, it won't last as long" Taker gives the kid a hug. "Thanks. It will help big time" he says. The two suit up, Taker is wearing a blue suit, Kane is wearing red. They put on their jets. Taker looks at John. He runs to him. "Be careful" John whispers. "I will. You too" The two share a kiss. The brothers start running.
