Carrie (2013)/The Wizard of Oz Crossover Prompt 1
After the Rain of Stones incident, Margaret and Carrie move away from Chamberlain to a house in rural Kansas where Margaret hopes her daughter will be safe from "sinful sights" in such a sparsely populated area. One day, following another beating, Carrie runs away from home, having had enough of her mother's abuse.
Unfortunately, the weather turns dark and she sees a twister beginning to form. Knowing the nearest house is too far away to reach before the tornado catches her, the young girl has no choice but to return home and hide inside their tornado shelter.
To her horror, Margaret has already locked herself in, believing the twister has claimed her daughter. Carrie rushes inside to find somewhere to avoid the deadly winds when a window breaks loose and hits her head, knocking the girl out.
