The sun's rays filtered through the window, flooding the room with soft morning light. Naruto got up early, even before the village started to come alive. Anko was already waiting for him at the training ground, her gaze focused but at the same time gentle.
"Are you ready, young Shinobi?" "What is it?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
Naruto smiled broadly, pulling up the bandage on his forehead.
— Of course! I will definitely advance with Rasengan today!
Anko nodded, satisfied with his enthusiasm.
"Of course, I don't know this technique," she admitted, "but I can help you figure out how to manipulate the chakra." You're already pretty good at controlling it, so that should be the foundation for your success.
Naruto concentrated, stretching out his hand and trying to condense the chakra in his palm. Anko watched, gave advice, adjusted his stance and breathing.
After a while, Kurenai and her students came to the training ground — Hinata, Kiba and his faithful dog Akamaru. Kurenai, bowing her head in greeting, came closer.
— Good morning, Anko. It looks like you and Naruto are already in the middle of training.
Anko chuckled slightly.
"This guy can't sit still, as you know. I finally decided to master Rasengan.
Kurenai smiled, and Hinata, without taking her eyes off Naruto, said softly:
"That's... wonderful, Naruto—kun."
Kiba, holding his hands behind his head, said with a grin,
—Well, are you ready to show us something impressive?"
Naruto turned to them with a big smile.
— Of course! But first, let's practice together.
The 8 team joined the training. Kurenai organized joint exercises to improve teamwork and combat skills. Each member of the team actively participated, helping each other to develop.
Anko, in turn, watched Naruto, noticing how he was increasingly revealing his potential.
The team's cohesion began to be felt more strongly, and even small breaks were filled with jokes and encouraging comments.
The training of team 8 was in full swing. Naruto, focusing on his chakra, tried once again to condense it into the palm of his hand. Kurenai guided Hinata, who was honing her technique, while Kiba and Akamaru practiced synchronized attacks.
Suddenly, a Shinobi from the mission department quickly appeared on the training ground. His face was troubled. He stopped, catching his breath, and turned to Kurenai:
— Kurenai-sensei, you have an urgent mission. Sasuke Uchiha left the village and apparently headed for Orochimaru. The Hokage demands that your team immediately begin to capture him.
There was silence. Naruto froze in place, his gaze became serious. Hinata looked at him with concern, Kiba clenched his fists and bowed his head.
"Sasuke... ran away?" Naruto said slowly.
Kurenai nodded, her face remained calm but focused.
— Yes, Naruto. This task requires maximum coordination from us. We must get him back at all costs.
"I get it." If this is an order, then we will do everything to return it. Naruto said with determination
Kurenai quickly gave instructions:
— Get ready. Time is running out. We have to get out immediately.
Everyone nodded silently and began to prepare. Anko, watching Naruto, came closer and put her hand on his shoulder.
"Don't lose your head, Naruto. Stick to your principles, but don't forget that the task is the main thing.
Team 8 gathered on the outskirts of the village. The Hokage's assistant gave them the latest instructions. Kurenai listened attentively, then nodded.
We'll start immediately.
Naruto silently checked the equipment. Unlike the others, he didn't ask any questions—his face remained focused. Kurenai appreciated this; now was not the time for unnecessary emotions.
—Let's go," she said shortly.
The group moved quickly, but with caution. Naruto was silent, completely focused on the task at hand. Hinata periodically looked around, checking if everything was okay with her friends.
"Be ready,— Kurenai warned softly. — We don't know who might be waiting for us ahead.
The forest was getting thicker. Kiba, along with Akamaru, led the group in the footsteps.
"His footprints are here," he pointed to the broken branches and footprints on the ground. — He's not alone, there may be problems ahead.
Naruto nodded and continued moving. The others followed him, not lagging behind. There was tension in the air, but no one said a word.
Soon, a sudden noise broke the silence of the forest. Several ninja of Sound appeared from behind the trees, ready to fight.
"Get ready!" Kurenai commanded, immediately activating her genjutsu.
Naruto immediately rushed into battle. His movements were precise and confident. Using his chakra skills, he quickly neutralized one of the opponents, leaving him unconscious.
Hinata covered Naruto from the flank using her skills, while Kiba and Akamaru attacked together from the other side.
"We don't stay with them for long," Naruto said, knocking away another opponent.
Kurenai noticed that the enemies began to retreat, and commanded:
— That's it, continue along the route.
After leaving the battlefield, the team went deeper into the forest. Sasuke's footprints became clearer and clearer. Rocks appeared on the horizon, where, according to information, he could hide.
Naruto didn't slow down. His gaze was fixed on the goal — the main part of the mission was waiting ahead.
Team 8 moved cautiously, approaching the rocks where, according to Kiba, Sasuke was hiding. Naruto walked in front, fully focused on the mission. He felt that everything was going according to plan, but something inside him made him uneasy.
—Careful,— Hinata whispered, using her byakugan. "There are several guards there.
Kurenai nodded,
"Let's split up. Kiba, Hinata, you will take over the guards on the left side. Naruto, you're with me — we'll go on the right. The task is to eliminate the resistance and get inside.
Everyone agreed. Each of them understood that this was not just an ordinary mission — the fate of the village was at stake.
Once inside, the team noticed signs of Sasuke's presence. Naruto stopped, listening.
"He's here," he whispered, clenching his fists.
Kurenai gave the signal, and they moved on. Soon, they reached the main hall, where none other than Kabuto was waiting for them.
—Well, you've made it," he grinned. — You don't think you can take Sasuke away so easily.
Naruto stepped forward, preparing for battle. There was no fear or doubt in his eyes, just a cold determination.
"We're not here to talk,— he said.
Kabuto immediately attacked using his medical techniques. Kurenai activated the genjutsu to distract him, but Kabuto was prepared and quickly removed the effect.
Naruto at this time began to concentrate the chakra in his palms, trying to use at least the rudiments of Rasengan. Punch after punch, he fought confidently, pushing Kabuto back.
Kiba and Hinata, having completed the battle with the guards, joined the fight, and together they were able to defeat Kabuto, forcing him to retreat.
"Go ahead, we're almost there," Naruto said, breathing heavily.
When they finally reached the room where Sasuke was, his face was cold and distant.
— What do you need? — he said, without turning around.
Kurenai stepped forward:
"We've come to bring you back." This is an order from the Hokage.
Sasuke chuckled:
"An order?" How touching.
Naruto wasted no time coming closer,
"We don't care what you think. You're coming back with us.
Sasuke silently stood up, preparing for battle.
"Don't do this, Sasuke,— Hinata said, standing next to Naruto. Her voice was trembling, but her gaze remained steady. "We're here to help you."
"Help me?" Sasuke chuckled, his eyes sparkling. — You didn't come to help, but to drag me back, as if I were a toy that someone had lost.
— Sasuke, you have to understand that this is not your place! We all care about you! Naruto exclaimed, but his words did not find a response in Sasuke's heart.
Sasuke, despite the interference of Naruto and his team, stood firm on his own. He stepped back, preparing to use his chakra to attack.
"I'm not coming back, Naruto. It's a decision I made myself," Sasuke said with determination in his voice.
"We won't let you go, Sasuke!" Naruto exclaimed, his voice sounding determined.
Sasuke stepped back, preparing to attack, but Kurenai quickly folded the seals, and the world around Sasuke began to distort. Naruto, synchronizing with her actions, added his chakra to the technique, enhancing the effect.
"You won't escape that easily, Sasuke," Naruto said, his voice echoing in the distorted genjutsu space.
Sasuke suddenly found himself in an illusory reality. He stood in the middle of a field surrounded by an endless forest, and the sky above him shimmered with strange colors. With each step, the trees around him seemed closer, and the air became denser, as if it were squeezing his body.
—Hmm, double genjutsu,— Sasuke whispered, gritting his teeth. His Sharingan was glowing, analyzing the illusion. He concentrated, trying to find a weak spot in the technique.
However, the pressure was too great. Kurenai and Naruto worked in perfect tandem: Naruto supported the genjutsu by creating additional elements — snakes that began to crawl out of the shadows of the trees and approach Sasuke.
"It's not as easy as you think, Sasuke,— Kurenai's voice sounded around him, as if nature itself was talking to him.
Sasuke felt his body begin to weaken under the influence of the technique. For the first time in a long time, he found himself in a situation where he wasn't sure of his superiority. His breathing became heavy, and his vision began to blur. Attempts to use Sharingan to completely destroy genjutsu were not as effective as he had expected.
Realizing that he needed something more, Sasuke concentrated and began to accumulate chakra for a breakthrough. He forcefully released a wave of chakra to break the illusion. However, it wasn't enough to get free right away, as Naruto and Kurenai's combined technique was too strong.
While Sasuke was trying to get out of the genjutsu, Hinata and Kiba exchanged brief glances, understanding each other without words. They decided to take advantage of the moment to capture him.
—Akamaru, let's go," Kiba whispered.
"You can do it, Naruto," Yoshio said as they were about to leave. "You're stubborn, like your parents, I'm sure."
Naruto smiled, feeling tired but also satisfied with the work he had done. "Thanks for your help, Yoshio. You are a true friend.
When they were saying goodbye, Naruto did not notice the dark figure watching them from the roof of a nearby building. A figure with red eyes, in which a sharingan could be seen.
Itachi Uchiha watched Naruto's training with interest. "So the son of the Fourth has begun to master Rasengan," he muttered to himself."I wonder how this will affect my plans...
He silently disappeared into the gathering dusk, leaving Naruto and Yoshio to enjoy a moment of friendship and achievement, unaware of the dark forces gathering around them.
Returning home, Naruto found Anko waiting for him with dinner. - How was your day? "What is it?" she asked, noticing his tired but pleased look.
"Great," Naruto replied, sitting down at the table. - I started training with Rasengan. And, you know, I think I've realized something important.
"And what's that?" Anko asked, handing him a plate of dinner.
Naruto thought for a moment, choosing his words. - I realized that my parents have always been with me. In my chakra, in my stubbornness, in my desire to protect others. And I realized that I have a family- you, my friends, the whole of Konoha. I'm not alone anymore.
Anko felt her eyes fill with tears. She hugged Naruto, feeling proud of the man he was becoming. "You're right, kid. You will never be alone.
Then Anko pulled back and looked into Naruto's eyes with a serious expression on her face. - Listen, I know that Rasengan is a difficult technique. Your father was a genius, and it took even him a while to master it. If you want, I can help you with your training. Of course, I have no experience with this particular technique, but I do know something about chakra manipulation.
Naruto's eyes lit up. "Really?" That would be great!
Anko chuckled. - Of course, I will help. We'll start tomorrow, after your usual training sessions with the team. And don't think that I'm going to babysit you- it's going to be hard.
"I'm ready!" Naruto exclaimed enthusiastically.
Meanwhile, in another part of Konoha, on the territory of the deserted Uchiha clan quarter, Sasuke was training alone. His fists repeatedly struck the training pole, leaving deep dents in the wood. Suddenly, he felt a presence behind him. Sasuke whirled around, activating his sharingan, and froze in shock.
- Itachi... He gasped, his voice shaking with a mixture of fear and rage.
Itachi was standing just a few meters away from him, his face expressionless as always. - Hello, little brother.
Without wasting a second, Sasuke rushed at Itachi, activating the Chidori. "I'll kill you!" He shouted, aiming his attack straight at his brother's chest.
However, Itachi easily dodged, intercepted Sasuke's arm and threw him into the wall. Sasuke hit a hard surface, but immediately got to his feet, ready to continue the fight.
"You're still weak, Sasuke," Itachi said, his voice cold and indifferent. "You don't have enough hate."
Sasuke attacked again, but Itachi blocked or dodged each of his punches with ease. With each failed attempt, Sasuke felt his despair and anger grow.
Suddenly, Itachi was right in front of him, his eyes flashing, activating the Mangekyo Sharingan. "Let me show you how weak you are," he said before plunging Sasuke into genjutsu.
Sasuke found himself back in that terrible night when Itachi killed their parents. He was forced to relive these events over and over again, feeling helpless and weak.
When the genjutsu was over, Sasuke fell to his knees, panting and trembling. Itachi was looking down at him, his face expressionless.
"You haven't made any progress since our last meeting," Itachi said. "As long as you stay here playing ninja with your friends, you'll never be strong enough to defeat me."
With that, Itachi turned around to leave. On the threshold, he stopped and, without turning around, said in an icy tone: "If you really want to kill me, Sasuke, then hatred must become your strength." Put aside everything else and live only for revenge. Only then will you have a chance to stand up to me.
Itachi disappeared, leaving Sasuke alone, broken and humiliated. The young Uchiha lay on the ground, his body aching and his mind in turmoil. Itachi's words and actions deeply hurt him, making him doubt everything he knew and believed in.
That night, when Naruto fell asleep feeling hopeful and determined, Sasuke lay awake, his heart torn between devotion to Konoha and an all-consuming desire to become stronger at any cost in order to defeat his brother one day.
The new day promised to bring new challenges and solutions for both young ninjas, each of whom was on the verge of important changes in their lives.
