Elliot-A shy guy who works in the shippingb usiness.

Julia-A girl who works on the animal farm.

Natalie-Elliot's sister, who always picks on him.

Felicia-Elliot's mother.

Taro-Elliot's grandfather.

Pierre-The local cook.

One day, on Sprout Island, a guy in red hair, brown eyes and glasses, black suspenders, blue shirt, a green kilt, blue pants and brown shoes, was on his way to Verdure Island.

Then a girl snuck up and and grabbed his nose.

She was in red hair, a red headband, green shirt, yellow skirt, yellow and black pants with red exes and yellow shoes.

"Got your nose, Elliott!" she said.

Elliot shood her hand away.

"Why must you try the same old tricks, Natalie?" Elliot asked. "You're immature! We're too old for this!"

"Nothing's too old for my big brother!" said Natalie.

Then, from a house not so far away, an old man with prominent eyebrows and mustache, beady eyes, red neckerchif, blue overalls and yellow flip flops approached Elliot.

"Grandson!" said he. "You forgot our latest shipment!"

"I shouldn't have, Grandpa Taro," said Elliot. "I'll get it from Mark and Chelsea's farm. Now."

Then a woman appear appeared in a red braid wrapped half around her head and half hanging over her shoulder, a red yellow and orange dress, with a purple end and pink exes. She had a related face.

"Now, Natalie, my daughter," she said. "You'll work in Elliot's place while he visits his friend."

"MY daughter!" said Taro. "You spoil Elliot! And where did Natalie go to?"

"She went off to complete her brother's chores. I don't know if you noticed, but I overheard my childrens' conversation. Natalie was bothering Elliot! Unfortunately!" said Felicia.

Taro grumbled. "Well, Elliot should know that it's a sunny day, today. I'm able to feel it."

Elliot jumped! "Bye Mom! Bye Grandpa! And tell Natalie bye for me!"

"Tell Mirabelle 'hi' for me!" Felicia said.

And so, Elliot went to see his best friend. On Verdure Island.

Elliot was walking along when he saw Mirabelle, his friend's mother.

"How's Julia?" he asked.

Mirabelle stood there before Elliot and told him, "Julia is with Pierre. You know, the local cook? It's for a surprise!"

"For who?" Elliot asked.

Mirabelle smiled. "That is also a surprise! You should see them!"

So, Elliot went over to Pierre's, in a better mood than he had all day.

Elliot knocked on Pierre's door. He wasn't let in, but heard hushed voices from inside.

Then Julia went to the door and opened it.

She was in a blonde ponytail tied in black thread, a small blue shirt and blue mini skirt and white and red boots. She had blue eyes.

"Elliot!" she said, in half surprise. "Wh-What are you doing here?"

"Your mother, Mirabelle, told me I should visit. What is the surprise, and who is it for?"

Then Elliot heard another voice. Pierre's voice.

"Prevent him from getting in here!" he said.

Then Pierre, too went to the door.

"Go home," he said.

He was about to close it, but Julia pushed him away.

"Be rude somewhere else, Pierre!" she said. Then to Elliot, "You're warmly allowed in, from both of us, Elliot."

"B-but!" Pierre stuttered.

"Let's head for the living room!" said Julia as she lead him in.

Elliot then got a good look Pierre, and saw he was in a purple top hat, purple cloak, orange shirt, light purple pants and black shoes. His eyes were also purple.

Elliot sat down on the couch. He saw pictures of Pierre on the table.

"That's Pierre as a kid!" Julia said.

Pierre was holding onto his father and mother's hands as they walked around town.

Then Elliot saw another picture. A new picture.

It was of Julia and Pierre!

Julia noticed it after Elliot and placed it down.

"W-why are you two together in that?" Elliot asked.

Julia placed her hands in Elliot's. "No reason. We're just friends. Very good friends. But. You're my best friend, Elliot."

Pierre went into the living room, carrying food on a tray.

"I hope you like macarons!" Pierre said with a stronger French accent.

Then he saw the picture.

"Do we have to hide everything? Are you the jealous type?" Pierre asked Elliot.

"Um. No?" asked a confused Elliot.

"Good!" said Pierre. "I'll get the cake!"

"But Pierre!" Julia yelled.

"What's the problem?" Elliot asked.

Then Pierre got from the other room, a tray on wheels.

And a cake.

Then Elliot saw, "'For Julia and Pierre'!'" written on top of the cake!

"I knew you liked Pierre better than me!" Elliot said as he ran out the door.

"ELLIOT!" Julia yelled.

"Let him go," said Pierre. "He needs to calm down."

So, Julia watched Elliot leave.

Elliot ran inside his house. He saw his mother and grandfather, but not Natalie, so he figured she was still out working.

Elliot layed in his bed. Then Felicia walked in.

"Something wrong?" Taro asked in concern.

"Julia loves Pierre!" Elliot blurted out. "Not me."

"I didn't know you felt that way about her?" Felicia wondered aloud.

"Well, yes!" Elliot said.

"Well, I think that I know a few people who may help," Felicia said.

Then, Mirabelle, Pierre and, of course, Julia, walked in.

"I apologize for the confusion!" said Mirabelle.

"I apologize for not being very helpful," said Pierre.

"I apologize for not telling you my true feelings before we gave you the cake!" said Julia.

"The c-cake was for-?" Elliot asked.

"It was for you!" said Julia.

"I don't understand!" said Elliot.

"I love you, Elliot!" Julia said as she embraced him.

"I love you, too!" said Elliot. She embraced him, too.

"But why did you bake a cake saying it was for you two?" he asked.

"Because the frosting got messed up!" said Julia. "It was supposed to say it was from us! I got help from Pierre because I'm a bad cook!"

Elliot smiled. "Well, I'm glad we cleared that up!"

So, now that the matter was settled, the two were married! And they were extra careful with special decisions from then on.
