The cool air came in through the window of Avails room. She was watching mike baby proof the balcony, he wanted to make sure the baby wouldn't catch a sun burn out there. He was putting up a screen from the top of the roof on the balcony. He was concentrated on the task, the screen was framed and he connected the corners last. When he was done, Avrail went over to lounge with him on the chaise he was near. They were going to rearrange their room for the baby's stuff next, Avrail wanted to keep the baby in their room for his first year. Mike had left a little corner for the baby's dresser and bed when he was done. She thought it was just how she imagined it would be. When he lay'd on the bed, Avrail followed him. She started a kiss, and wanted to test their new arrangements, when their shirts were on the floor Avrail thought the room was looking better by the minute. She giggled beneath him, a big proportion of the time as he teased her about how perfect every square inch needed to be.
The next day they went into the sporting store for Mikes shift. Mike and Avrail were rearranging a few shelves for the large supply drop off, that came in while they were home. A customer came in looking for a pair of binoculars, she also had news about the trail and the hikers that traveled through there. The lady told Avrail that there were large holes in the forest rocky trial and a large animal must have dug them. She didn't know why they would dig at that place in the woods. The lady had almost fell in a hole that was dug, but her companion noticed it before she did. Avrail said she hoped she had a better hike today. Mike said he was taking a break after she left, and asked Avrail if she wanted a drink from the back. Avrail said she did, and followed Mike to the break room.
Avrail and Mike were at the Forks dinner, when a women came in and asked if anyone seen her son. The lady had a flyer with her and she passed them around the dinner. It was the same man from the store video camera's that was involved in that child's kidnapping. The lady's paper said she hadn't seen her son since his dealings with a new group of people. Avrail thought it strange that New groups of people were becoming more dangerous. No one in the dinner answered yes to the question and the lady left soon after. Avrail turned to Mike and asked if her recognized the man, he said he did. Mike then told Avrail that later the day of the incident Sam and the others had caught up to him, so he wasn't around anymore.
It was getting dark outside when Mike and Avrail got home. They decided to watch a romance movie. Avrail was cuddled into Mikes side, when the lady on the TV demanded to have a ring for a engagement. The man was bullied into marrying the woman, and they had a rough start but it worked out. Avrail thought it was nice that the women got her commitment. She and Mike went to bed after the movie, ready to be snuggled in their cozy new space.
