Chapter 4: Vlad Plasmius
Vlad watched as the heroes rushed into his throne room.
Vlad: (Impressed tone) So Daniel, you and your friends actually escaped the Ghost Zone Prison, defeated my forces in town, snuck into my palace and shut down my portal, catching me completely off guard… (Clapping) Bravo.
Danny: Give it up, Vlad! You've lost your powers and Amity Park is saved.
Vlad: You underestimate me, Danny. With the help of the Syndicate, I'll soon be back in control of Amity Park. Besides, we've already harnessed enough ghost energy for our device.
Danny and his friends caught what Vlad said.
Danny: "Our device"? The Syndicate is building something?
Vlad: Yes, and very soon you will all bow to the might of the Syndicate.
Danny: It doesn't matter what you're planning. My friends and I are going to stop you.
Vlad: Aw, but what about your parents, Danny? Would you actually risk their innocent lives?
Danny seethed with anger.
Danny: I'm not going to stand around and let them use them as puppets! Besides, without your guards to help you, it's five against one!
Vlad smirked and immediately made duplicates of himself.
Jimmy: Did you know he can do that?
Danny: (Frustrated) He likes rubbing it in my face.
Four of them tackled Danny's friends, went intangible, and went through the walls and floor.
Vlad: Now it's one against one.
Timmy went into the dining room and dropped him to the ground.
Timmy: (Falling) I wish my shoes had trampoline springs!
Timmy's fairies granted his wish with their limited magic and Timmy started bouncing around safely. The Clone started trying to blast Timmy.
Timmy: (Dodging) I can't shoot him with my Star Blasters like this.
Cosmo: Don't you still have Heat Vision?
Timmy tested to see if that old wish was still working. His eyes glowed and he blasted the clone to the wall.
Wanda: (Looking at her husband) That's a yes.
The Clone got up and flew towards Timmy. Timmy grabbed his Star Blaster and fired at the Clone. The used an ecto-shield to defend but inadvertently redirected a shot to the chandelier above him and broke a chain. The Clone flew towards Timmy, but the chandelier broke and slammed into the wall, turning him into ectoplasm. Out on the balcony, Michelangelo struggling with his Vlad Clone.
Michelangelo: (Spinning his nunchucks) Come on!
The Clone fired ecto-blasts at Michelangelo but he blocked them with his nunchucks. Michelangelo jumped up to the Clone and unleashed his martial arts moves on the Clone. Even though the Clones had the original's powers and knowledge, Vlad had no martial arts skills which meant Michelangelo had the advantage.
Michelangelo: (Throwing a kick) Knock-out!
Michelangelo kicked the Clone square in the stomach and sent him slamming right into the wall. In the water ways below the castle, SpongeBob's Vlad Clone was struggling to fight SpongeBob in his element. In the water, SpongeBob kept jumping out of the water and attacking the Clone.
SpongeBob: Having trouble with my Ka-Ra-Tay?
The Clone lunged at SpongeBob, but he jumped over him and blew a bubble bomb. SpongeBob ran back inside as the bomb exploded. Jimmy was using his intelligence to fight his Vlad Clone.
Jimmy: (Secretly pulling out his shrink ray) Guess Vlad couldn't copy his intelligent with you guys.
The Clone frustratingly lunge at Jimmy, only to fall for Jimmy's trap and get shrunken to the size of a fly. Jimmy swatted the Clone away. Everyone raced back to the throne room and found Danny & Vlad fighting each other. Danny fired an ecto-blast but Vlad threw up a ecto-shield to protect himself. Timmy aimed a Star Blaster at Vlad and shot him. He was so stunned; it allowed Jimmy to rush him and hit him with his Tornado Blaster. Michelangelo and SpongeBob jump kicked Vlad to the ground.
Danny: You know, Vlad, you may have more experience and training with your powers than me… But I have two things that you'll never have. The first one is my friends.
Vlad: (Deciding to humor Danny) And the second thing?
Danny smirk and used his Ghostly Wail scream on Vlad and blasted him to the wall.
Danny: Like it? I call it my Ghostly Wail.
Vlad got up, exhausted and defeated.
Vlad: I don't believe it.
Danny: Believe it, Vlad. You lost.
Vlad hit a remote that released Danny's parents.
Vlad: I may have lost for now, but the Syndicate aren't defeated yet. (As an escape portal opened beside him) This is far from over, Daniel. Far, far from over!
Before the heroes could grab him, Vlad escaped and the portal closed.
SpongeBob: That mean old blob escaped!
Timmy: (As Danny's parents started waking up) At least Danny's parents are okay.
Danny: (Sighing) That's a relief. Okay, let's get out of here before they notice us.
Jimmy: I was hoping to ask them about their Ghost-Hunting technology.
Michelangelo: Probably not a good idea with Danny here.
Danny: Mikey's right. They've given me plenty of reasons not to get them Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts. Besides, Amity Park is saved and we have other worlds to save.
Jimmy knew they were right and remotely activated his Universe Portal Machine. Everyone left, knowing they had to stop the Syndicate.
