Hanukkah In Full Swing
Alan went downstairs to the lounge to find Riku and Mimi playing with Riku's dreidel set and they were playing for chocolate gelt coins.
The Akiyama family's menorah was sitting on the mantelpiece of the fireplace waiting to be lit.
"Looks like I'm winning all of your chocolate coins!" Mimi said to Riku.
"You're getting good at this, Mimi." Riku commented.
"No chocolate coins right now, you two." Alan said to Mimi and Riku as Nancy came downstairs.
"Why not, Alan?" Mimi asked.
Suddenly, Mimi, Nancy, Riku, and Alan all heard the sound of Sam ringing the dinner bell.
"Dinner is ready!" Sam called.
"That's why not." Alan said.
After dinner was over, everyone met in the lounge while Kisa lit the first candle of the menorah and Hiro handed out one gift to each of his children.
"One measly gift," Mimi asked. "don't your mom and pop love you?"
"Mimi! That was rude!" Suzie scolded sharply.
"Sorry, sincerely sorry." Mimi said.
"Quite all right," Riku translated for his mother. "no harm done."
"Actually, Hanukkah is an eight day long celebration," Anne explained to Mimi. "so my two brothers and I get one gift per day."
