AN: I gotta warn yall, this chapter contains very disturbing topics related to drugging, so if you're not really into this stuff, avoid reading the segment in italics.
Out in the clearing, Crimson lets out a pained grunt whilst trying to walk. Due to the snubbull's impressive bite force, it did lead his leg entirely sore and unable to move properly. Maria's throat however suffered worse, but thankfully she managed to get her air supply back to normal again before things had gotten worse. The mandibuzz however hasn't suffered anything else for now even after waking up from her unconsciousness. Her head still rang, but thankfully it wasn't as bad as last time they both fought each other off.
They were all several feet away from Zyma Town, but Crimson wasn't there to give up entirely. He still needed that sneasel back to the clan. The albino sneasel sat down on a nearby boulder and placed a claw where the fairy-type had physically assaulted his leg while trying to fight. Despite their type advantage, Crimson still had managed to nearly knock out the bulldog, and he was more than happy to find her weak.
Staring directly into the outskirts of the town where Team Blytz was currently resting at, Crimson's smile grew deviously wider, and another plan crossed his mind. "Say, how about we just stay here for a little while and see if we can snatch that sneasel away from them again?"
The mandibuzz's crooked smile quickly sank at that suggestion. "B-But, Crimson," She began. "What if Oakley finds out?"
"The team might be resting right now, so there's no point in starting fights with them." Crimson responded back. "Besides, our hope isn't lost yet, and we need to bring Vivian back no matter what!"
"But, how are we going to do that, boss?" Maria asked, and the albino sneasel's grin grew wider. He would pull out his clan-made fanny pack and rummage through the bundle for a quick moment before pulling out what the two minions hadn't expected until now. It had appeared to be a small flower petal, and the girls thought it was just a simple blossom petal at first, but turns out it wasn't just from the cherry blossom trees they have encountered in the past. This petal in particular is much bigger than other cherry blossoms, and it appeared to have a blue-ish hue all around it - followed by a few red stripes around it.
"This, girls," Crimson started as he pushed the blossom petal closer to his minions. "Is a hazedrift petal."
Maria couldn't help but stare in awe at the rare petal Crimson was holding, but she quickly shook it off and snapped out of her thoughts. "But what does it do?"
"You may ask what it does," Crimson gave himself a devious chuckle. "It's not meant to be eaten raw," However his smile quickly sank into a frown. "However when dissolved into water, it's edible - like Pecha and Oran combined altogether - and when consumed, it'll make a certain someone pass out quick in a flash!"
"But can you show-"
"Not at this moment, Clara." Crimson cut the mandibuzz off as he stored the petal back into his leather bag. "I cannot show you what it does, however a certain someone wouldn't know what it'll taste like.."
Maria's smile grew even wider. "And who's the target-"
"Vivian.." Crimson let out a devious, yet evil chuckle. "While it is clear she'll come back alive, but she wouldn't be seeing help after all.."
Finally, despite the pain in his leg, Crimson sat up and quickly jumped onto the liepard's back. Letting out a proud meow from herself, the big cat pokemon soon led both Crimson and Clara back into the outskirts of Zyma Town, knowing Vivian wouldn't be safe out there after all.
No Mercy..
Penny slowly opened her eyes to what appeared to be a blue-ish, white room in front of her, but as her vision cleared, the room appeared to be more of a sky blue color than what her vision had during her slumber. She gave herself a pained groan, grabbing the boltund's attention.
"Penny!" Oakley would slowly walk towards the shiny snubbull, careful not to tackle her. "You're okay!"
"I-I know, but.." The shiny dog would remain silent for a few seconds before speaking once more. "W-Where am I right now?"
"You're at an explorer post, Penny." Oakley responded. "And both Vivian and Adir are here too."
Penny was more than relieved to find both her friends had been found safe, but what she was worried about the most is the sneasel's current state. During the fight with Crimson, she heard him say that he was going to take the sneasel girl away from the team's grasp, and not just their grasp, the albino's grasp as well.
"W-What if Crimson comes back-"
"Penny, Crimson isn't going to come back, I promise." Oakley cooed softly. "We're not here to start kicking any more sneasel rear at this given moment."
Vivian's smile quickly sank into a confused frown, but her smile came back once again after fully understanding what the boltund had explained to the fairy dog in front of her. Slowly approaching to the shiny snubbull on the bed, Vivian kneeled down and placed a claw onto the soft mattress, waiting for Penny to say something.
"How are you feeling right now?" Vivian asked. "Good? Great?"
"Not entirely good," The snubbull groaned softly. "But not too bad after all.."
"At least you're okay now," Vivian replied softly. "I'm sure you'll have some back pain after that impact earlier, but you'll be fine, will you?"
Penny thought about it for a moment. Her back wasn't in any pain as she thought it would, and with as much rest as needed, it appears that the snubbull's "injury" had somewhat healed.
"I might make it through the day, but my back's gonna be sore for a day or two." Penny growled as she got up. "Do I still need rest or am I good enough?"
"Is your back still in pain?" Vivian asked, and Penny nodded in response while doing a "No" gesture. "I guess you'll make it through the day. I'm sure there's a lot of things to do!"
"But does this post have some back relievers here?" The bulldog asked, but Vivian nodded in another "No" gesture. "Great, is there anything else that could-"
"I heard there's an onsen fit for most fire-types, but it allows everyone else here too!" Vivian would walk towards the bookshelf and grab a book with the purple cover attached to it. It read,Things to Do in Zyma Town.Vivian went back towards Penny's spot and opened the page to where the onsen was about. "It's a medical spa that was supposed to be fit for fire-types, but it also allows any other pokemon like us too!"
Adir slowly got up out of his spot. "Pretty sure I'm getting cold anyway," The shiny tyrogue could feel his muscles grow slightly sore upon rising up. "And my limbs are gettin' really sore too at this point."
"Maybe you should've brought a jacket.." Penny growled, but the others didn't dare to scowl at the fairy-type. Perhaps they're just too relaxed to do so. "Or a coat even."
"I'm sure the onsen has heated pools there, so it should be alright." Vivian spoke as she closed the book and stored it back into the bookshelf. "I've heard fire-types work here too, and surprisingly enough they didn't even pass out while on the job!"
"H-How can a fire-type not pass out whilst working in a heated onsen all-day?" Penny shook, her eyes going wide as saucers. "A-And how can a fire-type just not get heat exhaustion!?"
"Well, most fire-types don't get heat-related illnesses, which is surprising." Oakley explained as she sat down next to the small snubbull. "However some can actually get either a heat-stroke or heat exhaustion if one of them is a dual-type or not dealt with sooner."
Vivian pondered for a moment. She is an ice-type after all, but she wouldn't be able to handle the heat in long periods of time - let alone all-day and all-night. "I mean, we've gotta do something, but we gotta split up.."
"I'll go with Penny." Adir soon got out of his spot and gently snatched the snubbull in his arm. Despite being an amputee, he still was able to carry such a heavy snubbull no matter how tall the tyrogue is. "Pretty sure you two should be fine all by yourselves, are you?"
Oakley pondered for a moment. Was she really going to roam across town with a sneasel altogether? Growing a smile on her muzzle, "Vivian's coming with me." The boltund soon led Vivian over to the exit of the bedroom. "You two should be fine as long as you don't pass out.."
"Oakley, we'll be out there when we're out there." Adir snapped back, but the canine didn't bother to flinch. "And we're not going to pass out, we promise."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, we're really sure.." Adir then gave Oakley a thumbs-up gesture before departing, leaving both the sneasel and the boltund all by themselves for a quick seconds.
Shrugging, the canine then coaxed Vivian outside the explorer post, hoping her sneasel friend would safely roam across the outskirts of Zyma town.
Are you sure we're in the right place?
The liepard poked her head behind a small building, looking around to make sure nobody had caught her. Out in the outskirts of Zyma Town, Crimson and his minions were seen hiding behind a small, wooden building, hoping nobody would notice them in the act.
"We'll be fine, Maria." Crimson spoke to his minion. "I'm sure nobody will notice us right away."
Out in the clearing, a Nidorina can be seen coaxing her Noibat friend over to the nearest explorer post. Right by the stage, a Hawlucha, a Pidgeot, and a Tranquill can all be seen coaxing themselves over to where a stage performance is about to start at any given moment. At the cafe, there were two pokemon seen sitting next to each other, chatting away while they ate - a shiny Azumarill and a Pikachu wearing a red scarf wrapped around its neck.
Crimson didn't seem very interested in Pikachus that much, even after remembering he was once defeated by another electric type known as a Raichu. He instantly surrendered on himself and ran off, leaving the Raichu all proud of herself and laughing, knowing well the fight would be too easy after all. Her name was Elektra, and she wouldn't hesitate to fight off any smaller sneasels like him.
Shuddering at that thought, his eyes narrow back at the sushi restaurant. A Kantonian Vupix can be seen departing its way out of the building, and it was sporting what appeared to be a blue scarf wrapped around its neck. Next was a shiny Yamper, then last a Poochyena. He didn't seem to be very interested in that poochyena after all, but what he was focusing the most on was Vivian - that sneasel that turned into an explorer.
"There's no Vivian anywhere!" Crimson's frown sank wider as he threw his claws around. "No matter where we looked, we still couldn't find her!"
Maria gave herself a chance to look around for a moment. Despite being a dark type, she was more than worried about actually being kicked out if the mayor finds her and the team looking for trouble. After a quick second, the liepard comes back with a grin on her face.
"Crimson! We found her!"
The albino sneasel stopped dead in his tracks as he heard what the big cat had said to him. "W-Where is she right now?"
"She's right by the smoothie stand."
Meanwhile, Oakley was seen coaxing her sneasel friend by the smoothie bar where a spinda can be seen working its way to impress the customers. The boltund was the first to sit down, and Vivian was next. Her eyes gazed upon the menu that stood in all of its written and colorful glory. Drawings of pokemon berries can be seen on the menu below, but the boltund however was more interested in buying something else for her special sneasel friend instead.
"Hello, hello!" Said the red spinda as it spinned its way over to where the two pokemon were sitting. "Welcome, welcome! Can I get you two a glass? Perhaps something special?"
The boltund took her time in looking at the menu, before finally saying what she was going to have on this particular moment. "I think I'll have one of those Cheri smoothies you make."
The spinda happily wrote down what the boltund had ordered, and it waited for Vivian to go next.
"I'll take the Oran juice please,"
And soon the spinda wrote down Vivian's order and made its way back to the kitchen, happily preparing the juice glasses out in the clearing. Vivian stared directly into the spinda's happy movements, but soon narrowed her eyes back at Oakley.
"Oakley, do you ever think Zyma Town might not be the safest town possible?" The sneasel asked. "I-I've heard there's like thieves around here-"
"The thieves would instantly get thrown to prison if the guards ever catch them doing that." Oakley responded. "What makes you say that?"
"Well, it's just that if everyone else finds me as a sneasel, they would think I'm causing trouble." The sneasel sighed sadly. "They would think I'm causing so much trouble in towns-"
"Vivian, you do realize you're not apart of trouble." Oakley cut the sneasel off before Vivian could finish speaking. "Sneasels like Crimson aretrouble, and you're the first and only sneasel I've seen to not actually act like a criminal like others." The sneasel raised her head and tears started to flow from her eyes. "But as a team, not only were doing this as explorers, but were doing this to keep you safe and sound."
"So..Team Blytz wouldn't be that without a sneasel?"
Oakley nodded her head.
"Team Blytz wouldn't be complete without a sneasel around."
"One Oran juice for the sneasel," Soon Vivian stopped dead in her tracks and smiled as she watched the spinda bartender return with the oran juice glass in its hand. Sliding it towards the sneasel, the spinning panda pokemon approached Oakley and slid the glass towards her shortly after. "And one Cheri smoothie for a special leader like you!"
Oakley couldn't help but blush at that compliment. Vivian chuckled and as she took a sip of the oran-mixed berry juice in front of her, the fresh flavor of citrus, combined with blueberries and edible medicine invaded her taste buds, making the sneasel's eyes grow wide and chug down the entire glass. This shocked Oakley too much, but she was overall happy to see her beloved dark-type friend become the happiest sneasel around town once again.
"T-THIS IS AMAZING!" Vivian chirped as she slammed the glass right in front of the spinda, making the pokemon flinch upon impact. "I need another!"
Oakley opened her muzzle to talk, but hesitated to do so. She suddenly remembered as long as the sneasel is safe with her, the dark-and-ice type is free to do whatever she wants as long as she doesn't cause any trouble.
The spinda bartender happily snatches Vivian's glass away and returns to the kitchen to prepare another order. Oakley starts to look around, and a mixture of happy chatters and music erupted across the city. It wasn't something the boltund had expected, but she was happy nonetheless. With the spinda still distracted on Vivian's order, the botuld shifted off her seat and landed on all fours, grabbing the sneasel's attention.
"I'm going to be on watch to make sure nobody captures you." This worried Vivian regardless, and she wanted to go with her, but she didn't want to leave like a thief, so she had no choice but to stay alone. "I'll come back and pay for the drinks shortly after."
Vivian nodded her head and soon Oakley left. She hadn't disappeared into the clearing yet, but it made the sneasel stare directly into the canine's own figure as she walked around far away from where she sat down. It was slightly foggy, but thanks to Vivian's excellent eyesight, she was able to see her boltund friend far, far away from her.
Meanwhile, Crimson and his minions were seen hiding behind a mudsdale carriage just a few meters away. The mandibuzz was already eyeing the spinda, distracting itself as it continued preparing the oran juice for Vivian. Letting out a cackled squawk, Carla pokes the albino sneasel by his shoulder to grab his attention.
"You got the petal ready?" Carla asked, and Crimson nodded his head solemnly in response. "Good. Vivian is going to fall for this right in a flash!"
"Now, now, Carla-" The albino sneasel shushed her as the spinda stopped its movements. At first the panda thought there were intruders in the space, but it suddenly realized the juicer wasn't crushing the berries properly. It stopped and soon the spinda proceeded to repair the machine in a flash. This gave Crimson a relieved sigh, thankful he doesn't have to deal with the other pokemon letting out it's warning shout.
Maria however quickly hid herself in a flash as she eyed the same boltund she fought off. It was Oakley, and she was returning to the juice bar with a bundle bag in her hand. Now it was a miracle she had brought a few extra coins to pay for the drink she and Vivian had ordered, but she wondered how much it costs.
Crimson opened his mouth to ask why the liepard was hiding, but soon the answer would be revealed before he could get a word out. As he eyed the boltund, he hid in a flash, causing the mandibuzz to do the same shortly after.
"You're so lucky, Crimson.." The liepard spat. "SO..LUCKY.."
"Calm down, you.." The albino sneasel snapped back. "Oakley might turn us into toast if she finds us.." The sneasel hurriedly pulled out the same blossom petal he had talked about - Hazedrift. The same blossom petal that would make everyone go to sleep in a flash if consumed. "This flower might make that other sneasel sleepy if she ever takes one taste of that thing.."
"So that means-" Carla began. "Vivian takes one sip of the mixture," In her mind, she would picture a drawn figure of Crimson - known leader of his team, dropping the blossom petal into the other sneasel's drink whilst not looking, and once the albino sneasel instantly takes his leave, the purple-ish sneasel goes back to her drink glass and takes a sip. The blue oran drink Vivian was consuming had more of a suspiciously-purple hue, but she cared less. Right as the sneasel finished drinking, she noticed a bitter aftertatse, but right as she was about to get a word out, the drawn-sneasel immediately collapsed onto the ground, snoring. "Then she'll pass out like no tomorrow!"
Crimson stared deeply into the boltund's figure as he watched her pour out a few coins to pay for both orders. The spinda didn't bother snatching them away, but it was more then welcome to bring them over to its funds once the other pokemon made their leave.
"I'll be right back, Vivian.."
And soon, the spinda happily snatches the coins away. With Vivian now distracted and alone - keeping an eye on the boltund's figure to make sure she doesn't get lost, the albino sneasel deviously chuckles and pokes his head out of the horse carriage.
"Now's my time.." Crimson chuckled evilly, but immediately jolted out of his spot as a loud, deep whinny echoed across the room. The albino sneasel takes a fall, and instantly gets up as he eyes what looked like a mudsdale, scowling at the white dark-type.
"Are ya' just gonna ride or not!?" The mudsdale sounded southern and masculine, but Crimson wasn't here for arguments. Chuckling nervously, the albino sneasel quickly coaxed his minions away from the horse carriage, causing the mudsdale to let out an irritated sigh and move the cart around. "Morons.."
"Just my luck.." Crimson growled as the horse disappeared into the distance. Thankfully Vivian hasn't noticed the mudsdales movements yet, but what she was worried about the most was Oakley. Despite her excellent eyesight, it appears that the boltund was now making her way over to the berry farm, making sure no thieves had broken in.
Ordering his minions to stay where they are at, Crimson carefully makes his way over to Spinda's juice bar, careful not to grab anyone's attention. With the spinda still distracted, the albino sneasel waves a claw at the rabbit-panda hybrid and soon it stopped spinning.
"What'cha need-" The spinda then noticed the sneasel was a lot different than other sneasels. He had white fur all over himself, and he was sporting two ruby crystals both on his forehead and chest fluff. He sported small scars across his ear, and he had sparkling, golden eyes that would impress the hybrid even further. "Ohhoh! That's something I've never seen before!"
Vivian snapped out of her thoughts and narrowed her eyes over to the spinda, now talking to Crimson. "O-Oh no.." She muttered, but she was careful not to grab the other's attention. Turning her head away from the hybrids next to her, she kept her eyes focused on other pokemon villagers roaming across the city.
"No worries! I'll get you what you wanted, my dear sir!" And soon the hybrid makes his way over to the kitchen to hurriedly prepare the drink for what was supposed to be for Crimson at first glance. Vivian kept her eyes away from both the spinda and Crimson as she focused on what looked like a snow-white, Alolan Vulpix in view. Shortly after, the hybrid finishes preparing the drink and slid it over to Crimson.
While the hybrid was distracted, the albino sneasel gave himself a chuckle and pulled out the petal from his leather bag. Looking around to make sure nobody notices, the sneasel quickly drops the flower petal onto the surface of the oran drink, causing it to instantly dissolve upon impact. It smelled of fresh cherries and citrus, but he wasn't focusing on that either.
Shortly after, the spinda cleared its throat. Vivian snapped out of her thoughts and quickly turned to the panda hybrid, now sporting a confuzzled look. I-Is there something wrong,-"
"It appears that some pokemon have ordered you a drink." The spinda cleared its throat and she narrowed her eyes down at what was supposed to be an oran berry drink she had consumed earlier, but this one in particular had more of a purple hue than the regular glass.
"What's wrong about-" Before Vivian could finish her sentence despite the spinda's confuzzled look, she then narrowed her eyes over to that same sneasel Oakley had fought off. It was Crimson, and he was already sitting just a few meters away from Vivian. Her heart started to race out of fear, but shook it off and took a deep breath, fighting off her fear of meeting other sneasels. The albino grew a smile on his face, but Vivian quickly turned and peered away. "G-Great, another sneasel.."
"W-Well, thanks for the drink," Vivian muttered, still keeping her head away from the albino pokemon next to her. "But, I already had a few too many."
"There's no such thing as far too many, Viv."How in Shaymin's name does he know me?"And surely there's no harm in exchanging consumables the spinda had made for us."
"U-Us?" Vivian asked in a worried tone. "B-But-"
"All I require was a little information about yourself - especially sneasels like you." He then slid the drink towards Vivian. "I supposed you're...the clan member of Griff.
Vivian's heart raced sporadically at the mention of her weavile leader, but instantly shook it off and attempted to fight down her fear. "Y-Yes, I am. And you're..an albino sneasel, right?" She faked a smile on her muzzle.
"Why, of course?" Crimson chuckled heartily. "I'm one in a million sneasels to be born different."
Vivian was faking to be impressed, but what she was worried about is Oakley. She wanted to grab help, but it appears the boltund is now too far away, and if she ever attempted to move out of her seat, the sneasel would, in a flash, catch her instead. Vivian had no choice but to remain frozen in her seat as a result.
"There's only a few differently-colored sneasels like me, but a little favor is all I require." Vivian's heart raced even more, and her entire body trembled in fear. "If you do one thing-"
"Y-Yeah, well.. I do have some.. "th-thievery" to do.." Vivian lied as she quickly took a sip of her glass. It tasted slightly bitter when it invaded her taste buds, but she was too terrified to notice the taste. "I-I'm..a dark-type after all."
This gave Crimson a hearty laugh, but he still wouldn't believe what the other pokemon was saying. "I couldn't tell if you're a thief or not.." Vivian soon took another sip of her glass, but this time in very big gulps. Her arms started to tremble and grow heavy, not because she was frightened, but she was now starting to feel the effects not realizing what it looked like. "However if you're lying-"
"I-I'm.. I'm not!" Vivian grumbled. "I-I'm..a sneasel..after all."
Crimson could notice the sneasel girl's slurred speech, and he grew a wicked smile on his muzzle, knowing his plan was working after all. Right after Vivian had finished the glass, she could feel her entire body grow cold and heavy.
"Wonderful. A little information is all I ask for, but something more would help after all.." Crimson chuckled wickedly as he watched the sneasel stumble slightly. In a flash, Crimson quickly grabs ahold of Vivian just mere seconds before she collapses out of her seat. "No worries, dear Vivian. Let's take you somewhere safer.." Crimson wasn't going to take her back to the explorer post after all. Growing a wicked smile on his muzzle, he takes the sneasel girl over to where both the liepard and the mandibuzz are hiding.
"Did you get her?" The liepard asked, and Crimson nodded his head, knowing well his plan had worked out the way he hoped for. "Alright, now-"
"Do you really think I'm stupid enough to actually do something to her?" Crimson gave the liepard a scowl, but she didn't dare to flinch. "I'm taking her back to the clan in a more..safer way.."
He then turned back at the sneasel girl, now struggling to move her limbs at any given moment. "Just make sure you get enough rest, sleeping beauty.." The albino sneasel then gave Vivian a scowl. "You tell anyone about this, I'm certain Team Blytz will lose a member - that includes you of course.."
"C-Crimshoon..I-I dun' feel so..-"
And right as Vivian was about to finish talking, everything grew dark.
"Clara, bring her back to the Bramblewisp tribe." Clara nodded in response and grabbed the small sneasel by her talons. "I'm sure the boss wouldn't like it when he hears about this."
Crimson then jumped right onto Maria's back. Letting out a loud meow of triumph, he and his minions soon disappeared into the clearing, leaving Team Blytz without a certain sneasel.
Meanwhile, both Adir and Penny made their way out of the onsen, one's fur slightly damp from the lack of drying, but the bulldog cared little. She was more focused on checking up on Oakley and her friend rather than the lack of care.
"Do you really think Vivian's gonna be okay roaming across town all by herself?" Adir asked.
"As far as I know, Oakley's trying to keep her safe." Penny responded. "She's just keeping the sneasel by her side for now-"
Right as she was about to finish speaking, a loud, terrified scream rang across the city, causing both the tyrogue and snubbull to flinch out of shock. Adir wondered where the screaming was coming from, but as soon as he opened his mouth to talk, the answer would finally be revealed before he could get a word out.
"V-VIVIAN'S CAPTURED!"
Adir and Penny's eyes both shrank out of shock. "W-WHAT!?"
"I-I WAS JUST ON WATCH TO MAKE SURE THERE'S NO THIEVES AROUND, A-AND.." Oakley took a moment to catch her breath. "I FOUND THESE BASTARDS TAKE VIVIAN AWAY!"
Penny gave Oakley a scowl, but the boltund was too frightened to flinch. "WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST KEEP AN EYE ON HER!?"
"Penny- Not now!" Adir instantly shushed the snubbull with his free hand. "Oakley's just making sure she's safe!" He then narrowed his eyes towards Oakley. "H-How did you even know the other team took Vivian away-"
"I saw what looked like that same mandibuzz from earlier." Oakley started. "What I heard was-"
"WAIT! CRIMSON AND HIS TEAM!" Adir immediately recognized who Crimson and his henchmen-no, henchwomen were right before Oakley could finish speaking. "We fought them off, remember?"
Oakley nodded in response. "F-From what I heard was, I believe Crimson ordered the mandibuzz to take her back to where Griff is residing-"
"I think I know who's going to take us without spending all night walking on sore feet." Oakley had expected the shiny tyrogue to deny what she was talking about, but she started to wonder who it would be.
A shadow started to loom across the team, and right as Oakley opened to her mouth to ask who it was, a particular pokemon was soon revealed before she could get a word out. It appeared to be a large, looming Noivern, out in the open outskirts of Zyma Town, staring directly into the boltund's eyes. It waited for the boltund to say anything, but Oakley appeared to be too shocked to speak.
"This right here is one of our guards." Adir grew a determined smile on his face. "I once heard of Noiverns when I was very young, but never in my life have I ever rode one before." He then turned towards the wyvern bat pokemon, staring deeply into the tyrogue's eyes. "He's one of our guards and he can track down who once captured others."
Penny slowly approached the dragon bat. "Mr. Noivern, can you take us back to the Bramblewisp border?" And soon, the dragon bat immediately recognized where the border once stood - just several miles away from Stone Town. "It's a few miles away from Stone Town - our old home, and we need your help bringing Vivian back."
The dragon bat nodded in a "Yes" gesture and coaxed the snubbull to ride on his back. Doing as she was told, the snubbull carefully climbs onto the noivern's wings before sitting down on his back. She was worried she would fall, but she suddenly remembered there were reins attached to the dragon's head. Carefully grabbing onto each rope, Adir climbed his way over to where the dog was sitting.
"Oakley, you're gonna have to let this guy grab onto you with his talons." Oakley wasn't sure what he meant, but right as the dragon started flapping his wings, she instantly knew what the creature was going to do. She felt slight pain blossom her entire body, but the noivern himself was trying to be more careful not to crush her or drop her on the way back. Holding the boltund as tight as he could, "Alright, Noivern! Take us to the Bramblewisp border!" The noivern lets out a determined screech and soon swoops his way from the outskirts of Zyma Town.
According to noiverns like the guard Oakley and her teammates were riding on, this guard in particular is very intelligent and can quickly remember the same exact location Adir had told him to go to. Noiverns like him are very fast in flight-mode, and flying dragons like him are a lot faster than walking let alone. However the mandibuzz was more speedy than dragons like him, but he wouldn't hesitate to bring Vivian back no matter what while in-flight.
Oakley soon started to pray, hoping Vivian would be found safe and sound. However the wind did nothing to muffle her hopes and dreams.
