Chapter 2: The Bash on the Beach

Indrah Prashmet got escorted to Brutal Island on a boat by some staff members, she braced herself for whatever tough challenges awaited her. The island came into view, clenching her fist she spotted another combatant who just arrived on the beach, in a meditative trance; a cheetah wearing some pants and a coolie hat. This was Tai Cheetah, who came to see if his protegee a coyote named Kendo Coyote had improved in mindset despite his martial talent, even though he was already content with his life, having a family of his own. His pupil walked the path of greed, and he had a duty to get him back on the right path in life.

Indrah, now known as Foxy Roxy jumped off the boat and eyed her first opponent. The cheetah opened his eyes glanced back at her with both fire and calmness, anticipating a swift bout he stood up and got into fighting stance. Roxy got into stance the same time he did, never taking their eyes off one another.

"I have no idea why you are here, my beautiful one, but whatever the case, you've got to get through me to get that Belt of Heaven!" Tai exclaimed.

"Lots of orphaned children depend on me, humble one, let's see what you've got!"

Without any other words, the two commenced the fight, the swifter Tai charged at her with a trail of flame behind him, but Foxy put up her arms in criss-cross blocking the blow, then countered with a high kick to the head, knocking Tai backwards onto the floor. Foxy then jumped towards him and attempted to kick him again, but Tai got out of the way and threw a fist, which connected to her stomach, stunning her for a bit. Foxy then thrust her tightened fingers out and jabbed Tai in the head, and then delivered a low kick knocking Tai down again. Tai got up and delivered a low kick in return, knocking down Foxy, and then threw another punch which connected to Foxy's stomach again as soon as she got up. Foxy kicked up high again knocking back Tai, and then jumped forward delivering a downward finger jab, which knocked out Tai.

The fight over, Foxy spun around on one foot and then opened her arms wide and then smiled at her victory, it was a good fight, a nice warm-up for what was up ahead. Tai began to stir from his defeat, he was hoping to start his journey and catch up to his pupil, but now it was all for not. Foxy noticed his depression and stepped forward.

"Are you alright, it was a good fight, but something must be troubling you…." Foxy asked with concern.

"I agree it was a good fight…" Tai replied with stoicism, his head was lowered, his face was covered by his hat. "But my defeat has cost me my pupil…..oh well, I guess it was destiny…." He then looked at Foxy. "You've got potential to win, young lady, all I can say is good luck…..win this tournament for those orphans…." He then walked towards the boat with some staff waiting for him.

Tai Cheetah knelt down on the boat and prepared himself for the journey home. It would be good to see his family again. He won many things but he lost both the tournament and his pupil.

Foxy, both with determination and regret then looked ahead on the path and prepared herself for another challenge. She took some hits, but they will heal little by little over time.
