Chapter 3: The Fight at the Waterfall

Foxy walked along the path from the beach over to the next area, a scenic, beautiful waterfall. It was a beautiful waterfall that got divided into two by a huge rock, in a lush forest area. At the other end where the sight of the falls ended, was Foxy's next opponent, a Rat wearing nothing but shorts his hands and feet were wrapped up in straps. This was Rhei Rat, a ruthless, quiet individual who only fought for glory, in the deadly art of Muay Thai. He was one who despised fools, always thought of himself, and whenever he won, he would just simply leave the arena never once paying any attention to the crowds.

Foxy eyed her opponent, and Rhei eyed her back with a look of fierce determination. Foxy smiled and hoped to be a little more considerate to her opponent after the last fight, even though she wanted to win this tournament.

"Hi there! I hope you've got a good reason to be here because I'd hate to end it too soon.." Foxy said with a touch of perkiness. Rhei just rolled his eyes at her perky energy, which annoyed Foxy. "Oh come on! You don't need to be rude to me, just say something anything at all!" But Rhei just stood there with a scowl on his face. "Okay fine, be that way, but I'm sure you'll regret it!" Both got into fighting stances.

Foxy attacked first with a leaping kick, bout Rhei just blocked the attempted attack. Foxy tried another kick, but Rhei blocked that as well, and then squatted down and delivered a punch to Foxy's midriff, stunning her for a bit, but then aimed high and delivered a high kick which connected to Rhei's head, knocking him down. Foxy approached her opponent, but then Rhei delivered a low kick which knocked down Foxy. Rhei then attempted a powerful hook punch, but Foxy ducked in the nick of time and then retaliated with a thrust of her fingers to his stomach, stunning him. Foxy then delivered another high kick to the head, knocking down Rhei again. Rhei was getting furious, and then charged at her with some punches, but Foxy squatted down and delivered another finger thrust to his midsection, stunning him. With her opponent stunned, Foxy then delivered one more high kick, and that was that. Rhei was knocked out, the price he paid for his rudeness and arrogance. Foxy did her victory dance again, happy with her progress, but realized that the challenges were getting harder. A few seconds later Rhei got up and then walked right past Foxy.

"Hey at least you could show some respect!" Foxy demaned, but Rhei just threw his hand up brushing her off as he continued onward. Rhei turned away, shamed and defeated he would give his opponent no glory. Foxy looked onward, she felt pleased she beat an arrogant opponent, this time with no regrets. With nothing else to do here she walked onward seeking her next tough challenge.
