The Root of Addiction: What is Its Cause
The first thing one should understand is that Addiction is the process of building up a dependency on something to the point the body and/or mind can no longer go without. It is a delicate line between Submission and Insanity, and for many, all addictions can seem like the latter. For the purpose of this book, we are not looking at a dependency on drugs or other such things from outside sources, but rather something that comes from within.
While the addiction may be to affection, sex, or yes, even pain, it is important to realize that the addiction is not to these things, but to the reaction they cause in the body. They cause the release of Dopamine, a naturally occurring hormone in the body, which is necessary for contentment and proper mental and physical functioning. Your submissive will, if this process is followed, be built up to higher and higher levels of Dopamine constantly being in their system, making it near impossible to function on what the body naturally releases, ensuring a willing, reverent submissive.
Putting the book down on the side table, Vernon looked up at where the two children played, and he now understood why Duddley seemed to throw such tantrums when he was not allowed to do what he wanted. Every time he gave in to the little stinker, he experienced a pleasureful dopamine high, and he knew he could get more whenever he wanted. If this continued, his wife's "Dudders" would be spoiled rotten and his addiction, as with every person on earth, would destroy him. He had to start practicing restraint, regulating the boy's fix for him, or he would never learn to regulate his dopamine addiction on his own.
Seeing the cake on the table, he thought of what else the book had said. Sugar. Caffeine. Both were naturally occurring addictions and ones that were already building in his son. They, also, would have to be curbed by his next birthday. He would not have a rotten son. It is that very thing, he knew, that had ruined his previous boss.
"Petunia!" He hollered into the kitchen. A beautiful giraffe of a woman came into the Living room with a towel drying her wet hands and asked what he needed. "No more sweets during the week. It isn't good for the mind, the body, or growth. Dudley won't be smart, strong, or tall when he grows up if he keeps eating that junk. I think it would be best to set it aside for only the weekends or special events."
"Yes, dear," the giraffe woman told him.
"And Get Apple Juice instead of tea for the children. I don't want them having too much caffeine either."
The woman nodded and walked away, leaving him with the two boys once more.
Journey to Total Submission
Moving forward, you will learn a very precise and easy way in which to train your slave. While this can be done at any age, and any level, it works best if the one being taught is a young, untouched child that has never known, or will easily forget, the meaning of pain. The reason for this is simple. When you reach the point of causing discomfort or pain to the child, they will not know how to react to it, and thus, they will allow the other emotions and sensations surrounding it to determine their reaction, and every subsequent interaction with pain in the future.
Once you have your slave, build up trust and rapport. If the child is comfortable around you, they will not struggle with accepting the first step.
