Chapter 13: Surprising Allies Time, First Period
"You sure you're okay with this, San?" Hito asked, as he, Maehara, and Isogai stood opposite me.
"Yeah, you sure you're not being too cocky, Shuri?" Maehara raised an eyebrow. "Yuma and I have even started to land hits when working together against him… You just got out of your cast. Wouldn't want to return ya to it too fast…"
I bounced myself on my toes. "I can't improve if I don't challenge myself."
"While I admire the work ethic I don't-" Before Isogai could finish his kind words I swung my leg downwards, he avoided that blow, but not the follow up as I delivered two kicks to his chest, winding him.
"Alright don't just stand around, Sugino! He's serious!" Maehara ran in with a haymaker which I blocked by lightly grabbing his wrist and slightly deflecting it as Sugino went for a gut punch which I intercepted with my knee.
I tossed Maehara into Sugino to free my leg up, but felt a swelling pain in my arm as an open handed strike hit the back of my right shoulder blade. In one decisive strike Isogai had slightly dislocated my arm joint. The other two weren't letting up either, working in tandem, delivering sets of simultaneous blows. They weren't slouches either, I may have spent a bit of time training my kinetic vision by tracking sis during her solo training at our place, but this wasn't keeping track of one rather fast person but three decently quick combatants all focused on me. I popped my shoulder back in, and winced from the pain, but I hadn't a moment to relax as I narrowly blocked a double-handed hammer fist as Maehara attempted to swing it down into my neck. "Too slow!" I gloated, pulling him down and using his momentum to barrel into Isogai's gut. Hito tried to take advantage of the situation, but I just swept his leg out from underneath him. "Ha! Ha…" Fighting three of them all at once caught up to me. I collapsed as they returned to their feet but fatigue and bruises were starting to affect them too.
"Tch…" I heard one of the onlookers casually scoff… "Worn out already? This is why nerds like you should stay in your lane."
"Yeah… I'd love to see you do better Terasaka… and half as dreamy as this pile of men…" Rio smirked.
"Dreamy?" I turned to face Rio at her comment and took a left hook from Hito right to the face.
"Oh crap, San!" He exclaimed.
"Serves him right!" Terasaka stormed off.
"I'll catch up later, okay sis?" She, Rio, and Hina all gave sad puppy dog eyes. For some reason, Koro-Sensei had taken over gym class for the day. If you ask me it seemed in rather poor taste after the incident with Takaoka, and because I was healthy again I had asked for some time training with Karasuma-Sensei to which he had agreed.
"But San…" She gestured down her form, clad in deep blue. She then gestured over to Rio wearing much the same, who proceeded to push a similar attired Hina into me causing both of us to blush profusely. For some reason the tentacled menace had everyone put on their school swimsuits as he gear himself up for a hike.
"Go, you three! Don't keep Koro-Sensei and the rest of the class waiting." I pat Ame on the head, hugged Hina with the other arm, and winked at Rio causing her to face away and cover her face with her hand though I caught redness on her cheeks. They ran off as Karasuma-Sensei came out of the storage area.
"Shuri, I know you want to see what you're capable of after gaining full use of your body back… but taking on three of your top rivals at once, asking for individualized training from me, and managing your already grueling work level that comes with being a top student of this school… You're still just a kid, you should take time to relax and act like the kid you are." I went to speak but was immediately cut off. "And don't go, 'I just had three months of taking it easy.' You maintained a workout regiment that I set up for you throughout your entire injury. Reprogrammed, maintained, and to some, myself included, even improved upon one of the most advanced A.I. systems in the world, single-handedly. Somehow you even managed to hand in several prototypes for new military grade technology that you've been developing… Just don't forget to be a kid, alright?"
"No time for that now…" I said with a laugh. "My mentor took time out of his busy day for me." He nodded and we then took the next twenty minutes sparring with one another before I had to throw in the towel.
"Now go get changed and catch up with your classmates. Also, no laps today after class, head home and be a kid for once. Those are your orders for the rest of the day, Shuri!" He saluted me and I returned it in kind before running off to get changed.
A few minutes later, and guided instruction from Ritsu on location and the makeshift watering hole Koro-Sensei had made for us had come into view. Though if Ritsu hadn't led me there, the shrill sound of overzealous whistling would have. "Awww… c'mon don't be such a stick in the mud! You need to loosen up!" Hina's cheerful voice caught my ears, as did the high-pitched screech of our teacher in response as she splashed him with water. While looking on a preparing to head down into the water myself, a lone Terasaka caught my attention as he trudged into the woods. Feeling this odd, I choose to keep this in mind as I joined the rest of the class at the poolside.
"San-Nii!" Ame exclaimed upon noticing me.
"Y'know you're not really avoiding the 'bot boy' allegations if you're actively avoiding water Shuri," The red-headed menace mocked while fidgeting with a lifeguard stand with an anxious Koro-Sensei atop.
"How's this for 'actively avoiding water', Akabane," I said as I jumped off the cliffside.
"Shuri, that's dangerous!" Our Tentacled Teacher protested before going back to nervous shaking.
I landed with a big splash right next to my sister, she took advantage of the situation and clasped her leg onto my shoulders… "Smmmsh!..." The wrong way!
"Woohoo! Ride 'em cowgirl!"
"Rmmmmah!" I growled.
"Well if you're gonna make it that easy for me, San-Nii…" Sis replied with coy yet sinister intent. "Y'know I've always wanted to see the world from so I high up.
"Yeah caf litarrie flmmh!" I yelled into her suit, rolling my eyes since she was the one person in our class that could actually fly. "Nah cou you plesh geh of!"
"Hey you two! That isn't appropriate pool behavior!" Koro-Sensei shouted. "Especially for the two of you who treat each other like siblings. "Sasu get off of Shuri this instant…"
"Ugh… fine…" Ame groaned as I felt my lungs finally become unobstructed. There was then a lofty splash heard softly behind me.
"I swear… you get more and more like your significant other each day sis…" I shook my head.
"You say that like it's a bad thing, big guy!" The spoken of significant other said as she and my girlfriend swam over to meet us.
"Rio… Y'know I love ya, but… One of you is enough."
"Y'hear that guys, he loves me, he really loves me!" She said.
"You dodgy-"
"Watch your wording, San… you have ladies present…"
"Rio…"
"Alright, calm it down, Rio… besides San-kun she's just trying to push your buttons," Hina said, once again acting as the voice of reason.
"Well hey there, pretty lady," I smiled down at her.
"H-Hello there, handsome guy…" Hina replied, redness coming over her cheeks.
"We get it, you're both hot… Here! Cool off! Ams help me out."
"Right!" Ame nodded as a cold torrent ran over Hina and me.
"Rio!"
"Sis!"
"Excuse me! You're happy your grades are up!" Once again Terasaka was losing his temper with someone… Surprisingly, this time it was Muramatsu. "No! Say that again! I don't think I heard you right!" I kept my distance yet kept listening in… With how angry he'd been as of late, I was wondering if he was feeling left behind.
"C'mon, these are the highest scores I ever got." Hearing the sense of pride coming from Muramatsu brought a smile to my face as I hid around the corner. "It's because of the octopus and 'The After School Slithery Study Session' thing." So even someone like him was taking steps to better himself.
"Woah! Woah! You saying you actually showed up for that crap?" Terasaka growled.
"Yeah…" Muramatsu responded, he was cut off from saying much else as Terasaka tightened his grip on Muramatsu's shirt collar.
"The three of us agreed no Slithery anything, remember?!" He bellowed.
"That's the thing it wasn't all bad, in fact it really helped me out!"
"Are you kidding me!" A loud thud and troubled groan was heard as Terasaka threw Muramatsu against a tree.
"That's enough!" I stepped in.
"Oh, so you were listening in. Here to play the white knight? That worked out so well for you last time, Brainiac… Go run off before I do worse than that poor excuse for someone acting tougher than any of you 'smart guys' should." He stepped towards me threateningly.
I stood unwavering and unflinching against him. "Is it really such a big deal that your friend is working so hard to better himself?"
"I said run off! Last warning, this ain't your business!" He took another step towards me. I walked right past him and offered Muramatsu a hand up. "Now you're asking for it!" He flung a punch in my direction which I effortlessly caught without even having to face him.
"Y'know Terasaka, for someone so defiant of the school's guidelines, you sure are embodying the school philosophy." I pushed back against his hand.
"Don't get cocky, jerk!" He flung another punch which I deflected with his own arm.
I stared down at him with cold disdain. "Have you learned nothing since Koro-Sensei took over our class?"
"So what if I haven't…" He glared at me.
"Can't say I'm one to believe you…" I turned my face to Muramatsu while still keeping an eye on him. "You good there, Muramatsu?"
"Uh sure, Shuri…" He was catching his breath under the tree.
"Muramatsu, just wanna say that you should be proud of how far you've come… And so should you, Terasaka." I turned my attention back to him.
"I haven't changed at all! I don't know what you're going on about," he deflected. "Once the octopus is dead, I'll go right back to living my regular life." He pulled his wrist back from my hand, I let him go… He began to storm off… Looking back only once to Muramatsu, "Fine! Care about your grades if that gets you off, traitor. And Shuri we'll see how superior you are once I'm the one that pulls off the killing strategy." He walked away.
I extended a hand to Muramatsu. "Thanks Shuri… Though you really shouldn't have gotten yourself involved…"
"Eh, I was around… besides… while I may hang out with my own group of friends… at the end of the day, I have to understand that we all are in this together… Either we kill him or the world explodes… Quite literally. We're all in this together. I think once Terasaka accepts this he can get out of the funk he's in…"
"I'm glad someone besides the Octopus, Yoshida, and I has faith in him."
"Jelavic-Sensei and Karasuma-Sensei also have faith in all of us… even if… they have less than ideal ways of showing it…" I rubbed the back of my neck.
A rather loud pop was heard as an odd gray smoke started to filter out of the building. Both Muramatsu and I ran towards the building. Inside was a further enraged Terasaka surrounded by several of our classmates and a crying Koro-Sensei lamenting over a knocked over bike. "You're a monster, you hear me? A freak of nature! Anyone who falls for your nice guy act is stupid! That's right!" Terasaka looked around the room. Everyone was staring daggers at him.
"I don't know what's got your jock in a tangle today…" I frowned as Karma spoke up amongst the silent room. "But if he's such a monster, why not man up and kill him? I mean, last I checked, that is what we're supposed to do here…"
"First Shuri… Now you? You aim to start something with me, tough guy? Because I wanted to beat your stupid head in since-" Terasaka pushed past Yoshida and stepped right into Karma's ready hand as Karma gripped Terasaka's chin…
"A little advice… You got this backwards… You gotta bash my head in before you can run your mouth… If Bot-boy scared you off you thought you could threaten me?"
"Grrrr… Let go of me!" Terasaka slapped Karma's arm away, and walked away like a puppy between his legs. "You're all a bunch of freaks!" He slammed the door behind him.
"San! C'm- AH! AH! AH CHOO!" Ame knocked herself off her feet with a sneeze as Hina ran behind and caught her.
"I agree with San-kun, sis…" Hina shook her head. "You've been sneezing your head off… You should let him look you over in the infirmary."
"Hina I'm fi-HI-HA CHOO!" She protested into another sneeze.
"Geez! I'm all for playing nurse when we get home, but maybe you should listen to our resident doctor-to-be Ams…" Rio shrugged.
"Okay could you please stop… This crying business is ridiculous!" My attention was drawn to the front of the room as Jelavic-Sensei was getting rather fed up with Koro-Sensei's constant tears streaming down his face.
"Excuse me! For your information, these are my nostrils. I'm not crying. My nose is running!" That immediately drew my attention… but I got distracted as Ame had another sneezing fit.
"That's it!" Hina roared. "You're going to the infirmary! I mean unless you wanna be sent home… I'm sure Izana-sama would love to look after you…"
"Hina! How cruel…" Ame whimpered through watery eyes.
"Then let's go!" Hina pulled Ame down the hall.
The door then opened as quickly as it had closed as Terasaka stepped into the room. Before he could even close the door and I could follow Hina, our teacher warped over to him in panicked joy getting his mucus everywhere. "Terasaka! Thank heavens! I had this awful feeling you abandoned our class for good!"
"So Octopus… I think it's time we stopped messing around and killed you for real!" The big guy said, wiping himself clean of mucus with the tie our teacher wore. "Come by the pool after class," he grinned maliciously, "we all know your big weakness is water… Don't we now? Hey it's alright…" he turned to the class, "you guys can come too… You can watch while I shove 'em in! You can even help me out."
"Where's this coming from?" Maehara stood up. "You make fun of our attempts and expect us to be on board with yours? Dude… You pride yourself on having the worst attitude in this class… Give me one good reason why any of us should help you…" The air in the room suggested that none of his classmates were all too trusting of Terasaka right now.
"Whatever… suit yourself man…" Terasaka turned and went out the way he came in…
"Sir…" I turned to our still snotty teacher… "I need to go check on my sister… May I be excused to look in on her?"
"Fair enough, Shuri, but please make sure that you don't lose track of your own studies." He dismissed me.
"I assure you, sir, it shan't be an issue." I nodded and headed on my way.
"I H-h-hate- AH CHOO! - these allergies…" Sis was still sneezing her head off as I walked into the infirmary.
"Welp time to look you over, sis," I sat down on a stool at her bedside. Hina was holding a trash can filled to the brim with tissues. "Hina, thanks for your diligent work! Go ahead back to class, I can handle our little patient in the meantime."
"Thanks San-kun. I'll see you both soon, I hope!"
"Y-Hoo-Hoo kn-kn-know it, H-H-HinAH Choo!" Sis held off her sneezes as long as she could.
"Heh, love the positive attitude you're keeping through all of this, sis!" I smiled down at her.
"Sc-huh-hew that!" Sis frowned, "Sn-nuh-nuh-neezing S-hu-hu-HA Choo! - sucks…" She sank into the bed.
"So what do you think caused all this, it's been a while since I've observed you and Koro-Sensei experiencing similar symptoms…"
"Hmm?" She tilted her head, before breaking into another sneezing fit.
"Between yesterday and today was there anything out of the ordinary that both you and Koro-Sensei might have been exposed?"
"B-huh-hug b-homb! Ha choo!"
"Bug bomb?" I turned towards the door. "Be right back sis!" I ran back to the classroom, no one was inside. "Guess they all decided to go down and try Terasaka's idea… Ritsu-chan!" I yelled to her monitor.
"Yes, Onii-Sama?" She popped up on screen.
"Sis mentioned something about a 'bug bomb', do you know what happened to the canister after the commotion?"
"It's in Koro-Sensei's desk, he put it in there after the situation."
"Which means it's probably locked in there… Hey Ritsu-chan, can you run an air quality scan?"
"On it!" She saluted.
"Great, thank you! I'll be down the hall with sis! I have my phone on me. I'd like reports of all anomalies and areas of high concentration, please."
My phone rang as I stepped out the door. I swiftly answered it. "San-kun is sis okay?" Hina's worried voice came from the speaker. "Normally I wouldn't have left but Rio said to trust you with her, we're getting into the pool soon to help with Terasaka's plan. If you need me, have Ritsu shout for me and I'll run up." Before I could even get a word in she hung up just as I was getting back to the infirmary.
"I Ca-choo! Can't believ-achoo… believe… I let you ta-ha-lk m-he in-in-into this!" Ame was on her phone when I got back completely covered by the bed sheet.
"You're lucky you're just in here for bad allergies…" I frowned at her. "And why are you so covered up? Are you running a fever?" I put my hand to her head. She felt a little warm but nothing warranting covering up.
"Oh there he is… Y'know when I leave my girlfriend with someone I expect that person to look after her." Rio was on the other end on the phone call.
"He was checking on the possible source…" I could hear Hina say.
I started to walk into the room. "Onii-sama! Update!" Ritsu-chan popped up on my phone.
"Great let me-" I tripped on something on the floor right by sis' bedside. "What the devil?" I looked down to find a gray skirt and jacket, as well as a tie on the floor next to Ame's bed. "Sis… What's this about?"
"Onii-sama!" Ritsu-chan complained.
"Yeah San! Pay attention to what Ritsu is telling ya!" Rio said over the phone. Meanwhile Ame had stuck her head under the covers.
"Sis?"
"Onii-sama!"
"Sorry Ritsu-chan, proceed with summation." I sat down on the bed, and kicked the clothes pile out of reach from the bed, blush spreading over my face.
"The air seems to have a high density of pollinic allergens that in the dosage provided would be undetectable to normal human physiology."
"Well that explains Ame… Her senses are indeed superhuman…" I nudged her with my elbow and chuckled.
"Haha real funny, San-Nii!" Her muffled retort came from beneath the sheet.
"Now the pressing question is… Where did Terasaka get something like that? He's a smart guy… but not in that specific way.
"You're kidding right?! Terasaka? Smart? In what world?" Rio objected.
"Everyone has their strengths!" I shrugged. "Anyway, Ritsu-Chan create me a jar with a stopper and then run the vacuum program to remove the pollen to the best of your ability."
"On it Onii-Sama!" She disappeared from screen.
"Anyway San, take care of her! Terasaka just got here so it's time for us to get in the pool for his 'plan'! We'll talk to you when it goes belly up!" Rio hung up.
"So… happy to see the sneezing died down… happy that Rio's dare worked out in your favor." I gave a sly smirk. "Though also knowing her… This isn't where it stopped…"
"J-just what are you implying San-Nii? Hina and Ritsu will be mad at you if you say the wrong thing here, and I'll be disappointed in you."
"It doesn't take a genius to figure out that you took off your clothing in an attempt to stun me when I came back… but it's also clear, sis, that your nerves got the better of you." I began to walk towards the door. "Welp catch your breath… I'm gonna run down to the pool real quick… it'll give me a chance to test something I've been working on… I'll be back as fast as I can."
"S-See you soon…" She whimpered, apparently disheartened.
"Ritsu-chan, I'm going out. Can you stop running the vacuum for a moment? I need to pick up the Model-01 prototype from my desk. Figured I'd go for a sprint to check on the class."
"Right! Good luck Onii-sama!" She said as the classroom quieted for a moment. I reached into my deck and pulled out two metal leg braces and strapped them to my legs. They were cylindrical in design and silver in color. I pulled up my pants leg and put it on over my sock.
"Well time to see how much faster I can go! Ritsu run "Protocol-01: Spirit!" I did some basic arm stretches and began on my way down towards the watering hole. About a third of the way down a familiar red-head was a blur as I passed by him at breakneck speeds. I slowed my descent just to call out to him. "Didn't feel like pitching in Akabane?"
"You say that like it's gonna succeed Bot-for-Brains."
"Original…" I frowned at his new nickname.
"Moving awfully fast… You that excited to see the fai-" He was cut off by the sound of a loud pop and crash…
"What was that?"
"Hell if I know, but I'm not standing around waiting to find out… Let's go check it out, Shuri!"
"I'll see you down there!" I sped off ahead of him.
"Hey! How the heck are you that fast?"
"Bot's got some new programs!"
What normally would have taken me 10 minutes to get down the rest of the way only took me 2 with the device attached. I was shocked at the scene I saw… No one was around except a mentally shaken Terasaka. There was a giant hole at the top of the dam that had previously held the water in place. "What the hell happened here! Where is everyone else?" I grabbed him by his collar and pulled him back to his feet.
"I-I didn't do it! This wasn't what was supposed to happen!"
"Where is everyone else? Where is Koro-Sensei?!" He answered with a shaky point towards the hole.
"YOU IDIOT! THERE'S A WATERFALL! I need to help Koro-Sensei! Stay here if you want… but some of us actually care about the others in our class!" I sped off even further not even wasting time on his response.
"H-Horibe…" Was the last word I heard from him and this further enraged me.
"SHIRO!" This had the white masked man's handiwork all over it.
"Koro-Sensei!" I shouted to him as he had just pulled Mimura from the water, several of my other classmates were sprawled out over the riverbanks in a weary state… I saw Hina, Rio, Nagisa, Yuki, Hito, Kaede… everyone was accounted for.
"San!" Nagisa shouted, "he's further down the mountain!" I nodded to him and eventually came to the water's edge where I noticed Koro-Sensei grabbing Yoshida as he began to fall over the waterfall. He quickly grabbed the falling student and threw him to the shoreline in the safest way he could. As he breathed a sigh of relief I noticed a gray object attempt to slam into our tired teacher.
"Not happening!" I sprinted and much to the surprise of the wanting assassin, his guardian, and the tentacled teacher himself kicked the tentacle away with relative ease.
"Oh my, this certainly is a surprise…" The condescending voice of a white robed guardian came from a lofty tree branch. "Koro-Sensei, how lovely it is to see you again, and if I'm not mistaken, Mr. Shuri; I'm glad to see that you've recovered quite swimmingly. Pardon the pun." His arrogance was more than obvious. "Speaking of 'swimmingly', how is the water treating you?" He had redirected his attention to Koro-Sensei. "Ordinary water is bad enough, especially without usage of one's mucus, worst still is water treated with a chemical agent to slow you down. Mr. Terasaka was pivotal to ensure that your end could very much end in a watery grave."
"Sorry to poke a hole in that vainglorious ego, Shiro, but as much as I wanna save the world and end this worrying, I'm not the biggest fan of your methods." I glared up at him.
"Must we scientists lower ourselves to barbarism, Mr. Shuri?" He asked.
"Horibe…" Koro-Sensei's eyes met with Horibe's.
"Hello, brother… I believe you and me are slated for a friendly little rematch." Horibe began walking Koro-Sensei, his tentacles flailing about aggressively.
"Not happening, Tenta-brat!" A familiar voice called from the top of the cliff. "You and your little mask jerk back there haven't claimed that right yet." He hopped down using one of Horibe's tentacles as a foothold. The red-headed trouble brewer landed between Horibe and me. "Now I'm all for fighting dirty, but I'd never go as far as drowning a class of kids. So… since you're looking for a fight, Tenta-brat, and I know this one…" he pointed over his shoulder at me,"is ready to play the white knight. How about we enforce a penalty game on you while Teach recovers? Time to reach you how we handle things in the classroom."
"That you're almost never in…" I said out of the corner of my mouth.
Akabane turned around with a start. "Do you not want help from someone-" I ran up and deflected a tentacle from hitting Akabane with my arm. "Did I ask for your help?!"
While moving towards Horibe I delivered my retort, attempting a roundhouse kick to his torso which he narrowly blocked with his hands, "First rule of review Akabane, when facing a target that you consider stronger than you… never take your eyes off of him. That blindspots could mean the end of your attempt or worse." I pushed back and landed in the water, I successfully landed a leg sweep but got lightly pummeled by two tentacles slamming me further into the depths. "Perfect!" A smirk spread over my face as I stumbled back onto my feet. " Now as to lending aid… you assumed that I would help you… This is more of an equal partnership, as you assumed that each of us would be unable to handle Horibe alone." I held fast to my bravado, though with how harshly the lashing I was taking were; I knew Akabane was right. "That is to say, you think yourself still in control of this power dynamic." Akabane shot me a look as he sped past. I gripped onto the tentacles lashing at me, providing him a window to deliver a flurry of kicks and punches to Horibe.
"Fine! Leave! I can handle this on my own, Bot-For-Brains!" He growled back at me, delivering blow after blow into Horibe. "This doesn't change anything!"
"Weak…" Horibe grumbled. "You're both weak!"
I pulled his tentacles with all my might. "Akabane retreat. Hyrrraah!" I roared as I began to lift Horibe by the tentacles.
"And let you steal the show, Shuri? Fat chance!" He gripped on to Horibe's head and spun him into water below. I then used that momentum to fling him into the waterfall.
"This is what happens when you've made it known that you share the same weaknesses as your target… Smarter people will find an exploit."
"Itona!" Came the surprised gasp of his white-clar guardian.
"Don't think I forgot about you Shiro!" I leapt towards him, taking my eyes off of Itona briefly in my rage towards this fiend masquerading as a man… and I paid the price for it. Several pink tipped tentacles grabbed me by each of my four limbs only a few inches from Shiro's position in the tree. I struggled furiously as I was held as if crucified.
"Heed your own advice boy…" The shrouded man taunted.
"WEAK! Weak! Weak! Weak! Weak! Weak! You are weak! I am strong! The weak can't talk to the strong like this." Horibe was losing it, he slammed me into the ground several times.
"Hey, did you idiots forget about me?" The gravelly voice of Terasaka called from atop the cliff. He leapt down. "Akabane, Shuri. You two are smarter than me, I admit that. Tell me how I can help and I'll go along with it! You're the brains, I'm the brawn."
"I think we had both covered…" I yelled down at him.
"Hey you masked freak!" Terasaka stamped towards Shiro. I watched as Nagisa, Hina, Isogai and several of our other classmates helped a stranded Sumire, Yoshida, and Muramatsu from their precarious situation.
"Can I help you? Are you upset that we endangered the lives of the classmates you care nothing for?" The white cloaked monster said nonchalantly. "Is your ego wounded?"
"You're one to talk, hiding under that cloak!" I challenged him.
"Oh Mr. Shuri, still able to speak so casually. I applaud your efforts. Mr. Terasaka, you see how we handle your betters… how do you think you'll fair?"
"Laugh it up, man!" Terasaka threw off his shirt and ran at Shiro much the same as I had done moments before.
"Weak! You're so weak! Stupid cattle! No vision!" Horibe used me like a battering ram flinging me in Terasaka's direction. Akabane took advantage of Horibe's slowed reaction due to the water and drove his elbow into one of Horibe's tentacles releasing its grip on me. Using my free hand and Horibe's unsteadiness I broke myself free. "Grrrrah! I am the wolf! I am strong! I hunt the cattle! I kill! Must kill!"
Horibe now infuriated lashed out with all his might at Terasaka, who intercepted the blow with his shirt… Now not only were Horibe's tentacles swollen but he was unable to keep grips on his rage, as he broke into a sneezing fit…
"The same weaknesses… Terasaka, way to think on your feet!" The class gave me a confused look. "I found the allergens you concocted, Shiro." I pulled out what looked to be an empty vial. "Hey Horibe our sister sends her regards!" I threw the vial which he broke over a tentacle. His sneezing grew worse… "Hope you don't mind Shiro… I had Ritsu concentrate it for me before I left. I figured you and Horibe were behind this when Ame and Koro-Sensei were showing similar symptoms."
"Yoshida! Muramatsu! Give us a nice big splash!" Terasaka called up to the two of them as we gained the upper hand.
"Hina, Rio, Hito… Everyone! Help us out too would ya!" I shouted up to our classmates, Akabane smirked giving the class a thumbs down. They all leapt off the cliff into water soaking Horibe more and more.
"You children are a menace!" Shiro barked. I walked over next to Akabane and held up my elbow which he matched with his.
"We're the Assassination Classroom, Mr. White Coat… Happy to be a thorn in your side…" Akabane smirked. "You wanna take us all on… be our guest… Much like our tentacled teacher… We'll take you down together as well."
"Well played children…" Shiro begrudgingly said, "we withdraw… the slaughter of Innocents was never our intention… who could predict how his anti-matter organs could react. Come along Itona…" The rage once again appeared on Horibe's face.
"Oh…" A bloated voice disrupted Horibe's rage. "Wasn't that a fun way to spend an afternoon, class?" Koro-Sensei's head was massively swollen. "There's always room for one more!"
"Itona…" Shiro spoke sternly, as the two left without another word.
The class' tension began to break as everyone began laughing it up… "Hey Hina, Manami… Don't those two boys seem a bit overdressed for a pool day." Rio smiled maliciously as she directed Hina and Okuda's attention over to Akabane and myself.
"Shuri…"
"Yeah Akabane?"
"Truce?"
"For now!" We separated and got ourselves up the cliff.
"Girls of 3-E unite! Two prime targets are making an escape. They're heavily armed and must be intercepted." Rio called the entire female side of the class to arms.
"This doesn't make us even, Shuri!" Akabane said as he clamored to the top of the cliff… "I'm still stronger than you! I still want a pass at that sister of yours."
"I've got more of a pressing issue right now, Ego-Trip… besides sis decides who she dates… and her mom barely approves of Rio… Good luck! She isn't mine to give away, but I'll fight in her honor… For real this time!" We both nodded at each other beating the girls back to the school.
"Forget about someone, boys? My girlfriend told me you two were coming…" Our new assailant was dressed in her school swimsuit standing atop the staircase looking down at us with menacing green eyes.
