"You know,I never realized it,but at times, your eyes are a peppermint green,"Ladybug said, swinging her feet over the building ledge she and Cat were sitting on, watching over the city.

"What kind of peppermint do you prefer, Bugaboo? A striped candy cane, or a cup of peppermint tea?

Cat's eyes were glowing with curiosity and Ladybug had to give it some thought. Sure, growing up in a bakery was fun,but you could only handle so many sweets.

"I think,"Ladybug had a light flirty tone to her voice,"That I like cats with peppermint eyes."Cat laughed."I'm not sure if that's a answer, but okay." Ladybug grinned and blushed.

"Okay, okay," she held up her hands."I like peppermint mocha's from Starbucks best.""I knew it!"Cat leaned forward, swiftly kissing her cheek. "I knew coffee had to be involved somewhere."

Ladybug cupped Cat's ear, whispering, "Wanna get a cup with me?" "M'lady, I'll go anywhere with you."

They held hands as they walked the streets, and Cat paused at a window display where a winter scene played out, while a beautiful sliver and blue was the center spotlight, the display lights shimmering brightly upon it.

"You okay?" Ladybug asked. "My mother would have loved a dress like that to wear on Christmas. She was a designer, you know." Ladybug nodded, unsure what to say. "Marinette wants to be a designer too. She would look lovely in a dress like that." Ladybug flushed, looking pleased.

Cat shook himself out of his trance, and grinned his trademark grin. Ladybug grinned back, and found his hand, whispering, "I love you," as they walked on.

"You know, Bugaboo, pepper and mint make a great pair like us. Your peppery when you need to get the job done, while I distract the akuma with mint green eyes and a sweet joke."

"Someone has to get the job done," Ladybug smiled as he held the door open for her. The rich scent of

coffee and baked goods washed over them, and Ladybug felt her mouth water. It was a bit crowded in the line, and she stepped back as Cat encircled his arms around her, and she sighed a tiny sigh. She felt

so happy. Turning, she pecked Cat's lips with a peppery kiss, to watch his mint green eyes widen slightly, then sparkling returning her kiss.
