Chapter 5: Bonding with Blitzo a bit
Elphabah perched on a branch as she flew off as Blitzo kept escorting by pushing Stolas who is blindfolded back to town. He had blindfolded to prevent him from finding the den again as Stolas nearly tripped "Hey! Stop pushing so fast" Stolas said in annoyance at the Demon walker "Oh will you stop complaining?" Said Blitzo as he hopped onto a log and dropped a pebble on the ground only to be another trap, not only is he escorting him he has to set off the traps so that Stolas wont get caught a third time as Stolas kept walking he held his hands up as Elphabah perched on his head as Blitzo sniffed the air and made a face "Smell that?" He said as Stolas also sniffed and made a face smelling Blitzo "Ugh Blitzo" the demon walker boy needs to take a bath as Blitzo kept sniffing till he sniffs deeply as he smirked "Town tasties and no sis to pester me" he said
"Town testies?" Stolas removed the cloth and noticed that he was gone "What?" He pondered as he looked around "Where has he gone now?" Wondered Stolas as Elphabah flew off his head and down the path as Stolas followed her knowing that Elphabah saw where Blitzo was going as he ran but gasped and hid behind a tree spotting the farmers and the guards as they seem to be trying to find Stolas but failed.
"What did you tell them AJ?" Asked Bill "Just that he is going home isnt he? Is it obvious" said Applejack "AJ say if that Demon bit him could he turn into one of them?" Asked Bill "A demon?" Said Applejack "No one of them half-demon, half wizard half people? A demon walker like my great grandma told me" he said as Applejack chuckles "Will you stop that" she said neither one noticing that Stolas snuck behind the wagon "We are cutting down their woods AJ, we shouldn't be doing it" continued Bill as Stolas snuck towards the basket of bread as he saw his crossbow "Saves me from that nonsense Vox and the soldiers are making us, but if that tech obsessed Mayor dosent sort out those demons it wont just be us who'll stop taking his orders" said Applejack as the two sat down to enjoy a meal as Stolas is about to take his crossbow but gasps when Blitzo came out of nowhere and snarls at him "Those town tastes are mine" he said in a threatening tone "I am not after that, I just need my crossbow back" Stolas assured.
"Oh…alright but those town tastes are mine" Blitzo said as he snuck off to steal from bread as the farmers kept talking as he lept over to tilt the wagon to the other side which surprised Bill "What?" He said not knowing that Blitzo stole some potato "What is it Bill?" Asked Applejack as he scratched his head "Uh the wind maybe *Noticed that the bag of potatoes are gone* hay what did you do with the potatoes?" He asked "The Potatoes bill?" Said Applejack as she looked at the empty bag as Blitzo stole some bread as she noticed the bread was gone "What the hay the bread is gone too" she said as they got close as Blitzo mischievously had switched there hats "No Potatos and no bread?" Said Bill as she saw the orange girl wearing his cap "My hat, AJ please give me my hat!" He said as the two got into a light argument…and then light slapping as well as the two boys ran off carrying the stuff and Stolas got back his crossbow as they both laughed as they sat on a tree branch staring at the view of the city "They nearly caught us" said Stolas laughing a bit as Blitzo took a quick drink of milk and belched "Nobody can catch me townie" he said dropping the jug to the ground only for another trap is to be set off.
Stolas laughed as Blitzo smiled at him as he looked at the city "How can you stand living in there? All the smells ugghh" said Blitzo "It is pretty smelly, and some are backwards and I dont like being stuck in there *Sighs* I miss America" said Stolas "What's America?" Asked Blitzo curious "I used to live there, I could hang out with my freinds…what few I can make it was nice" said Stolas "Sounds like the forest" said Blitzo "Me and my moms lived near a forest it was a small community near the woods where some can hunt and grow there own vegetables and more, I helped a little with hunting with my mama Loona but mostly helped my mama Octavia with the herbs *Looks down* but things have changes Loona wants me to stay in town all the time" he said as Blitzo nudged him "Then stay here in the forest, its great loads of running, playing, eating messing around, climbing" said Blitzo as Stolas smiled but looked away frowning "Freedom I cant afford, I cant leave my moms, my mama Loona has to work for the mayor and…" started Stolas recalling that Vox wanted all demons wiped out "Blitzo you and your family cant stay in the forest either, they're cutting it all down!" Said Stolas
"No way! I'll scare them all off" said Blitzo "The mayor wants the demons gone, Dead! You have to leave" said Stolas scared as Blitzo looked down in concern "We were leaving, me, mom, Barbie and the others with the normal demons" said Blitzo "What stopped you?" He asked "Mom went off" said Blitzo "As a demon?" Asked Stolas "Yeah to find us a new place to live, I'm sure its some huge den with no stinkers around and loads of food for all of us, its going to be amazing…though Vortex and Frizzaroli are gonna have to make a choice to stay with theose they are dating" said Blitzo making Stolas curious "So…your mom Where is she? Do you think she got caught?" Asked Stolas "No she's fine, nobody can catch my mom, and anyway if she was caught by those stinkers I'd get my demons to eat them and get everyone to join in!" Said Blitzo ready.
"So you're waiting for her to come back?" Asked Stolas as Blitzo sighed and hugged his legs "Yep its just her, Barbie, Frizzaroli and me in the whole world after…*shakes his head* well its just us" said Blitzo "Like me and my moms, but what if they find the den?" Asked Stolas worried "No they wont nobody has" said Blitzo confident "Well I did" said Stolas as the black haired boy smirked "Yeah only cause I let you" he said playfully nudging him as he ran as Stolas picked up his crossbow and ran after him as Elphabah followed as they ran through the leaves laughing as the leaves blowed around as Stolas tackled Blitzo as they tumbled to the ground as Stolas never felt so happy to be free and make a freind since leaving America as they both lagughed as Elphabah flew around.
Soon they made there way to the ranch as Blitzo scared some sheep as Stolas caught up and smiled at his new freind "I need to tell my moms about you, my mama Loona didnt know…we didnt know that the demon walkers are real, that you were people I better get back" he said "Aww" said Blitzo cutely pouting as he blew a rhasberry that Stolas had to go home "Look I'm gonna help you, wait for me at the big tree tommorow I'll bring you some bread…I mean some 'town tastes" stolas offered as Blitzo smiled and nodded "Alright so, smell you later townie" he said laughing "Not if I smell you first" Stolas teased feeling more confident as Blitzo laughed and ran back to the forest to call it a day as Stolas ran back as Elphabah flew after him.
Stolas hid behind the crate when he saw the guards by the gate, he has to think of a way without getting caught because he was supposed to be working at the manor as he turned and saw Bulkhead walking as the donkey was pulling a wagon full of hay as he smirked getting a idea. In the city Stolas had successfully got into the wagon of hay as he popped through the hay and saw Moxxie and Millie in the stockades both punished for mocking Vox as he jumps out the wagon and walked towards them as they noticed and softly smiled "Oh its yourself" said Moxxie as Stolas shared some bread pieces "So they didnt eat you that was great" said Millie "You were right they healed Elphabah" said Stolas smiling a bit "Did he now" said Millie "I better get back home thanks again for the info" said Stolas "So you'll know where to find us anyways if you're looking for me" said Moxxie.
Stolas carefully opened the door to their home to check and see if Octavia and Loona are home "Mama Loona? Mama Octavia?" He asked seeing they were not home yet "Hmm, I better tidy up before they come home" he said as he started to clean and put things away as much as he can "Stolas dear this place is sparkling" Stolas said pretending to be Octavia "Looks like someone has been a busy bee" he said mimicing Loona "Thanks mamas take a seat, put your feet up 'dont mind if I do' hard day hunting mama Loona? 'Yeah not a sniff of a demon out there' 'oh dear please dont push yourself to hard' What if I told you I can get all the demons to leave and we dont have to kill any of them 'me and your mother say you are telling tall tales again' but I am not mama Loona, no promise me you two wont get angery 'we promise' you see I met a boy in the forest who has magic healing powers, he healed Elphabah *Cue Elphabah cawing in agreement* and he's a demon walker 'a demon walker?' Yes mama Octavia its true, when he sleeps he turns into his inner demon and can talk to the wild demons, he and his mother were going to take the demons away but his mother is missing 'missing?' 'Oh the poor thing' I know mama Octavia but if we can help him find his mother, then they can all leave this forest together and you will have done your duty to the mayor 'oh Stolas you are brilliant absolutely brilliant' 'maybe I dont have to worry for you constantly' and maybe things can go back to how it has been" said Stolas as he finished his practice conversation as Loona opened the door and grunts a bit as Octavia followed finishing her shift as Loona place her bag on the floor as Loona smiled seeing her son "Hay kiddo come her to me" she said as Stolas hugged his mom as Octavia kissed her wife cheek "Are you ok Stolas? How are you after that dragon attack? A bit shaken?" She asked "No I'm fine, take a seat both of you *Gently pushes Loona to a chair as Octavia got some pots* put up your feet and I'll help mama Octavia make supper" he said as Loona sighed and took off her shoes "You are so sweet, and how was your work around the manor you must be tired" said Loona
At that Stolas cranked since he didnt work at the manor "Well about that…what if I told you I could…" started Stolas as Octavia saw Elphabah who preached on her shoulder as she gently rubbed her Brest "And Elphabah is back, my you've had quite the day…" she said "Yes I have but what if I told you…" stolas tried to explain "My day has been awful, every trap I set this week has either been broken or sprung never seen the like of these demons" said Loona as Octavia hummed "there were stories that those clothed Demons seem more smarter then humans" she said "That is unusual" said Loona as Stolas wondered if they were demon walkers guiding the herd "Mama Loona what if I told you I can get all the demons to leave and you dont have to kill them? Now promise you two wont get angery at me" said Stolas
As the two ladies shared a look "Go on" said Octavia "You didnt promise" said Stolas "I know go on tell us" said Loona as Stolas took a breath "You see I went back to find Elphabah…" started Stolas but Loona gave a firm look "You were out in the woods?" She demanded "Mama Loona please listen he's one of them, a demon walker like the watcher said They're real" said Stolas "You went back" said Octavia glaring at the boy "But mamas" started Stolas as Loona got up "You left the manor?" She asked
"Well…I didnt actually get to the manor" Stolas confessed "What? The mayor ordered" said Loona she didnt like when Stolas disobeyed "Stolas how could you" said Octavia worried for her son "if we can find his mother and…" started Stolas but Loona grabbed his shoulders "Listen! You have to follow the Mayors rules, he gave you a direct order and you disobeyed him, have you no fear of the stocks? He wont hesitate to put a child into it, all three of us need to work together to stay in this town *Looks at Octavia* Tia can you bring him to the manor tommorow?" She asked "I will" said Octavia solem as tears formed in Stolas eyes as they flowed down his cheeks "But please I thought you both would understand i-i can help you both if we just…" started Stolas but Octavia interrupted.
"Help your mother by doing your work and staying in town away from danger now promise me and your mother" said Octavia "I promise mama Octavia" Stolas replied teary eyed sad that it didnt work out because both of his moms are being overprotective as Loona gently patted his head "Alright now go to your bed" she said as Stolas walks to the ladder as he wipes his tears "I wish you two can listen to me" said Stolas "All we want Is to make sure you are safe sleep well" said Loona as Stolas climbed up the ladder to his bed where Elphabah was inside the cage to call it a night as he swapped into his pages "We'll find a way to help him Elphi" said Stolas as Elphabah chirped as Stolas looks outside the forest, he has to find a way to help Blitzo find his mother.
Authors note: a little bit of bonding and a Taste of freedom as Stolas and Blitzo bond a bit and a promise is made, though sorry that neither Loona or Octaivia wanted to listen
Next chapter Stolas miserabley must work in the manor but in Vox's room there seems to be something hidden…
