Scene 1: The gym
Situation: Peyton encounters Haley and Mia at the gym.
Haley (walking on the treadmill): Hello neighbor
Peyton (walking on the treadmill): Hello Hales
Haley: I never imagined our paths would cross at the gym
Peyton: I am happy to see you again
Haley: I call it divine intervention
Peyton: I call it a coincidence
Mia (getting on the treadmill next to Peyton): Hello Peyton
Peyton (startled): Mia? it has been a while since our last meeting
Mia: How is everything with you and the family?
Peyton: I gave birth to a son named Aidan on April 1st
Mia: An April Fools baby?
Peyton (laughing): Somewhat
Mia: I bet you and your Lucas were caught off guard that day
Peyton (laughing): Definitely
Haley: Anyway, how are Lucky and Sawyer?
Peyton: Sawyer will graduate from high school on May 20th. Lucky plans to compete in the special Olympics. Lucas is coaching Lucky's basketball team.
Haley: I have a soft spot in my heart for kids with special needs
Peyton: They are surely a blessing
Mia: I agree one hundred percent
(Suddenly, Peyton's cellphone rings. A frantic Lucas is on the other end. Lucky had been admitted into the hospital because of heart failure. Peyton bids her friends farewell and then rushes to the hospital. Anxiously, Peyton waits in the lobby while Lucas and Sawyer check on Lucky. Observing the sleeping babies in the nursery gives Peyton hope briefly. She remembers when her children were that fragile, small, and helpless. Eventually, Peyton catches up with Lucas, Sawyer and baby Aidan. They accompany Peyton to a hospital room where a much better Lucky awaits her presence.)
