7:35 pm

The Troop, Cadence, and Erin ran through the rainforest to get to the clearing.

As they were running, Amy's portable Troop grid gave an alert.

"I'm getting a lot of monster activity coming our way," she said. "The rest of the zoastras are here too."

A bunch of portals began to open around them and monsters came pouring out of them.

"Everyone hold on," said Erin grabbing the others.

He zipped through the monster army like a game of checkers and made it to the clearing far from the monsters.

Nathan came out of Erin's arms before he set his watch. "I've set much watch for 7:37 here, and my timer will go off at midnight."

"Alright we don't have much time," said Cadence. "Open the portal before all of the monsters get here."

"Wait, all of the monsters," Gerald softly said to himself.

"Cadence, if we open the portal then all of the monsters will go back, including you."

"I know," she said.

"But what about living here in the human world?" asked Amy.

"Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for those you care about," she said. "And if saving the human world means giving up my life as a human, it's totally worth it."

"Now open the portal or it'll be the end of the world."

"I won't do it if it means losing you," said Gerald. "You've done so much for us that I won't let you through your human life away."

A repticore, locht, and heart eater showed up into the clearing, so Cadence snatched the canister out of Gerald's hands and opened it.

The supreme mites opened a small light before the light erupted into a big wave that spread across the whole world.

The opened portal acted as a maelstrom on the ground.

The three monsters were then pulled into the portal as they were being turned into pure energy.

Erin quickly held on tight to a tree while Gerald and Amy both held onto Cadence before she could get pulled in.

The monster army tried to prevent getting sucked through the portal by holding onto trees and digging into the ground, but it wasn't good enough.

The swarm of a hive monster was pulled in before the hive monster itself, the vapor monsters were pulled out of the crumbling dinosaur skeletons, and dozens of little snarks were pulled in too.

The gelatinous blob was then pulled off of Zeon before being pulled into the portal.

The zoastras were then pulled into the portal as well as they weren't strong enough to escape the force of the portal, but the leading zoastra grabbed onto Zeon.

"This is not over," he furiously said. "We will have our triumph over all humans."

"Not if I and the celestial entities have anything to do about it," said Zeon.

He then grabbed the crystal scepter and smashed it on a passing monster; he then hit the zoastra with it causing him to let go.

"See you in your dreams," said the zoastra before he was pulled into the portal.

As the monsters in Niue were pulled through the portal, the wave continued to spread all over the world.

Every monster that was hit by the wave was pulled away from the human towns, cities, and countries they were in towards the location of the portal.

Hours went by as more and more monsters were pulled across the oceans towards the portal.

"There's only five minutes left until midnight," said Nathan.

"Just keep holding on, Cadence," said Gerald. "We can still save you."

"You have to let go," said Cadence.

"But you're one of us," said Amy.

"It'll be okay," said Cadence. "I had a good life as a human, but one of my greatest wishes is for the human world to be one hundred percent monster-free."

"So, it's time for everyone to move on; including me."

She then let go of Gerald and Amy and slipped out of their arms.

She changed into pure energy and was sucked into the portal.

Zeon arrived on the scene ready to return to the monster dimension as well.

"So long, Troop," he said.

"So long, Zeon," said the Troop.

Erin then wrapped his tail around Zeon then let go of the tree.

Erin was changed into pure energy and was pulled into the portal along with Zeon.

One minute later, Nathan's timer went off saying that it was now midnight; the portal then closed, and everything was now quiet.

"Well, that's that," said Nathan.

"We did it," said Amy. "We really did it."

"Yes, we did," said Gerald.
