The day began with the usual chaos in Class 2.

Kazuma was arguing with Aqua about something dumb (probably her spending too much lunch money on snacks), Subaru was trying to get Rem and Emilia to talk to each other without it being awkward, and Tanya was silently reading the textbook and oh Albedo and Shalltear were fighting again

"This is the first day in over two years that I haven't had to constantly micromanage my Guardians or pretend to be some grandiose, all-knowing ruler," Ainz reflected

To be honest him becoming an undead overlord ruling of a literal kingdom or ending up as the vice representative of class 2 in was not in his' what I see myself in ten years '

It wasn't really bad though hell he even preferred to being a vice president of a class and relax for once instead of worrying about world domination (which by the way was completely Demigure's idea)

Just as he was enjoying this delightful peace, Roswaal strolled into the classroom his creepy smile wider than usual.

"Ahem, my deeeear students! Today, we have a wooooonderful announcement!" Roswaal sang, clapping his hands dramatically. "The teachers have decided that it's time for all of you to form... clubs!"

. "Excuse me, what is the purpose of these... 'clubs'?" Ainz Ooal Gown raised a skeletal hand

"Ah, what a marvelous question, Ainz-san!" Roswaal replied. "Clubs are where you, ahem, socialize, pursue common interests, and build character !"

"Ugh, more work. Can't we just skip instead?" Kazuma groaned, slumping in his seat'I got kicked out from the gaming club once because those guys were jealous of me getting good stuff on the gacha '

"No!" Roswaal chirped. "It's maaaandatory! Each club must have at least five members by the end of the weeeeek, or you'll all have detention!"

This declaration sent the class into a frenzy. Kazuma started muttering about how unfair life was, Subaru tried convincing Rem and Emilia to join whatever club he was planning, and Tanya quietly plotted something ominous (like a joint study club?). Meanwhile, Ainz found himself in a bit of a predicament.

"I suppose I should set an example," Ainz mused aloud, trying to maintain his image as the dignified Sorcerer King. "But what kind of club would appeal to these...guys?"

Considering the fact that the class contained overpowered cats,NEETs, not Nazi military squad, demon maids and a literal goddess Ainz's concern was Valid

"Ainz-sama, you should create a club that reflects your boundless intellect and power! How about a Ainz-sama Worship Club? "Albedo suggested immediately

"Yes!" Aura chimed in, practically glowing with excitement. "It would highlight Ainz-sama's unparalleled Power!"

"..." Ainz suddenly had a feeling he should make it a point to instruct all guardians to not start a cult...I mean club on their own without his knowledge

After much debate including turning down a suggestion from Shalltear to start a sex club in his name and an interrogation club from Demigure (does that even count as a club?) he decided to settle with a Magic research club

Ainz was not really that surprised when Megumin showed up uninvited, dragging Kazuma behind her.

"A club about magic? Count me in!" Megumin exclaimed, stars in her eyes. "I'll finally have a place to discuss the art of explosion magic without judgment!"

"You're not joining without me," Kazuma grumbled, clearly coerced. "I'm not letting you blow yourself up unsupervised again."

Tanya arrived later carrying her Operation Orb with her posture rigid and formal, as if addressing a superior officer. "I understand this club's purpose is the study and development of magic. If that's the case, I believe my expertise can contribute significantly...I am a decorated soldier from my world, where magic and technology are integrated into warfare. My experience includes the use of advanced magical artifacts, such as the Type-95 Elenium Orb, a core that amplifies magical abilities under extreme conditions." She adjusted her orb with a deliberate motion, "My presence here can bridge the gap between raw magical theory and practical applications in combat scenarios."

"And what do you expect to gain from this club?"Ainz tilted his skeletal head

. "Access to knowledge and resources, of course. If this group studies artifacts from multiple worlds, understanding their functionality could give me an edge—whether on the battlefield or against a certain divine adversary." Tanya's lips curled into a controlled smile

Ainz's sockets flickered with light as he considered her words.. honestly he just wanted to know more about the other forms of magic but now that he listened to her this could be a good opportunity for strengthening Nazaric

'professional, strategic, and self-serving—while showcasing her potential to contribute to the club's goals.. I feel like I am running a interview for a Megacoorpration..' Ainz thought "I look forward to working with you "

From there, things escalated.

Chris came by with a strange device that could create adventure cards basically an print out of the status board but you can assign skill points , instantly learn new skills and get job classes (only authorised for this club for research purposes)

Felt head about this adventure card from Chris and dragged Reinhard along

Subaru showed up with Emila Rem and Beatrice (and an entire library worth magic grimoires)

Tanya forcibly made her entire squad join the club to gain skills(literally) and new experience

Naoufumi joined with his party saying something about getting stronger and waves

Aqua made a big show of protest

"I'll never join a club run by that skeleton freak!" she declared, crossing her arms. "He's an undead menace, and I'm a goddess! It's my job to smite him, not work with him!"

"Here her registration forum " Kazuma passed the forum to Sebas

"KAZUMA!!!"

Magic Research Club Member Agreement

Introduction

This formal agreement is established between the Magic Research Club and its prospective members. It outlines the responsibilities, protections, and expectations for all participants in the club. The purpose of the club is to research and explore magic and its applications across various worlds, ensuring safety, mutual cooperation, and academic growth.

Article 1: Non-Aggression Pact

Clause 1.1: Protection of Members

All members of the Magic Research Club are guaranteed protection from physical or magical harm by other club members. The club operates under a strict non-aggression policy, ensuring that no member engages in violent or hostile actions against another unless explicitly agreed upon in prior discussions.

Clause 1.2: Personal Safety

Each member is entitled to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety within the club's activities. The club assumes no responsibility for individual actions that lead to personal harm beyond the scope of the research conducted within the agreed parameters.

Article 2: Conduct and Responsibilities

Clause 2.1: Respect for Research Boundaries

Members must respect the ethical boundaries of the club's research. This includes not using magic for personal gain or outside of the established research objectives. Unauthorized magic use or experimentation is strictly prohibited unless it has been formally approved by the club leadership.

Clause 2.2: Cooperation with Club Leadership

Members are expected to cooperate with the designated club leaders, Ainz Ooal Gown and Tanya Degurechaff, who are responsible for maintaining order and making decisions regarding research projects. Disputes over research methods or goals must be settled through formal discussion.

Article 3: Member Responsibilities

Clause 3.1: Active Participation

Members must actively participate in club activities, including research, discussions, and experiments. Failure to engage in club activities without valid reason may result in the suspension of membership privileges.

Clause 3.2: Contribution of Resources

Members are encouraged to contribute items, knowledge, or resources that may further the club's research objectives. This includes magical artifacts, knowledge from their respective worlds, and relevant experience.

Article 4: Magic Use and Safety Protocols

Clause 4.1: Use of Magic Artifacts

Members are permitted to use magic artifacts during club activities, provided they do not violate any of the club's safety protocols. All magical equipment must be cleared by the leadership before being used in club experiments.

Clause 4.2: Safety and Risk Management

Given the potential risks involved in magical research, members are required to adhere to safety protocols. These protocols include the use of protective barriers, safety spells, and emergency evacuation procedures in case of unforeseen incidents.

Article 5: Exit and Termination Clause

Clause 5.1: Voluntary Withdrawal

A member may voluntarily leave the club at any time. However, prior notice must be given, and any ongoing research projects the member is involved in must be completed or transferred to another member.

Clause 5.2: Disciplinary Action

Failure to comply with the terms of the agreement may result in disciplinary action. This could include suspension of privileges, expulsion from the club, or other consequences as deemed appropriate by the leadership.

Article 6: Protection and Liabilities

Clause 6.1: Legal Protection

The Magic Research Club agrees to indemnify and hold harmless its members from any legal consequences arising from research conducted within the club. However, members are responsible for their own actions outside of the club's sanctioned activities.

Clause 6.2: Liability Waiver

By joining the Magic Research Club, members acknowledge that magic research involves inherent risks. The club is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from participation in research, experimentation, or the use of magical equipment.

Article 7: Racial Class Magic and Its Effects

Clause 7.1: Protection Against Race Specific Harmful Magic

Magic associated with a member's race or class may have unintended effects when interacting with other members. To ensure the safety and cooperation of all participants in the club, the following guidelines are established:

1.Holy Magic and Undead Members

Holy magic, particularly spells used by deities or god-like beings, may have adverse effects on undead members, such as student Ainz Ooal Gown, due to their nature. It is strictly prohibited for holy magic users to cast their spells on undead members unless prior consent is given and precautions are taken. Failure to comply with this clause could result in severe consequences for both parties involved. Aqua, for instance, is advised to avoid using her divine abilities in close proximity to undead members.

2.Death Magic and Living Humans

Death magic, necromancy, or any dark arts related to the manipulation of life forces, may cause severe harm or even death to human members of the club. Natsuki Subaru despite his affinity to the Yin element which seems closely related to Death magic is an ordinary human hence is advised to avoid any form of dark magic unless proper precautions and countermeasures are in place. Any experimentation involving death magic must be cleared in advance by Ainz Ooal Gown the leader of the club, to ensure that no harm comes to other members.

3.Interracial Magic Effects

Magic from one world or race may affect members differently based on their inherent nature or magical resistance. For instance, certain elemental magics might be less effective against beings of high magical resistance like Seiya Ryuuguuin, or completely useless against certain types of beings (e.g., Ainz). In such cases, experimentation involving high-risk magic must be conducted under the supervision of the club's leadership and should involve informed consent from all involved parties.

Clause 7.2: Liability for Magical Interactions

Members must understand and accept responsibility for any injuries or damages caused by the interaction of different magical types within the club. The leadership of the club will ensure that safety protocols are in place for each type of magic, but each member is ultimately responsible for the effects their magic may have on others, particularly when using magic outside of the specified guidelines.

Clause 7.3: Magical Testing Protocols

When testing new or dangerous magic, particularly those related to racial magic abilities, all members must sign a waiver acknowledging the potential risks. This waiver will be kept on file and will be considered binding during club activities.

Article 8: Signature of Agreement

By signing this agreement, the member acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms set forth in this document. The agreement is binding upon the member's entry into the club.

Seiya sat with a furrowed brow as he skimmed over the contract. His expression remained unreadable as he considered each clause in turn. He wasn't someone who made decisions without careful thought—especially not when it came to magic.

Ainz and Tanya waited patiently with similar blank expression

Seiya looked up, his sharp gaze meeting theirs. "Ready Perfect," he declared, as he signed the document dramatically

"Why the heck should you do so much drama for signing a paper" Rista yelled

"This agreement is satisfactory. However, should any clause fail to meet the standards I expect, I will leave without hesitation."Seiya stated his intentions ignoring Rista

Tanya nodded, pleased with his decision..

By lunchtime, almost the entire school had joined the club.

Ainz the leader and founder of the club was starting to get nervous

True he is a level 100 overlord player with the highest amount of mana and spells but he has zero knowledge about magic and how it works

He is a game player spells just activate when you use the proper commands and anyone having enough money experience and stats to learn spells instantly

On the bright side atleast everyone also has zero knowledge of the other magic systems apart from their so he can do just claim the same thing

"Why is everyone here?" Ainz muttered, his skeletal face unable to properly convey the rising panic he felt "Are there no other clubs for them to join?"

Yunyun, meanwhile, sat alone in her room staring at the empty seats in her Friendship Club. room, sadly wondering why nobody had shown up.

"Why does this always happen to me?"
