Author's Notes:

Some of you may wonder, why did I decided to include events prior to the story in segmented transitions to another Arc. There are 2 reasons why:

The first reason is a tactic to encourage rereading. This is so that when you read, you know certain things mentioned and have prior knowledge to it all. (NOTE: This also means that the fiction will also be rewritten in the future, as in the chapters will be updated to fit and fix certain things that are missing)

Since I may decided to add in, remove or fix certain events there could be inconsistencies or missing events. So take this all as a draft or baseline to build the story around before the final version.

The second reason is the main one. It will contain spoilers. I cannot say more here. All you need to know right now of his past is the simplicities of his life years ago as well as the bonds he built that explains his actions before the canon event.

Any who, once more, thank you all for your continued support.

Arc 3: The Inevitable Storm

Chapter 1: Maiami Championship

Reiji's Point of View

"It's confirmed that Sakaki Yuuya will enter the Junior Youth Championship." Nakajima read through the reports provided by the surveillance department.

"I see. That will mean that all the duellists I want are participating."

"Yes."

All that is left is to evaluate how well he can do in a fairer setting. He had faced off against Kyou Yuuki, I still cannot gauge how a duellist from Xyz Dimension duel. Even though we got the same Xyz energy reading from Kurosaki Shun, Kyou Yuuki's summoning had somehow disrupted the reading and caused an overload to the systems.

An Xyz summoning that can produce so much Xyz energy that it overloads our systems. Even more so, Rank 13…

"Nakajima, I want you to brief me again on the candidates which I marked as high potentials." I needed a refresher.

"Yes sir." He tapped on the pad and a display showing the first candidate appear on a holographic screen before me.

"Sakaki Yuuya, the pioneer of Pendulum Summoning. His duel style revolves around Dueltaining where he entertains everyone through duelling and smiles. His win ratio is sitting at around 30%. However, the main reason for this win rate is due to most of his duels losing to Kyou Yuuki alone and if we remove his name, his win ratio is… 62%. Currently he has the highest advantage compared to every other duellist due to Pendulum cards being exclusively his."

"And he will be challenged when we released our created Pendulum cards to the masses." I concluded. "Next."

"Hiiragi Yuzu," the screen changed to a pink haired girl, "Like Sakaki Yuuya, Hiiragi Yuzu learns duelling in You Show Duel School, a school founded by Yuuya's father whom went missing one day. Her deck consists of Light fairy monsters that also includes some ritual summoning and just recently she has shown to be capable of Fusion Summoning. Win rates is 66%."

The next one.

"Gongenzaka Noboru, from Gongenzaka Dojo, his deck, Superheavy Samurais is unique as he does not use spells or traps. Just recently, he received special training from Toudou Yaiba and his deck now consists of Synchro Monsters. Win rate, 67%"

"Koutsu Masumi, from LDS and one of our four top students. She studies under Kishiga Marco's Fusion Course. She uses a Gem-Knight deck that focuses on Fusion Summoning. Just recently, she was… picked up by Kyou Yuuki's tutelage and our spies had reported how she is improving by the day. Win rate 78%."

Koutsu Masumi… I am curious to know how much she will improve during the championship.

"Shiuin Sora… after investigations, we know that he is a spy from the Fusion Dimension. He uses Frightfur Fusion Deck that focuses on quick fusion summoning and battle effects. Not much else is known about him except he likes candies and is currently enrolling in You Show Duel School."

Sora… the blue jacket is a dead giveaway that he is from there. But I am sure that Kyou Yuuki already knows about him but chooses to not take any action. Nakajima continued listing down a few more names before finally settling onto the elephant in the room.

"Kyou Yuuki," I listened intently as I tried to think about the details I may have missed about him. "Despite not participating in the championship, he is a special mention for his knowledge, skill and mastery over all summoning methods. Despite being arguably, the best duellist in the Standard Dimension with a win rate of 100%, he is equally as annoying to deal with."

If the reports from the upper managements are anything to go by, I would say it is not as bad as they put it. Considering the things they did behind the company's back, Kyou Yuuki is not as bad as they portrayed. The only reason why he was painted in such a light was a scandal he personally resolved that snowballed from there.

"What about his deck… or decks? Are the analytics department able to deduce which deck is his strongest?" I did not know what made me ask the question. But I just cannot help but to wonder about it since Kyou Yuuki have been giving his opponents handicaps all the time.

"No sir… While every duellist uses a single deck, Kyou Yuuki uses a large of assortment of decks with their own gimmicks and functions, therefore it is unclear which one is his strongest. It was the hottest debate to everyone."

I do not blame them. But I did notice a few things about his playstyle. His Xyz deck would always focus on monsters with absurdly high attack power… His ritual deck uses an unconventional summoning requirement to bring out a very strong ritual monster… or any ritual monsters for that considering the ritual spell he uses, Meteonis Drytron. There was also an old record of him using a Fusion Deck once but that was only hearsay since old data is purged due to company policy… that and due to the upper management's saboteur of his achievements. He even wrote a thesis on Super Polymerization too.

However, after witnessing how capable he is at Fusion Summoning ANYTHING from the most unexpected places in person… Chimeratech Overdragon. The monster he summoned by using 40 materials… 32 000 Attack points and can attack as many times as possible, up to the number of materials used…

On a side note, he did not use Synchro Summoning much, at least with his own deck and neither did he use Pendulum Summoning yet show his capabilities in those too. And it was also from him I know more about Pendulum Summoning.

I take it all back. I agree with the upper management that he is just as annoying.

"Regardless, the real question remains," I turned away from the screen showing the mysterious man himself, "How many of these duellists can become spears that will fight for our world?"

Yuuki's Point of View

Today is the day. The Maiami Championship. Essentially the biggest tournament in all Standard Dimension because duellists from all over the world gather to this event. In short, this is considered an International Championship, the highest hierarchy of competitive events. As such, the duellists are not just any duellists. They are representatives of their countries.

One may think that it is rather unfair for us locals to be able to participate in this event. I mean, all the duellists in Maiami City have to meet the requirements of either 6 consecutive hosted matches or a win rate of 60%. Have either one of that and you may join.

You would be right to assume so… if you were an isekai protagonist like I am.

Once I tried bringing up how unfair the entire ordeal is but decided to keep my mouth shut about all it all. I've learned my lesson year one when I freaked out about explosions, roars and tremors. Can you blame me? You know, it is like culture shock… like how some people from a certain country would duck for cover when they hear a loud 'BANG' somewhere, when they do it in a different country, they get weird looks from the local.

I know it's a stereotype on my part but now that I have experienced it first hand, I can now relate to them… to a grander degree.

Back to my former experience, turns out I was right to keep my silence because the moment I watch the duel (even did some commentary with Nico Smiley), I've come to understand how weak everyone is. No… not weak, more like… Vanilla. Their extra deck is next to non-existent. Either that or they have a lot of normal monsters. Its like OG Yu-Gi-Oh! Or Duel Kingdom all over again…

But that is not to say that they do not stand a chance. Rather, it is all the luck of the draw.

The last championship that was held. What was it called again? LEO Champion Cup? It was a championship around 5 years ago, and the first place goes to one of the locals who was invited to LDS as a faculty member…

Anyway, the foreign duellist was placed in 3rd. In my eyes, he deserved to be first considering his deck was full of nostalgic warriors. Celtic Guardian, Gaia, Gearfried. Very cultured. Not the best deck competitive wise, but it did brought tears to my eyes. Like an old man reuniting with an old friend who is still alive to this day.

My junior, Richua has left for home. I made sure of it and even guaranteed that the bird stays away from her. I was right about her home tho… she lives in a condominium building. I even escorted her up her unit. She even invited me in which, I declined. The look she gave me… the signs… I recognize them all thanks to my previous experience.

Call me a beta all you want but my body is not very reactive for some reasons. And even if I tried to push myself, faded memories came jolting me out of the experience. When Richua tried it, my mind… somehow got a clearer image of a beautiful woman in white. Literally in white, hair, clothes, background. A good thing too because that rules out the fact and confirms that I was not cursed by a famous horror lady, with long black hair and comes crawling out of the TV, who decided to go Yandere on me.

It still begs the question on who is this mysterious lady in white… there is always this sense of longing… one that prevents me from forming any intimate relationships with other women.

In any case, that was yesterday.

As everyone gathered in front of You Show Duel School, I was responsible in preparing the things needed there since I've had experience and the connections to make everything easier for myself. The coach, Hiiragi-sensei, will be the one driving the minibus. I have experience driving the thing in my past life, I do not have a driver's license here. But I do have a motorcycle's license, conveniently enough. I only know about it when I tried out my custom created D-Wheel.

It would stand out if I had something too fancy, so it's nothing special. Besides, this dimension does not have those kinds of duels. That and walking is so much better for my health.

The journey to the venue would take several minutes… however due to some… inconvenience caused by you-know-who, we were in a bit of a panic. I don't blame them so I thought I called up on his mother for an extra pair of hands since we need to hurry to the venue.

Let's just say, the place was as festive as the previous tourney because everywhere I see is decorations pertaining to the international event.

The first time I experienced it, I was actually baffled by how the entire scene could change in an instant. Then I was reminded of the technology they had. Solid vision system is not only for duelling but also for grand events. In a way, Maiami City does not need to splurge on physical decorations and just rely on the technology to generate the decorations. Even my dingy accommodation has it, but I do not have the controls to it. The landlord or lady does, and it is their job to activate the appropriate one that fits the occasion.

One more thing of note is that it is also optional for the owner to put it up. One time, I return home and notice all the bright lights which wasn't there this morning. So yes, my home can change appearance for that day without me knowing…

Sigh, the confusion I had when I thought I took a wrong turn and thought I went to the wrong neighbourhood since I no longer recognize where I am.

In any case, upon arriving, Hiiragi-san drop me and the kids off to get ourselves registered while he went to park the minibus. The kids saw the huge line filtering into the venue, and they all cringed at the thought of queuing. Mind you, it is moving at a decent pace since all they needed to do is scan their Duel Disk as they pass the terminal unlike in my old world… security checks and all. And no, there's no security check since… there's like little to no crime in this world… ever.

"Whoa, look at that queue!" commented Futoshi.

"Let's get in line." Ayu stated as a matter of fact. The kids all agree while Sora only gave a tired look while snacking on the 2nd lollipop. I heard a wrapper sound, so I assume it was the second. Who knows how many he had snacked on.

"No need." My word caught their attention. "We just go straight in through the Express line."

The kids are obviously bewildered by this but followed anyway and pass the long queue line. Once we approached the entrance with a small express section next to a wider common entrance that is filled with people filling in, I could see various LDS uniformed faculty watching the proceedings and I recognized my old friends and colleagues. But one of them, caught my eye.

He is recognizable with his teal hair with grey highlights and glasses.

"Mwahahaha! Look who it is, the man who gave it all away! My archnemesis, Kyou Yuuki!" he declared. His voice dripped in his usual theatrical disdain. "What do I owe the audacity of seeing you here, waltzing through the Express Lane as if you own the place?"

I could feel the kids shuffle nervously behind me, some peeking around my legs to get a glimpse of the spectacle. Yuzu and Sora stared at our interaction with wide eyes, unsure whether to be amused or worried.

"Long time no see, Sakuri-senpai." I said with a casual grin, stepping forward with my hand raised. "Kids, meet my former colleague back in LDS, Sakuri Haisu, he took very good care of me way back when." I introduced.

"Hah!" Haisu let out a dramatic laugh, adjusting his glasses with a flourish. "Indeed, that's what a villain should do! Allow his enemies to get stronger so that the fight becomes fairer!" He paused for a moment, his face turning serious for just a fraction of a second before returning to his theatrical performance. "Anyways, I see you are escorting some kids in. You got an express ticket?" His tonal shifts are impeccable as usual.

"Weeeeeell~ I was hoping you can maybe look the other way and let me pass~" I said, my voice trailing off with a playful lilt, hoping he'd get the hint.

The kids behind me all stiffened and stared up at me, eyes wide with disbelief.

"Oh, what a petty request!" he bellowed, throwing his arms to the sky and standing tall, his feet spread apart as if preparing to deliver an ultimatum. "How dare you, Kyou Yuuki, think you can simply bypass the masses—nay, the common folk! The very queue that they have patiently endured just to enter this grand arena! Have you no shame?!" His voice was so deep and booming it was almost comical, but there was no mistaking the seriousness in his tone.

The kids behind me shifted uncomfortably, eyes darting from me to him, probably wondering how I'd get us past this. Haisu, sensing the growing tension, paused for a dramatic moment, as if pondering some grand decision.

Then, with the slowest, most exaggerated movement, he turned to me, his expression one of feigned contemplation. "Hmm... I suppose I could let you pass... for a price. HEEHEEHEE!"

Typical Haisu, but sure. It's fun seeing the new faces squirm under his first impression, especially when its harmless. But to add to the tension, I told the kids, "Everyone, be prepared." At my word, I can see the kids, even Yuzu gulped in anticipation.

"The price for you to pass through this gate is A SINCERE THANK YOU FROM THE HEART!"

Never change Haisu, never change.

"Well kids, you heard the villain… say thank you." This is followed by a chorus of thank you, a series of evil laughs, and a free pass into the venue. It's nice having friends in high places.

Yuzu's Point of View

The original plan was to find Yuuya in the stadium because he may be inside but sensei told us that Yuuya is not in the place and that his mother would handle it so we should just relax. I supposed it cannot be helped.

We followed Kyou sensei into the venue and get ourselves registered. It was surprisingly fast thanks to him having connections with most of the faculty. Everywhere he goes, almost all of the uniformed personnels recognizes him. The person behind the counter, Kishiga-san, even greeted him warmly.

We were given a card after our registration. Now in the lobby and waiting until the event start, Kyou Yuuki starts regaling about some of the best parts of his time in LDS, at the behest of the Ayu, Futoshi and even Tatsuya. The topic was mostly about the past championship that was roughly 3 or 4 years ago, and he was one of the commentators at the time, which explains why he knows Nico Smiley… but the last time I remember, they did not seem to be on good terms. Not hostile but not good either.

I asked him about it and according to him, "Nothing too big. He wanted to further his career by becoming a manager. That's when he became Strong Ishijima's manager." As for why he kept his distance. "It was because the position was arranged by the upper managements of LDS and I was hated by them despite me being the best." Why? "Because they cannot control me. One time they tried to accuse me of something I did not do… they are afraid of me ever since the incident." What happened? "A story for another time. Anywho… Yuuya is taking his sweet time huh."

"Ah!" we were so engrossed in sensei's stories that we forgot the main problem!

"Calm down. He will be here soon. I'm sure he wouldn't want a repetition of his father going missing now would he." Our sensei reassured.

"Seriously?" I heard a girl's voice and we turned to see a long curly ginger haired girl. If I am right, she was one of Yuuya's opponents during his qualifying matches, Houchun Mieru. I mean, she stood out easily considering her short appearance, dresses up like a Victorian witch and has a crystal apple in her hand. "Is it true that my darling isn't here?"

"My… DARLING!?" that ticked me off in more ways than one.

"Ahahahah!" Sensei, you're not helping! "I didn't know Yuuya is such a player!" Look who's talking! "A pleasure to meet you, I am Kyou Yuuki, and you must be Houchun Mieru from Unno Divination School."

"Ah, yes I am!" Mieru exclaimed in surprise. Then I saw her face reddened at the sight of sensei before she shook her head rapidly. Sensei… should I call the Keisatsu?

"In case you are wondering, your principle often mentions about you being the brightest student in her letters. Unno Naruko… a former pupil of mine. Who would have thought that goth and gloomy girl would become a principle."

I am not surprised anymore.

"K-Kyou-sensei!" that voice felt familiar. I turned to see the LDS Fusion Ace Duellist calling out. Also, did she call him sensei?

I said I am not surprised anymore!

"Oya, Masumi." I heard Kyou-sensei spoke. Which is strange because sensei has the tendency to call others with some kind of nickname. Before, he called me muse, much to my confusion. A few more times later, only I recognize that he was calling me Muse. He called my father Coach, then with Yuuya, clown. It was only much later, he starts calling us by our names and no longer our nicknames he gave us. The only exception to this is the kids which he instantly call by their names instead. I even asked him what he would call Futoshi and Ayu. Doodle and Hime.

When I think about it, he even called Akaba Reiji boy and soon, starts calling him by his name. I'm not sure about the pattern really.

And now, here's another character he called by name. I recognized her. She was the one I won against back in our duel one or two weeks ago. The one who uses Gem-Knight. Kootsu Masumi. Why is she here… also since when did they meet?

"I've assembled my new deck now, and I would like for you to check it." She said, handing him her deck. Sensei stood up and flipped through the entire deck, out of our prying eyes.

"What are you doing here?" I cannot help but ask.

The Fusion Ace turned to me. She hesitated a little, even had a slight blush before responding, "I am now learning from him… and as much as I hate to admit it, I want to defeat you!" Sensei took her in as his student, when was that a thing? Before I can question further, sensei interrupted us.

"Well, that's a rare sight. I don't get to see others attempt at Hybrid decks. Yours is the best one so far, out of the other three." Admitted Kyou Yuuki as he returned the deck to the girl.

"So, I've made the best Hybrid deck you've seen?" she's beaming.

"Uh, I've seen much better in my old…" He muttered something, "But out of the three people I've taught to create Hybrid decks, yours the best one yet."

Way to bring someone up and put them down again. That means that Masumi's new deck consists of another archetype now. I am curious about her new deck.

"Come to think of it, where's your father Yuzu?" Sensei brought up and interrupted my line of thinking.

"He's coming this way… apparently he got lost in the basement." I replied.

"Pfft, typical coach." He took out his Duel Disk. "One more hour until the event starts huh. Are you kids hungry?" At the mention of hungry and food, or due to his impeccable timing, Futoshi's stomach growled. Something that we are very accustomed to. "Right, treats are on me." The kids cheered. "Are you joining us, Masumi, fortune lady?"

"Huh?" she flustered, "I, uh…"

"Fortune Lady?" I believe that's his call sign for Mieru.

They joined us either way.

Half an hour later, we were full thanks to all the snacks sensei bought for us. Masumi and (un)fortunate lady had to go and get prepared. My father found us at last… and so did Yuuya who arrived 10 minutes before the opening event.

Yuuki's Point of View

An hour later, the grand event began. Of course, Yuuya made it on time with about 10 minutes to spare and the contestants were ushered into the waiting lounge. Since I have worked on the behind the scenes of these kinds of events, I can describe the proceedings. Several staff members will arrange everyone by school alphabetical order. They would of course, begin with the foreign contestants since they would use the easiest alphabetical order. Then, the local schools will come out in the Japanese alphabetical order: A, I, U, E, O, Ka, Ki, Ku, Ke, Ko, etc. Since You Show is placed under Yu alphabetical, it is somewhere near the end, second to the R- alphabetical order.

I watched how everyone comes out of the tunnel. Some waving in response to the crowd. Hiiragi-san, or coach, simply twiddle his fingers as he waited for his school to come out. Yoko-san, next to me, was a little more indiscriminate considering how she's also cheering for a certain chef. When it's time for You Show to come out, I could hear the similar fanfare through the crowd, but with a little added gossiping around us. Like how Yuuya did not run away, or gossips on one sided the tournament will be.

One sided? Pfft. Pendulums aren't even on top of the meta in my world.

Picture this, imagine playing a game of finding the main protagonist in an audience stand… in an anime. Easiest game ever considering their appearance. It was also a situation for me when I came to this world and had to find my… former date in a sea of Japanese. You can't miss that pink hair. She had a difficult time finding me though, I don't know…

That goes to say… In the march, showing duellists from all schools ranging from three categories, Youth, Junior Youth and Youth, I can pick out a certain magician who is also a spy from the crowd. His orange curly hair simply stood out in a sea of black and browns, along with his clothing. Then again, it was also easy to identify him when he comes out after the main four.

Then I turned to the ones in question, the four aces. By four, I'm talking about Masumi's group, which includes her, the Fusion Ace, Todo Yaiba, the Synchro Ace, Shijima Hokuto, the Xyz Ace and the last member, Nekoro Aoi, the Ritual Ace.

In fact, I am not surprised to see the LDS aces look in my general direction… with the inclusion of one more last-minute addition.

Kurosaki Shun, the birdy who got hit with a win condition.

And he's glaring at me bitterly.

Here's another picture, eye to eye contact communication. Yes… anime troupe. Reminds me of a mecha anime where there are new types of people who can communicate with thoughts and time around them seem to slow down. But in this context, we locked eyes and had a silent conversation… well more like him being speechless and resentful while I drink in and revel at his misery.

Huh, I guess now I understand why actors love playing the villain role. This is fun.

In any case, nothing much has changed here following the anime. Yuuya gave a speech, Akaba Reiji did his thing and then Nico Smiley talk about the schedules of the tournament.

The schedule is as follows:

1. The tournament has 3 categories, Junior, Junior Youth, and Youth.

2. Junior will participate in the morning and conclude by today.

3. The tournament will be split into 3 rounds.

4. The first two rounds will be a preliminary to narrow down the final 16 duellists for the final round.

5. The final round will be a battle royale all over Maiami City.

6. Duellists from foreign countries does not need to participate in the preliminaries and automatically advance to the 3rd round but with their own category called Special category instead.

7. Exchange students in LDS are NOT exempted as they are registered under LDS, thus making them a participant and representative under LDS, which is a local duel school.

As I think and summarize the 6th rule, I can pretty much guess that these must be the duellists that Reiji must have hired as extra hand to deal with the invasion. That or it was omitted from the canon anime. But regardless, having the extra hand in defending is a smarter move than sacrificing the locals…

Then again, no body dies in the end so I'm not going to complain either way.

In any case, earlier, every contestant, after registering acquired a tournament ID. A card designed similarly to duel monsters card and it is to be inserted into their Duel Disk graveyard slot to identify their matchup. Akaba Reiji announced that it was determined by a computer… but let's be honest here, as an Isekai protagonist, we all know the matching was rigged… well one of it anyway. Namely a match between a bird and a certain blue toy soldier.

On another note, as expected, Yuzu will be duelling against Masumi. And I am very curious to see how my new student fare against Yuzu. The other notable ones would be Yuuya's… especially when he is facing off against the ritual ace herself, Nekoro Aoi. My guess is that due to a certain martial arts school being dismantled by me, it has caused a butterfly effect. Which explains why there is suddenly a Ritual course added to LDS after my intervention.

In simpler words, instead of facing a member of the infamous Ryouzanpaku Duel School, known in the anime where they injure the opponent during a duel, Yuuya will now face against the ritual ace in a revenge duel of some sort. I'd take these kinds of duel over violent brawls anytime.

This is interesting… and convenient. All the important duels of this tournament this early.

But before we go to the main event… we must first have an appetizer.

And the appetizer is none other than the Junior division.

Futoshi, Ayu and Tatsuya duelled against their competitors and slowly climb up the bracket. Futoshi uses dinosaurs with Doodle Beast as its main focus. Ayu uses Aquaactress while Tatsuya, surprisingly uses a rather familiar deck, Morphtronic.

If I am right… he does not duel in the main canon and only after the whole dimension wars, near the end of the series, we can see him using Deskbots. Morphtronic are… an old archetype of monsters, that has different effects based depending on their summoning position. The most I've experience with the deck is having 2 Morphtronic Magnen in defense to protect from attack while having 2 Morphtronic Radion in attack as a beat stick.

It was also during a time when board wipe cards like Raigeki or Dark Hole are either limited or banned too. Nowadays those cards come in abundance and are a common sight.

Regardless, the matchup for the kids is very distant from each other. So much so that the only time they can meet is during the semi-finals. However, there is one problem… Akaba Reira.

A rather androgynous child who shares the same name as Akaba Reiji. Reira had a hood on and has a slouching position. Not only that, the child barely had any emotions. Speaking of… one may have notice that the child shares the same name as a certain someone. The child is by no means related to the family because the child was adopted. Supposedly suffered PTSD as the child was a victim who happens to be in between the crosshairs of a war.

Oh and… the child is actually revealed to be a girl. Man… anime physics. That hoodie of hers had to be very thick because it really hid so much of her hair. Also, I've even peeked inside her open jacket to find any strands of her long hair. There isn't… it must be tied up or something then…

As for the deck she uses… CC. An anime only deck. Now, had I been continue working in LDS, that deck wouldn't be published. But since I've left a year ago, some schmuck must have released some. Either that or Reiji may have taken the liberty to design them, considering the naming conventions. And in case someone asked, no I did not design the D/D archetype. Reiji was a rather popular figure as he is on the news. That and his deck is also a topic of discussion. Before, he uses an Archfiend deck… not the dice rolling archetype but rather a mish mash of various monsters with Archfiend in their name and supports for fiend monsters.

It was only much later, he decided to pay the card design workshop a visit and personally designed his deck. No, we've never met even once during those times since I also have classes, and he only visits during my off hours, the hours when I was teaching in class.

In any case, the morning event ended for the Junior Department and the champion goes to Reira. A little unfair really considering the kids are duelling against a deck that isn't officially released. But I digress. The girl did not say anything, not even a winning speech. All she did was bee-lining to Akaba Reiji. They did not say anything. Reiji put a hand on her hood and gently pats her before they walk away.

In any case, the time now is 11ish am and the Junior Youth division only starts at around 1 in the afternoon. So, we have plenty of time for a break before the real thing begins. As for the duel that is of interest… Yuzu vs Masumi.

End A3 C1

Good day everyone, and an early Christmas greeting too. My apologies for lateness as I have assignments and homeworks that needs to be done. I might be able to get a chapter posted by the 31st... but that's a very hopeful scenario. Chances are I might be off on January due to New Year celebration but we'll see. Thank you all.
