The Prodigy's Ambition
Prologue
A few years had passed since the defeat of Madara Uchiha, The Avengers League and The Legendary Defenders had disbanded. Most of the heroes had gone their own way.
James Rhodes/War Machine decided to lead a new team in order to keep the momentum. Some of the other remnants of The Avengers League and The Legendary Defenders decided to join him. James even decided to recruit Princess Red, Chloe Charming, Uma, Diaochan, Kenshi, Amy Madden/Havoc, Judith/Starling, Miles Morales/Spider-Man, Jake Madden/Chaos, Kate Kane/Batwoman, Celia Facilier, Guile, Red's mother Bridget the Queen of Hearts, Ryu, Ken, Luke, and Miles Morales/Spider-Man.
The Remnants were Megaman, Uma, Dizzy Tremaine, Dinah Lance/Black Canary, Cinderella, Daredevil, and Elektra.
At the heroes summit, James Rhodes and his new team were there. James was on the balcony.
"Attention fellow heroes, I've brought you all here because we have but one goal and that is to protect the world from the darkness. Years ago, I was a part of a group called The Legendary Defenders and we were both allies and enemies with a group called The Avengers League. We both were able to coexist against our common enemy: Madara Uchiha.

"We have to do our best to continue where they left off. For some of you, you all have to prove yourselves in order to soon carry the next generation. Now if you're with me say "To Victory"." said James
"TO VICTORY!" said James' team
"And as of today, we will be known as the Guardians." said James
The Guardians look to make their mark.
Meanwhile at a pirate ship in the ocean, Cervantes was sailing the seas, but then three masked warriors boarded the ship. Cervantes went to confront the threat. The six masked assassins took off their masks. Their names were Roxanne Perez, Nitara, Skarlet, Albert Wesker, Kazumi Mishima, and Scorpion. Cervantes was ready for a fight.
Cervantes had fought well but were overpowered by the six. Roxanne sees his sword and believes that it was powered by Soul Edge. Cervantes tried to stop her but Nitara and Skarlet held him down. Roxanne took the sword and then the sword corrupted her. Markings appeared on her arms and then her eyes turned red. Roxanne Perez was now in control and she wants everything that she sees. Nitara, Skarlet, Wesker, Kazumi, and Scorpion stood by her.
Hours later, In China, Chun-Li, Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, and Serena/Sailor Moon were there doing some shopping. But then a dark cloud surrounded China, Chun-Li, Kamala, and Sailor Moon were wondering what's going on. A group of pirates came out of nowhere. Chun-Li, Kamala, and Sailor Moon started to fight against the pirates. The fight came to a halt because Roxanne Perez, Nitara, Skarlet, Wesker, Kazumi, Scorpion, and Cervantes came into the scene.
Chun-Li, Ms. Marvel, and Sailor Moon figured out that the pirates belonged to Cervantes, but Cervantes was brainwashed by Roxanne Perez. Didn't matter because a fight is about to begin. Chun-Li, Ms Marvel, and Sailor Moon were fighting against Nitara, Skarlet, Cervantes, Wesker, Kazumi, and Scorpion. Roxanne Perez then summoned a dark mist and it went inside Chun-Li, Ms. Marvel, and Sailor Moon and then seconds later, they were brainwashed too.
