The Second Conquest of Westeros

Westeros had been conquered once before, by Aegon the Conqueror, his sister-wives, and, most importantly, their dragons. Now, three hundred years after the first conquest (and over a decade after Aegon's family had been usurped by Robert Baratheon), a new force comes to take the Iron Throne for itself. A force from beyond the stars.

2. Rewrite Announcement

I may have jumped into this story a bit too quickly. I had virtually no plan for this story other than, "I really want to write a space faring empire wants to conquer Planetos." While I pretty much already write my stories with no plan in mind, this story did seem a little disorganized from the initial setup.

With that in mind, I am officially declaring the first chapter of this story as non-canonical. Think of it more as a tease for what the rest of the story eventually will be.

So what's going to change from this point onwards? Well, apart from improved writing and a more detailed invasion of Westeros, I'm cutting out the extra alien races from other franchises. The invading empire will still be an alien race (called the 'Azul') and I will be doing some more world-building to flesh out their race.

Everyone got that? OK, the new first chapter should be up by tomorrow.
