Dean stood infront of sam standing next to jess "dads on a hunting trip and hasn't been home in a few weeks" dean said watching as sam changed the way he stood "jess give us a minute" sam said letting his girlfriend leave the room "right then" dean said starting his way back out "where are you going" sam asked looking at deans back as he continues to walk "to the impala"dean sased him as sam started to follow after him.
Sam climbed into the passenger side "dad?" Wispered a half sleep boy from the back "dean who's the kid" sam asked looking back at the brunette "theo" dean replied starting the impala "who's kid" sam satrted to look at his brother concerned like he thought dean had kidnapped a kid "he's mine" dean said rolling his eyes at his idiot kid brother "dad" dean heard the kid call agian now slightly more awake "yea" dean called back "who's that" the boy asked pointing at sam in the passenger seat "he's your uncle" dean said stopping the car at the motel.
"go ahead inside" dean said and theo nodded leaning forward grabbing the keys "does he know about what you do" sam asked while dean was making sure theo made it into the room "he knows but i won't let him hunt" dean answered sams question turning back to him "we should get inside" dean said stepping out the car and walking to the entrance of the motel room.
"a bother and a smart one at that" theo smirked looking up from his computer "I told you to stop doing that" dean said closing the computer "well you weren't going to tell me anything" theo sassed slightly looking behind him at sam just walking into the motel room "bed" dean said in his stupid dad voice which just made theo annoyed because that's the voice he uses to dismiss whatever it was theo said "right" theo rolled his eyes walking over to one of the beds. "so how old is he" sam sounding a bit concerned for the kid "like 10ish" dean trying to sound surer than he actually was.
Sam didn't ask anymore questions he just went to sleep when he woke dean wasn't in the motel room "where's your dad" sam asked theo sitting at the table on his computer "at the morgue" theo answered typing away at his computer "and what is going on" sam asked walking over to theo and sitting down "dads looking at the victims and in looking at possible things" theo said looking up at sam "here up take over im taking a break" theo said laying his head down on the table.
"So who's your mom" sam asked looking over at theo "I don't remember when I was like 4 or 5 she found my dad when him and John were on a hunt in Kansas and well she dropped me off and left" theo shrugged it off "how did John take it" Sam asked becoming more interested in how theo got in this whole mess "what is this twenty questions" theo asked starting to shift becoming uncomfortable with the conversation "this will be the last question" Sam said noticing theo reaction "John saw me as an opportunity to make the soldier he always wanted but my dad stopped him not wanting me to grow up like that" theo played his head back down closing his eyes.
"so what'd you find" dean asked walking into the motel room "that sam asks a lot of questions" theo said looking up at his dad with his head still on the table "about the case genius" dean said rolling his eyes at the kid "Sams going to go talk to the husband" theo spoke up taking his computer back from the man.
sam walked back through the door an hour later "I believe she's a women in white, a vengeful spirit who preyed on unfaithful men" he said cahing theo's attention "so was she unfaithful or was he" dean asked looking at sam "it doesnt matter it just means we can find away to kill her" sam said looking at theo who was already looking.
"Rock salt and an iron knife should do the trick" theo said closing his computer "are you sure" dean asked looking at him "im sure. You go kill her im going to sleep" theo said walking over to the bed "you have a strange kid" sam said getting into the impala "tell me about it" dean said rolling his eyes and starting his car.
(Two months later and dean has agreed to let theo help on hunts)
sam and theo were passed out in the impala while dean was inside talking to the receptionist at the hotel dean decided to stop at near the town "lets go we're here" dean called opening the impala door waking the two up and grabbing his back "i hate this part" theo muttered sleep clinging to his voice as he rubs his eyes and grabbed his bag following his dad and sam "i'm going back to sleep" theo declared sitting his bag down and plopping himself onto one of the beds "alright kid ill wake you in a few hours" dean said starting to lay down in the other bed and passing out that just left sam who had already passed out on the couch.
A few hours later theo wakes to find sam sitting at the table "what are you doing" theo asked getting out of bed "looking at the missing persons reports" theo just nodded at him before stepping into the bathroom when theo got out the bathroom dean was awake "sammy what are we looking at here" dean asked looking over at him "not much to go on just a bunch of missing persons and a report of a tall wood like creature" sam said pausing to look at the report agian "could be a wendigo" theo said from the couch "you're sitting this one out" dean told theo trying to use his dad voice on him again "what no!? i can help" theo said looking at sam for help but he just sat there "it's not up for debate theo" "fine" theo said giving up.
An hour later dean throw a book at sam after walkiing into the hotel room with pie
"Sammy lets go the wendigos at it" dean said grabbing his keys and heading out the door "okay ill just be here" tgeo sighed picking up johns book and looking for a away to kill the wendigo. "Dad you dont have what you need to kill the wendigo" theo said over the phone "then what kills it" sam asked before dean "fire I'll grab you something till then shoot at i guess" theo said hanging up and taking off running a block or two to get to sam and dean.
"Here" theo said handing him gasoline from the impala and a torch, They killed the wendigo but now he just looked humen and the man coming around the corner saw dean shoot what he thought was a man "federal agent put your hands where i can see them" the man said running over the the body and checking for a pulse "what happened here" he asked looking at sam and dean yet to notice theo "nothing just a misunderstanding" dean said looking down at the men "i saw you shoot him" "he was trying to kill us he said looking up at the agent then to sam and theo.
theo stood there in shoke looking at deans lifeless body sam noticing this and begins to slowly walk to theo "hey, look at me your okay" sam told the boy who was glancing in between him and his dad "step away from the kid" the agent said now pointing his gun at sam. sam was slowly pulling his hand out his pock to show that he had no weapon but the agent didn't see it that way and ended up shooting sam, theo stood there in horror looking at sams body and wiping his eyes of his uncle's blood he picked up his gun and pointed it at the agent "kid put the gun down" the agent told theo "you just killed the only family I've ever had" theo said tears starting to fill his eyes "they weren't good people" the agent told him "They were my family they were good" theo kept insisting they were good no matter what the agent said "i can help you find a new family" theo turned around at hearing a female voice "i don't want a new family i liked mine" theo started crying dropping the gun and the agent slowly walking to pick it up "hey wait" the women yelled trying to run after the boy "shit" the agent whispered looking to the woods where the kid had ran into.
theo took off running into the woods he ran until he couldn't run anymore when he stopped, he could barely breathe, he started to look around after he caught his breathe, he soon began to walk feather into the woods "stupid FBI agent" theo whisper coming to a sudden stop hearing a painful howl he decided to follow it even though he was allows told not to. when he found the source he felt bad so he walked closer to the wolf getting a growl in response "I'm theo, im going to try and get your leg out" theo said looking at the wolf still growling at him "im not going to hurt you just help you" the wolf stopped growling and nodded at theo like it understood him which made him hesitate foe a moment before sitting down and getting the bear trap off the wolfs leg.
"all free" theo said with a bright smile standing up and dusting himself off, theo started to walk away like nothing had happened and the wolf seemed pretty keen on following the strange boy "stop following me" theo snapped looking back at the wolf "why am i talking to a wolf" he was starting to believe he was going crazy he wolf began to tug on his jacket sleeve he kept ignoring the persistent wolf till it started to growl at him "fine we'll go your way" he said giving in relizing he just admitted he was going to let the wolf follow him to wherever he ended up going.
theo began to get confused when they ended up at a house in the middle of the woods "are you lost" a voice called from the porch "oh no i was just following this wolf i helped" when theo said it out loud he realized how crazy it made him sound "why don't you come inside" the man said holding the door open and theo walked inside "cora go get changed" a womens voice said and the wolf can off up some stairs "what are you doing out here in the woods" the women asked studying theo "you know what i should get going" theo said avoiding her question and trying to leave "peter" she called, theo tried to run and the man from the porch grabbed him with unhuman strength.
Theo eyes almost went wide realizing what the people in the house were "I should really get going" theo said trying to get out of the house "why leave you just got here" theo immediately starts to step back slowly reaching for his knife "cora" the women waiting for cora to appear downstairs "yes mom" theo turned to the girl standing at the bottom of the stairs "why did you bring this boy here" she asked glancing at the boy "he smelled of sadness and well look at him" she gestured to the boy "right sweetheart you have blood on your face" the women turned to theo "oh sorry" theo said trying to wipe the blood off his face "i'm talia hale what happened before you found my daughter" talia asked "my family there hunters and we were here about the wendigo when an agent started to follow us and once we killed he wendigo the agent thought we killed a person and well he shot my dad then my uncle when he was only trying to make Sure i was okay" theo said starting to remember how they looked so lifeless and limb "what's your name" talia asked looking almost sad for the boy "theo Winchester" he said looking up at her "you may stay here if you would like" she smiled at the boy who nodded his head "i can have peter take you home and grab your things" she said turning to peter and pointing at theo with her eyes "come on kid" peter said rolling his eyes at his sister and opening the door.
