Once upon a time there was a world perhaps different from what any human being can imagine, a world where the beings known as "animals" are ordinary people with their own appearance, culture, behavior, etc.
This world looks a bit different from Earth, because although it has deserts, mountains, beaches and plains, the landscapes have magical platforms and other peculiarities since in this world there are "chaos emeralds."
The chaos emeralds are 7 magical multi-colored gems that contain infinite energy in each one of them, legend has it that whoever gathers the 7 emeralds can use them to cause a miracle since these gems have the power toto grant the person a divine state that will allow him to fly, increase his innate talents and turn thoughts into reality.
Because of their power, the Chaos Emeralds produce residual energy that materializes into golden rings that emerge from the earth or air. Anyone who obtains these rings can use the energy within them to their advantage, or they can throw them into the air to create a portal to any place the user intends to go.
Of course, such gems attract unfortunate people who want to exploit the power and that was the case of the Echidna clan, powerful monotreme warriors who, upon having the 7 Chaos Emeralds in their hands, made them fuse into one, giving rise to a large green emerald known as the "master emerald", with it the Echidnas could do whatever they wanted even putting the lives of innocent people at risk.
On the other side, there was a tribe of owls who believed that the power of the emeralds should not be manipulated by anyone and because of this a war broke out between the echidnas and the owls that ended with the emeralds expelled to another world where they were hidden and their location remained secret.
Several years later, a beautiful, electric blue, very beautiful, full emerald eyes, beautiful, with large sharp quills and... Did I mention beautiful?, created a wonderful being which she let grow inside her as if it were a light.1
As expected, from that light a beautiful blue hedgehog was born, handsome, with big green eyes, with the extraordinary ability to run at unimaginable higher speeds, well, this handsome hedgehog (Ah, had I already mentioned it?) was unexpectedly born with the ability to manipulate the energy of chaos.
That baby with his extraordinary abilities had to live far from civilization, but he was not alone. A beautiful owl named "Longclaw" decided to adopt the little orphan to make sure that no one could harm him, since by possessing the power to manipulate the energy of chaos, any bad person would do the impossible to… Well, who knows what.
The majestic bird Longclaw raised the little hedgehog as if he were her own son, she taught him everything she knew, she fed him, covered him with her wings when it was cold, she put him to sleep at night by singing him a lullaby, she took care of him whenever he got sick and like every mother she scolded him when this little one got into mischief because- Oh! Didn't I tell you?
This little blue hedgehog was born with the natural ability to run fast... so fast that he is able to break the sound barrier, because of this he attracted power-hungry people, which is why since he was born he had to live hidden, evading people or, in any case, hiding his "powers" from the rest, and like every child the little hedgehog did exactly the opposite.
One day in his short life he went for a morning walk (understanding "morning walk" as the act of running around the entire neighborhood at full speed) and upon returning home he gave a beautiful sunflower to his beloved caretaker to avoid scolding from her or at least, to make the scolding smaller.
Unfortunately, the long-feared day had arrived.
A group of echidna warriors followed the little hedgehog to his home to capture him, the owl took her son and flew away dodging the arrows that the echidnas shot at them, she flew and flew to get to a safe place but never arrived.
An intruding arrow hit the owl's body causing her to fall to the ground wounded but with enough strength to stand up, with a last effort she takes a ring and invokes a portal to another world, the little blue hedgehog was scared, because that portal meant that life in his world had ended, that he had to start a new life alone.
The scared little blue hedgehog crossed the portal to the other world with a bag of rings in his hands. When he turned around he saw his beloved caretaker in an attack position waiting for the horde of echidna warriors that were coming at full charge. Seeing this, the little blue hedgehog wanted to return to his caretaker but the portal to his world disappeared right before his eyes…
From that moment on, the beautiful and now independent blue hedgehog had to live on his own, hidden from the inhabitants of that new world (human beings). Now he not only had to hide his power, but also himself, since in this new world there were no people very similar to him.
Years passed and Sonic (what? Did I never mention that the blue hedgehog was called Sonic?) learned to live on his own in a small town called "Green Hills", that is where two fabulous human beings lived called Tom and Maddie, so… am…
"Oh, that sounds more like a fairy tale than a biography," Maddie said, approaching Sonic.
"I know it may sound like fiction, Lady Pretzel, but what will be written here is 100% based on real events and is not a biography." The blue hedgehog gives a big yawn. "It's an autobiography."
Maddie takes away the notebook where Sonic was writing his "autobiography" and lifts him up by the armpits. "Well young writer, now it's too late to continue with your writing. Why don't you take a nice dip in the night? That way tomorrow you'll have a watered head and you'll see how the ideas will blossom."
"You couldn't have said it better, pretzel lady." Sonic yawns again and rests his head on Maddie's shoulder.
The veterinarian takes the blue hedgehog to his room (the attic), places him on the bed and covers him with blankets. The young hedgehog never opened his eyes.
"Sleep well, Sonic."
Maddie leans over to her new baby's forehead and gives him a kiss. "I love you, little one."
The blue hedgehog was so tired that he could only say "mmm" in response.
Maddie smiled and stared at him for a few seconds.
"Hey, did you know that I do too?"
Tom announced, appearing in the room unexpectedly. "But next time, try not to fall asleep to listen to it. People like to read that kind of thing in biographies." He smiled.
"Good night," he whispered.

Hello everyone! How are you all my dear readers? :D
I'm very happy to write this small but very small update, I know it's not well translated but I promise to fix it.
I wrote this to reactivate the story, I know it has been inactive for a long time and I want to apologize, I have been very busy with my studies, the stories may have been on hiatus but I was always checking each of your reactions and with this let me tell you some small observations:
•This story is originally written in Spanish (my native language) and translated into English, I am not 100% bilingual and that is why you find grammar and translation errors, however, this fic has TWICE amount of interactions than in its original version.
•This story has a total of 77 favs. Get it? 77! Wow, it has almost 50k views and 56 alerts, that surprises me a lot, I never thought so many people would be interested in my stories even though I was on hiatus :'D
I'm going to try to continue with this fic that has no end, because being domestical stories of Sonic I don't think I'll put a stop to it since I'll try to write and write whatever comes to mind until who knows, maybe one day.
I hope you have a nice day. Stay tuned for more updates!
Luv ya
