Kamen Rider Goji Presents: A New Chapter in the A.G.I.
To fans of AGITΏ: Warriors of Creation, I introduce my spin-off, with the kind permission of Dr. Exposition. Prepare to explore a darker side of the Agito legacy.
Prologue: Beginning of the End?
Long ago, two divine beings clashed over the destiny of humanity: the Overlord - a godlike creator - and Prometh - a luminous figure of rebellion and hope.
The Overlord, known in some texts as Theos, shaped all life on Earth, including humanity's first ancestors. But with this creation came control: the Overlord demanded servitude and obedience, believing humanity incapable of governing itself without divine guidance.
Prometh, a being of light, sought to defy the Overlord's dominion. He gifted humanity the Seeds of Agito — fragments of divine power that could awaken incredible potential within them. These seeds were Prometh's answer to the Overlord's tyranny, granting humans the chance to evolve beyond their creator's control.
The two entities waged a titanic battle for humanity's future. Though Prometh fought valiantly, he was ultimately defeated. Yet his sacrifice was not in vain for the Seeds of Agito took root, spreading quietly among humanity, waiting for the right conditions to awaken.
In the modern age, those who carried the Seeds began to emerge. Known as Agitos, these individuals possessed extraordinary abilities, and with them came the potential to either protect or destroy. The Overlord, unwilling to relinquish control, unleashed his servants — the Unknown, also called Lords — to hunt down and destroy the Agitos.
It was a brutal conflict, one that claimed countless lives on both sides. But humanity was not defenseless.
Four warriors rose to oppose the Overlord:
Shoichi Tsugami, a young man with amnesia, who became the titular hero, Kamen Rider Agito. Guided by a sense of justice and a desire to uncover his forgotten past, Shoichi led the fight against the Unknown.
Makoto Hikawa, a dedicated police officer, donned the G3 System — a high-tech battle suit designed to combat the Unknown — becoming Kamen Rider G3.
Ryo Ashihara, afflicted with a monstrous metamorphosis, embraced his tragic fate as Kamen Rider Gills, fighting fiercely for answers and revenge.
Kaoru Kino, a disgraced surgeon, became Kamen Rider Another Agito, a rogue warrior consumed by his own darkness.
Together, these Kamen Riders stood as humanity's last line of defense.
In the climactic battle, the Overlord was defeated. But even in death, his essence lingered. In his final moments, the Overlord shared a quiet conversation with Tetsuya Sawaki, a man whose compassion left an indelible mark on the divine being. For the first time, the Overlord reconsidered his view of humanity. With a serene smile, he ascended to the heavens, leaving humanity to shape its own destiny.
The age of the Overlord had ended. The age of Agitos had begun.
The Fragile Gift
With the Overlord gone, humanity was free to forge its future. But freedom came with risks. The Seeds of Agito, while a source of immense power, were also a source of great danger.
For every person who used the gift to protect and create, there was another who sought to dominate and destroy. Humanity's history of violence, greed, and intolerance cast a long shadow over this newfound potential. Could humanity rise above its flaws and prove itself worthy of Prometh's gift?
Or would the Seeds of Agito sow the seeds of humanity's downfall?
The answer lay in the hearts of those who carried the power.
This was a new chapter in A.G.I.T.O. No Sekai — one that would determine whether Agitos would be warriors of creation or warriors of destruction.
AGITΏ: Warriors of Destruction
Kamen Rider Goji: While AGITΏ: Warriors of Creation explores the heroic side of the Agitos, this spin-off delves into the darker possibilities. What happens when the wrong hands wield divine power? What horrors await when Agitos abandon their purpose to indulge in chaos and destruction?
Good cannot exist without evil. And in this world, the abuse of power will have consequences.
For those curious about the deeper lore:
The Overlord, often misinterpreted as the "Overlord of Darkness," is referred to as Theos (テオス) in official materials, though early scripts called him Touma.
Prometh's origins are debated. Some sources identify him as an El Lord, while others position him as a divine counterpart to the Overlord. In the TV series, Tetsuya Sawaki described Prometh as "the same as the Overlord, but his exact opposite," reinforcing their dichotomy.
