Hermione returned to her room and found Ron getting dressed. "This was a mistake." He told her.

"Wha- What do you mean?" Hermione stuttered.

"We're broken up. That means no intimacy."

"You wanted this too!" Her voice got louder.

"I did. But you rushing out to another man while we were in bed is disturbing."

"Disturbing?"

"Hurtful!" Ron shouted.

"I thought there was an intruder." She tried to explain.

"This is a fortress. We all made sure of it." Ron searched for his shoes, getting ready to leave.

"I'm just paranoid." She held on to his arm. "Please stay."

Ron sighed. He kissed the top of her head. "We haven't worked out our old issues and you're adding a new one. I can't deal with that right now."

"What new issue?" She frowned at him.

Ron smirked. "When you figure it out." He used his wand to find his shoes and left.

Hermione's tears started to flow. She was hopeful that they would get back together. 'What did he mean by me adding a new one?'

She went to the bathroom and prepared a warm bubble bath. She softened the lights and summoned the alcohol from her replenished mini bar. She locked herself in the room and submerged her body in the water.

She gulped one bottle and completely submerged herself under. Her mind drifted quickly to when Ron started kissing her, peeling each other's clothes and then shifted to his eyes filled with anger and hurt when she checked on Jimin. All she wanted was hers that night and she ruined it by doing her job.

She went up for air and drank another bottle. She leaned her back on the wall of the tub. 'I have to get it together. I'm on a job. I have to keep Jimin safe. I have to remove these distractions.' It wasn't easily done. Her mind wouldn't allow it.

Where Ron was tall, bulky and strong, Jimin was his opposite. He was shorter, most of the time cute, and fragile from all of his muscle pain. Then again, his strength lie in eyes. The way he could make you feel intimidated by a side glance like from the first time they met. Then comes the flirty stares he gives when he want something, add a smile you would be putty in his hands. Lastly, the intense stares that seemingly stops time is his most powerful feature yet. When he stares at you, you feel like he's trying to see your soul in the same way he is opening up to you. Combine this with his mouth on yours lets you forget everything else.

She fully submerged again, navigating through her thoughts. 'My one focus should be to protect Jimin.' She closed her eyes and remembered her phone. 'JM, he can help me through this.' She looked forward to continuing her conversation with him later. For now, she settled in her warm bath.

...

Jimin woke with his muscles aching. He was motivated to get up and move by the idea of getting his phone back. He wanted to push back some unsavory emotions he's feeling by continuing his attempt on a relationship.

He also had a theory that he wanted to test. He was almost sure that those instances were just coincidences. However, he is prioritising getting back on track with his relationship.

He did worry how she'd react when he couldn't contact her for a few days.

However, last night's event was enlightening. It brought clarity about his feeling towards Hermione. 'She's never going to fall for me. I have to be realistic.' This was the mantra he repeated all night and early in the morning.

He went to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

...

Hermione, once ready for breakfast called out from the shared door. "I'll wait for you in the hallway."

Jimin moved faster and collected his things for the rehearsal. He left his suite and found Hermione waiting by his door. "Let's go?"

Hermione nodded and led him to the elevator. "About yesterday-"

He shook his head, "Why don't we just go back to how it was the first time we met?"

"You mean, when you were rude to me?" Hermione teased as the elevator doors opened.

Hermione held the doors for him.

Jimin went inside the empty elevator. "I meant after the first time you saved me." He smirked.

Hermione chuckled. "I can do that."

Jimin smiled in silence. He stared at her, her pull on him irresistible. "I still want to have sex with you."

"What did you just say?" She almost choked on her words.

"What did I say?"

"You said sex." She whispered.

Jimin's face turned red. "Kiss! I meant kiss."

Hermione laughed.

"Honestly, I meant it."

"Which one?"

"Kiss. Both." He grinned at her.

"No deal."

"Which one?"

"Both." She grinned as the elevator opened. She pulled out a phone from her jean back pocket. "Here's your phone."

"I was going to ask for it." He took it from her hand. "Thanks." He felt relieved not to ask for it.

Hermione nodded and watched him go to his members before heading to her table. She sat in front of Ginny who was careful to make eye contact with her. "What?"

"I heard Ron slam the door last night."

Hermione sighed. "I have to focus on the job." She tried to dismiss the topic or else she don't know how else she could control her emotions.

Ginny nodded and gave her space.

Hermione glanced at the artists table and saw Jimin already on his phone. She took out hers as well.

She quickly viewed at the notifications and saw recent messages from JM.

H: Hello.

JM: You're back.

H: I'm sorry I wasn't able to meet up with you. My job became hectic.

JM: It's okay. I wasn't able to hold my phone for so long as well.

H: Really?

JM: They warned us to limit messages because of the attack with Park Jimin.

H: Oh. I didn't know that.

JM: Right, it wasn't announced in public.

H: I assume he is okay since there's no media coverage of problems with the concert.

JM: Yes, the concert will go on as scheduled.

H: Will you be there during the show?

JM: Of course.

H: I wasn't able to get tickets.

JM: I can get you passes. You just tell me how many you need. I can send the tickets or you can get it at the gate. I just need your full name.

H: Such a blatant way of fishing.

JM: I had to try.

H: JM, I've made some wrong judgements and I think I've hurt some people.

JM: What happened?

H: I was with my ex...

JM: I thought you two had some issues you couldn't quickly reconcile.

H: I know, but he is my one weakness I just can't resist.

It took a long time before he replied.

JM: I see.

H: You're not that talkative

JM: How do you feel about your ex? Are you getting back together?

This time, it took Hermione long to reply.

H: I think I need some distance from him.

JM: I hope you are okay. I remember the first time we talked about your breakup.

H: It's just hitting me that even if we love each other...

Hermione stopped typing, remembering last night's events.

H: We're not good for each other.

H: At least this time.

JM: I don't think I've ever been in love before. Not in the same way you have.

JM: There must be other people around you that you find...

JM: interesting?

H: There's this one but he has a girlfriend. I'm probably not meant for those happy endings.

JM: That sounds a little defeatist.

H: I'm just glad this happened while I'm busy with work and I don't have to dwell on it.

JM: Maybe you're just not looking at the right direction. I'm sure there's someone you've overlooked.

H: Is it you?

JM: Maybe. We won't find out until we meet up.

H: If we do meet up, I think it should be as friends.

JM: We can start as friends.

H: I'll clear up my schedule. Can you get out of there?

JM: I'll see what I can do. But if not, we can meet at the hotel restaurant?

Hermione looked up and saw Jimin staring at her intently. She lowered her gaze and continued her conversation.

H: I think I can arrange that.

She looked up and saw Jimin smiling. She saw him look up and held her eyes followed by a mischievous wink.

Hermione swallowed and looked down at her phone, feeling her face heat up.

JM: It feels like you're distracted. Is there someone who's trying to get your attention?

H: He's harmless. He's just a natural flirt. Like you I think.

She looked up again and saw Jimin trying to suppress a grin.

JM: Do you blush when someone flirts with you?

H: I'm not easily swayed by words.

JM: I wonder how you'd react if I stare at you?

H: I'd probably giggle annoyingly.

She bit her lower lip weirded out by how she described herself.

JM: That's something I want to see.

H: I doubt you'd want to hear it.

JM: I just want to see you.

H: Can you stay one day after the concert?

She could feel someone's gaze on her. She looked up and saw Jimin's gaze on her. She felt awkward and stared back on her phone.

JM: I don't think I can. Besides, that means we cannot see each other after meeting for the first time.

H: It's just that there's a lot of things I have to do to make this meeting possible.

JM: I feel like if we don't meet now, it won't happen.

Hermione sighed.

JM: Even if it's just to satisfy your curiosity?

H: Okay. Let me make some plans.

JM: I won't let this up.

H: Just out of curiosity, what are you wearing now?

JM: Something comfortable. Loose shirt and jeans.

Hermione smirked.

H: Color?

JM: Plain white.

Hermione frowned. She stood and easily saw a few men wearing white shirts. She glanced at the table in front of her and saw Jimin watching her.

JM: Are you near? Were you looking for me?

She sat down and couldn't shake the feeling that Jimin was still watching her. She glanced quickly to confirm it.

H: No, I'm just thinking if I am able to get time to meet you, I should know what clothes you're wearing to distinguish you against everyone.

JM: I see. What about you? What are you wearing?

H: I haven't changed yet. I'm wearing lounge wear.

She waited for his response. She glanced at the table in front of her where Jimin was frowning at her.

JM: I see. Are you in white as well?

Hermione looked at her clothes quickly glancing at Jimin watching her. 'What is his problem?'

H: I'm in Grey actually.

JM: I was hoping we would be matching.

H: Let's color coordinate when we meet.

JM: When we meet? So you're okay with meeting?

Hermione paused and smiled.

H: Yes.

"Yes!" Jimin pumped his fist in the air triumphantly.

Hermione arched an eyebrow at him.

Jimin bowed his apology for being loud.

Hermione put away her phone and motioned for him to follow her out.

Jimin excused himself to join her. He followed her to the elevator bringing them down to their vehicle. "You were pretty busy with your phone earlier."

"So were you. You seemed excited even. Did you settle your relationship issue?"

"Still a work in progress, but at least it's progressing." He pulled out his phone fumbling a bit on it. He heard a buzz on Hermione's pocket. "Is it Ron you're non stop messaging with?"

Hermione stopped herself from pulling out her phone. "It's no one."

"Okay." He hid his phone and anticipated the elevator door to open.

Hermione held the doors for him.

...

Hermione and Jimin arrived first in another dance studio. Ron previously decided to go to different studios at random as another form of security. Hermione went along with the plan.

She did a quick check before deciding a corner to sit on.

Jimin gave his things to her before going in the middle to stretch.

Hermione curiously moved from her spot closer to him. "I'm always in awe at how flexible you are."

Jimin raised his head to grin at her. "I'm in awe of how you handle the threats." He returned the complement.

"If I'm being honest, you keep saying J-Hope is the better dancer, possibly true, but I can't take my eyes off you."

He smiled at her. "You haven't seen us on a stage. Hobi hyung is amazing in front of ARMY."

"If we are to stop the threat, I'd like to sit in the front row to watch all of you." She said in earnest.

"There are people who prefer backstage passes."

"I already talk with you guys all the time. I'd want to experience you in front."

He smirked.

"In front of the stage." Hermione rolled her eyes.

He grinned at her as he continued stretching.

Hermione closed her eyes trying to escape the his unwittingly smouldering eyes.

Hermione went back to her corner when the rest of the members arrived.

She watched everyone give their all careful to not disappoint J-Hope. Occasionally, she saw Jimin gently massaging his neck. Sometimes Taehyung would massage his friend.

Hermione walked to Jimin when they had a break. She whispered to him, "You have to reserve your strength. You have a long concert schedule and you're only at the beginning. If you go at this pace all the time, you might not be able to perform on your last concert."

Jimin frowned at her. However, he nodded in understanding.

Hermione went back to her corner with a few eyes trained at her. She merely brushed them off.

With everyone caught up with the choreography, it deterred any kinds of socialising.

Hermione timed the rehearsal ensuring they were in schedule when leaving.

Similar to how they arrived, she and Jimin left first.

They sat next to each other on the ride back to the hotel. Jimin slowly lowered his head on he shoulder.

"How sore are you?" Hermione didn't move away.

"Just a bit, I'm more of tired than sore. I held out just as you suggested."

Hermione sighed. She took his hand and placed it in on her lap drawing lazy circles on his palm. She felt him relax a little.

Her eyes diverted towards a light that seemed to float out of nowhere. She dropped his hand in favor of her wand. She stared at the light and tried to focus on her surroundings.

She kept her guard up until they reached the safety of the hotel.

Jimin who dozed off on the ride back woke when the vehicle stopped. He glanced at Hermione, who still had a serious expression.

"How are you feeling?" Hermione asked as they left the vehicle.

"I won't faint. I promise." Jimin smiled as he reached for the door handle.

She returned his smile. She watched allowed him to lead her to the elevator. Her eyes darted everywhere making sure that no one is following them.

They reached their floor in silence due to Hermione's preoccupied mind. 'That's the same light but brighter... Or maybe because it was closer?'

"What are you thinking about?" Jimin asked before they entered their respective rooms.

Hermione turned to him. "Work thing."

Jimin nodded. "I thought it was about this morning." He opened his door.

"What do you mean?" She was a little baffled.

He motioned for her to come into his suite. "Do you mind if we take a seat? I'm afraid I might break my promise not to faint if I stay on my feet too long."

"Sure." Hermione followed him inside.

Jimin sprawled on the sofa and Hermione sat on an arm chair.

"What did you mean?" Hermione has been racking her brains. "Is it about the elevator ride?"

It was Jimin's turn to feel confused. "Elevator?"

Hermione snickered, "The Freudian slip?"

Jimin sat up straight. "No, no, no. Not that."

"Then tell me." She moved closer to him.

"It's nothing that serious. I just noticed you were on your phone a lot during breakfast."

"How is that even interesting?" She looked at him sternly.

"You looked really happy on the phone. Were you conversing with Ron?"

"It's somebody else." She felt a little awkward.

"Who else could make you light up and with just words?" He asked with a knowing smile.

"Would you believe it's someone I haven't even met?"

"Maybe that's the reason his words can affect you so much. You haven't an idea if he's just saying things you want to hear."

"So if it was you and you have the chance to meet with this person, would you?"

Jimin frowned. "I think you should, just to check if you should continue with this relationship whatever it is."

Hermione studied his face. It seemed like he's fighting himself not to smile. "I am curious. He talks as if he's God's gift to women. I feel like he's just full of air."

He glared as his breathing became ragged. "Maybe he says the truth."

"I've been surrounded by multiple good looking people for the past few days. I doubt he'd be able to compare."

"Multiple?" He teased.

"All of your members are real handsome."

Jimin grinned. "Thank you."

Hermione sniggered. "Rest up. Recharge your energy."

He nodded. "I'll wait for Taehyungie to help me with the patches."

Hermione considered his words. "I can help."

"Are you sure?"

"It's not a big deal."

Jimin got his patches from his bedroom and handed it to her.

"I think I can remember where I placed them before. Is it in the same location as last time."

"Let's try those positions again." He nodded.

Hermione led him to the sofa. "You can pull-" She lost her train of words when he removed his shirt facing her, his abs exposed to her.

Jimin smirked, enjoying how she reacted to him. "I'll lie on the sofa." He slid down on the sofa, lying on his front.

She caught herself and cleared her throat. "I'll start with your neck."

Jimin nodded.

Hermione picked up one patch, kneeled next to him and with her free hand ran her fingers on his neck stopping to the same spot.

Jimin relaxed feeling her hand gently massaging below her neck.

Hermione moved back to his shoulders. She let her fingers caressed his shoulder massaging and squeezing gently. Her hand inadvertently moved down his chest.

Jimin stiffened for a moment before moving to allow her hand more access.

She closed her eyes. She wasn't sure if the patches made her fingers hot or it was his skin. She pulled off her hands and took another patch. Her free hand traced his shoulder blade. Putting more pressure until she heard him groan. She gently placed the patch on the spot. She massaged his shoulder blades but had difficulty massaging the side closest the back rest. She grabbed the patches and climbed the sofa kneeling with her thighs straddling him on his glutes.

"Hermione?" Jimin glanced at her wishing he could see her clearly.

"I'm sorry. Should I get off?" She was ready to stand.

"No, I just thought you left."

"Let me finish this first."

Jimin nodded and sighed.

Hermione placed the unused patches by his thick thigh. She then continued drawing circles near his shoulder blades. Everytime he stiffen she'd focus on the spot prior to placing a patch.

She moved her fingers lower and moved near his spine remembering the previous spots. She moved backward, her legs now straddling on his thighs. She forced her hands to move upwards to reach his lower back. Her hand trembled as she drew small circles. She felt tension on his lower back. She took a patch and tried to place on a spot but was covered by his pants. She tried to slightly pull it down but his hand grabbed her wrist.

"I can do that myself." He turned around making her lose her balance and started to fall on him. She was able to hold on the sofa to break her fall.

Jimin laughed. "I'm sorry."

Hermione glared and decided to sit on his thighs. "Are you sure you can do the last areas?"

Jimin bit his lower lip. "I can."

She gathered the unused patches unintentionally wriggling.

"Please don't move." Jimin gritted his teeth with his fists tightly closed.

She turned to him and quickly understood his meaning. She got off him and placed the unused patches on the coffee table. "I'll go to my side for a bit. Call for me if you need anything." She quickly glanced at him closing her eyes trying to gain control of her urges.

"Thank you and good night." Jimin called out before standing from the sofa. He walked towards the shared door and locked it.

As soon as the lock clicked, Jimin heard it click again and saw Hermione going through the door. "Do not lock this door. This will give me additional seconds to get to you. Seconds that could mean life and death if there's an intruder."

Jimin grinned. He raised both hands up by his chest in surrender, "Okay. Your friends mentioned about you being neurotic. I didn't believe it then..."

"And now?" Hermione's tone rising in irritation.

Jimin just smiled. "Good night, Hermione."

...

Jimin went to his bedroom and plopped on the bed face down. His mind went directly on feeling her thighs straddling him. He put a lot of his will power on restraining his hands from moving from his sides.

He wouldn't admit if but she was a terrible masseuse. However, her touch was so titillating and he knew this is the only way she'd touch him so intimately.

He sighed and flipped on his back. The morning proved productive for him. His theory about Hermione was slowly being confirmed. He only needed to catch her on the act.

He sat up remembering yet again how she straddled him on the sofa. 'She's so light, I could've pinned her down easily.'

...

Hermione woke up the next day with a strange feeling. She looked at the time and noted it was still early. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was not right.

She got up of bed and proceeded with her morning routines. She chose to wear jeans and a t-shirt. She added a hoodie to avail of additional pockets for her magical trinkets.

She then went to the kitchen to brew coffee. As soon as the coffee dripped, she found a visitor with a cup in hand. "Share some?"

Hermione motioned him in. "It's not yet done."

"I'll wait with you." Jimin walked closer to her.

Hermione inched away from him trying to inconspicuously create space between them. "Are you feeling well enough for today?"

"I am." Jimin turned to face her. "This is a bit awkward isn't?"

She grinned. "We agreed to go back to being platonic. However, it's weird going back to that."

"I told you, I still want to kiss you."

"That's not what you said." She giggled teasing him.

He rolled his eyes. He walked towards the coffee pot. "I think it's done."

"There's sugar in the cupboard should you want a sweeter mix."

He smirked at her for making light of his line that one time. "I think I can find it. Thanks."

Hermione passed her cup to him and watched him pour in coffee. "Thanks. When you're done, we'll go down for breakfast and then leave for the studio."

"Copy that." Jimin saluted in jest.

She rolled her eyes and downed down her coffee. She then escaped the awkward situation to her bedroom.

...

Hermione and Jimin went to their respective tables. She warned her team about her feelings. Jimin on the other hand immediately pulled out his phone.

Hermione, once satisfied with the additional safety precautions pulled her own phone. This time her back was to the artists.

She immediately noticed a message from JM.

JM: How's the plan to meet?

H: I'm sorry but I kind of deprioritize it. I have more pressing matters.

JM: Oh, is there something to worry about?

H: I just have an uneasy feeling.

JM: About?

H: About my job. I think at least for today, I should focus on the project.

JM: Am I a distraction?

Hermione paused and grinned.

H: A welcomed one... But not today.

JM: Okay. I can wait till you're free.

H: Thank you. I'll make sure we meet before you guys go.

JM: I'll hold you to that.

Hermione sent a smiley face and hid her phone. She stood up and walked towards Jimin, tapping his shoulder and whispered in his ears. "Let's go."

Jimin stood up quickly to follow her which earned a wink from Taehyung.

Hermione waited for him by the elevator, holding it open. "Do you have your things?"

Jimin looked her over, admiring how her jeans cling to her shapely legs.

Hermione scoffed and motioned him into the elevator.

"I'm ready." Jimin walked into the elevator, watching her walk inside.

"Listen, stick to me as much as possible today."

"Is something wrong?" Jimin worriedly looked at her.

"Don't worry about it." When they reached parking Hermione left the elevator first carefully watching their surroundings. She cast a silent spell to ensure their vehicle was safe.

She opened the passenger door for Jimin who entered quickly. She glanced one more time before entering the vehicle next to Jimin.

Once inside, she drew her wand. She closed her eyes and let her other senses take over.

Jimin watched her, his nerves a little high with how tense Hermione seemed. Suddenly, her eyes flew open.

Hermione cast a protective spell just when the vehicle bounced and rolled over.

Hermione grunted, desperate to keep her spell intact. "Jimin, you okay?" She looked to him on her peripheral but remained focused on her spell.

"I'm okay." Jimin grimaced and looked at her. "You look worse than me."

"Can you check the driver?"

Jimin moved slowly and saw him crushed from the airbag. He swallowed, the first time he saw something so horrific. "I... I don't think he survived."

Jimin's attention was caught by sparks at the far side right of the vehicle.

"Must be Ron." Hermione grunted. "Come closer to me."

Jimin nodded and noticed that the front windows were cracking. "Is it me or the sides are closing in?"

"Don't panic. There's a spell that's trying to crush us in. I'm fighting it off. Ron's searching for the witch or wizard to end or weaken the spell."

Jimin's heart was pounding. "What can I do?"

Beads of sweat formed on Hermione's face. She shifted slightly so that he would have access to her back. "Reach down my left back pocket. You will find a red button."

Jimin did as instructed. He had wanted to put his hands in the same position but for different reasons. He pushed that thought away. "I got it."

"Press it and call Harry's name." She gritted her teeth.

He pressed the button. "Harry."

Harry immediately entered Hermione's mind. 'Mione?' Hermione was glad Harry was able to break barriers with his Occlumency to Legilimency and then beyond.

"I'm kind of busy, please talk with Jimin instead." Hermione begged.

Harry entered his thoughts. 'Jimin?'

Jimin looked at Hermione who nodded at him. "Yes."

'Where are you?' Harry pressed.

"In a car on the road."

'Can you see a street sign?'

"Yes?"

'Let me look through your eyes.' Harry asked.

"Okay."

'Got it.'

Hermione grunted as she fought off the spell. "Make room for him." She instructed Jimin.

Jimin moved closer to her and within seconds Harry apparated in the vehicle. "That was close." He barely missed the door.

Harry quickly studied the situation. "Hermione, I got this, take Jimin away."

"I'm not fit to fight, take him with you. Let me deal with this." Hermione argued. She turned her head to a spot opposite to where Ron was dueling.

Harry understood and reluctantly grabbed Jimin.

"We can't just leave her behind." Jimin argued. "She'll be crushed."

Hermione turned her face to him. "Trust me."

Jimin frowned but nodded. He looked to Harry. "You can't leave her like this."

Harry looked at his friend. "She'll be fine." He disapparated with Jimin.

Hermione sighed. 'Now how do I get out of here. If I stop the spell, I'll be immediately crushed.' She looked around and whispered to the driver, "I'm sorry."

She positioned herself in the middle of the vehicle drawing in all her strength. "Harry better do all the explaining for this." She took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

Harry apparated with Jimin a couple of blocks away from Hermione.

"I have the rest tucked in back at the hotel." Ginny appeared next to him. "Where's Hermione?"

An explosion erupted from the vehicle causing all passers-by to turn at the direction.

"Hermione!" Jimin shouted and tried to run to her.

Harry held him next to him. He cast a protective spell which deflected offensive spells that started raining on them.

Ginny glanced at the wreck and smiled when she saw Hermione sprawled next to the wreckage. She moved to her friend and knelt down deflecting spells aimed at them. "Mione?"

"I'm just tired." She turned her face to her.

"Let me drag you to Harry's side and I'll try to fight some of these asshats off."

"I'm at your mercy." She tried to move.

Jimin watched in horror as Ginny drag Hermione to them. Her clothes were ripped, a big hole made her shirt look like a vest, her chest full of scratches. Her pant legs were sliced into thick fringes exposing long gashes on her legs. Her left arm looked dislocated.

Harry expanded his shield to include Hermione as he whispered to Ginny, "Be careful."

"Cavalry on the way?" Ginny asked searching the location of the mercenaries.

"Should be arriving soon." Harry nodded.

Ginny disapparated to the closest mercenary she could find.

Jimin knelt and took Hermione in his arms. "Hold on."

Hermione faintly smiled at him. "How do I look?" She teased trying to appease his worries.

"Beautiful."

Harry rolled his eyes. "I've been worse."

"Harry, I swear, if I have to do the paperwork or explain to the ministry about using magic in front of muggles, I will put I binding spell on you."

Harry snorted. "Leave the politics to me."

"And?" Hermione wasn't asking but making him commit.

"I will do the paperwork for this instance." Harry smirked at her. "Pleased?"

"Hardly." Hermione glared at him.

"Hermione, maybe you should reserve your strength?" Jimin carried her in his arms.

"Sounds familiar." She teased. Talking was one way of distracting herself from the pain.

"It's very good advice." Jimin half smiled. "Let me take care of you." He lowered his head and kissed her forehead.

"That seems nice."

Harry tried not to gag. He saw his Aurors arriving one by one. "I'll call Ron. He'll be assigned to you temporarily, Jimin. I'll be taking Hermione to the Healers."

"I won't leave her. I'll take care of her." Jimin backed from him when he tried to get her.

"I'll be taking her to a place meant only for Aurors. You are not one and are not allowed there." Harry argued.

"Harry." Hermione begged with her eyes.

'What?' Harry went to her mind.

'He feels guilty. Let him come, to ease his mind.'

'But...'

'I'm sure Ron would prefer to be close to me too.'

Harry sighed. "Fine."

Jimin watched as the couple seemingly just stared at each other and Ron's words about her guy friends rang in his mind. 'Surely this might be it.'

Hermione moved in his arms to lessen the strain on her wounds in her arm.

Jimin looked down at her. "I am sorry for putting you in this situation."

"It's my job." She said matter of factly.

Within seconds both Ron and Ginny were by Harry's side.

Ron attempted to scoop Hermione from Jimin when Harry spoke.

"Ron, I'll be assigning you to Jimin. You'll be needing your arms free to be able to protect him." Harry didn't need unnecessary arguments.

Ron raised his hand and gently caressed her face. He felt her lean into his hand. "I'm sorry, I am an attack dog. I should've gone to you."

Hermione shook her head. "You distracted them, if they were all focused on me, we wouldn't have made it."

"Looks like everything is under control. I'll be heading for my charges. Ron? Jimin?" Ginny grabbed Harry's hand and gave it a squeeze before staring at the two men.

"I'm bringing both Hermione and Jimin to the Healers just in case." Harry explained to Ginny who nodded.

"Have a fun time with the politics." Gin gave him a quick peck on the cheek before disapparating.

Harry smiled before turning to the trio. "Ron, take Hermione. I'll bring Jimin." Harry instructed.

Jimin reluctantly gave Hermione to Ron who adjusted comfortably in his arms. He watched as the two stared at each other before disapparating.

"He's always going to be a part of her life." Harry took to his side and took his arm. "So will I."

Jimin nodded. "I hope I would too." They disapparated from the scene and apparated to a hospital of some sort.

Harry retained his grasp on Jimin as a healer approached him with documents. He signed and vouched the temporary access for him.

As soon as the papers were signed, Jimin saw a building emerging in front of him.

"Once you leave, you won't be able to access this building again." Harry explained.

Harry entered with Jimin closely following behind. They were greeted by a young Healer who started giving updates on Hermione. Her room, the Healers assigned and initial prognosis. Harry nodded slightly as they walked to Hermione's room.

They were led to a couple of floors upwards into a seemingly deserted hallway where a redhead was being healed of his bruises.

"Ron." Harry waved at him.

"There's three Healers inside. Most of her injuries are superficial except for her legs."

"How long?" Harry asked.

Jimin stayed silent listening between the friends.

"If it were me, I'd be out tonight. But you know her."

Harry sighed. "Scars."

Ron nodded. "With three Healers, hopefully she'll be out in a couple of days."

Jimin frowned. 'She's being stubborn again.' He saw Ron nodded at him.

Harry searched for the young Healer following them from earlier. "Could someone take a look at him? He's been in a car accident."

The young Healer frowned knowing he was a muggle. "I can check." She concentrated and waved her wand. "Aside from his neck and back muscles which seemed strained from overuse, he's in a good condition."

"Thank you." Harry smiled at her. "Do you know if she can have visitors?"

The young Healer opened the door to her room. Ron entered first followed by Harry and Jimin.

Hermione was elevated from the bed. Her clothes have been removed for the Healers to have full view of her injuries.

Harry cleared his throat and turned to the young Healer. "I don't think we're allowed to enter yet."

Jimin should've felt embarrassed but seeing her wounds made him feel remorse from causing her that pain. He felt someone tug at his shirt and saw Harry motion for them to go out. "Ron?"

"I'm pretty sure they're comfortable with each other to be inside that room."

Jimin pursed his lips and clenched his fists. He wanted to be the one inside with her.

Harry and Jimin sat on chairs in the hallway until the Healers and Ron came out of the room. They both stood up.

"She can entertain guests now." Ron announced.

"I'll go in first. I have to go back for the media and political mess." Harry went to her room.

Ron turned to Jimin. "Don't move, I'll call family to stay with her when I bring you back to the hotel."

Jimin wanted to argue that he won't leave her side until she's well but Ron sprinted quickly out of view. He resigned back to his chair and waited for Harry to leave.

...

Inside the room, Harry stood in front of Hermione's bed. She was now wearing a hospital gown. "How are you feeling?"

"I think they've closed my scratches and bruises. It's down to my legs." Hermione sat up grimacing from the change of position of her legs. "How is he?"

"Ron or Jimin?"

She arched an eyebrow. 'What about Ron?' "Jimin."

"Jimin feels guilty and could probably benefit from seeing you up and about."

"But he's not hurt? We had a tumble and he wasn't wearing a seat belt."

"Oh that. Yes, he's fine."

"Good." She leaned back a little relaxed. "How's the rest of the members?"

"They're fine." Harry sat on her bed. "Hermione, you know what to do..."

"I do."

"Do you want me to tell him?"

She sighed. "Maybe when he comes back to the hotel."

"Ron would like that." Harry teased.

She playfully slapped his arms. "You know, you should work on your healing spells. The Healers here are so good."

Harry rolled his eyes. "Looks like you're good here. I have to get back to work and do politics." He stood up and kissed her forehead. "I'll see you in a day or two?"

"I'm not entitled to rest?" She teased.

"After the members leave. Right now, I need my best Aurors." He smiled.

Hermione nodded and watched the door open for the three Healers.

"Are you up for another round Ms. Granger?"

"Yes. Harry was about to leave."

"You can have a friend by your side if you want."

"I'll get Jimin." Harry offered as he went to the door.

Hermione didn't have time to argue as the Healers started with their spells.

Jimin entered slowly into the room. He watched as three Healers raised their wands. He walked closer to Hermione who bit her lower lip trying to contain her screams.

Jimin stood to where he can look into her eyes without intervening with the Healers. He smiled at her thinking it would give her comfort.

She tried so hard not to scream but the slow but agonising way of healing her leg was too much. She looked at Jimin almost pleading to leave afraid that she'd lose control.

Jimin kept his soft gaze on her and started to hum.

Her eyes focused on him.

He started a soft and slower paced version of Fix You.

When you try your best, but you don't succeed

When you get what you want, but not what you need

When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep

Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face

When you lose something you can't replace

When you love someone, but it goes to waste

Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home

And ignite your bones

And I will try to fix you

Hermione held her breath at his delivery. She's able to block the pain as his voice filled the room.

And high up above, or down below

When you're too in love to let it go

But if you never try, you'll never know

Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home

And ignite your bones

And I will try to fix you

By this time, a few curious Healers and Aurors lined up outside her room, hearing his voice.

Hermione's heart skipped a beat at how beautiful his voice is. You can also see the passion as he sang each note.

Tears stream down your face

When you lose something you cannot replace

Tears stream down your face, and I

Tears stream down your face

I promise you I will learn from my mistakes

Tears stream down your face, and I

Lights will guide you home

And ignite your bones

And I will try to fix you

At the end of the song, people in the hallway clapped their appreciation.

Hermione had the urge to come to him and kiss him especially by the way he was staring at her. 'I have to protect this sweet, adorable man. I can't fathom anyone wanting to hurt him.'

The Healers were smiling at each other. They seem to think the two were romantically inclined. This especially since he was able to soothe her pain. Captivating her full attention.

"Sir, are you sure you're a muggle?" One of the Healers asked. "Your voice calms the patient's internal struggles."

Ron entered the room. "We're sure he's a muggle." He walked to her side. "Mione, Fleur will be staying with you until Harry comes back. We'll wait until she arrives."

"Fleur?" Hermione frowned, beads of sweat were forming on her forehead.

Ron wiped the sweat with his thumb. "Either her or Percy."

Hermione nodded. "George's busy?"

"Afraid so. The parents are also indisposed."

"Okay." She bit down on her lower lip as the pain started becoming unbearable again.

Ron grabbed her hand and squeezed it. He brought his lips by her ears and whispered, "Don't worry, I won't let Jimin meet her."

Hermione chuckled and looked at him with a forced smile.

"Hermione?" Jimin tried to get her attention.

She turned to him. "Yes?"

"Tell me your favourite song and I'll sing it for you."

"Make you feel my love by Adele." Hermione grunted.

"I have to study that song." Jimin made a mental note.

Hermione smiled knowing her request was far-fetched. "I am rather fond of butterfly."

Jimin nodded.

"Get to it, she's crushing my hand." Ron teased.

Hermione glared at Ron and hit him with her free hand.

Jimin smirked before clearing his throat.

...

The hour passby with Jimin singing his band's songs to help distract Hermione from the pain.

The Healers were amazed with her tolerance which allowed them to heal her faster.

"Looks like will finish by end of day." One of the Healers commented.

Ron let go of Hermione's hand when he saw someone peeking from the doorway. "Excuse me." He stood up and went by Jimin's side. "Continue singing. I just have to greet someone."

He left the room and met up with Fleur. "Let them have that last song."

"He's her charge right?" Fleur watched from outside.

He nodded.

"He looks like he's smitten with her."

"I know."

"You're okay with that?"

"Apparently he can distract her enough to forget the pain. She's doing well with the healing process."

Fleur nodded. "It might be that way because she..."

"I've already thought of that possibility."

"Did you ask me to come to test him?" She smiled at him.

"Discreetly." Ron stared at her.

"Okay. Do you still have feelings for her?"

"We'll see in a bit won't we?"

Ron re-entered the room and immediately stayed next to Hermione.

Hermione noticed his arrival and another person. She grabbed Ron's hand and glared at him.

"She arrived early." Ron explained.

Hermione felt furious. She watched at Fleur watching Jimin. Thankfully, Jimin didn't notice Fleur while singing.

Ron glanced at Fleur who was focused on Jimin. He couldn't understand how he felt. On one hand he's sure Jimin has real feelings for her on the other hand that means he's a real rival for Hermione's affection.

When Jimin finished his song. He was shocked to hear someone applaud so close to him. He turned to his side and saw Fleur.

"Jimin, this is Fleur. She'll be taking care of Hermione as we take our leave. I need to take you back to the hotel."

Jimin bowed at Fleur. "It's nice to meet you."

Fleur offered her hand. "The pleasure is all mine. You have an amazing voice."

Jimin took her hand and shook it. "I am pleased you enjoyed it." He smiled at her. He then turned to Ron. "Hermione needs me to distract her." He argued.

Ron caught Fleur's gaze and she shrugged. "I think Fleur can distract her in her own way."

Jimin turned to Fleur who smiled at him. He then turned to Hermione trying to check if she agrees with this decision. "Hermione?"

"You need to rest. You were in a car crash. Once the adrenaline dies down, you might feel body aches. I doubt Ron would be willing to massage you." She stopped, recalling the last time she massaged him.

The Healers exchanged knowing glances. Confirming that there was something between Hermione and Jimin.

Jimin frowned. "Fine. I'll wait for your return."

Ron kissed Hermione's forehead and said his goodbye. He nodded to the Healers and to Fleur.

He then led Jimin out of the door.

"Nice guys you have there." Fleur grinned at her.

Hermione was still upset with how Fleur acted. "He's a muggle. You shouldn't have done that."

"I think she's distracted enough." Fleur motioned told the Healers.
