Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here back with another story, this one about Steven Universe. I do not own Steven Universe. Rebecca Sugar and a few others do.

Lapis hummed and then looked to the side. She was curious as she paused, distracting what she was too busy to deal with now.

It was enough for her to walk on the shores, away from people she did not want to talk with. She was bored too much with life for now at the end of it all too much.

This was too much to deal with for and good… And she was now too bored, wishing to relax once again, unsure of what was occurring now and it would help them for now.

It was too much to deal with for now. It was enough for them all too much at the end of it all.

It had to be done… It would be done and that was a fact now and good for a good reason.

Lapis hummed; Steven was gone. Steven was gone and she was bored, Peridot was busy focusing on helping at Little Homeworld at the time.

That left her alone. Jasper had…

She existed and Lapis did not want to find the woman on the off chance she leveled a skyscraper being mad at the former Quartz soldier.

Which left her alone with her thoughts. She was curious as she thought of what was growing up on that when it was too much.

She was scared and worried. She did not know what to deal with in her life… It was boring.

She was interrupted by a sparkle in the surf. She blinked as it was a Gem. She looked at it, curious as to what it was… But she was curious and Lapis paused with too much interest upon her mind.

She would have let the gem float but Lapis was not heartless… She would not let a gem drown…

Even though she felt sad she felt adrift awkwardly on her mind.

It was enough, it would remain enough now and for a good reason. It would end, all things would as she felt tired, and curious now about all such things at the time being.

Lapis despite healing did not always find the ocean calming, it was a prison just like the mirror had been. She had been tired; nightmares had cut into her brain every time and again.

Still? Such work was odd… But it was not odd that they had taken such things to deal with.

All of it? All these things had been enough now, it would not help.

These things would end, all things had ended and would end forever and now.

It was too much now, far too much had been brought to bear upon the time being.

It had to end and it would end now, it would have ended now, and good.

Lapis hummed and pondered for a second before her conscience got the best of her, she sighed and kicked off her sandals, not wishing to tarnish the clothing with water.

She had since become used to the water for now and good and it bothered her.

A few seconds later Lapis began wading into the midst of the water, she felt cold and yet she had been here for a long time.

This would never help them as it had the others, she had been too tired and too thrown off when it was time to go into the water.

Then again? Lapis had lived in the water for a long time and it had been hard enough for her to deal with without Steven to help her, without anyone to have helped her.

It was enough now for them all at the end of it and for a good reason.

It was enough, it was enough for them all and she slowly wandered into the water, curious she was too curious for now and for a good reason.

Granted? She did not know what it was until she slowly waded out and grabbed it, water dripping off the gemstone as she hummed, curious why and how a gem…

She blinked and then her eyes widened. She guessed she looked insane but she felt insane now as she paused, thinking for a moment.

It could not be what she thought was said and done as it had been enough for now.

Author Notes

Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be 900-6500 words and will end up showing more of both Lapis and Peridot and talk about the unknown Gem. It will also be replacing the Lapis story I made before. Until then? Lighting Wolf will be out. Until the 2-10 months, Lighting Wolf is out!
