GHOSTS are small floating sentient machines that were created by the Traveler during the Collapse. Every Ghost has a unique personality and when they bond to their Chosen, a neural symbiosis develops between them.
Size: Small enough to be held in a human hand.
Shape: Ghosts all have the same core: a small sphere the size of a golf ball containing their eye. But aside from that, they can be equipped with a variety of shells, anything ranging from interlocking triangles to animal shapes.
Abilities: Their function is to find individuals capable of wielding the Light. Once they choose a Guardian, they are able to heal and revive their Chosen but if the Ghost is killed, the Guardian's next death will be permanent.
