HEY GUYS! This is my 1st attempt at a Helluva Boss story, as I had mainly written RWBY stories. Let me know what you think of the story so far.

EARTH - CITY

The city sprawls under a bright afternoon sun, an ordinary bustling metropolis. People are walking along the sidewalks, some chatting idly, others buried in their phones. Children are running in parks, laughing, their voices joining the cacophony of honking cars and the constant murmur of street noise. The mundane rhythm of the city is peaceful, blissfully unaware of the chaos about to unfold.

Then, out of nowhere, a loud voice shatters the calm.

"YOU FUCKING IDIOT, BLITZ!"

Loona's furious shout echoes through the street. People stop mid-step, turning to look at the strange scene unfolding before them. Blitz and Loona come barreling down the sidewalk, running for their lives, eyes wide with panic. Behind them, a squad of human police officers is in hot pursuit, shouting commands into their radios, weapons drawn. The officers' shouts grow louder as they close in.

Blitz, despite his fear, looks back at Loona with his usual, cocky grin. "Look, Loona, I said I was sorry! Can we talk about this later when we're not—"

"WHEN WE'RE NOT BEING SHOT AT?!" Loona snaps, her voice raw with frustration. She ducks as a bullets whizzes past her ear. "You just had to buy some cheap-ass spell from a random demon in the first place, didn't you?!"

Blitz's eyes widen as he dodges another shot, narrowly missing a cop's outstretched hand. "I didn't think it'd go this wrong, okay?!" He huffs, sweat running down his face. "Let's just focus on getting out of here!"

They turn down an alleyway, the echo of sirens and footsteps growing louder behind them. Loona, sharp and quick, doesn't hesitate. She vaults into action, slamming one officer into a dumpster, then taking another one out with a well-placed kick. The thud of the officer's body hitting the ground is barely heard over the chaos.

Blitz, not paying attention to the path in front of him, barrels into a set of stairs that appears out of nowhere. His feet trip on the first step, and before he can react, he's tumbling head over heels down the stairwell, limbs flailing wildly.

Loona winces, watching in a mixture of disbelief and annoyance as Blitz crashes onto the concrete below with a loud thud, his body splayed out in a ridiculous fashion. She shakes her head, muttering under her breath, "Why do I even bother?"

Her frustration is short-lived, though, as she hears the sound of more cops closing in from the alley's entrance. She curses and grabs a nearby metal sheet from a pile of discarded junk. With no time to lose, Loona slides down the stair rails, expertly navigating the incline. As she reaches the bottom, she grabs Blitz, still groaning from the fall, and drags him with her, not giving him a second to recover.

At the bottom of the stairs, a van screeches to a halt nearby, the side door opening to reveal Moxxie's panicked face. "Hurry up, you two! We're not gonna be able to outrun them much longer!"

Blitz and Loona dive into the van just as the first police car rounds the corner, sirens blaring. Moxxie slams the door shut and quickly looks over at Millie, who's sitting behind the wheel, her hands trembling as she grips the steering wheel.

"Millie! Go! Now!" Moxxie urges, his voice high with anxiety.

Millie, glancing nervously out the window, slams her foot on the gas, the van lurching forward with a squeal of tires. She glances in the rearview mirror at the approaching officers, her face pale with nerves. "I-I'm trying!" she mutters under her breath. "Just… just don't look at them. Don't look at the civilians…"

Loona slumps back into the van, still breathing heavily, and glares at Blitz. She grabs him by the collar and pulls him toward her, her claws digging into his shirt. "Okay, Blitz. You're gonna tell me where you got that damn transformation spell. Now."

Blitz winces at the firm grip but doesn't try to pull away. "I told you! Some low-class demon back in Hell—he was selling them for a good deal. I thought, what's the worst that could happen? It was supposed to be just a temporary thing—make us blend in with humans for a day or two! It didn't, uh, plan on turning into a ticking time bomb, though…"

Loona's eyes narrow, her fur bristling with anger. "A good deal? Cheap, you mean. You really went for a discount spell from some low-rent demon, Blitz?" She glares at him, frustration boiling over. "I should've known better than to trust you with this. Of all the ridiculous—"

Moxxie, overhearing the exchange, adds in with a hint of sarcasm, "Maybe next time, we'll spring for the 'premium' option, huh?"

Blitz sighs, throwing his hands up. "Hey, it was a gamble, alright? And it was working until it didn't. You try to make a deal in Hell and see how it turns out!"

Loona growls under her breath but doesn't say anything more. She just turns back toward the front of the van, her expression tight with anger and disbelief.

"Millie," she says, her voice cold and clipped, "head to the spot we arrived at when we first got here. We're not sticking around to explain this disaster."

Millie nods, her knuckles white as she grips the steering wheel tighter. "Right, got it. I'll get us out of here."

As the van zooms through the city streets, the group watches the skyline blur by. Eventually, they make their way out of the city, the streets becoming emptier as they approach a quiet area near the outskirts. In the distance, a faint glow begins to shimmer in the air, and the outline of a Hell portal flickers to life.

The van pulls up to a stop in front of the portal, and the group piles out. Moxxie sighs in relief, rubbing his temple. "Thank God that spell still works. At least we've got a way back."

Blitz lets out a deep breath, relieved but still tense. Loona is already moving toward the portal, ready to get the hell out of this mess.

But just as she says, "Let's go back—" a loud, guttural noise shakes the ground beneath them, making the air vibrate with its force. Everyone freezes, their heads snapping to attention as the sound grows louder.

"What the hell is that?!" Moxxie demands, his voice rising in alarm.

Loona grits her teeth. "Whatever it is, it's coming from the city."

They scramble up a nearby hill to get a better view, the noise growing more intense with each passing second. As Loona reaches the top, she looks out across the skyline, her eyes widening in shock.

The city they had just barely escaped from is now engulfed in a massive mushroom cloud, rising into the sky in an explosive display of fire and destruction. Buildings crumble to dust, and the once-bustling streets are now swallowed by the catastrophic blast.

Loona's mouth goes dry. She stares, speechless, at the horror unfolding in front of her. Her tail stiffens, her eyes wide as she mutters, "Holy fuck!"

She blinks, trying to process what she's seeing. But there's no denying it now.

"We're fucked…" she breathes, her voice small, almost drowned out by the shockwave of the explosion that reverberates in her chest.

HELL-OUTSKIRTS

The van rumbles over the cracked and uneven terrain, the harsh dust kicking up in the air as they finally approach the outskirts of Hell. The jagged rocks and molten rivers of fire stretch as far as the eye can see. The red sky, always a haunting shade of blood, flickers with a foreboding intensity as the van comes to a screeching halt just outside the familiar ruins of their home city.

The portal they'd used to escape Earth shudders one last time, its edges flickering as if it's about to collapse, before it finally disappears with a soft, lingering pop. For a brief, disorienting moment, everything goes still. But then, as if on cue, a surge of dust and fire bursts out from where the portal had been, rising like an ominous cloud of ash into the sky. The remnants of their escape flicker out of existence, leaving only the unsettling silence of the wasteland behind them.

The group stumbles out of the van, their eyes wide, still trying to process everything that's happened. The air is thick with the smell of sulfur and burning embers, but the sense of danger is undeniable.

Blitz, his expression tense and rattled, turns to Loona with a shaky smile. "Hey, Loona, pinch me. Just to see if I'm dreaming. This can't be real, right?"

Loona doesn't even look at him. Without hesitation, she balls her fist and punches him square in the shoulder, sending him stumbling back a few steps.

Blitz's face twists in surprise. "Oww! What the hell?!"

Loona shrugs, her voice dry. "You should've said 'punch,'" she mutters, arms crossed and eyes scanning the horizon.

Moxxie, still in shock, glances around at the desolate landscape. His eyes flicker to the sky where the last vestiges of the portal have evaporated into nothingness. "What did we just... what did we do?"

Millie, wiping the sweat off her brow, doesn't miss a beat. She stares into the distance, her face hardening with a mix of disbelief and grim realization. "We just blew up a whole city, Moxxie. A whole damn city."

The words hang in the air like a heavy weight, the gravity of the situation sinking in. The ground feels unsteady beneath their feet as they all turn to look at the sky. The red hue above them deepens ominously, and a strange vibration begins to rumble in the air. The blood-red sky begins to shift violently, as if something unnatural is twisting it from the inside out.

A new portal begins to materialize. It's massive, swirling with intense black and red energy, its edges crackling with raw, untamed power. The group stares at it, stunned.

Blitz squints, noting the unfamiliar size and ferocity of the portal. "That's new," he mutters. "I've never seen anything like it."

Loona's eyes narrow as she surveys the growing rift, an unsettling sense of dread building in her chest. "How many people were in that city?" she asks, her voice tight with unease.

Moxxie, ever the professional, pulls out a small tablet from his bag. His fingers move quickly, scanning the file he'd read before their mission to Earth. The tension in the air grows thicker as he reads the numbers off the screen, his voice low and grim. "According to the intel, there were 4,689,001 people in that city."

Loona swears under her breath, her gaze locking onto the swirling vortex that continues to grow larger by the second. "Well shit…"

Millie, whose face has grown pale, glances nervously at the sky, her hands shaking as she grips the steering wheel of the van. She swallows hard before muttering, "A whole lot of that number's probably coming down at the same time, huh?"

The ominous crackle of energy around the portal intensifies. For a moment, everything feels like it's holding its breath, the red and black swirling above them pulsing like a heartbeat. The portal opens wider, sending tendrils of red flame crawling out from its edges. The heat from the flames hits them like a blast of inferno, causing them all to instinctively back up.

Blitz's face contorts with both fear and determination. His eyes snap from the growing portal to the terrified looks of his teammates. He's beginning to see the full scope of the disaster unfolding in front of them.

"We need to get home. Now," Blitz says, his voice a low growl of urgency. The sound of red flames crackling behind him only heightens the sense of danger. "This... this is way worse than I thought."

Loona turns to him, her expression hard as steel, eyes full of silent fury. "I know. We're not getting away with this, Blitz."

The group stands in a tense silence, watching the vast portal spread open further, the fiery energy spilling into the air. The swirling black and red glow is almost hypnotic, but underneath it all, they all know it's a signal of something far worse than they could have imagined. Whatever's coming through is not just a consequence of their reckless actions. It's something far more dangerous.

And whatever it is, it's coming fast.

CITY

The city is in complete pandemonium. Fallen souls crash to the earth in fiery explosions, their bodies disoriented and screaming as they struggle to comprehend their new forms. Red-skinned demons with horns, strange, mutated bodies—chaos is everywhere. Buildings are crumbling, and cars are on fire. People are running for their lives, but it's all futile. The very streets seem to be consumed by flames and destruction.

Inside the I.M.P. van, Loona's hands are locked on the wheel, her knuckles turning white as she swerves to avoid another body crashing down in front of them. The city is unraveling in real-time, and she's barely keeping them alive in the chaos.

"FUCK! We fucked up so bad!" Loona screams, narrowly missing a falling soul. She cuts the wheel, sending the van skidding across the pavement as she slams the brakes to avoid a crumbling building.

Blitz, hunched over in the passenger seat, is wide-eyed and pale, his usual bravado nowhere to be found. "Yeah, no shit! And you're acting like we have a choice here!"

Loona growls, her voice rising. "We had a choice, Blitz! We always have a choice! You just never think things through!"

Blitz shakes his head, the weight of the situation sinking in. "Not the time, Loona!"

"I'm always right in the end," she snaps, her voice sharp. "And now look at what we've done! An entire human fucking city wiped out! We're lucky the Sins aren't here yet—"

"The Seven Deadly Sins take action when things get this bad, Loona," Blitz cuts in, glancing out the window, his usual sarcasm replaced by genuine worry. "If they find out what we did, we're dead. So, we need to get home. Get our stuff and get the hell out."

Loona's grip tightens on the wheel as she pushes the van even faster, dodging a falling chunk of debris. "You're damn right we need to get out of here. I'm not waiting around for the Sins to find us. But if we're going to survive this, we need to start thinking smarter."

Moxxie, sitting in the back of the van, finally speaks up, his voice hesitant. "You want to just leave? Now? Just like that?"

Millie, ever the practical one, turns around in her seat and looks between Loona and Moxxie. "If the Sins find us… and they know what we've done…" She swallows hard, her voice grim. "We're fucked. Execution. Straight up."

Loona swerves the van around a corner, her eyes locked on the chaos unfolding around them. "We're not getting executed, Millie. But we are getting the hell out of this city. Fast."

The van screeches to a halt in front of their apartment building. Dust and smoke fill the air as Loona slams the door open, and the group pours out, rushing toward the entrance.

Just as they're about to enter, a massive fireball crashes into the side of the building, flames licking the sky. The ground shakes beneath them, but Loona doesn't flinch—she pushes forward. They rush up the stairs, desperate to get to safety.

As they reach the top floor, another fireball crashes through the window. The room is briefly swallowed by flames before the fire snuffs itself out, revealing the shocked, terrified face of a new fallen soul—a demon with red skin and horns, still adjusting to their transformation. The soul screams as they look around, clearly disoriented.

Loona shouts, "NOW!" as she pushes the door open, and they rush inside.

BLITZ'S APARTMENT

Blitz and Loona immediately spring into action, grabbing bags, shoving anything they can into them. The apartment is in complete disarray, but their urgency doesn't stop for a second. Loona is throwing things in the bags at a frenetic pace when the argument begins, the tension between them finally boiling over.

"You know, I've been saying it for years, Blitz," Loona snaps as she slams a pair of shoes into her bag. "You never think ahead. You never plan for the consequences. You just—"

"I didn't know, Loona!" Blitz cuts in, his voice rising in a mix of frustration and guilt. "I didn't know that package was carrying a fucking nuke! How the hell was I supposed to know that?"

Loona slams the closet door shut and spins to face him. Her eyes are blazing with fury. "How were you not supposed to know? It looked like a goddamn nuclear bomb, Blitz!"

Blitz throws his hands up in exasperation. "What was I supposed to do? I saw it, yeah, but I didn't think it was going to—"

"Did you even open the package?" Loona cuts in, her voice venomous. "Did you look at it for even one fucking second before you handed it off?"

Blitz freezes, his mind flashing back to that moment—the odd shape of the package, its heavy weight, the unmistakable aura of danger surrounding it. He had noticed it. He had seen how it looked suspicious. But in his mind, it was just another job, just another mission. "I figured it was fine," he mutters, guilt rising in his throat. "I figured it was just part of the deal."

Loona glares at him, her fists clenched so tightly her knuckles are white. "You figured it was fine? You figured?!" Her voice rises with every word. "This isn't the first time you've screwed everything up, Blitz. First your fucking mother, then your stupid breakup with Stolas—someone I actually thought was good for you—and now this! Now we're stuck in this hellhole of a problem, and you've ruined everything! Everything!"

Blitz's heart sinks with every word. He opens his mouth to speak, but nothing comes out. He feels the weight of her anger—no, her disappointment—crushing him.

Loona's breath is ragged with emotion, her voice trembling now, but still tinged with fury. "Why does it always have to be you? Why does every single fucking disaster that happens have your name on it?" Her eyes are narrowed in disgust. "I can't believe this, Blitz. We're going to have to run away, because of you. And this time, it's not just our asses on the line, it's everybody else's."

Blitz stumbles backward, unable to look her in the eye. "I didn't mean for this to happen, Loona."

"I know you didn't!" she screams. "But you never learn! You never, ever stop to think, to pause for just one fucking second to figure out the right way to do something! First your mom—" She scoffs bitterly, her words hitting harder than any physical blow. "—then Stolas, and now this city? You've ruined your life, Blitz. And you've ruined mine too."

Blitz's face contorts as the hurt of her words sinks in. His eyes begin to water, but he forces himself to hold back the tears. He opens his mouth to say something, to try to explain, but nothing comes out. Instead, he just stands there, broken, as Loona picks up the last of her bags.

Loona turns her back to him, her voice icy, almost indifferent. "You've ruined everything, Blitz. And now we have to pay for it."

Blitz stands there, frozen, the sting of her words burning into him. He wants to apologize, to tell her that he didn't mean to, that he didn't know, but the words die in his throat. What good would they do now?

Loona grabs the last of her bags and walks toward the door. She doesn't look back, her face unreadable. She just sighs, leaving the apartment.

With that, Loona leaves, her footsteps echoing down the hallway. Blitz is left standing alone in the apartment, staring at the empty space where she was just moments ago. The reality of what he's done crashes down on him, and for the first time in a long time, he feels truly lost.

CITY

The air was thick with chaos as hellish fireballs continued to rain down on the city, each one crashing into buildings, streets, and parks with violent force. The scene was pure mayhem—screams, fire, and destruction. Demons scattered in every direction, trying to avoid falling debris and the overwhelming tide of souls being thrust into the city from above.

Inside the I.M.P. van, Loona's grip on the wheel tightened, her knuckles turning white as she swerved to avoid a fallen soul crashing into their path. "Fuck!" she cursed, maneuvering the van around the chaos. "We really fucked up this time."

Blitz sat in the back, his usual cocky grin nowhere to be found. Instead, he stared at the chaos unfolding outside the window, his expression distant and filled with guilt. The reality of what they'd caused had finally hit him, and it stung worse than anything else he'd ever experienced. Millie glanced back at him, her face a mask of concern.

"You okay back there, Blitz?" she asked softly, but he didn't answer. His eyes were glued to the madness outside, lost in thought.

Loona's voice cut through the tension. "Oh, for fuck's sake!" She swerved again to avoid a falling soul that crashed directly into their hood, leaving scorch marks on the van. "Can't catch a break!"

Moxxie, sitting next to her, glanced out the side window. His eyes widened as he saw some familiar faces among the chaos.

First, there was Vortex, a lanky, sharp-tongued demon from the Lust Ring, who was trying to dodge flaming debris. His usual smirk was replaced by a look of sheer panic as he ducked behind a car, trying to avoid a falling meteor of souls. Loona wants to stop and bring him with them. But she knows she can't.

Next, Verosika Mayday, the famous popstar from the Lust Ring, could be seen strutting through the streets in her usual over-the-top fashion, as though she was trying to turn the disaster into a concert. But even her confidence couldn't mask the chaos around her. Her glamorous outfit was singed in places, and she was fending off panicked civilians who were trying to flee.

Charlie Morningstar, the young princess of Hell, was seen running through the streets, her expression both terrified and determined. She had a group of demons following her, trying to keep their heads down as the city fell apart around them. Charlie was doing her best to maintain order, but it was obvious that even her natural optimism was no match for the madness.

Vaggie, Charlie's partner, was hot on her heels, trying to keep the group together, her usually sharp temper in check. Her face was grim as she pulled Charlie into a nearby alleyway, trying to shield her from a falling fireball that exploded in the distance.

And then there was Beelzebub, the Sin of Gluttony, watches from the roof of her mansion, with a horrified look on her face, an expression no one has ever seen from her before.

Loona cursed again, slamming the van's accelerator and swerving to avoid more fallen souls. The streets were a maze of destruction, and it felt like every corner had some new catastrophe waiting to happen.

Suddenly, Loona's eyes widened as an unexpected portal appeared in the middle of an abandoned parking lot, distorting the air with its unnatural energy. Her foot slammed onto the brake, and the van screeched to a halt just inches from the swirling vortex. Dust and debris kicked up as she slammed the van into park.

Before anyone could react, the portal grew larger, and from it stepped a very familiar figure—Stolas.

Blitz sees Stolas and immediately goes to the side door and opens it.

Blitz, caught off guard by the sudden confrontation, stumbled out of the van. Before he could say anything, Stolas was on him. With one swift motion, Stolas grabbed him by the collar and lifted him off the ground, his wings flaring with a dramatic flourish.

"What the FUCK have you done, Blitz?!" Stolas screamed, his voice a mixture of fury and disbelief. His eyes burned with anger as he pinned Blitz to the hood of the van, his talons digging into his neck.

Blitz stammered, struggling to catch his breath. "I—I didn't mean for this to happen, Stolas! It wasn't supposed to go this way, I swear."

Stolas' grip tightened. "Explain yourself. Now."

Loona, feeling her own blood begin to boil, stepped forward, her voice sharp. "Let him go, Stolas. We're leaving, and we're not sticking around for this. We've already done enough."

Stolas shot her a cold, icy stare, not even flinching at her defiance. His voice dropped to a deadly whisper. "No, Loona. You're not. You're not going anywhere." He turns to Blitz. "You're coming with us."

Suddenly, a deafening sound filled the air as more Hellish forces poured through the portal—heavily armored cops, surrounding the van like a cage of metal. Guns drawn and aimed directly at them. Moxxie and Millie froze, staring at the officers, their hearts sinking into their stomachs.

The officers swiftly closed in, pulling Moxxie and Millie out of the van, each of them forcefully handcuffed and dragged away.

Blitz tried to resist, but Stolas' grip was like iron. With a cold, commanding voice, Stolas spoke. "Get them all. Now."

Loona fought back, her claws extending reflexively in a flash of anger. She lunged at the officers trying to restrain her, but they were too quick. One of them grabbed her arms, twisting them behind her back, while another slapped a muzzle over her mouth, silencing her with a sharp tug.

"No! You're not doing this!" Loona screamed, struggling in vain as her body was pinned down.

Blitz, desperate, looked up at Stolas, his eyes pleading. "Please, Stolas... please don't do this to us. I didn't—"

Stolas' cold gaze never wavered. "The Sins will deal with you now. This is out of my hands."

With no further words, the officers moved swiftly, shackling Loona, Moxxie, and Millie before leading them to the portal. Stolas, without another glance at Loona, dragged Blitz through the swirling vortex, the officers following close behind.

The van was left behind, abandoned in the middle of the parking lot as the portal flickered and closed with a sudden snap. The city was still in chaos behind them, but it was already too late. They were gone.

The calm that followed was eerie, a silence broken only by the sounds of distant screams and the crackle of fires. And as the portal closed, the city continued to burn, consumed by the wrath of the Seven Deadly Sins.
