One ten year old Midoriya Izuku sat on the park bench staring ahead of him with an utterly blank face as kids and parents ran around him screaming in terror. Two high pitched cackles could be heard from behind him as the flames blazed higher engulfing even more trees as they spread. Soon another voice joined the two, screaming in anger spouting curses like there's no tomorrow trying to chase down the two pyromaniac brats.

Mitsuki truly didn't know where it all went wrong. Maybe the moment she decided she wanted another child. Katsuki should have been enough of a warning on his own, taking after herself in his violent disposition and love for cursing. The pyromaniac tendencies he started to display even before his quirk came in didn't help either. But Mitsuki ignored the signs and now she had to pay the price for it. As the flames flared even higher Mitsuki renewed her efforts in trying to catch her two pyromaniac brats.

Mitsuki liked to elude herself with the thoughts of what ifs. If only she caught the pyromaniac tendencies earlier in Deidara maybe she would only have to deal with one brat who loved to set things on fire instead of two but frankly, who was she kidding? It was a hopeless endeavor from the start.

It showed in how young Deidara's first word had been 'epvosion' after seeing Katsuki display his newly manifested quirk with utter smugness to his younger brother's delight. Young Deidara watched on with utter fascination on his face as Katsuki's hand let out small sparkles and pops like firecrackers. The look in his eyes could've been called almost crazed with how intently he focused on the small explosions. It was such an intense look that it could only be rivaled by the one present in his brother's eyes, both already utterly and deeply in love with the blazing glory of flames.

It all came to heads when Deidara's quirk manifested. If Mitsuki thought Katsuki's ability that let him set off explosions only with his sweat was bad enough she was not prepared for the chaos Deidara could cause with the ability to explode anything he touched. Truly small mercies for his penchant for artistic endeavors that let him avoid exploding every random thing her brat got his hands on. For most cases he kept to the statues he created from clay and on rare occasions his plastic toys. It sure didn't stop him from exploding a few annoying brats with his creations but it could have been so much worse in her opinion even if she had to deal with many many complaints from pissed off parents. They could all suck it up.

As Izuku sat still on the bench, fire roaring behind him he could only wonder how he ended up in this situation.

It all started as an entirely normal day. His mom was called into the hospital to cover a shift for one of her sick colleagues so he was unceremoniously dropped off at the Bakugos for a playdate. He was sit down with Kacchan and Deichan in front of the TV with a bunch of healthy snacks that Aunt Mitsuki prepared. His best friend and his brother didn't even spare him a glance as they both watched on with excitement as a new hero blew a villain through a building. They both cheered loudly as the concentrated pieces rained down everywhere.

After the news were over and it switched to the weather forecast Aunt Mitsuki ushered all of the upstairs to get ready to go out. With a go bag thrown together and both Kacchan and Deichan dressed, they all left the Bakugo's apartment to go to the nearby park to get some fresh air into themselves.

As soon as they got to the park both Kacchan and Deichan rushed off towards the treeline to climb some trees and whatnot with Aunt Mitsuki shouting after them to not to go too far. Izuku situated himself on one of the benches and pulled out his newest analysis notebook from his All Might themes backpack and started to observe the other kid's quirk around him. As time passed the pages slowly filled up with his observations.

Izuku's muttering was cut short as a loud bang sounded from behind him. Startled, he turned around just to see huge flames spreading from one tree to another while Kacchan and Deichan watched on with delighted cackles. Aunt Mitsuki's trouble brat radar must have pinged her cuz her head snapped towards the commotion from where she was amicably chatting with one of the parents. She let out a string of curses before dashing towards her rascalious brats.

Izuku watched on as Aunt Mitsuki tried to corral in Kacchan and Deichan to no avail. He slowly turned back around not even bothering to react to the commotion as parents and kids ran around him screaming in terror. He simply stared ahead of himself with a blank face wondering why they just couldn't have one quiet outing without any explosions.

But truly with both Kacchan and Deichan having explosion quirks it was to be expected. He only wished he had the time to finish his analyses before they started a commotion. With a sigh Izuku closed his notebook and tucked it away into his backpack and stood up to wait in front of the park for the commotion to be over. As he walked towards the entrance firefighters ran by him in hurry to put out the quickly spreading forest fire behind him. Stopping by the entrance gate, Izuku simply pulled out his packed snack and started eating while he waited for his aunt to pick him up.

Just as Izuku finished his snack, Aunt Mitsuki arrived dragging her two soot-covered kids behind her. With a motion for Izuku to follow they all headed back to the apartment. With some well deserved scolding from Aunt Mitsuki's part another ordinary day passed in the Bakugo household.
