(We then fade to the front of the mansion.)
Narrator: They say that pride comes before a fall. It looks like nobody told that to Mouse Fitzgerald.
(We fade to the front doors of the mansion)
Narrator: But if Jerry, Mia, and their whole family are gonna be saved, Mia's gotta come through. And she's only got one more chance.
(With the camera staying at the front doors, night fades to day with birds tweeting then the parade for Jerry is going on. Then day fades to night. We then cut over to the front of Mia's place, where she and Boss Taitei are having pizza.)
Mia Mouse: I wonder where Mouse Fitzgerald could be?
Jerry Mouse O.S.): See you, Mouse Fitzgerald! Thanks for the parade! (Laughs)
Mouse Fitzgerald: Laugh all you want!
(Mouse Fitzgerald opens the door.)
Mouse Fitzgerald: You won't be laughing tomorrow!
(Mouse Fitzgerald evilly laughs, but then stops.)
Mouse Fitzgerald: No wait, you will. Oh, never mind.
(Mouse Fitzgerald turns to Mia and Boss Taitei.)
Mouse Fitzgerald: Hi. Sorry I'm late.
(Mouse Fitzgerald closes the door and goes to sit beside Boss Taitei.)
Mia Mouse: The real reason I called both of you here again tonight is to...
(Mia starts feeling nervous.)
Mia Mouse: Is to... to...
Jerry Mouse (In Mia's thoughts): Remember Mia, you never need to be afraid to do what's right.
(With that thought, Mia finally shows courage and asserts herself.)
Mia Mouse: Your highness, someone is plotting against my family. Tomorrow, my people and I will be banished to the Island of Perpetual Tickling!
Boss Taitei: What? Banish the Brisby kids morher? Who would dare?
Mia Mouse (Angry at Mouse Fitzgerald): It's Mouse Fitzgerald!
(Mouse Fitzgerald is shocked, as is Boss Taitei.)
Boss Taitei: Is this true?
Mouse Fitzgerald: I don't know what she's talking about. She's crazy!
Mia Mouse: It is true!
Boss Taitei: (To Mia) Can you prove this charge?
Mouse Fitzgerald: I'm telling you, she's making it up!
(Mia shows the edict paper.)
Boss Taitei: Wait a minute, that's Jerry. I just gave him a parade!
Mia Mouse: Jerry is my cousin. His family is MY family!
(And the jig is up. Mouse Fitzgerald squeals. Boss Taitei gasps and angrily glares at Mouse Fitzgerald.)
Boss Taitei: You had me banish the man who saved my life and the Brisby kids new mother?!
(Mouse Fitzgerald squeals again.)
Boss Taitei: For your punishment Mouse Fitzgerald. you are to be sent to The Island of Perpetual Tickling, along with anyone else who dares scheme against the Brisby kids new mother and her family!
(The Grim Tickler slams the door open to Mia's home, going towards Mouse Fitzgerald.)
Mouse Fitzgerald: Nooooooo!
(The Grim Tickler tickles Mouse Fitzgerald with his feather and Mouse Fitzgerald laughs as he is tickled out the door, just like with the Skunk Brothers.)
Mouse Fitzgerald: (While laughing) Oh no, ple-he-he-ase stop it! Please sto-ha-ha-hap! Ha-ha, you're killing me, ha! Ha-ha-pretty please?
(Fades to black, then fades to Jerry at the mansion.)
Narrator: So Mouse Fitzgerald got what was coming to him, and then some. And Jerry, this is my favorite part.
(Oliver gives Jerry a paper.)
Narrator: He got Mouse Fitzgerald's old job. The number two guy in the whole mansion! Not bad.
(Jerry hands Boss Taitei the paper and draws a diagonal line on the 3 O's, winning Tic-Tac-Toe. Then we cut over to the mansion balcony, where Mia is shown smiling and proud of doing the right thing as she watches the sunrise.)
Narrator: And Mia, what a gal! She showed more courage than ten boss's & saved her people! Now, she wasn't born for greatness, she didn't go to school for it, she just learned that sometimes God has plans so big only He can see them. All she had to do was believe. Yep, she was just a regular kid, just like you.
