Chapter 6

Much to my shock, all of my sisters, besides Lisa, Lily…and Lucy, but I didn't notice she was not there, in the room. They were all frustratingly looking at me ready to pounce. I was so confused until I looked at the sibling group chat on my phone. And…I felt like my whole world was starting to crumble down into pieces.

Unknowingly, while I was helping Lily and Lisa, the process of my other sister's projects was falling apart. It was taking much longer for Lori to knock off some strokes from her golf game than she thought, even with Lynn and Lana's help. Lana got so impatient that she snuck off to start digging her fish pound. But the first wave of dirt she digs up hits Lori in the face, getting her and Lynn's attention.

Lori: "Lana! We're not done with my golf practice yet."

Lana (Continues digging): "You're taking forever! I want my fish pound to be done today. Not next year!"

Lana says as she accidentally throws more dirt in Lori's face. After wiping the dirt from away, Lori notices that Lynn has started to use the air pump from the garage to fill up a basketball.

Lori: "Lynn!"

Lynn: "She's right!"

Lori got so mad that she started to write on the sibling group chat on her phone telling me what was going on. While that is all happening Luna and Luan were...arguing. Getting into each other's faces.

Luan: "It's my traveling stage, Luna!"

Luna: "Why can't you share with me, dude? A stage like this would be perfect for my band to take around on gigs."

Luan: "Because your ideas don't go with my design! The whole thing will fall apart before I even have a chance to use it!"
With Leni and Lola, a clothes fight broke out. Leni couldn't remember if some pieces of clothing were hers or Lori's. And every time Lola pointed out which is which,

Leni insisted that it couldn't be right. This got Lola so frustrated that she threw a shirt at Leni. Then Leni throws a dress at Lola. And that was that.

Now I'm up against a corner with my sisters closing in on me, screaming their heads off. Not only mad at me for not answering their messages in the group chat. However, my idea of being the project manager did not work out as I promised it would. To make matters worse, Conscience is letting me have it too. And for some reason, his words are hitting much harder than my sisters.

Conscience: "I knew it! I JUST KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!"

He shouts before looking at me straight in the eye.

Conscience: "If you hadn't been worrying about going to the arcade with Clyde this whole time, your sisters would've been getting their projects done together happily. But no…YOU have to have the brilliant idea to have them work in separate groups, which leads them to get into each other's throats. Why do you do these things?! Making the situation more complicated than it needs to be. WHY?! You should be…"

As Conscience goes on, I can't help but feel…he's right. Not only my sisters are disappointed that their projects are not being done…okay…they're more than disappointed. And it's all my fault. Doing these projects today was very important to them, just like Clyde and I going to the arcade to play Marshmallow Sugar Blasters was very important to me. I should have considered their feelings. I feel so ashamed that my body is becoming weak, my head starting to hurt like crazy, and tears slowly coming down from my eyes.

Lori: "Lincoln…are you okay?"

Huh?
