For those who found this story when it was originally posted, I want to offer an apology. I have no excuses for abandoning the upload of this story where I did, except life got far more hectic all of a sudden and this fic took a back seat.
But, I know how infuriating it is to get swept up in a fic and then find it unfinished. I've been there, and if you experience that with Signal Fire, then I am so sorry.
To (hopefully) make up for it, I'm uploading the next 17 chapters in one fell swoop right now. It's still not quite finished, even writing it got forgotten about for a while there, but I do aim to finish it at some point within 2025 (that doesn't seem like too much to ask, right?). In the mean time, hopefully having almost double the story to read should (again, hopefully) make up for any frustration you may have felt.
