"Miss. Rose, I know that you're upset but…," said Ozpin before being cut off.
"She was never brought back, and there are two things that could have happened to her thanks to being left behind," said Ruby.
"Her dying was the only thing that could have happened," said Winter.
"Did you forget about the Hound that attacked us back at the Schnee Manor, the person inside it had silver eyes!" said Ruby.
"My mother could be dead or one of Salem's experiments because you sent her in alone and then abandoned her," she said before leaving the room.
"What have I done?" asked Ozpin while slumping down into a chair.
"You lied to us again," said Jaune.
"I only held back so I wouldn't hurt Miss. Rose more than she already was, she had so much weight on her shoulders," said Ozpin.
"And look where that got you," said Weiss before all the kids left. Meanwhile, Ruby had gone to a secluded area and was sitting on a bench looking up at the sky.
"Figured I would find you here," said the white haired member of team RWBY as she walked up to Ruby.
"Where are the others?" asked Ruby.
"Told them I'd find you so they went to get some rest," said Weiss.
"Good, they'll need it," said Ruby.
"Come on, you don't have to hold back around me, just let it all out," said Weiss as she sat down next to Ruby.
"There's a chance I'll have to fight my mother," said Ruby as she started to cry.
"And I may not even know it until it's too late," she said before Weiss pulled her in for a hug.
"I'm here for you, Ruby," said Weiss as her friend lost control of her emotions and just cried into her shoulder.
"I hate seeing her like this," she thought with a hurt expression.
