On December 7, 1941, Japanese forces launch a devastating attack on Pearl Harbor, the U.S. naval base in Hawaii. 6 months later, the Battle of Midway commences on June 4, 1942, as the Japanese navy once again plans a strike against American ships in the Pacific. As the Japanese and Americans engage in one of the most important and decisive battles of World War II.

When the dragons leave again for Dragon Island, just before Berk's biggest holiday, Hiccup and his friends find a way to pass the time until they return, in the form of a new game. However, though it helps them not to dwell on how much they miss their dragons, it also causes all sorts of craziness and shenanigans, much to the confusion of everyone else on Berk.

Set before the first movie. Hiccup wakes up on Snoggletog morning, grumpy. He hasn't really had a happy holiday in years, and he knows this one will be no different. The Berk PD is scrambling. Rumor has it famed criminal Drago Bludvist has returned but they have no leads. However Hiccup Haddock, a disgraced officer of the force, might have the answer. It's up to Detective Astrid Hofferson to solve the case and bring Drago to justice.

This is a novelization of Httyd, with a twist. For starters, Hiccup is a girl named Emer. Second, she has a twin sister named Gilda. Emer wishes to not be an outcast anymore, Gilda just wishes for them both to live. That's hard to do for two weak but smart girls in a society of war, bloodshed and battle ready Vikings. Emer downs a deadly dragon, and life changes for them both.

In this world the httyd characters are fighting owls. Stoick the Vast is the champion in the ring. Stoick's daughter is not a fighter and would rather be free then fight. But Stoick abuses her and tries to make her a killer. Hicca wants to be free like her mother and no become her father. (Genderbend, Toothcup)

In the modern future, an organization conducts questionable acts on dragons which will lead to Humanity's downfall and the rise of the dominance of dragonkind.

Hiccup Haddock has always felt like something was missing from his life but couldn't figure out what. He knows that he's not like his fellow peers but he'll realize that he's been looking for acceptance in all the wrong places.

Alternative reality Httyd fanfic where Hiccup gets taken at around the time of Httyd 1, Main story picks up again after about a year when the Dragon Master riding a Night Fury saves Berk from the dragon raids.
