AN: I'll admit I am a bit nervous about this one since we're now past the half way point and getting into the more heavy stuff. Usually this is the point that makes or breaks a fic so we'll see how it goes.

You will also notice strange words in this chapter. This is because I wanted to put in the language of the angel, Enochian, in this fic and other fics. However, I was unable to copy paste the actual language into and I can't paste images of it like on Ao3 so I had to put in a rough english translation instead.

Enjoy the fic.

Disclaimer: I do not own Helluva Boss and Spiroz, Milton, and Mitzy belong to artist DaniDraws. Hedwig and her brothers are mine though.

Finding the security room was relatively easy for Hedwig and Elrohir, thanks to the mall leading them through the signs posted everywhere for the visitors. It was creepy to fly around without any noise save for the regular radio music the mall was playing without end as all the humans in the mall were dead and turned to ash. Hedwig prayed for all those who found themselves caught up in such a tragic moment, but she kept one positive thing about the entire thing. The sudden loss of so many human lives was bound to catch the attention of the Angels of Death, who would want to investigate the incident once they settled everything down. If they could hold out long enough, they could get them to come over and help them deal with the demons clearly breaking the rules.

Of course, the downside to that was that Spiro and his family would be caught up as well, and they, too, were also breaking the rules in a sense. Hopefully, they would be able to send them home before anything happened. After finding the right door, Elrohir shot the lock open and kicked the door down, revealing a mid-sized room filled with lockers, desks with computers, and other assorted office supplies such as folder draws, message boards, and a coffee maker. There were also small ash piles, which made them feel nervous about walking in and being near the remains of deceased security guards. However, they steeled themselves and focused on accessing the security cameras.

"Here we go," Hedwig said as she spotted seven monitors connected on the most extensive desk while also locked to the wall with extension bars. After quickly switching the ash-covered seat with a clear one, Hedwig sat down and looked at the monitors showing various cameras throughout the mall. "Now, how do we operate it?"

"Should we find an instruction manual?" Elrohir asked.

Hedwig figured it was worth a shot and started opening the desk's drawers before finding a large pamphlet labeled "For New Beginners At Cross Stars Mall." Opening it gave quick brief details on how to operate the camera system as a cheat guide for new employees. Testing the controls a bit, Hedwig smiled upon seeing the monitors change from a camera in a woman's clothing department store to a video game store while also accessing the zoom feature.

"Okay, I think I got it," Hedwig claimed before she took out her phone and called Spiroz and her other older brother in a shared call. After a few seconds, both picked up, and she put her phone's speaker on., and put it on speaker. Once they answered, she said, "Spiro? Elladan? Elrohir and I managed to access the security cameras."

"Can you see us?" Spiroz asked.

Hedwig quickly flipped through the cameras until she saw Spiroz, Loona, and Milton right by the Mall's movie theater near the entrance while Elladan and Mitzy were hiding behind some plants nearby an Applebees. "Yeah, I see you both right now. Any sign of the demons?"

"None that I can...wait, hold on," Elladan spoke, making Hedwig tense. "Can you check what's ahead of us? Down by the Johnny Rocket's?"

Hedwig checked on the monitors and saw five cybernetic demons checking out the place before going in. One of them was standing guard while his comrades searched the establishment before exiting to move to the Chipotle's next to it. "Yeah, they seem to be checking every restaurant as they make their way down to you. They're about eight restaurants ahead of you."

"Then we'll wait here and do an ambush on them at the Applebees we're next to," Elladan suggested as he and Mitzy both rushed into the restaurant.

"Just don't get killed, brother," Elrohir said. "Unless you want me to take your top bunk on your bed."

"You two still do bunk beds at your age?" Loona asked on Spiroz's phone.

"What's wrong with that? They're fun. Anyway, I'll call you when we're clear," Elladan replied before hanging up.

"Well, I don't know what we're going to do," Spiroz said as he looked around. "I'm not seeing anyone else around us and-"

From the corner of her eyes, Hedwig saw something moving behind one of the benches facing the same direction as the movie theater. Curious, she zoomed in as Spiroz continued to talk and gasped upon seeing one of the cybernetic demon assassins raise their gun and aim at the movie theater. Without hesitation, Hedwig screamed, "Everyone duck! Now!"

All three demons did so in a split second, just as a shot nearly took Spiroz's head off. Upon seeing their attempt missed, the demon and four others got out of their hiding spots and started firing at once. Loona dragged a stunned Spiroz into the movie theater with Milton behind them.

Hedwig quickly started flipping through the cameras with the hope that they were okay as Elrohir put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her as she started praying that God was okay, showing his mercy to a few demons today.

Spiroz was starting to regret not believing his father's rule about having at least six firearms on you at all times when you go out. Of course, Spiroz rarely ever went out, and when he did, he was always with someone who was more than capable of taking care of any dangers. After all, practically everyone within his family or associate family was either a high-powered magic user capable of turning people into stone or an assassin who knew a hundred ways to kill you.

Then again, he wasn't expecting to get targeted in the human world. That was such a risky thing for any demon to try. Whoever wanted them dead must have been either willing to pay a lot or had enough influence to hire a group willing to make such a move. Of course, this was all moot to the point, as figuring out who was behind this was secondary compared to surviving in the first place.

Loona had practically dragged him into the movie theater, with Milton following them with his knives drawn. The three of them took a moment to catch their breath while Milton gazed at the movie list. "Oh, hey. I didn't know Werewolves Nazis vs. Vampire Communists had a sequel out."

"Worry about that later. We need to figure out what to do," Loona said as she looked at the entrance. "Any ideas?"

Spiroz looked around, trying to think of an idea, before he noticed the "No Smoking In Theaters" sign and got an idea. Quickly, he got Hedwig back on the phone. "Hedwig? Angels can bless regular water and turn it into holy water, right?"

"Yeah, but why?" Hedwig asked on the other line.

"I have an idea, but first, you need to find the water system connected to the sprinklers and start blessing it. Call me back when you have it all set up," Spiroz replied before he ended the call. Turning to the others, he said, "Now all we have to do is keep them distracted long enough."

Upon saying this, there was a large explosion at the entrance, and the doors were blown wide open. Milton, gulping, suggested, "Then I suggest we start running and fast!"

The three did so just as they were fired upon.

Meanwhile, Applebees was being visited upon by five demonic beings who weren't there to try the hot wings but instead looking for their targets. The five looked around from under the tables to behind the bar, but none could see any sign of the angels or lesser demons they were hunting.

"Find anything?" Lendric asked one of the others.

"Negative."

"Then this place is a bust," Lendric grumbled before turning to the others. "Let's get out of here and move to the next one."

They were about to turn around and leave when they heard someone say, "Hello! Welcome to Applebees!"

They turned around and saw one of the twin imps, the female one, dressed in an employee uniform, waving at them near the kitchen. "Thank you for coming! We have a special tonight where, if you have a party of five, you get a death-delight special that is hot and spicy that will leave your taste buds exploding!"

Their response was to raise their weapons and fire, but she ducked into the kitchen doors to avoid getting hit.

"After her!" Lendric shouted as they rushed into the kitchen. Smashing through the door, they raised their weapons to fire but found nobody around them. "Search around! She has to be close!"

The five of them spread out and started looking or opening up any doors from fridges to bathroom supply rooms to find their target. However, a few minutes later, Lendric noticed something on one of the food placement tables and walked over. Confused, he saw that it was a birthday cake with lit candles on it that read "Happy Death Day XOXO!"

Lendric wondered what that meant until his nose caught an odor that widened his eyes. This is!

He snapped his head up and saw, near the stoves and ovens, a few gas pipes were broken and leaking out their contents.

"SHIT! GET OU-"

A loud explosion nearly rocked Hedwig off her seat as she fumbled around to keep herself on balance. Her brother had already left to find the water tanks to bless them, as Spiroz suggested, while she looked into how the sprinkler system worked when the explosion happened. Confused and worried, she fled to the camera system and saw her other brother, Elladan, looking at a ruined and burning Applebee's with approval.

Quickly getting him on the phone, Hedwig asked, "Elladan?! What in the name of Mother Mary did you do?!"

"Oh, hey, Hedwig. Me and Mitzy decided to try a new dish for Applebee's! We call it the Crispy Fried Demon Sirloin!" Elladan responded.

"Where is Mitzy? Wait, don't tell me she's inside that burning building!" Hedwig shouted in horror.

"Um, hello? She's an imp, remember?" Elladan said with a laugh as Mitzy, looking undamaged and happy as ever, hopped outside and high-fived Elladan. "Imps are immune to fire. You'd think you'd remember that little miss expert on demonology."

"R-R-Right!" Hedwig stuttered while doing her best to save face. "I-I knew that! I was asking out of...uh...curiosity! Not concern!"

"Lying is a sin, Little Sis. Do we need to go to confession after this?" Elladan teased before something got his and Mitzy's attention.

Hedwig also looked and saw four figures slowly coming out of the burning building. They were moaning, almost zombie-like, as they slowly fell and started crawling out of the burning building. They were burned nearly head to toe and gasping for breath as the explosion mixed with the cooking chemicals, fire, and gas had become hot enough to melt their cybernetic armor into their skin and caused them great pain.

"Sorry, but we'll finish things here before we head to the movies to help your boyfriend. Talk later, Hedwig," Elladan said before ending the call.

"He's not my boyfriend!" Hedwig shouted in frustration while blushing up a storm.

"Yes, he is," Elrohir said, which made her jump and nearly punch the older angel, who smiled at her. "Come on, Hedwig. Anyone can see it. You like him more than a friend."

"T-T-That's..." Hedwig lowered her red face and squeezed her hands a bit before shaking her head. "We have more important things to worry about. Did you get the water blessed, as Spiro asked?"

"Yeah, but I wonder why he wants it blessed?" Elrohir asked.

"We'll find out soon enough," Hedwig said as she began to call him.

"How many bullets do you think they'll take before dying?" Elladan asked as he loaded up his angelic steel Colt 1911.

"About six or seven," Mitzy said with a devilish grin. "It all depends on where you shoot."

"I'll take two, and you take two then," Elladan replied as he aimed the assassins.

"And here I thought Angels didn't know how to be bloodthirsty and sadistic," Mitzy said.

"My mother was a former demon before she repented. I got it from her," Elladan smirked and stared at the worried demons. "Besides, they attacked my family. And I'm willing to act a little devilish if it means protecting them."

"Okay. Now I definitely want to be friends with you."

The two then started firing their guns while grinning at the suffering of the dying demons whose cries of pain and agony only fueled their smiles.

The five remaining demonic assassins continued sweeping the movie theater's hallways. They had tried using some of their more advanced equipment and scanners, but to their misfortune, the earlier attack from the angels damaged them. Their prey disappeared not long after they had entered the establishment and tried to catch them, but they seemed to give them the slip, constantly diving into the dark theaters and leaving them.

They were now reuniting on the second floor, planning to decide where to go next.

"Any sign of them?"

"Negative."

"I thought for sure they went through here."

"Alright, let's check the next-"

"Quiet!" One held up his hand, and the others went silent before pointing to Theater Number 11. "I heard something from that movie theater room. Form up. We'll smoke them and head inside."

Nodding, the group quickly positioned themselves by the door leading to the theater room. Two were on each side of the door, while the final one held a smoke grenade in their hands. Nodding to his comrade on the right, the grenade-wielding demon assassin pulled the pin and threw the grenade in once his comrade opened the door. The team waited three seconds after hearing it go off and the smoke spreading around the room before charging in with their pulse rifles.

Rushing in, they swept the entrance and then moved into the main seating line, waiting for the smoke to clear. However, there was no sign of either of the three that they were hunting. However, something was playing on the screen:

"You! You're not Sylvia! You're one of the Kung-Fu Creatures on the Rampage...Three!"

"It was just the stupid movie. Let's get back-"

SLAM!

The five turned around to see the doors slam shut. "What the?!"

"Now! Turn them on in Movie Theater 11!" Spiroz screamed into his phone as he, his sister, and Milton held the doors closed.

The five were about to charge back the way they came when they heard sounds coming up above. Turning their heads upward, they saw the sprinkler systems activate and rain down upon them. At first, this only confused them, but once the water hit their bodies, sizzling echoed in their ears, followed by their screams as the water melted through their armor and into their skin. The water felt like fire and ice mixed with shards of hot glass inserted into their bodies. Their blood felt inflamed as their demonic-powered equipment soon started melting like goo.

Metal and flesh soon mixed while they scrambled to find a way out of the room from the water that felt like acid pouring down upon them. However, the pain was too much, and they fell, wincing and twitching as their bodies started to convulse among themselves. The water was sinking right through their bodies, inner organs, and blood streams, causing them to slowly melt with the power of holy divinity washing away their very existence.

"H-H-Holy...w-a-wa-water!" Someone muttered, but by then, it was too late. Their veins started to become pure blue, and cracks began to appear on their limbs. The holy power was already flowing through their bodies as their screaming intensified. One by one, light began to glow from the crack, threatening to rip through their barriers.

Finally, they all explode in a giant white, blue, and red mist.

Nothing was left, but pure liquid remains of their demonic bodies.

"...Holy fuck, I'm glad we're not in there," Milton whispered in awe and terror upon seeing just how bad Holy Water could be for demons. It was one thing to hear about it. It was another thing to see it all together.

"I don't feel sorry for them, but I'm sorry to learn that they made a sequel to Kung-Fu Creatures On The Rampage 2," Loona pointed out in disbelief. "Seriously, I know Hollywood cares fuck all, but for real?"

"Either way, we're safe, and that's all that matters," Spiroz said with a high before noticing that the water was starting to stream towards them. "So let's get as far away from the wet and holy room before it seeks through the cracks and makes us turn into a liquid soup."

"Sure, but mind if we stop at the lobby? I could use a treat," Loona said.

"How the hell can you think about eating after what we just saw?!" Milton asked in disbelief.

"Because I haven't eaten anything since we got here, and I'm starving. Plus, running for your life works up an appetite," Loona replied as she walked towards the nearest concession stand before starting to get some popcorn.

Milton rolled his eyes. "Hellhounds."

With all the assassins dead, everyone agreed to meet back at the music store where they first encountered them. However, despite everyone being glad that they made it out alive, there was one thing that they all noticed upon looking outside. The shield wasn't down, and the means to portal out of there were still activated.

"What the hell?! We've killed all the bad guys so why are we still trapped here?!" Mitzy growled in frustration. "Do I need to put more rounds into their skulls to ensure they're dead?!"

"Perhaps there is outside interference as well," Elrohir suggested as he looked toward his twin, who nodded in agreement.

"Something that is beyond our reach or has not yet given up on trying to deal with us," Elladan replied.

"Regardless, it's quite concerning," Both twins agreed.

"I'm still getting no signal towards Dad or Stolas," Loona grumbled as she put her phone away. "So what do we do? Stay here until someone finds us?"

"Considering that a bunch of humans got killed via demonic weaponry, I'm surprised Heaven hasn't sent someone to investigate what's going on yet," Hedwig said with a stern look. "However, it's only a matter of time."

"We're missing something," Spiroz muttered as he rubbed his temple. "Are we sure we killed them all?"

"We just saw five demonic assassins explode as if they were balloons. I'm pretty sure we're not going to forget that," Milton replied.

"And we spend seven minutes caping four of the bastards, so I'm pretty sure they're dead too," Mitzy said to her twin brother.

Upon hearing this, Hedwig instantly turned to Mitzy. "Wait, you said four?"

"Yeah?"

"But I saw five heading towards you..."

Everyone went quiet.

"Oh crud, we missed one," Elladan realized in surprise.

"Wait, maybe he died in the explosion!" Mitzy replied as she turned to the angel. "I mean, sure, all of them survived by the skin of their teeth, but they were weak enough to finish off. But that doesn't mean-"

"We can't take the chance. We have to find him and kill him, but he should be weak enough for us without any problems," Loona pointed out.

"I'll head back to the security room and check the cameras," Hedwig said as she flew out to head to the store's exit.

However, a burned hand grabbed her wing, much to her shock. Hedwig yelped before being turned around as an arm was wrapped around her neck, holding her tight. The others gasped upon seeing this and tried to move until they saw a hell pistol aimed at Hedwig's temple. Gasping for air, Hedwig gazes upward to see one of the demonic assassins, just as burned and damaged as his comrades, holding her hostage with his visor half broken showing one red eye full of rage. He sneered and slowly moved forward with Hedwig in his grip.

"Hedwig!" Everyone shouted, with Spiroz and the twin angels being the loudest. In an instant, the aura of the heavenly twins lit up, and their wings spread full while aiming their holy steeled Colt 1911s at the demon.

"Let her go!" Hedwig's brothers shouted, their powerful voices echoing across the mall's corridors.

"Don't move, or the angel bitch dies!" Lendric cried out with rage as everyone froze. "I'll fucking do it. Try anything and send her back to your fucking God without a head!"

Growling, the angels slowly backed down but kept their guns raised as everyone else held their breath. Lendric coughed a bit before slowly moving forward with his gun aimed at Hedwig. "You...motherfucking half-breed..."

"M-Me?!" Spiroz asked in surprise.

"You were supposed to be an fucking easy target. But not only are all my comrades dead, but you humiliated me! I nearly got killed because of a fucking imp and an angel! I've dealt with more powerful shitbags than you, but you are so fucking annoying! All of you!" Lendric screamed as he stopped in place. "Why couldn't you just be a good little boy and die!"

"Who hired you?!" Loona shouted.

"Like I'm going to fucking tell you!" Lendric hissed as he narrowed his eyes at a frightened Spiroz. "So here is how this is going to go. You are going to come over here and take a bullet to the fucking head, and I'm going to complete my contract."

"Like we'll fucking let you!" Loona screamed as she looked ready to rush over there and tear the assassin limb from limb.

"If you have no way out, why bother?!" Mitzy asked in disbelief.

"An assassin always kills their target or dies trying. That's how it always is. Even if it means ending my life, I have to take the target out so at least my mates didn't die in vain," Lendric explained before shoving the gun further into a teary-eyed Hedwig's temple. "The question is, can you stand to see your friend die in your place? I already know this angel is important to you, so are you going to let her die?!"

"Don't listen to him, Spiro!" Hedwig shouted before there was a quick gunshot. "AAAAGHHH!"

"HEDWIG!" Everyone screamed in horror as she fell to the ground, her right leg bleeding as the assassin continued to hold her. His knee was on her neck as he quickly repositioned the gun on her head after shooting her limb.

"Talnagonfamgon Ordontalveh!" roared Elladan in a strange clicking sound language that made the demons look at him with confusion. He and his brother's eyes were glowing white, their feathers lighting up with tiny wisps of holy white fire circling him.

"Speaking Enochian isn't going to make a difference!" Lendric screamed back as both brothers held back despite Hedwig sobbing from the pain of her wounded leg. Spiroz stared at her as she looked at him with fearful eyes. "Now... What's it going to be? Your little angel friend? Or you."

"H-Hedwig..." Spiroz whispered in horror upon seeing her lying there.

Bleeding.

Hurt.

His best friend.

Held by this...this monster.

Others were saying something, but Spiroz didn't care. All his focus was on Hedwig, who was crying. He made her cry. He hurt her.

"...Unforgivable..." Spiroz whispered as he lowered his head and began to tremble.

"Huh?" Lendric muttered, narrowing his eyes.

"What you have done... hurting Hedwig...hurting my friends...my family...just to get to me..." Spiroz grumbled as he took deep breaths.

Something inside of him was stirring.

Something was trying to get out.

And for some reason, Spiroz didn't care what it was.

All he wanted was to make this bastard pay.

Just for once, he wanted someone who hurt him to be hurt back.

Just for once...

"I..."

...he wanted...

"...will..."

...to go all out.

"...FUCKING KILL YOU!"

In an instant, a burst of red, blue, and black light erupted from a screaming Spiroz that knocked back everyone behind him. Even the twins were soon thrown into the wall from the sheer power erupting from Spiroz. However, it wasn't just that. There was also something emitting from the half-breed that made everyone freeze up in terror. The ground beneath them was shaking, and the air around them was suddenly burning up as if Hell had opened up. Glass shattered not just in the music store but a dozen other stores nearby.

Spiroz didn't just scream. He fucking bellowed with a cry that neither sounded natural, demonic, holy, or anything other description the witnesses there knew. Such a voice sent chills down everyone's spine as the entire room continued to glow with Spiroz's sudden power burst, all while light hid his form from the intensity. However, what little they could see showed that something was growing from Spiroz's back, and a shadow-like form was extending from his arms with sharp claws.

"S-Spiroz?!" Mitzy shouted in shock as the aura increased, forcing her to cover her eyes.

"What's going on?!" Milton screamed, protecting his face from the light.

"I don't know! He's never done this before!" Loona screamed with confusion and worried in her tone. "This...this is...I don't know what the fuck it is!"

Suddenly there was a second burst of power. Only this time, a sense of dread and rage emitting from Spiroz made everyone, even the assassin holding Hedwig hostage, freeze without any willpower to move. Lendric jaw dropped, and his eyes widened upon feeling most of the dark animosity directed at him. It washed over him so suddenly and without warning that his brain completely shut down from the intensity.

All Lendric could do was stand there, frozen, while every instinct commanded him to move. He couldn't even control his finger to pull the trigger. He was utterly helpless as it seemed like death was in front of him physically, staring at him with glowing blueish-white eyes with a hint of red tints.

Then it moved.

One moment it was there, and the next, it wasn't.

Lendric wondered what had happened until he saw something in his vision.

Bleeding slash marks. It was slash marks. As if they were right in front of his face.

His blood.

Lendric didn't even get a chance to scream or feel pain as his entire body was split into multiple pieces without anyone seeing anything. Nearly as soon as they separated, they disintegrated in a flash of pure black fire. Hedwig lay there, unmoving until she realized her hostage take was no more.

Slowly, she turned around, and soon the aura imitating Spiroz was gone in a flash. Everyone opened their eyes and saw that it was over. Where Spiroz was once standing, there was only a melted hole in the concrete floor that had melted from the sheer intensity of the intense power. As for Spiroz himself, it took them a minute to find him lying outside of the store, lying on his side, looking no different than before but taking in deep breaths.

"Spiro!" Loona shouted as she finally found the strength to move and rushed over to her brother. The imp twins were beside her and soon helped him up as he moaned while holding his head. "Are you okay?!"

"My head...my chest..." Sprioz whispered as he rubbed them both. "What happened?"

"Dude, that's what we want to know!" Mitzy shouted with worry. "You just went all Super Saiyan or something and just...I don't know...went fucking overdrive on the guy holding Hedwig hostage! There isn't even an atom left of him!"

"He-Hedwig? Hedwig!" Spiroz screamed as he got up and rushed over to his fallen friend. To his relief, she was being helped by her brothers. Elrohir helped position her to a better sitting position while the other twin was already healing her leg with his glowing hands. A few seconds of miracle power, and it was like Hedwig hadn't been shot at all. Overwhelmed with relief, Spiroz wrapped his arms around the snow owl angel and sobbed into her shoulder. "Oh, thank whoever, Satan or God, I'm glad you're alright!"

Hedwig gave a small smile before placing a calming hand on his cheek. "I'm okay. Thank you."

"What...was that?" Elladan asked as he looked at Sprioz in awe. "That wasn't demonic but wasn't angelic either. I never...I never felt such power."

"I...I don't know," Spiroz whispered as he slowly backed away and pressed his hands to his chest. "I just remember wanting to save Hedwig and being so angry at that demon I...I felt like I was going to burst."

"Well, that's a tame way to describe what you did," Milton replied with a shake of his head. "It felt more like you erupted or something."

"Hey, look!" Elrohir pointed to the nearby exit and saw that the barrier preventing them from leaving was clear. And it also looked like whatever it was that had prevented people from going in and caught the attention of the outside world as there were police cars, ambulances, crowds of people, and news crews outside in a large gathering.

"Shit, we better get out of here," Loona shouted as she quickly performed the ritual to open the portal back home and sighed in relief upon seeing the familiar hallways of home. "Come on, you brats! Let's get out of here!"

"We better go home too," Elrohir replied as his brother opened a gate to Heaven. "Come on, Hedwig."

"But-" Hedwig looked at her friend before Sprioz put a hand on her shoulder and smiled.

"It's okay. We'll see each other later," He replied warmly.

Hedwig blushed but slowly nodded toward Spiroz. However, to his surprise, she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. With a nervous smile, she winked and muttered, "Thanks for saving me, Meddruxgonmedtal Talgonnauntalgisg."

"Huh?" Spiroz asked but whatever it was made the twin angels giggle and look at each with glee while Hedwig just lowered her head.

Before he could ask what she said, Spiroz was dragged away by the twins and pushed into the portal before the demons waved goodbye as did the angels before each group went into their respective portals. The authorities soon entered not long after, but none of them would know the truth of what happened at the mall.

"...Are you sure these readings are right?"

"Yes, sir. They fade away just as Lendric's life monitor went dead."

"...Get in contact with Lord Asmodus now. He'll want to know about this."

"So, you guys are okay with Hedwig and me being friends?" Spiroz asked as they sat in his room. He was on the mattress with his sister beside him while his twin friends stood nearby.

"Yeah, she's not so bad. Same with her brothers," Loona replied.

"Same! Especially Elladan! He's pretty cool," Mitzy said with a grin.

"Please tell me you're not falling for an angel, too," Milton asked, sighing heavily.

"Hedwig and I-"

"Bro? I think you two are kinda growing more into being just friends," Loona pointed out with a chuckle. "She kissed you on the cheek."

"L-Look, I've got enough on my plate, okay?" Spiroz replied with a sigh as he flopped to his bed. "I've got assassins after me. Again. You guys know my secret and..." He slowly lifted his hand and made it into a fist. "I somehow unlocked some weird power in me that I've never felt before."

"Yeah, are we going to tell our parents about this?" Milton asked nervously. "I mean, not the whole being friends with angels part. I mean the part where Spiroz just unleashed...whatever that was."

"No, they're going to ask questions that could lead them to discover about Hedwig and her brothers. Our dads hate angels. They would freak out," Loona said, getting up and dusting her legs. "We'll tell Octavia. Maybe she can figure out what it is with her magic. In the meantime, let's relax and plan a meet-up with the angels later."

A knock on the door quickly silenced everyone as Blitzo opened it and walked in. "Hey, there you four are. We've been trying to contact you all day. Were you out in the human world or something?"

"Uh, yeah...we uh...went to see a movie," Spiroz muttered nervously as the others all smiled as best as they could.

Raising an eyebrow, Blitzo asked, "What movie?"

"Um," Milton muttered as he rubbed the back of his head. "Kung-Fu Creatures On the Rampage 3?"

This made Blitzo gasp with shock before getting all excited. "They made another Kung-Fu Creatures on the Rampage movie?! Yes! I love that series!" He rushed out of the room and started yelling down the hallway, "Stolas! Get your Fandango account open! We're going to the movies tonight!"

The others sighed in relief before shaking their heads before Spiroz asked, "All in favor of seeing a good movie?" All hands were raised. "Good. I'll get the popcorn."

Meanwhile, in her room, Hedwig lay on her bed staring at the ceiling. The events of today had been a rollercoaster of a ride. Her best friend was attacked. Her brothers knew her secret. She and everyone dealt with a bunch of assassins. She got shot in the leg. Spiroz unlocked some strange power that saved her. And then she kissed him on the cheek.

And she liked it.

But what she called him really made her insides twist and turn.

Hedwig called Spiroz, "Meddruxgonmedtal Talgonnauntalgisg.".

In Enochian, it translated to "One of my heart."

An old saying that Hedwig had heard her father say to her mother many times. It was to tell someone they were the only one for their heart.

The one that they loved.

Hedwig slowly turned over and hugged her pillow to her chest as she finally accepted what had been deep inside her for a long time.

She loved him.

She loved a demon.

She loved Spiroz Goetia.
