This work follows The Hunger Games book from the POV of an OC. Some of the plot will be changed and/or dialogue will be different. This alternate timeline takes place 100 years after the Dark Days. The rebellion never happened due to Katniss never volunteering, although she won the 3rd Quarter Quell, which had a different twist. Not a SYOT, and rated T for violence due to it being the Hunger Games.

Post Mockingjay, Pre Epilogue. Peeta and Katniss are in the process of growing together. Peeta is learning about setting boundaries and taking better care of himself and Katniss is drowning in depression. How they grow together as friends and eventually, something else
