Tide goes crazy from the workload and starts hearing voices in his head.
PDF marched through the hostile Hive Spires, going from building to building clearing out any hostiles. It was during one such raid that a multiple dozens of PDF would suddenly lose their human forms, becoming classic flood forms. The PDF around them paying no attention to the transformation.
With a heavy sigh, Tide surfaced in his Domain, though not before undoing the changes.
"Primord-". Tide started but was cut off with a scoff.
"You're wasting time playing general. We could've been done with this planet months ago."
"I..only got here a few months ago". How was he supposed to conquer a planet in the span of a few days when he was a human merely a few hours prior.
"Exactly. You spend too much time playing the saviour and shepard while our enemies gather their forces! You know how dangerous this Universe is and yet you insist on continuing to guide the humans!"
Another voice joined in. "I actually like how slow you're going. Makes it easy to collect stories and make predictions."
With yet another sigh, Tide welcomed the new voice, "Hello, Teller."
"Hello, Tide! Did you know that if the Imperium caught wind of our existence, there is a 99.8% chance they would destroy the planet with exterminatus?"
"Yes, Teller. I do know. I'm going as fast as I can" Tide said in response to the well intentioned voice in his head. A sigh escaped his metaphorical mouth because he just knew who was about to speak again.
"Not fast enough! Use our full might to conquer planets and once we've infected the entire galaxy, we can work on being the savior and shepard you so desire to be".
Deciding to ignore both the idea and Primordial, Tide just left his Domain to continue his conquest of the remaining hostile spires. In a humane way.
He refused to be another blight in this universe.
