Mythical Mix Up
In Cambodia, there was a temple in the jungle called Angkor Wat which was a tourist attraction.
"Welcome, visitors, to the Temple at Angkor Wat." The spokesman said. "We hope you will enjoy your tour of this ancient and Grand Place built in the early twelfth century. And now world famous as the very symbol of Cambodia."
The tourists looked at the wall carving.
"The temple is admired for its architectures and bar leaf sculptures which adorn its walls.
The card capsule was stuck to the walls and fells off from it, cracked open it as the card touches the rock steps. The cards glowing, revealing a dinosaur called Stegosaurus, spooked the tourists.
"This was a bad idea!"
The Stegosaurus bellowed as the tourists was scared off by a dinosaur.
"Oh! As it was written! The mythological beast have returned." The old man said, mistaken the dinosaur as a beast. "Sound the alarm and evacuate these tourists immediately!"
They rang the gongs, sounding the alarm as Stegosaurus was bothered by a gong sound and headed to wall, crashing it and escapes to the jungle.

After school, The kids left the school after their pop quiz.
"So how'd you do on that pop quiz we took today, Max?" Zoe asked.
"Uh… good enough. I was the first one to be done." Max said.
They then heard an alarm from their Dino Holder and checked it.
"Cool! Another dinosaur appeared!"
"Let's go!" Zoe said.
They hurried to the D-Lab.
The kids arrived in the D-Lab while Terran is waiting for them.
"Where's the dinosaur this time?" Max asked.
"Cambodia. In the Southeast Asia." Dr. Taylor said, looking at the monitor.
"And Angkor Wat to be exact." Reese added.
"Which is a famous temple by the way. Surrounded by dense jungle and ancient ruins."
"Awesome! Let's go!" Max declared.
Terran and the kids headed to the teleported as they dropped their school bags until Spike noticed Max's pop quiz.
"Tell me you didn't really get a 45 on your math test!" He steamed.
Max noticed and snatched the graded pop quiz from him.
"That explains why you were the first one done." Zoe realized as Max stuffed his graded quiz in his fanny pack. "You didn't put any thought into it."
"Yeah, I did." He slumped. "I thought I knew the answers."
"Listen to me, young man. When you get home, you're hitting the books!" Dr. Taylor said, sternly.
At Angkor Wat, Terran and the D-Team teleported in the temple.
"So this must be Angkor Wat." Max said. "Do you think we should start looking for the dinosaur inside?"
"I don't know. Judging from that wall, I'm assuming it's already gone." Rex said, noticed the destroyed wall.
"I wonder what kind of dinosaur did that?" Terran wondered.
"Children and sir, the temple is closed." The old man said as the locals came. "The mythological monster has awakened. You're not safe here."
"What mythological monster?" Max asked.
"It's a terrifying beast that came out of the jungle many years ago and destroyed entire villages in this area." He explained.
Rex walks up to the wall carving.
"This is it, huh?" He asked. "In this picture?"
"Yeah, but look. It shows some lady stepping on it." Max said, looking at the wall carving.
"That is the goddess Lola, who arose in human form to defeat this creature." The old man said.
"Lola, huh? Maybe she'll show up today and help us catch the dinosaur." Max muttered.
"Very funny." Zoe said. "You guys, I think it's pretty obvious they think the dinosaur is this monster of theirs."
"They probably mistaken this dinosaur as a monster that terrorized their village." Terran said, "So they must've seen it."
"I agree." Rex said.
"Then let's play along with them." Max said and turns to the locals. "We'll stay and help you fight that monster."
At Zeta Point, Rod and Laura is doing their study until Seth comes in.
"Laura, Rod, another dinosaur has appeared." He said, holding up the Alpha Scanners.
"Yeah? All right!" Rod beamed. "Come on, Laura!"
"Are you kidding me, Rod?" Lura said, stopping him. "If Helga catches sneaking out before all her homework is done, she'll blow a major fuse."
"She's too busy cooking to notice you." Seth said. "As long as you're quiet heading for the aircraft hanger."
"Perfect."
They left as Seth watches them. The kids had no idea that he was using them to get the dinosaur for his plan.
In the kitchen, Helga was cooking a meal while humming as Rod and Laura peered from the doorway. As they sneak pass the kitchen, Helga suddenly appeared in front of them, surprising them.
"Just where do you think you're running off to?" She asked.
"Uh, we were just going to do some research, right?" Rod said.
"Yeah, that's right! We're doing a report on the Angkor Wat Temple." Laura said.
"If it's a fact-finding trip you're taking, then I shall accompany you." Helga requested.
They gasped that their cook decided to tag along with them.
At the other room, Dr. Z was in bed while his back is still in pain.
"My back is killing me and you three only making it worse!" Dr. Z said, while Ursula feeds him with soup. "Why are you three when you should be in Cambodia getting me that dinosaur card?"
"Because we can't leave until you eat your porridge." She said.
"Helga thinks it's our fault you won't eat it, so she's refusing to feed us until you eat every bite." Zander said.
"But if you need help with that porridge, just let me know." Ed said.
"Open up the hanger, here comes the airplane!" Ursula feeds him, but Dr. Z yelled.
"It's so hot!" He yelled.
"You little spoiled brat!"
"Well, you burned my mouth!" Dr. Z snapped. "Now get out of here and don't come back without that dinosaur card!"
He started throwing his stuff at the Alpha Gang, who fled from him.
"For someone with the bad back, he's a mean fast ball." Ed remarked as they ran.
The Alpha jet begins taking off in the hanger as Helga is in pilot seat with Rod and Laura and flew in the tunnel before the Alpha Gang shows up.
"Where are Rod and Laura going with Helga?" Ed wondered.
"I don't know, but I hope there's another airplane." Zander, looking for another plane.
"No way! Am I getting into this one?" He said, looking at the half broken propellor plane.
Helga and the kids flew to the sky and headed to the Cambodia as the Alpha Gang flew to follow them.
"This is a bad idea." Ed said.
"Ed might be right for a change." Ursula said. "Are you sure this thing is safe, Zander?"
"Oh, come. What the worst thing could happen?" Zander said as the plane couldn't fly straight.
In the jungle, the locals is digging up a large hole as they can while Terran and the kids watched them.
"They're gonna try catching the dinosaur in this hole?" Max said.
"Yeah, they say they'll chase it in with drums and gongs." Zoe said.
"I'm so sure that's the best strategy." Rex said.
They heard a roar in the jungle.
"Over there!" Max said before following the sound.
"Grab your things and let's put plan into action!" The old man instructed them.
Terran and the kids follow the sound in the jungle until they found Stegosaurus, who was drinking the river and moves along the stream while they hide in the bushes.
"Wow!" Rex awed.
"Would you look at that?" Terran said, looking at the Stegosaurus.
"Just look at the size of the Stegosaurus!" Zoe said, astonished.
"Be careful kids. That's a legendary monster."
They looked behind them to see the old man and the locals.
"What are you gonna do?" Max asked.
"Shouldn't we wait to see if Lola returns to take care of it for us?"
"There's no time to wait for that." The old man snapped. "Now make some noise, everyone and begin herding the monster toward the hole."
The locals begins banging the gongs as the Stegosaurus is being bothered by them and the gong noise they're making.
"Begone foul breast! Go!"
The Stegosaurus bellowed and headed through the jungle.
The Alpha jets flew over the jungle on their way to the temple.
"Oh look, Laura!" Rod pointed something at the window near Laura's side.
"Huh? Oh! It's a Stegosaurus!" She said, seeing the Stegosaurus running through the jungle.
"So now what?"
"Let's just tell her we can't do our research until we get rid of the dinosaur."
"What is this whispering?" Helga turned to them, making them smiled, sheepishly.
"We came here because our history assignment was to study the Angkor Wat Temple but there's a problem." Rod said.
"What problem?" She inquired.
"It looks like there's a big dinosaur running around down there." Laura said As Helga saw the dinosaur down the jungle.
"Which would be a little disruptive to our studying, right Laura?" Rod said.
"You're right. Maybe we should just go and take care of that dinosaur instead." Laura said.
"Nice try. But you two will not get out of your homework that easy." Helga said, firmly. "I'll take care of that dinosaur!"
"What?!" They gasped.
Helga opens the windshield and jumps off the Alpha Jet as the kids watch her go.
"She was serious!" Laura said.
As Helga falls, she turns over and uses her apron as a parachute to slow down the falling and landed near the temple. Stegosaurus was spooked by it as the Terran, the kids, and the locals saw the dust in the hole.
"What's that thing?" Max said, saw the dust from the hole.
When the smokes clears, they see Helga.
"Who is that?" Terran asked.
"Ah, look!" The old man gasped in surprised. "The goddess Lola has returned to vanish the monster just as the legend described."
"And sure enough the monster fled as soon as she appeared."
"Hate to break it to you, that's no goddess." Zoe noted.
"That's the cook from the Alpha Gang's headquarter." Rex said.
"And it's Olga, not Lola." Max said.
"Wrong, the name is Helga!" She said.
The locals rushes over to Helga.
"Seriously?" Terran shook his head.
"They think that old lady's a goddess!" Max said.
Somewhere in the sky, The Alpha Gang is still flying to the Cambodia until someone called her old lady.
"Who's that old lady?" Ursula snarled. "I want this bucket of bolts on the ground now!"
"Careful what you ask for because unless E stands for excellent, I think we're out of gas." Zander said.
"I'll go with excellent." Ed said.
As soon as they said it, the plane stopped working and dropped down to the jungle.
"Wrong again!" They yelled as they crash landed in the jungle.
Landing the Alpha Jet in the clearings, Rod and Laura sets out to the jungle and the Stegosaurus.
"Can you believe Helga would just jump out of the plane like that?" Rod said while running. "Do you think she could survive the fall?"
"Yes, I'm sure she's fine the way she built." Laura said. "In fact, I'd be more worried about whoever she landed on."
"You're right. I bet wherever she hit, she left a crater in the ground the size of a bus." He joked, making her laughed.
Back at the temple, Helga looked at the locals, who thinks that she's a goddess Lola.
"What do you suppose the Alpha Gang is up to this time?" Rex said.
"Obviously, they want the Stegosaurus, but why would they send housekeeper to get it?" Zoe said.
"And now let us join together and thank the goddess, who has come to rescue us once again and go forth to drive the monster away." The old man said.
"To the goddess!" The locals cheered.
Helga took off in the jungle as the locals follows her while Terran and the kids watches them go.
"What was that about?" Terran said.
"I can't believe how mixed up these people have their story." Rex said.
"No kidding. They think a dinosaur is their monster…" Zoe said.
"…and their goddess in human form's just a cook named Thelma." Max said.
"The name's 'Helga', get it right!" Helga shouted, startled them.
"How did she hear that?" The android muttered.
"We might as well follow them!" Max said as they begin following Helga and the locals.
"Right!" They said.
As they follow them, Rod and Laura was on the other side of the trees.
"Hey! What are you two creeps doing here?" Max demanded.
"We're here to get the dinosaur card, of course." Rod said, "Just like we did last time."
"Oh yeah? If you think you're gonna beat us twice in a row, you can forget it."
As they ran faster, Max's pop quiz fell out of his fanny pack.
"Hey kid. You dropped something." Rod ran over to the crumpled paper.
"What is it?"
Rod unfolded the paper. "Looks like a math test."
"Yeah, but with that score, I'd say somebody doesn't know their algebra very well." Laura said.
"Wait." Max checked his fanny pack as his friends ran further before realizing. "Hey! Give me that!"
He tried to snatched the pop quiz, but Rod keeps it away.
"You have the brain of a dinosaur." He said.
"That's for sure." Laura said.
"Well, that's probably because I spend so much time around dinosaurs." Max said.
"We meant because their brain are so small."
"Wait a sec."
"If a dinosaur runs 2.2 km. through the woods in 10 minutes but stops for lunch for 3, how fast could he walk?" Laura asked a math question as Max takes back his quiz.
"Well, a kilomter is like not as far as a mile, but if it takes him 10 minutes stopping for lunch." He muttered as Laura and Rod gave themselves a slip as they ran to the jungle. "I know how long! Hey! Where you going?"
Chomp barked as they ran off before Max takes off running
"You just asked me that so you could get a head start, you cheaters!"
The locals keeps herding the Stegosaurusas the dinosaur is headed in the clearing. It keeps moving along as Helga was in front of the large hole. Helga shot forward and hits the Stegosaurus's head with her soup ladle, making it staggered and falls in the large hole. Helga stood proudly as Rod and Laura shows up to see Helga and the trapped Stegosaurus while the locals bow before her.
"Thank you all great goddess!" The old man said.
"Did I hear them call her a goddess?" They said.
The locals then used the ropes to keep the Stegosaurus in the hole.
"Tie those ropes tighter!"
"I must say, you don't look like I thought you would, but you certainly did the job for us, dear Lola." The old man said.
"Please, just call me Helga." She said before turning to the kids. "As for you children, You'll begin your studies now!"
"Yes, Helga." They nodded and laughed, sheepishly, gasped in surprised.
Helga turned to see Stegosaurus is breaking free from restraint while knocking the locals away. Helga then attack the dinosaur again and hit its head again, but it only anger the dinosaur and the Stegosaurus swings its spiked tail, knocking her away to the jungle.
"That was a home run." Rod commented.
"How could the Goddess get beaten by the monster?" The old man said.
Stegosaurus bellowed, scaring the locals away, leaving Rod and Laura to deal with it.
Helga keeps falling as Max and Chomp catches up to them.
"Rex, where'd the cook lady go?" He asked.
"She's dropping by!"
As Rex said it, Helga was dropped by them. Rex and Zoe coughed from the dust.
"You okay?"
"Did she hit you?" Zoe asked.
Max groaned and held something. "No. that was a close one." He looked down. "What's this thing?" He looked at and realized. "Wah! It's her head!"
Helga retracted her head back to her body and twisted it around.
"Helga's a robot?" Terran said.
"Wow! All this time, she's been a robot?" Zoe said.
"That would explain her personality." Rex said.
Helga adjusted her head. "Oh, excuse me."
Max was left babbled and shocked when he was holding her head. "Am I losing my mind or did you just lose your head?"
Chomp barked.
"I'm sorry you had to see that." She said.
In the clearings, Rod pulls out the Alpha Scanner.
"Go Terry! Get Stegosaurus!" He slashed the card and summons Terry in full-sized T-Rex.
Terry landed as the battlefield took place.
"Let's go, Max. There's a battlefield!" Rex said, noticing the battlefield.
"Rod and Laura may need my assistance in that case." Helga said while repairing the damages before dashing through the jungle. "Here I come!"
"Quick, after her!" Terran said as they follow the android cook.
Back in the battle, Terry charges, jumping over Stegosaurus' swinging tail and landing on its side, knocking it to the ground. He bites Stegosaurus' back leg, but it shakes him off and swings its tail to make him back off.
"Watch out, Rod. That tail is really dangerous." Laura cautioned.
"Don't worry, I'm just gonna use the move card and finish this now." Rod said.
Before he uses the move card, they notice the Stegosaurus is glowing. The Stegosaurus roared and shoots the energy spikes from its spiked tail as Terry outruns the first barrage.
"What's it doing?" She asked.
"That's Spike Arrow!" He said.
Stegosaurus uses its attack again and hits Terry in the side, making him collapsed and returning to his card.
"Terry!" Rod ran to get the card.
"Well, this wouldn't happened if you watched out for that tail like I told you." She said.
Rod managed to retrieve the card. "Oh no!" He gasped as the Stegosaurus approaches its attacker. "Wait a minute, Stegosaurus. We weren't trying to hurt you."
As the dinosaur is closing, they heard and saw Helga come running to them and cuts in between the kids and Stegosaurus.
"Go! Get away! I will Take care of this!" She said.
"With a soup ladle?" They said.
The old man and the locals comes out of hiding.
"She returns back!"
"She survived the monster's attack and has returned!" The old man said.
"She must be indestructible!"
"Yeah!"
Terran and the kids shows up to see this.
"Are they really taking on that dinosaur?" Rex said.
"Yeah, what does it look like?" Helga said to them.
"With a soup ladle?" Terran said.
"She's a lot tougher than you guys." Rod said to them.
"'Cuz she's made of metal!" Max said.
"Watch out!" Zoe shouted.
The Stegosaurus swings its tail to knock Helga away, missed when the cook jumps away from it.
"Woah!" Max awed.
"You cannot fool me twice!" She said to the dinosaur.
"She's even more spectacular than the legend tell!" The old man exclaimed while locals cheered.
"Are you ready, Chomp?" Max press the button, causing Chomp turn into the card and zaps to his hand. "Dino Slash!" He slashed the card on his dino-holder. " Go Triceratops, Roar!"
Chomp was summoned in full-sized Triceratops.
Helga jumped and surprisingly, landed on Chomp's head.
"What are you doing? Get off of my dinosaur!" Max yelled.
"What the heck is she doing?" Terran said.
"Giddyup, big fella und attack!" Helga said.
"Now she has summoned her own monster for the battle!"
"And she controls it like a goddess could!" the old man said,
"I've never seen such things as this!"
"They think she's in control of my Chomp? Just wait?" Max frowned. "I'll really show them something they've never seen before!"
"How do you like me now?" Helga said as Chomp charges and rams Stegosaurus twice. "Try that on for size!"
Stegosaurus recovers and fires Spike Arrows, making Chomp backed away from it.
"Those are the same Spike Arrows he used to knock out Terry!" Rod said.
The Stegosaurus attacks again, Helga jumping off Chomp and knocking away the second volley arrow by arrow with her ladle while Terran and the kids was awestruck by her feat.
"How'd she do that?" Rex said.
"She saved Chomp from that attack." Max said.
As soon as Helga landed, she was shot in her left shoulder.
"One of 'em hit Wilma!" Max said.
"The name isHelga." She said, pulling Spike Arrow out and tosses it away before approaching to the dinosaur.
"Let's do it, Chomp!" Max activate the dino-holder, causing the move card shoot up and caught it. "Thunder Bazooka!" He slashed the move card.
Chomp jumps in the air and pins around as he gathers the electricity around his body while shot forward and rammed the Stegosaurus, knocking it away in the flash of lightning, defeating it as it turns back into a card.
Max turns Chomp back into a card as they look to see Helga in one piece. The locals rushed to Helga and hold her up.
"I can't believe this." Rod said.
"Way to go, Helga! You're really awesome!" Laura said.
Helga walked to Rod and Laura.
"You two can study all you want now." She said. "And I promised that dinosaur won't give you any more trouble."
"Huh?" They said.
"I think we got enough studying in today." Rod said.
"Yeah, we seen what we need to, so let's just go home." Laura said.
"After all that, you want to just pick up and go?" Helga said, holding the cards in her hands. "Very well, then I guess you might as well take these cards I found over there."
"Yeah! Perfect!" Rod beamed.
"You bet!" Laura said.
"Hey, those cards don't belong to you!" Max protested. "Chomp and I earned those fair and square and you know it!"
"What I know is you four lost again." Rod smirked.
"Besides, according to the villagers, it was Helga who deserves them." Laura added.
"See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!" They start walking back to the Alpha jet.
"Wait, hold on!" Max said stopping them, "I figured out that math problem and the answer is 7 minutes, right?"
"Wrong!" They said as they keep walking back.
"Huh? What do you mean wrong?"
"You need to pay more attention in class." Zoe said, making Max groaned in frustration.
Meanwhile, The Alpha Gang survived the crash and gotten lost in the jungle.
"We're lost so deep in this jungle." Ed said. "The Alpha Scanner isn't picking up anything."
"Not quite, Dr. Z is coming in loud and clear." Zander said as Dr. Z contacted them.
"Have you bonehead found the dinosaur?" He asked.
"The jungle's too thick." Ursula said, tiredly. "it's blocking the signal and there's more bad news."
"What else?"
"Our plane crashed and we're lost out here and we may never find our way back."
"I thought you said you has bad news. That's not bad news, that's good news, and you can stay lost until you finally bring me back a dinosaur card!" Dr. Z hangs up.
"I know things are bad right now, but I don't think it's worth jumping in the river." Ed said.
"Are you kidding me? And ruin my hair? No way!" Ursula said.
The tiger appeared and growled at the trio.
"AAHH! Jump!" They jumped in the river.
At Zeta Point, Rod and Laura went to Seth in the engine room and gave the Stegosaurus card to him.
"You've done it better than I hoped." He said.
"Laura and I thought were sunk when Helga decided to come along but it actually worked out okay." Rod said.
"She went with you?"
"Yeah, it was funny!" Laura said, "All the villagers thought she was a goddess."
They ran off.
"Helga, why is she involved?" Seth wondered. 'I'll have to see to it that she doesn't interfere with my plans.'
At the D-Lab, Terran and kids return from Cambodia.
"So it sounds like you guys gotten up close look at a Stegosaurus." Spike said.
"Yeah, but unfortunately, the Alpha Gang got away with its card." Rex said.
"Who knows what that doctor will do to it." Zoe said.
"Don't worry, we'll have a chance to get that card back." Dr. Taylor assured. "By the way, where's Max hiding been hiding himself?"
"He went home, doctor." Terran said.
"Yeah, he also said he was going to study." Zoe said.
"When I passed by his room, he actually had a book open on his desk." Rex smiled.
"Well, what do you know? I guess getting a 45 on that test was exactly what was needed to finally wake him up." Spike said, "That's the way to do it, Max! Hit those books! Good boy!"
At his room, Max fell asleep as he study for math as Chomp did.
"2 kn. In 10 min., so it's going fast." He snored while talking in his sleep. "But what did it have for lunch? A sandwich? Or did it stop for pizza?"
