A Mesozoic Mess

At Zeta Point, it became a whole mess now that Helga is gone or hasn't return from Chinatown.

"Argh! This place is a disaster!" Ursula groaned as the whole room is filled with trash and junk as they wear an apron. "I swear, when Helga comes back, I will never take her granted again."

"We'll just have to clean up ourselves." Ed said, picking up the trash.

"Yeah, for now." Zander said while vacuuming.

A couple hours later, the room is now clean as the Alpha Gang sat on the floor for breaks.

"Finally, all clean again." Ed sighed.

"We should be out doing evil villainy type things, not sweeping and vacuuming and playing nurse made to Dr. Z." Ursula sighed, exhausted. "I can't do this anymore."

Suddenly, Terry, Spiny, and Tank came in and running the room as they make a mess.

"Hey!" Ed yelled. "What are you doing?"

"Get out of here!" Ursula yelled as they coughed from the dust.

Once the it's clear, The room is now a mess again.

"I guess it's back to cleaning." Ed groaned, along with Zander.

"When I get my hands on you three, dinosaurs will be extinct!" Ursula said.

In the study room, Rod and Laura was doing their homework with all the mess around them.

"This place is getting really messy." Rod said.

"Yeah, I was thinking." Laura said. "Maybe we should move to a new room if no one's gonna clean up in here."

"Sounds good to me."

The Alpha Gang came out of the room after cleaning up the room that their dinosaurs made.

"That took forever but at least it's clean now." Ursula said.

As they leave, Rod and Laura came and move in the room that they came from.

"Hey, let's move into this room!" Rod said, bring their computers in.

"Ours is too messy!" Laura said.

They flinched that their room is a mess too.

"Do our room next and don't forget the bathroom." Rod said.

They gritted their teeth that there's more rooms to clean up.

"Hey! What's going on here? I'm still waiting for my lunch!" They heard Dr. Z's boomed voice as he is getting restless and cranky. "And I've got a few things to say about this!"

"It's your turn to go in there, Ursula." Zander said, not wanting deal with their boss on his own.

"My turn? I've had enough abuse for one day." Ursula said as Dr. Z yelling and ranting.

"I'm not going in. Last time, you threw his meatloaf at me."

"All right, Ed. Your turn."

"Get in here!" Dr. Z screeched.

In Spain, the pigs is grazing in the plain until a pig uncovers the card capsule and opens it. The wind blows the cards away and activates it. The dinosaur called Allosaurus roared before looking at the pigs and intending to eat them as the pigs was scared off by the hungry dinosaur, who begins chasing them.

(Loud Dinosaur Roar)

In his room, Dr. Z's stomach is growling as he lies in bed with no one bringing his meals to him.

"Oh, I can't believe is just leaving me here to starve." Dr. Z groaned. "If it weren't for this bad back, I'd give those three nicom-ack!"

The Alpha dinosaurs run over his bed and him.

He begins to fume. "That does it! Launch!" He pressed the button as the toy mouse moved out from under the bed. "I will not be ignored!"

Terry sees the toy mouse and begins chases after it as Spiny and Tank went after it as well.

"Chase that mouse and teach those slackers a lesson!" He told them as they chased after the toy mouse.

In the kitchen, the Alpha Gang made their own instant ramen noodles after cleaning the whole kitchen.

"It's not much but this soup sure looks good right now." Ursula said, peeling the lid out.

"This was the only thing left in the kitchen that's actually edible." Ed said.

"Don't worry. I'm so hungry after scrubbing all day, this is going to be like a five-star meal."

"I'm with you. Let's eat." Zander agreed.

"Bon Appetit."

Before they eat the noodles, a toy mouse scurried past them and their dinosaurs rushed past them, spilling their noodles and soups all over them.

"This isn't our day." Ed groaned.

"Well, if nothing else, at least the dishes are done." Zander said.

As he said that, the dish cupboard is starting to collapse and the Alpha Gang yelped as the dishes is falling on them while Dr. Z hears the crash sounds in the kitchen.

"That's what you get for not taking care of me." He said.

At Taylor's residence, their house is in the same state like in Zeta Point.

"Argh! This place is a disaster!" Max exclaimed as the whole house is a mess.

"Wow, you don't realize how much work moms do until they're not there." Rex said.

"Yeah, guess that's why she needed a vacation."

(Flashback)

"Well, I'm off to Spain for my reunion." She smiled as she packed for a trip. "You boys take care of yourselves and don't forget to eat."

She then left in the hurry as the boys was flinched that they have to eat something while Aki is away.

(Flashback ends)

Max and Rex sighed about it.

"Man, I'm starving. Which garbage bag did you put the pizza crust in?" Max went to the garbage bag and digging out the trash and one of them hit Rex.

"Ow! Cut it out! You're just making the mess worse." He chided him.

"Oh, look who's talking. You're the one who put the banana peels in the refrigerator."

"Better on the floor!"

"No, it's not!"

"Boys! Come over here for a sec." Dr. Taylor called them. "I want you to see something."

Max and Rex went outside to Spike was camping outside as he was fixing a container.

"What are you doing, dad?" Max asked.

"As you know, I'm kind of hopeless in the kitchen, but I do know that how to cook as long as I have an open fire." He said.

"So, you're baking a rock?" Rex said

"No, that's just holding down the lid. Let's see if its ready." Spike took the rock off and opened the container.

"Oh!" They gasped.

"Wow! You made steamed rice!" Max said.

"You didn't think your old dad would let you boys go hungry, did you?" Dr. Taylor said before holding a sauce. "Add some sauce on the top and we'll eat like kings."

Max and Rex was glad that they will be hungry now that they have something to eat.

"Your mother would be so proud if she could see us now." He looked at the sky, wondering how she's been. "I hope wherever she is, she's eating well too."

In Spain, there was an unfinished church building called Sagrada Família and Aki was in the restaurant with her friends as they enjoyed the Spanish dish and the entertainment.

"Wow! Spain has the best food I've ever tasted." Aki's friend said.

"I've been looking so forward to taking this with you girls." Her other friend said.

"And a food's just as wonderful as we hoped."

"Spike and the boys would love this ham." Aki said, "I can't help wishing they were all here now enjoying this too."

"Come on, Aki. Forget about home for a change and enjoy this. Just us girls."

Aki laughed. "I guess you're right."

After they finished eating, Aki and her friends left the restaurant and gets inside the taxi cab for sightseeing.

"Next stop is the famous, Sagrada Família and then we'll go out for dinner." Aki's friend said.

"We're making such pigs of ourselves."

Just as they left, the pig ran in the restaurant and Allosaurus crashed in it. The dinosaur looked around for the pig and found the hams before eating them.

At Zeta Point, the Alpha Scanner alerted that the dinosaur has revealed itself while the exhausted Alpha Gang sat on the floor after cleaning the mess before they heard it.

"I'm not really in the mood for dinosaurs." Ursula moaned.

"But if we're chasing dinosaurs, Dr. Z can't yell at us." Ed said.

"Oh! You're not as dumb as you look." She realized, "Now is no time to cleaning up after mechanical mice. There's a dinosaur out there and we should be capturing it!"

"Off with our aprons!" Ed and Zander said.

Seth went to inform Rod and Laura about the new dinosaur.

"Another dinosaur, Seth?" Rod gasped.

"Your target is in Barcelona, Spain." He said.

"Let's get going!"

"But we haven't finished our homework yet." Laura said.

"Yeah, you're right. And if Helga catches us again. Hey, why hasn't she back?" Rod said, wondering where Helga is.

"Yeah, Seth. You said she had some sort of business to do in Chinatown." She said, "When is she gonna be done?"

"How should I know?" Seth lied before the Alpha Gang comes in.

"We're going on the mission!" Ursula said.

"Hand over those Alpha controllers!" Ed and Zander demanded.

"No chance!" The kids said.

"Terry and the others would rather go with us anyway, right?" Laura said, holding a bag of treats.

Terry and the others chirped in agreement.

"How about a treat, you guys?" She throws a treat to them, who happily eats it.

The Alpha Gang was appalled that their dinosaurs preferred Rod and Laura than them.

"Obviously, they have a way with the dinosaurs that you three have never had." Seth exclaimed, making them peeved.

"HEY! I WANT MY LUNCH AND I WANTED NOW!" Dr. Z' voice yelled, making them flinched.

"It seems you're needed here."

The trio groaned in depressed.

Rod and Laura went to the hanger and took the Alpha rocket as the silo door opens and launched.

"Lift off!" They said as they flew to their destination.

"Okay, I went ahead and set the autopilot for Barcelona." Rod said.

"Nothing to do not but sit back and enjoy the ride." Laura said.

As they flew, the Alpha Gang stowed away in the small luggage compartment.

"I'm not enjoying it." Ed complained.

"It's not first class, but beats cooking and vacuuming." Ursula said.

"And Dr. Z." Zander added.

As they left, Dr. Z was left with a stack of foods and small kitchen appliances, much to Dr. Z's infuriation,

"I asked for lunch, not a do-it-yourself kit!" He complained and pounded the bed, making the stacks collapsing on him. "That hurt."

At D-Lab, The D-team went there when their Dino Holders detected the dinosaur.

"A dinosaur just showed up in Barcelona?" Max said, looking at the map. "That's where mom is!"

"It has to be a sign!" Dr. Taylor said. "Now that I know Aki and I were meant for each other!"

"It was just a coincidence, doctor." Terran said.

"Well, we better get going." Zoe said.

"Right!" The boys said.

They hurried to the teleporter.

"Wait! Kids! Don't you think you ought to take me along this time?" Spike said, "You mom probably misses a lot."

"I think she'll be okay." Max said,

"All right then. I'll write a letter! Give me a second!"

"But we don't even know where she is." Rex said.

"Come on, it's for true love!" Zoe smiled.

The boys, except Terran, sighed.

A few minutes later, Dr. Taylor came back with the letter.

"Now, Max. Promise you'll get this to here." He said, giving the letter to his son.

"Okay, okay! Sheesh!" He said, taking the letter.

"Oh, and tell her to bring me back a pair of those bullfighter pants, okay?" Spike requested as Terran and kids teleported to their destination.

In Barcelona, Terran and the kids was teleport in the middle of the street in town.

"Wow, so this is Barcelona." Max said.

"What a beautiful city!" Zoe said.

"Even the air smells fresher here." Aki said as she and her friends walking, not noticing them.

The group walks around and came across the colosseum building.

"That's where they have all the bull fights." Max said.

"I would never go to one of those." Zoe said. "I think bullfighting is really cruel!"

"Hey, it's an ancient tradition." He argued.

As he said, their dinosaurs suddenly ran off and barks at the matadors.

"Paris, get back here!" Zoe yelled.

"Get away from me!"

"That red flag is driving them crazy just like it does with the bulls." Max realized.

"Then we better get them away from it." Rex said as they barked.

"I'll get them." Terran said.

The android grabs all their chibi dinosaurs away from the matadors before moving to the next part of town.

The groups looks at the unreconstructed church.

"So this is Sagrada Família?" Max said.

"Yeah, it's really famous." Zoe said. "Antoni Gaudi started building it over a century and it's still not finished."

"Wow, he must be old."

A few minutes later, The D-Team was at the Park Guell as they are searching for dinosaur.

"I've gotta get a picture of this." Zoe said, snapshotting the mural fountain.

"Yeah, me too." Max said, snapping a picture of it.

"Hey! just in case you two have forgotten, we didn't come here to sightsee." Rex said, reminding them.

"You two can sightseeing later after we catch the dinosaur." Terran said.

Suddenly, they was the loud noise, coming from the town as everyone panics. Allosaurus roared in the smokes.

"It's an Allosaurus and its going nuts!" Rex said as they looked at it.

The Allosaurus roared in the streets.

The dinosaur dashed in the streets and headed to the one place that stood as a landmark.

"Oh no! It looks like it's headed right for the Sagrada Família!" Zoe said, looking at the tour guide.

"What!?" The boys gasped.

"Our national treasure!"

"Can't somebody stop it?"

"Oh!"

"I can't bear to watch!"

Terran and the kids looked around them as the locals was in distress that their landmark will be demolished by Allosaurus.

"We gotta stop that dinosaur from it wreaks that landmark." Terran said.

"Right." They said.

Max turned Chomp into a card and shot it to his hand. "Dino Slash! Go Triceratops, Roar!" He slashed the card on his Dino Holder and summons Chomp in full-size Triceratops.

Chomp roared before jumping off the roof and charges after the Allosaurus. As the Allosaurus is making its way to the Sagrada Família, Chomp caught it by its tail.

"Way to go, Chomp!" Zoe shouted.

However, the Allosaurus got up and pulls him, shocking the kids.

"Impossible." Terran said.

The dinosaur spins spins, pulling Chomp off his feet and throwing him into the Sagrada Família, destroying it.

"NO!" The kids shouted.

Somewhere else in town, Aki and her friends stops by in the café.

"So how about if we split up and meet back here in an hour?" She suggested.

"Sounds good." Aki agreed as the Sagrada Família is collapsing to the ground.

"I saw some antique shops this morning that I would love to check out."

"Are you still going to go to the food marketing, Aki?"

"Yes, I wanna get some of that fantastic ham to take home to the boys." She said.

Back in the battleground, the group ran to see Chomp is okay as the Triceratops is injured.

"Chomp, are you okay?" Max asked.

"Look what you done!"

They turned to see the angry locals.

"You've ruined a cultural landmark!"

They started throwing rocks at Chomp.

"Wait! Stop it!" Max pleaded as Terran turns to see the Allosaurus.

The Allosaurus roared before racing forward at blurring speeds, disappearing in a burst of wind and circling around Chomp too fast to see, then pummel him by rapidly and repeatedly until the Allosaurus skids, defeating Chomp.

"Chomp, no!" Max cried as Chomp turns back into a card.

"Man, that dinosaur's attack is so fast." Terran commented as the Allosaurus sniffed something before running off.

Rod and Laura was watching the whole thing from the rubble.

"I'm surprised that Triceratops went down so fast." Laura said, surprised.

"Yeah, I was hoping it would wear out Allosaurus a lot more than that." Rod said.

"What do we do now?"

"We're gonna have to come up with Plan B."

As they discussed, the Alpha Gang peers from the rubbles, overheard them.

"Wait, we don't even have a plan A yet." Zander whispered.

"But our plan A's never work anyway, so it doesn't really matter." Ed said.

"That's a good point." Ursula said. "Lat's just wait it out and see what these two brats come up with next."

At the meat shop, the cook is slicing the ham and yelped as the Allosaurus is outside the store before braking in.

"Oh my! How am I ever going to pick one of these hams when they all look so good?" Aki said, browsing the meat stand.

The Allosaurus is devouring all the ham as it can before leaving the shop as Terran and the kids arrived.

"Whoa! I wondering where it's off to now!" Max said.

"To the meat shop!" Rex said, looking where it's going.

"I'd like a ham please, one that's very juicy and one big enough to feed my family." She ordered as the customers was scared off as the butcher did. "But not so big that I end up with two weeks of leftovers."

The Allosaurus was right behind her.

"Let's see. How about… oh, I don't know."

Feeling a breeze, Aki turns and sees the real dinosaur as the group is just in time to see the Allosaurus, but Max's mom is there too.

"Max, it that your mother over there?" Terran said, spotted her and the dinosaur.

"It's my mom!" Max said.

"It looks like she saw the dinosaur and froze in her tracks." Rex said.

"Hey mom, run away!" He yelled at her.

Aki then sees Max. "Well, hi Max." She turns to see the hungry Allosaurus before fainting.

The dinosaur proceeds eating the ham as it can get while Aki was unconscious.

"Look over here, Allosaurus! This one's much bigger!" Rex said, picking the nearby ham and throws at it, who caught and ate the ham.

The Allosaurus begins chasing them.

"Get your mom while we distract him!"

"Good idea!" Max said before going to check his mother.

Rex and Terran picks up the nearby hams.

"Come and get it, Allosaurus!" Rex called.

"A real juicy ham!" Terran yelled.

They ran as the Allosaurus chases after them as Rod and Laura peers from the corner.

"Looks like it's our turn now." Laura said.

"Then it's time for the Alpha Scooter." Rod said, snapping his fingers.

The Alpha Scooter came from above and the kids hops.

"Here we go!" They drove on it.

As they ran, Terran throws a ham to the hungry Allosaurus to make sure it follows them. Rex throws a last ham to the dinosaur, but Rod and Laura cuts in and caught the ham.

"Thanks!" She said as Allosaurus stops in tracks. "For the idea and the ham!"

They took the ham as the Allosaurus chases after them. It would seem that their plan was to lure the Allosaurus into the large hole in the construction site as Rod and Laura headed there.

"We'll use the ham to lure the Allosaur right this hole." He said, hovering over the hole.

"Good plan. Then we can send Terry and Tank in there to attack him all they've got." She said, looking back to see the Allosaurus is coming. "Here he comes now!"

The Alpha Gang gasped as they overheard their plan.

"They're actually gonna take on that dinosaur!" Ursula exclaimed.

"This looks bad!" Ed said.

"I suppose we should save them, huh." Zander said before slashing the card on his Alpha Scanner. "Alpha Slash! Gush out, Spinosaurus!"

Spiny is summoned in full-sized Spinosaurus.

Spiny appeared and knocked Allosaurus away to the streets.

"Where did Spiny come from?" Rod said, sees Spiny appeared.

"He totally ruined our plan!" Laura said.

"What was that move?" Laura asked.

"The Mayfly!" Rod answered.

At the food market, Aki was still unconscious on the bench as Rex, Terran, and Zoe came back and formed a new plan.

"This will be perfect!" Max said, pulling down the red cape.

"Do you think four hams will be enough?" Zoe asked, holding the ham.

"Yeah, we'll tie it together with this!" Rex said, got the ropes.

Rex pulls out Ace's card. "Dino Slash!" He swipes the card on his holder. "Carnotaurus, Blow them away!"

Ace is summoned in full-sized Carnotaurus.

Back in the battle, Allosaurus knocks Spiny back, hitting against the frightened Alpha Gang before turning back into a card.

"Smashing." They groaned.

The Allosaurus roared until it saws Ace appears with red cape over him with tied up ham in each corner of the cape. Ace ran off to lure the dinosaur as it chases him to the bullfighting arena.

After exchanging the roars, Allosaurus shot forward to grab the ham, but missed when Ace evade quickly.

"That's the way to dodge, Ace!" Rex cheered.

"Wow, just like a bullfight but with dinosaurs!" Max said.

Allosaurus repeatedly charges to grab the ham, but Ace dodges, letting Allosaurus exhaust itself.

"It's working! The Allosaurus is getting tired!" He said.

"Now's our chance to finish him off, Ace!" Rex said.

However, Ace starts eyeing the hams himself, intending to eat them.

"Sound like the Allosaurus isn't the only one who is hungry." Terran said.

"Great, Ace wants the ham for himself now." Zoe said.

"Listen Ace! Get the Allosaurus back into a card and you can have all the ham you want." Rex promised.

Hearing that, Ace refrains himself eating them and turns as the Allosaurus charges at him. When Ace dodges another charge, he lets Allosaurus crash into the stands. Rod and Laura arrives in the arena to see the Allosaurus is stuck until he pulls its head out.

The Allosaurus is the Mayfly attack.

"Rex! Here it comes!" Max alerted.

Rex then pops open his dino-holder and catches the move card.

"Ninja Attack!" He slashed the move card.

Ace ran faster, created five clones before jumping, dodging the Allosaurus' Mayfly attack. Once the Allosaurus stops, Ace and his clones attacking it from all sides, defeating it.

"All right! Another dinosaur cards!" Max said, catching the cards.

"You did it, Ace!" Rex said, congratulating him as Ace eats up the ham. "So go on ahead, eat up! You deserve it."

Meanwhile, Aki woke up from the bench.

"What happened? I could swear I saw Max earlier. But how?" She wondered. "Max couldn't be all the way her in Spain, could he?" She then smiled as she dismissed the fact tat Max is in Spain. "That's silly!"

She then noticed the letter next to her.

"Where did this come from?"

Flying back to Zeta Point, Rod And Laura was upset that the Alpha Gang ruined their plan to capture the Allosaurus.

"We would have gotten that dinosaur card if you guys hadn't messed up everything." Rod frowned, crossing his arms.

"Yes, perhaps." Ursula said.

"You should have stayed behind and vacuumed like you were told." Laura said.

"This may look bad now, but remember there's always a bright side."

"What's the bright side?" Ed asked.

"We're not traveling in the luggage compartment." Zander said.

Rod and Laura huffed while turning away.

At Taylor's residence, Aki returns from her trip as Spike, Terran, and the kids is outside.

"It's true. It is. I could have sworn I saw you in Barcelona, Max." Aki said.

"I'm pretty sure that you must be dreaming or mistaken Max for someone else, Ms. Taylor." Terran said as the others chuckled sheepishly. "And we're very glad that you return home from your trip."

"Yeah, what he said." Max said, sheepishly. "How could I get all the way to Spain and back in just one day?"

"I couldn't understand that, but he looked just like you. "She said before pulling a letter from her coat. "And that's not all, I found this letter from your father."

"Oh! Aki, wait!" Spike gasped.

"Let me read it to you. It's so sweet." Aki opens the letter and read. "Dearest Aki, my love. Without you here, the house feels like a blimp with no hot air." The kids groaned in embarrassment as Terran looked at Spike, who was gibberish, and Aki. "No wait. Like a donut with no hole. No, more like a dinosaur without its roar. Oh never mind. Please be safe and come home soon. P.S. the house is a disaster. Love, Spike."

"Oh, that's right! Gotta run!" Max got up and walked inside the house. "I didn't clean my room yet."

"Uh… me either!" Rex said, walking pass by her.

"I'll help you guys!" Zoe said, following them.

"Me too!" Terran said, joining the kids.

Aki was confused about the letter was sent to her.

"But I still can't figure out how you got this letter to me." She wondered.

"The power of love, Aki." Spike said.

"Love?"

Spike stood up. "It was the sheer power of my love for you that carried that letter across the endless ocean."

Aki gasped. "Oh Spike. That's the most romantic thing you've ever said to me."

"Welcome home, Aki."

"Glad to be home, honey."

They embraced themselves in hugs as Terran and the kids watched them.

"Better get started on your cleaning, boys." Zoe told them.

"Huh?" They looked at Zoe and the messy room.

"I guess that means you're not gonna help us?" Max said.

"How can making mess so much easier than cleaning it up?" Rex said.

The boys groaned as Zoe giggled while Terran looked around the mess before their dinosaurs is running around the house.

"Hey Chomp, Ace, Paris, Wisp! Get back here!" Max yelled. "There's no way you guys are getting out of cleaning too."

Something tells them this is going to be a long evening to clean up the house.
