This figure looked dastardly and, in fact, this creature does have a dark motive in him. Creeping towards the sleeping Cody, he was preparing some kind of magic powder in his hands, the color of brown, and, by happy mistake, Cody awakened from the sense that he needed a glass of water, and when he saw this bird-like creature, he gave a great scream and notice he was about to throw something at his face, but the boy was quicker and managed to dodge the sand-like substance by falling out of bed, and then he pulled out his revolver from his nightstand, pointing at the scary bird-like person. "Stay away from me! Who are you?!"

Coming through the door at the same time, Loona and Blitzo looked ready for a fight against the intruder. Loona had her teeth bared, looking scary with her angry look, and Blitzo had one of his golden guns out. "The fuck is going-" he paused to see the bird creature

"Whoa! What the fuck are you, and what the fuck are you doing here?!" Loona demanded. "Answer now before i rip your balls out with my bare hands!" she gave a menacing, low growl like a wolf would do to an unfamiliar face crossing into his or her territory. The bird man with the large chin and nose was calm and clasped his left hand together two times.

"Now let's all just calm down now." said the man in a suave and regal voice. "I am not here to cause any trouble." he began walking away from the three in a regal manner. "I just want the materials i need to feed my children, and i will be out of your hair."

"He was going to throw some kind of sand or dust at me." Cody said, as he was still pointing his gun at the being. "What did you want from me?"

"Well, my boy, i had no ill-intent, but i needed to do it right in getting the material i need for my offspring. My magical powder was the key to get the materials that you had for me."

"What could i give you?" asked Cody, sounding very confused. "herbs, flour, rice, what materials?"

The being let out a small chuckle. "Not those kind of materials. What i needed was your eyeballs."

"What?!" The three said in unison.

Loona got really mad and pulled the feathery shirt that the man was wearing, looking like she was ready to bite his head off. "Like fucking Hell you will be taking Cody's eyes, and... wait." Loona was thinking. "you're..."

"Oh fuck no!" said Blitzo in pure shock. "You're not actually... him, are you?"

"Yes." said the being as he felt Loona let him go. "The Sandman." Cody was absolutely shocked to hear about this man and his identity

"The... Sandman?" Cody said. "The one that comes and puts sand in people's eyes when they sleep overnight?"

"That, is nothing but a complete lie that parents these days would tell their naive children." said the Sandman. "No, my purpose is to snatch the eyes of naughty children when they do not get some sleep in the night. "And, please do not sing Metallica in front of me, I cannot stand much of today's rock music. For I am completely sick of that song that they did. Anywho, Cody, just let me grab your eyes so that I can feed my babies, and I will leave you alone."

"But i love my eyes! And... what is the powder for?"

"To make it painless for when i just pull them out of your sockets." Sandman flatly stated. Then he felt himself being pinned to the wall by Loona.

"And I was sleeping, why did you come here for my eyes?"

"Because I am desperate to keep my children alive. They need food As soon as possible. So, my sincere apologies, Cody. It is nothing personal."

"The only way you will take my little brother's eyes is over my dead body!"

"Does it have to be his eyes, you creepy motherfucker?" Blitzo added

"No need for such foul language. But if i cannot take Cody's eyes, who can i take?"

"Anyone but his." Loona snarled at him. "So get the fuck out of here. Last Warning!"

"Wait... what if i can find someone to take my place?" asked the human boy. "Someone evil?"

"Hmm, i suppose i can make an exception." Sandman admitted. "But you have one day to find me someone else with eyes that I can take, otherwise, you will have to be next on my list."

"A whole day?!" said Loona. "Shit."

"Look, we an all take him down together." said Cody. "I got my gun in hand, and he's outnumbered."

"It's not that simple, Cody." Loona sighed. "The Sandman is a very powerful demon. More powerful than any of us combined."

"Yeah, if we just fight him, we'd get fucked over before you can say 'pegged'." Blitzo pointed.

"I am sure you will find another person's eyes for me to take. But remember, you have one day." said the Sandman before he slowly vanished into thin air.

Looking worried, Cody didn't know what to do about this whole situation. If there was one thing he did not want, it would be losing his own eyeballs to a creepy monster that is feared throughout Europe in the middle ages. "Why does this keep happening to me?!" Cody said as he laid on his back. "Why?"

"Cody, it's ok." said Loona, sitting right next to him. "We'll find someone to take your place."

"And... what if we can't?"

"Then Mr. Sandman will have to get a few bullets in his bird-like head." he cocked his gun to prove his point.

"Everything will be fine, Cody. Trust me. Look at me." The boy was hesitant. "Look at me!" she urged. "Trust me on this. We will never let that creep take your eyes. So just get some sleep, and tomorrow, we'll see what we can do about what we can offer for this creep."

As the morning came, Cody did get a good amount of sleep for the remainder of the night, along with Loona and Blitzo. It was a school day and the human boy got himself ready for the day. Coming to the human world with Blitzo's Asmodean Crystal, and Loona escorted him to the school (in her human disguise), and Cody took a breath as he went into his school, walking through the hallways.

In his class, Miss Stacey was giving a lesson on the planets of the Solar System. How there are solid planets and gas planets across the whole universe. Throughout the lecture, Cody couldn't stop thinking about the Sandman and how much of a monster he was. Collecting eyes just to feed his own children. "You ok, Cody?" asked Tyler in a whisper

"Yeah, i'm fine. Just kind of a rough night. Nothing to worry about. Got up on the wrong side of the bed."

"Oh. OK." Tyler whispered as he and Cody continued to listen to Miss Stacy give her lecture about planets.

At the end of the day, when class was over, Cody saw Loona standing along with some parents there to pick up their kids. The female hellhound is always happy to see his adopted brother, especially when it comes to picking him up after school. As the two went to their usual secret spot to be transported back to Hell, there was an angry female voice heard in the distant.

"Can't you fucking do anything right, Eddy?!"

"hmm?" Loona hid behind a tree and Cody behind a bush.

"Eddy?" Cody whispered fo his adopted sister. "He's one of my friends."

"Mom, come on, it's not my fault."

"Shut up!" Said Eddy's mom. To Cody's horror, she slapped her own son while holding a lager bottle in her right hand. "Why are you even born?!"

"I'm your son!" Eddy pleaded

"Which makes it all the worse!" His mom spewed at his face.

Looking mad at this treatment, Loona came up to the mean woman and said: "hey! Leave him alone."

"Pfft, get lost you trollop, or i'll smash your skull into a rock."

"How can you fucking treat your own son like-" before Loona could finish, she felt her face slapped by the crazy mother. "Oh you did not just slap me." Now the disguised hellhound was pissed off. Then the angry mother smashed her emptu bottle against a nearby log and tried swinging it at Loona. Thanks to the goth girl's reflexes, she dodged a few blows and grabbed her by the arms from behind. "Go on, kiddo. Get out of here, call the police."

"OK." Said Eddy as he ran off to get some help.

"get your hands off me, you slut!"

"Do not call me that." The hellhound said. The sound of bones crunching was heard and the psychotic mother screamed in pain. Loona managed to break her lower right arm with her brute strength and incapacitate her. "The fuck is your problem?" said Loona. "What mind of sick and fucked up mother are you?"

"That little shit ruined my life!" The human lady screeched. "I had dreams and when he was born, he took them away from me!"

"You don't deserve to be called a parent." Loona then spat on the human's face.

"Are you ok, Loona?"

"Yep. Just a slap on the face. I've dealt with damn worse pain."

"What about Eddy?"

"He'll be fine. He's going to look for help. Come on, let's get you home." She called for Blitzo to activate his crystal and they teleported back to the apartment living room.

"Loona, your face!" Blitzo noticed the slap mark. "What happened?"

"It's nothing, Blitzo. A crazy mother was abusing her son and i saved the kid. Broke her right arm too."

"You really do have a way with kids, Loony."

"Oh shut up." Loona rolled her eyes. As she walked away to get herself a beer, something came to her head. "You know what," said Loona. "I think i just found a perfect replacement for the Sandman, Cody."

"Who?" The female hellhound bounced her eyebrows two times. "Oh! Ok. But what about Eddy? I wanna see if he has anyone to help him."

"Yeah yeah of course."

later on

back on Earth, Cody and the disguised female hellhound were checking around Cody's neighborhood about Eddy's whereabouts. At last, Monique, one of his other school friends, that Eddy is now in safe hands of his aunt's house.

Wanting to make sure that she was telling the truth, both of them walked up to place Monique oointed them to. There was a tall, lanky woman with a slightly pointed nose snd black hair. "Umm, hi, are you Eddy's aunt?" Cody asked

"I most certainly am." Said the nice lady.

"Good!" Cody smiled wirh excitement. "Is Eddy ok?"

"Oh yeah, he is doing just fine after my sister just did."

"Hi Cody." Said Eddy, coming from behind his aunt

"Eddy, are you ok? Did your mom hurt you?"

"not so much, but i'm fine. My mom's in prison now and Aunt Prudence agreed to watch over me."

"Whew! That's a relief."

"And, Loona, right?" Asked the other kid to the disguised hellhound.

"Yep, that's my name." Loona flatly said as she was looking on her phone.

"Thanks for saving me." Eddy smiled as he was about to hug her. Loona stopped him with her right hand.

"Sorry buddy, but i'm not a hugger."

"Aw, pleeeeaase?" Eddy pulled out puppy dog eyes.

"Oh not that kind of face." Loona groaned

"How can one say no to that?" Prudence pointed.

"Ugh. Ok ok, one hug."

"Yay!" Eddy shouted as he latched on to Loona, much to her annoyance. At last, when it was confirmed that Eddy is going to have a better life now, the two went back to Hell (in a secret spot away from human eyes), it would be decided.

"I guess we should tell the Sandman that we found someone else for him."

Appearing out of thin air, the Sandman himself had a confident look on his face. "Well i will be dammed." Said he. "Who might this... understudy be?"

"My friend Eddy's abusive mom." Cody said. She got arrested and she is in prison for attempted murder on Loona."

"Ooh. Interesting."

"Yeah, the stupid bitch was struggling and kicked one officer in the balls, making her go to solitary confinement."

"Perfect." Sandman clapsed his bony fingers together.

"So... what do you say, Mister Sandman?"

"I say, we have a deal, Cody. You are off the hook."

"Hooray!" Cody jumped wth triumph. As soon as he stopped, he said, "but how will you get in the prison?"

"Don't you worry about me. I have my ways."

"Good. Now get the fuck out of here!"

In the middle of the night, sleeping in her solitary confinement cell, Eddy's mean and abusive mother was sleeping and wishing she had a bottle of whiskey on her right now.

little did she know that she was not alone in her cell, for the Sandman came in through her wall like a ghost, and made his magic powder before tapping the woman to wake her up.

When Eddy's mother finally awoken, she was shocked to find a bird-man freak in front of her, and he blew his magical dust into her eyes, making her howl in pain and he proceeds to snatch her two eyeballs from her sockets.

"Thank you so much for your eyeballs, madame. I will take my leave now." Then he disappeared, leaving the abusive woman alone in her stinging pain as she was scresming from agony
