A for want of a nail story where Faith never goes to the dark side and instead is able to become close friends with both Buffy and the Scooby gang. Starts with Season 3, episode Revelations and moving on through the seasons, along with broad strokes from the novel Go Ask Malice. Eventually Spike/Faith slow burn. Rated for canon typical violence and romance scenes.

While Faith is in jail, she gets send to solitary confinement. However, she argues on her way there and asks for one thing. Will she get her way? The goal here is not to focus on what Faith had done or how she will go through solitary, but to focus only on the way there and Faith's struggles.

Spike leaves Sunnydale carrying precious cargo. Going to Angel was the best choice, the only choice, but Spike is still wary. After all, Angel hasn't exactly been there when Spike needed him before, but he has nowhere else to go.
