This chapter will be short, and the reason is because it's a catch up chapter. This won't be focused on Harry, Charlus, Arcturus or anyone of the sort. This chapter will be focused on Dumbles, Amelia, and Cyrus.

'This isn't good… not in the slightest.' Albus said as he read the title and contents of the Daily Prophet. In bold letters at the top it read.
'HARRY POTTER SIGHTED IN BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS? POSSIBLE EDUCATION AT ILVERMORNY!' With it was a picture of the boy wearing rectangular glasses and wearing robes fitting of an heir to a Most Noble and Ancient House. With him was a beautiful woman who Albus can only presume to be the fabled Victoria Maria Potter.
When he first read it the aged wizard thought it was a joke, believing it was more lies from the Prophet. However, that all changed when he read the contents of the newspaper. Worry steeped into him as he read that his lamb for slaughter was going to be attending Ilvermorny for two years before returning to Britain to continue his education at Hogwarts.
It was no secret that outside of the UK and Ireland, that Hogwarts had one of the worst education systems in the Magical School District. The only good thing Hogwarts produced were Aurors but even then they couldn't compare to Aurors from Africa, who solely focused on gorilla warfare, or even Japan, where they focused on honor and justice. In short Dumbledore had everyone in Britain feeding off his hands, and it was only proven when the author of today's article showed his shock that someone as legendary as Harry Potter would go to a school such as the lowly Ilvermorny School.
Putting the paper down Dumbledore started thinking of ways to stop this. He can't allow Harry to learn at anywhere but Hogwarts, under his supervision and under his control. One of the many ideas he thought of was a Professor Switching, probably under the assumption that he wanted to better the relationship of the magical schools. But Albus knew that might not work, because one ever since his fall out with Minevra, his second didn't even acknowledge him.
For his other option, Severus, the man could have already seen the Prophet and as the headmaster knew, the Potions Professor would probably be enlightened to see the son of the man he hated gone. Albus thought of the other Professors and immediately denied they would do anything like leaving Hogwarts. Yes they were loyal to him but they weren't that willing to drop everything to go to Ilvermorny. Maybe Hagrid, but he still has things he needs the quarter giant to do at Hogwarts and Britain as a whole.
Albus also couldn't leave because he had his obligations here in Hogwarts, the I.C.W and the Ministry, and with the trail coming up around the corner, the aged man needed to remain here. 'What am I to do?' Dumbledore asked himself as he leaned back in his chair with closed eyes.

Ministry of Magic

Amelia was stressed, understandably so honestly. With the demands of the Goblins being made, and her predecessor stepping down, the Bones Regent was made Minister on the morrow, with Rufus taking over her seat as Head of the DMLE. Immediately following taking the seat of Minister of Magic, Amelia was not surprised to find that Cornelius was just as incompetent as she imagined. Paperwork stacks all over the office, standing at a height equal to that of a normal sized woman.
After seeing this she spends days and nights fixing the mess the former Minister left for her. Days Amelia went without sleep, but thank the Muggles for inventing coffee for without it she knew that she'd be keening over with sleep. It's also been days since she saw Susan, her sister's only child and the last family she had. Thankfully though, Lord and Lady Abbot were both happy to have her niece in their home. A few more days and Amelia will finally be able to see Susan once more, sadly it won't be for long with the impending trail coming up.
Since her term started she has been invited to talk to not only Lucius Malfoy, who came in a few days ago demanding the arrest and prosecution of his wife who 'deceived and attacked him unprovoked', and Albus Dumbledore. But to both of them she declined stating that she will not be a pawn on their board game and that the Minister wasn't to pick sides and was supposed to be a strong and honest leader to their people.
After her denial, both men were trying to pull strings to get her removed. But each time it backfired on them, for when she took the Minister seat she kicked all those that seemed corrupted, or a danger to her and the ministry from office. Yes Amelia felt the effects of doing that, for she in short terms fired a quarter of the employees. But gradually and slowly those positions were filled by those she deemed worthy.
What came as a massive surprise to Amelia was the unexpected guest she had yesterday. Not only did she recognize him as the man who was sitting at the head of the table during Lily and James' wedding but also because he used to be the Head Unspeakable. The man came in wearing the mask of a Head Unspeakable, and asked for his position back, more like demand, but she knew what he wanted. So she gave it to him, but only on the condition that he inform the current Head, which the aged wizard promptly agreed and left.
Overall? Amelia Bones' term as Minister of Magic was full of surprises, headaches and so many more to come. However, it was a welcome change to the Regents life. All she had to do now was continue this process peacefully until she resigns and steps down to allow a younger generation to continue leading Magical Britain.

Greengrass Villa

He was speechless… not once did Lord Cyrus Greengrass, of the Most Noble and Ancient House Greengrass, expect to get a floo call from his Head Unspeakable predecessor. The man said in a simple way that he'll be retaking his position, but in return Lord Charlus said that he'll be his second. Looking over to his Head Unspeakable uniform he felt a weight lift from his shoulders. Yes Cyrus enjoyed his job and position but he'd never say it wasn't a pain in the ass.
Before the distraction he was enjoying a meal with his family, telling his youngest daughter, Astoria, about his youth and adventures in Ravenclaw, while his wife sat down beside him laughing and as Daphne finished her third bowl of chocolate mint ice cream. He smiled at the memories he had with his family, memories that were sometimes ruined by the need to go to work.
Standing from his kneeling position, Cyrus tidied himself up with a wave of his wand. Returning to the dining room the Lord couldn't help but smile at the sight. His beloved wife, Roxanne was standing with his youngest daughter standing on her feet as they danced, and Daphne, his heir and the future Lady of their House, was reading a book as she ate peanuts from a bowl nearby. He was lucky to have a family like this, most pure blood families were strict even in their homes, there was no laughter or happiness in the homes of the purebloods. But Cyrus had to admit those families were of the darker tendencies.
Lord Greengrass was proud to be with the family he has made and he'll never let something come in between them and their happiness. Sitting down at his chair he was welcomed by a nod from his eldest who was still reading. He returned the nod and finished the food, his icy blue eyes watching his wife and youngest. This was a good life.
