Nexus HWR 20.6 The Strong:
Remano
"Take your new pet out for a stroll, Do-S," a tiny eyeball with wings ordered the slender woman awaiting just that command. She had long blonde hair and a tight black outfit revealing most of her skin though that was hard to see in the dim basement with little working lighting.
Do-S cracked her whip down and turned towards the thundering footsteps that approached her. "Rhino!" She cracked her whip towards him and slashed him in the side with it, but his thick gray coating of skin did not get torn despite the sharp edges of his master's weapon. "It's time. Wreak havoc on the commercial district! Destroy everything in your path!"
Gyoro Gyoro watched from the headquarters of the Monster Association through the eye of one of his drones. The small yellow eyeball flapped its wings faster to rise into the sky over the city so he could get a better angle on the destruction about to be wrought. Do-S may not be the strongest of the monsters, but a weak-willed mind like Rhino's is easy for her to control. Let us see how much stronger the monsterization made him. He devoured two monster cells before I could finish explaining. I'm astonished he survived…
"RRAAAAAAA!"
Ka-CRSHHHHH!
In Leam's Royal Castle, King Titus spun around and then sprinted towards the balcony outside of his throne room. The massive hall where he had been greeting his guests filled with shouting as the important officials and the new arrivals in the city all rushed to the balcony and looked out.
Flying sentries and guards on the walls rushed to their battle stations. Officers yelled at their subordinates to prepare for action, because a huge pillar of smoke and dust was rising up not far away in the east. The largest city in all of Aebrith south of the Cataclysm was the capital of Leam, the largest and strongest nation of the Resistance. In every direction they could see from high up in the castle, which was all directions, the city of Remano stretched.
"Was it from the factories?"
"Maybe it was an accident-"
The ground shook and another huge plume of dust blew into the air, showing signs that a building had just been destroyed. "Get out there! Fanalis Corp, go!" Titus yelled to his guards behind him.
"You two, go," a woman with hot pink hair ordered, and two Fanalis warriors leapt without a second's hesitation from the balcony and down several stories. They moved in blurs to leap to the lower walls of the Castle, to the outer walls of the Royal Castle's premises, then past the guards who spun towards the strong species of warriors loyal to Leam.
"Myron, Lo'lo', you as well-" King Titus began.
"No can do," Lo'lo' replied without pausing either. His King spun to him in surprise that his soldier ignored his order. Lo'lo' crossed his arms though showing he was not going to go back on it. The young King with blond hair was the clone and successor of Scheherazade, making him his own Magi as well. He opened his mouth to argue with the muscular pink-haired man in a golden tunic whose face was badly scarred around his lips so he actually had no lips around on left side of his mouth. Lo'lo' declared before Titus could order him again, "Muu isn't here, and he'd kill us for leaving you unprotected here."
"Do you even consider if that is a distraction to draw us out, leaving you unprotected?" Myron Alexius questioned. She did not bring up her older brother like Lo'lo' did, but she had also thought of how Muu would never leave Titus alone in a time like this, even to go chase after battle as they Fanalis loved to do.
"But our people need protection more than I do," King Titus declared back at them.
"We'll go help then," one of the guests who Titus was just greeting called back into the throne room just inside the doors where Titus was arguing with his guards. Titus spun back as did the remaining members of the Fanalis Corp and Titus' advisors and servants. They all snapped their gazes to the other blond-haired King, who was apparently no longer a King actually.
Morgiana nodded her head back at the older Fanalis who looked at her in surprise that they were offering. Before anyone could mention how it was not their place, or tell them to leave it to Leam's police and military to handle, Alibaba drew his sword and activated his Djinn Equip. Had the Fanalis not known Alibaba Saluja from their own world, a foreign power drawing a powerful weapon in front of their King would have been more alarming. "Amon!" Alibaba yelled out as he summoned his Djinn. Some who did not know Alibaba as well did panic though and start rushing forward as he used a power that they knew very well thanks to their King's own second-in-command, Muu Alexius, who did not happen to be in the city right now to protect Titus.
Morgiana jumped up on the balcony's railing then leapt up high in the air. Alibaba flew straight towards her and reached down with the hand not on his sword hilt, catching his wife by the hand and flying off with her while the flames of Amon surrounded them both. Morgiana's necklace that Alibaba had given her as a present and her leg chains from back when she was a slave before he freed her glowed brightly with golden light as she activated the powers of Amon as well. A member of Alibaba's household, she shared in his power.
I suppose I should go see what the commotion is as well, Bruce thought, though he grimaced while glancing around the room at people who had gotten very panicky when Alibaba was powering up. Though maybe I should not transform in here, at least, he thought.
Forty miles away in a distant section of Leam, people waved and clapped for Ichigo as he walked with hands down in his pockets towards Kara and the others. "Byakuya was no help at all," Ichigo muttered as he reached them. He turned and lifted a corner of his lips up for a short second while nodding at a pair of old women who jogged over and handed him a basket of fruits. He tried to wave them off but they insisted and pushed it into his chest, speaking too fast for him to understand, though he finally just accepted and took the fruit basket.
"You're sure a hit around here," Cisco mentioned in surprise after noticing how many people were looking their way and just smiling towards Ichigo.
"Yeah, what's up with that?" Winn asked.
"This guy," S Nando jabbed a thumb back into Ichigo's gut while walking over and examining the contents of Ichigo's basket. He hummed at the sight of the good fruit and took one out for himself, and Ichigo did not complain after leaving these traders to their own devices back in Zodd. It was thanks to Kara's great hearing that they caught up to them while they were on their way to Leam, as she heard this short angry trader cursing out their "shinigami guard" for ditching them and figured the group under attack in Arachne's lands were likely Ichigo's companions. The other two had already forgiven Ichigo, thanks to him saving them again, but S Nando was holding it over Ichigo's head and gradually annoying the teenager more and more with his attitude. S Nando continued though in a way making Ichigo's aggravation subside a bit though, "Spent two weeks around here fixing up the city after that crazy bitch Eileen rearranged the continent. No one knew where he came from when he suddenly started flying around rebuilding the place."
"'Rearranged the continent?' What are you," Winn started, only getting a surprised look from his friend Cisco which surprised him that Cisco apparently knew about this.
"Oh crap, that actually makes sense," Cisco said and laughed. "I doubt she touched Zodd. Even if her continent-rearranging magic reached that far, which it totally did."
Kara looked back to Ichigo while the others discussed Eileen's insanely powerful magic spell that no one really knew too much about, despite the rumors. "The shinigami didn't put a captain in place in Zodd, but the one in the Ren Empire did come on occasion. With Kryptonians able to see Hollows, apparently she didn't feel the need to check up on us much."
"Who was that one?" Ichigo wondered.
"Soi Fon?" Kara replied, wondering back if Ichigo recognized the name to which he just nodded slowly as he thought on that woman.
"Hm," he grunted after a second. Ichigo lifted a hand and rubbed it through his hair.
"Well Winn, I've contacted the dean at Remano River University." Cisco lowered his phone down and smiled at his buddy, "And one of the dorms is open right now. I teach there sometimes, not often since I'm way busy with more important Resistance duties, but sometimes. The dean's cool with you crashing for a bit. You'll be surrounded by med students though as the dorm's next to the Itachi Uchiha Memorial Hospital. Might feel a bit… well! I'm sure you'll be able to hold scintillating conversations with them, despite your-"
"What are you getting at-"
Crash.
Kara snapped her head up. Her forehead scrunched and her eyebrows wrinkled while both eyes darted to her left and the east of the city. She could only partially see the plume of smoke past the massive castle nearer the middle of the city between them and whatever was happening. "Trouble," Kara stated.
"Think the law enforcement here can handle it?" Ichigo began to her, wondering if Kara really needed to go involve herself in some crime occurring in this enormous city that was bound to have tons of it. He did not have the super hearing to hear that distant crash though, but he did spin his head too when a second one occurred that got Kara floating up into the air. Ichigo did not question it this time as he noticed the smoke rising in the east. "Kon, take over," Ichigo popped Kon's pill in his mouth and flew after Kara, albeit slower than the Kryptonian.
"I AM THE RHINO! RAAAA!" Aleksei Sytsevich roared. He ducked his head down with his pure white eyes glowing and steam flaring out of his nose after that yell. He kicked down on the ground with his right foot then dragged it backwards and broke through the street. He charged and tore a trench in the road, making the police dive to the sides behind their vehicles right before Rhino smashed through them. Drones flew down and shot at the monster, but the attacks did nothing against his rough exterior that was incredibly durable even before he ate the monster cells given to him by the Monster Association.
He kept charging through through the cop cars, and the drones, and the walls of three buildings in a row. He destroyed all the merchandise in a shopping district, and then a flash of pink in the right corner of his eyes made him spin to the wall across the room from him in the jewelry store he was wrecking.
The pink flash of a Fanalis warrior in a white cloak caught Rhino's eyes and made him spin towards her. The Fanalis collided before he could stop his charge completely though, and she spun in midair and kicked into the back of Rhino's head. She had a white aura around her, as all the Fanalis had trained in powerful multiversal techniques such as ki-control. The older Fanalis woman who sped to the scene twisted herself around in midair and kicked the back of Rhino's skull. Even with his momentum, and even with her strength, Rhino stomped both feet into the ground and tore up the floor of the store by how hard he stopped himself.
Wind blew off of the villain who growled and turned his head so fast around that the horn on it slashed the warrior's leg before she could pull it back. The spin of his upper body released so much force too that it blew her back out the window she had just smashed through. "Shit, we need to evacuate the area," she grumbled while pushing herself back up on both legs, despite the amount of blood pouring down her left.
"Let's get him!"
"Chief!"
"He's strong," she called out in warning to the other Fanalis who all charged onto the scene.
They attacked, Rhino hit back harder. The citizens of Remano were stunned to see their elite Fanalis warriors getting smacked back and forth. Rhino bellowed out laughter while raising both fists up over his head. Realizing how deadly this next attack would be, one of the Fanalis leaders yelled at his comrades, "Grab a civilian and run!"
"Protect the people!"
Rhino slammed both fists down to hit the ground so hard that he would tear up the entire block and most of the buildings around him. His arms even bulged in size as he was about to do it. Smack! His fists slammed down but stopped halfway. Wind still rushed away in an insane amount of force that shattered windows for blocks and put some cracks on walls. The street below him pushed down several feet too, and chunks of pavement went rolling away. It was not as bad as it should have been though. People guarding their faces and protecting themselves from the oncoming blast of force looked back towards Rhino and saw a woman in front of him half the beast's size.
The Rhino stood over ten feet tall. He looked to weigh a thousand pounds easily, and when he bulked up his arms before that slam it seemed like even fifteen hundred pounds would be low-balling it. The ground underneath his feet pushed down and the street blew away from him, but the hands that had caught his forearms did not let go. The arms of the woman who just caught his fists did not even shake. Rhino's face shook in pure rage at the sight of the blonde woman's eyes glaring up at him. He slammed his head down and his horn glowed bright red as it was about to hit her face.
Kara yanked her head to the side and dodged Rhino's horn that she was initially going to just let connect until she saw it glow like that. She dodged then flew up in the air so that Rhino's hands were pulled up above him instead, knocking the monster off-balanced and leaned backwards. Kara pulled her head back then slammed it down into Rhino's face below his horn once she made his head lean back like that with her movement. She released his arms when she head-butted him, and Rhino's back dug an even deeper trench down the street before skidding to a stop and being buried in pavement and dirt.
The street stopped shaking around them and Kara floated back down to the ground. "Is that a human?" She muttered in confusion. Right before her face connected with his, Kara swore she saw the human-like characteristics of the man's face seemingly wrapped in the gray skin of a rhinoceros. He may have been experimented on. This could be a victim rather than a-
"RAAAAAA!" The street all around Rhino exploded outwards. Kara spun her head towards a building she heard people screaming out inside of, and she flew over in a blur and started punching some debris while blowing apart other pieces with heat lasers.
Two Fanalis jumped at the back of Rhino as he started charging towards Kara Zor-El, kicking with each step to send more debris flying her way and preventing her from charging back at him yet. He stopped running though and spun while swinging his right arm around, and he back-handed straight through both warriors who tried blocking but felt bones break as the powerful monster's right fist tripled in size this time. One screamed while flying backwards, but Kara was more concerned about the other pink-haired warrior who just had blood splashing out of her mouth
Veins rippled under the skin of the beast that grew to thirty, then thirty-five feet tall. Five more horns stuck out of his head and spiked in different directions while he screamed out in agony and rage. "RHINOOoooo! RAAAaaaa!" He had seemed at least a bit coherent before in his fighting skills and the ability to yell sentences, but his face was looking less and less humanoid to become nothing but a monster's now.
Alibaba could see that as he dove onto the scene with his wife who yelled at him to 'throw her!' Alibaba spun around and swung Morgiana down as fast as she could, as Rhino towered over an injured Fanalis warrior and aimed his glowing front horn down at the man.
Kara bent her legs to dart over, but she heard a shriek and spun her head to see a precariously-hanging balcony falling towards a young couple down below who just tried running out of cover to get away from the area entirely. She had to choose, and she went for the pair of them first, putting one arm over their heads and lifting her other to block the falling balcony that bent and broke on her arm. She glared back and her eyes glowed red as she tried to save the Fanalis warrior as well, only for her eyes to dim and grow wide in amazement at the sight of another Fanalis only much younger and covered in an aura of raging orange flames.
When Morgiana spun her left leg around, the glowing chains of her household vessel wrapped around the leg while glowing gold wings snapped out of her back and flapped once more to give her a huge boost of speed. The glowing kick engulfed in flames sent Rhino flying before he could execute the member of her race who dropped his jaw under this girl who he did not recognize but was clearly Fanalis like him. Morgiana spotted the other Fanalis guards nearby who had raced away from the Castle earlier, and she frowned deeper at the sight of them and their terrible injuries.
Alibaba was frustrated too by how long it took them to get here that so much damage had already been caused. He lifted his long black sword over his head and made the pentagram symbol in the center over the guard glow bright yellow. "Burn him, Amon!" Alibaba shot down and slashed his sword, and Rhino stopped rolling at that moment and bent his legs. The monster jumped up in the air with crossed arms and flew through the slash of flames, his skin too strong to be burnt easily. He pulled back a huge fist and slammed it at Alibaba who could tell the fist was far too powerful to try and block.
He was a master swordsman though, and as he lifted his sword like he was going to block the fist, Alibaba slid the blade off of Rhino's knuckles and redirected the blow instead so that Rhino wound up flipping himself over with no control in the air. Alibaba could fly though. His flaming aura kept him up there, and now that the unthinking beast was flipping over and not attacking him, Alibaba lifted his sword up high and then slashed it down on Rhino's back and sent the monster plummeting down into the street. He even angled towards the area where the fighting had already been going on as it was less likely he could cause more damage or hurt anyone in other areas.
"Alibaba?" Kara whispered in astonishment at the sight of the King of Rhodar floating up in the sky.
Ichigo was stunned as well. He reached the fighting area and gawked at Alibaba after seeing how masterfully Alibaba parried and counter-attacked the monster after it had been unfazed by his flaming slash a second earlier. Alibaba lifted his head as he spotted someone floating ahead of him. His eyes bulged for a second, then he smiled wide and raised a hand, "Hey Ichi-"
Ichigo's sword thinned. It turned black and his body surrounded in a red aura. "BANKAI!" Ichigo shot towards Alibaba with incredible speed. He slashed with one hand while reaching out and grabbing Alibaba with the other. Rhino seemed even faster now, but Ichigo was faster, and yet Kara was faster than both. As Rhino's fist slammed towards where Alibaba just floated, and Ichigo slashed, and Alibaba gasped as he was pulled away, Kara flew between them and kneed up into Rhino's gut.
She punched over and over into the monster's chest and stomach then flew around him and kicked down on his back. She opened her mouth wide as he was flying down, and she blew out a gust of freezing wind that Alibaba and Ichigo flew even farther back from. Morgiana grabbed two bloodied Fanalis and jumped away as the temperature plummeted. An ice cube formed in the crater that Rhino slammed into. Chunks of pavement starting to fly away from the area froze in mid-flight. The ice spiked out in different directions, and an iceberg formed on the street as it was a humid day despite being fairly cold already too this close to winter.
"What are you doing here, Alibaba?" Ichigo asked while flying a few feet from the man he released up in the air.
"Oh, well I gave up Rhodar," Alibaba responded to the younger man he had seen not a month ago before Ichigo left for Leam.
Kara spun towards him in shock herself to hear that. She snapped her head back down quicker though, hearing the cracking of her ice that she cursed to spot. "I don't want to kill him, but he's making it very difficult," she grumbled while balling her fists and preparing to put down the Rhino this time before he could hurt anyone else. He might be getting stronger, but he seems more out-of-control than attacking deliberately. Yet, how did he get so deep into the city without rampaging first? This was planned out. Kara frowned deeper. A beast like him isn't acting alone. She darted a look towards the Royal Castle. Is it a distraction so they can take out the King? I don't hear anyone sneaking up on Titus back there. He wants to come help- oh, he is coming. I always liked Titus, Kara thought with a small smile forming back on her face as she heard the King of Leam flying their way to come help protect his people, against the protests of his guards.
Lo'lo' and Myron glowed brighter than the other Fanalis. They also knew ki control, but the top Fanalis warriors in the city were also members of Muu Alexius' household like Morgiana was for Alibaba. As Titus declared that he could not cower while his people were in danger for any longer, the two of them activated their household vessels and raced to either side of Titus. They did not go ahead of him to take care of the threat before Titus could get there, and they kept their heads on swivels just in case drawing the King out had been their enemy's plan.
Titus was no fool. He felt a sense of caution as well, but he could not give in to his anxiety and leave Remano's safety in the hands of people who were not even of Leam. What kind of King would I be… Wow. Titus stopped short in the sky. His Fanalis guards even got distracted as they all looked down towards the beat-down that this rampaging monster was receiving.
"HAA!" Kara's heat lasers slammed into Rhino's chest and pushed him down into the ground then down the street again. She cut off her beams to not push him through an already-damaged building, then Ichigo Kurosaki appeared behind the rolling beast that slammed its hands into the ground to try and recover.
"Getsuga Tenshou!" Ichigo slashed his thin black sword into the back of the monster whose rough gray skin ripped up even more as he was jolted to a stop then smashed back the other way.
"Throw me this time!" Alibaba called at his wife who grabbed him by the arm and spun him five times around rapidly. Alibaba's lips flapped from how fast the wind pushed into his face, but he still had the focus to grip his hilt tighter and yell out, "Amol… SHAFRAT… KHARIQA!" Alibaba jabbed his Extreme Magic, Amon's Piercing Blade, down into the Rhino right as the beast was flying below him.
Alibaba's body engulfed entirely in fire. It was so bright it illuminated a few square miles of the city around him. People looked up thinking it was suddenly sunset as the sky was tinted red. Alibaba's sword grew ten times in size, but then it immediately thinned as all the flames condensed for the kind of attack Alibaba mastered for urban fighting specifically. He shoved his sword down and pierced through Rhino when the monster was face-up during his flight off of Ichigo's Zanpakuto.
"RaaaAAAAAOOOOO!" Rhino screamed up while the flames burned all around him. His white eyes flared. His muscles rippled. The sword dug in through the broken skin where Kara had burned him, and it pushed out his back where Ichigo's Getsuga Tenshou had also burned through the rough skin. Alibaba's condensed sword pulsed the fire out while inside of the beast. Rhino's skin burned more. His organs burned, and then Rhino balled his right fist and swung up around the side of the sword.
Alibaba's flaring orange eyes darted to his left out of the flaming aura. He started pulling his head back, but he got nicked by the fist that sent him flying away. He even released his Metal Vessel that was still lodged in Rhino's chest and did not fly back with him.
Morgiana was dropping out of the air in an off-balanced way after throwing her husband down at the beast. She spun her head away in shock though as Alibaba was sent flying right out of his flaming aura. Her own glow weakened when that happened, and she got distracted when she spun and called out, "Alibaba!"
Rhino dropped to the ground and pulled the sword out of his chest that immediately started sealing itself back up. Gyoro Gyoro's spectating eye that had been watching in disbelief for some time returned to normal size and looked at Rhino in much more interest now. "He has acquired regeneration along with his immense strength? If he can regain some sort of intelligence, he would actually be a higher-up in the Association. Hmm."
"Do-S!" Gyoro Gyoro commanded the woman telepathically. "Get him out of there. I have seen enough."
"What are you talking about? Getting him back out was never part of the-"
"Do not disobey me."
"Ah- I mean, of course…" Do-S got sweat all over her face while looking out on the scene from her own hiding spot. I can't just order him back here. He'll lead them all straight to me. My only chance is to fight my way out of here with him forging the path. Who are those fighters?!
Do-S scanned around for an opportunity, and the creepy monster woman's eyes lit up while a devilish look spread over her face.
A pair of Fanalis guards who just dropped off several civilians each spun back in the direction of the action that had been contained by the powerful allies who had arrived out of nowhere. "Why aren't they finishing him already? That woman who stopped him at first, she's a Kryptonian!"
"If they hit him any harder, maybe it will cause too much damage to the city," the other guard theorized to the surprise of his annoyed comrade who stopped to think about it a little deeper now. "We should get more people out of that area so they don't fear holding back-"
"That would be a good use of your time, or…" The two men started turning their heads, but Do-S cracked her whip at them already. They were too distracted by a giant explosion ahead that also made it harder for them to hear her sneaking up behind them. Civilians nearby who had just been saved by these men started yelling at her to stop, and they yelled at the guards to stop her, but those two pink-haired muscular men in tunics and white cloaks stopped thrashing about in pain a few seconds after getting whipped.
Just the hypnotism won't be enough. I need real distractions to get Rhino out of here. Do-S reached a hand behind her back and down into a pouch, and she pulled out two strange-looking monster cells. The disgusting bubbly purple spheres made some citizens recoil, and others just started running away at the sight of them and the terrible vibe that radiated off them. "Eat these," Do-S ordered her new subjects, and she tossed the cells to the Fanalis who did not even bother raising their hands.
The guards jumped at the cells and bit them in midair. The warriors already known as the Red Lions acted more like animals as they tore through the monster cells. Even in their hypnotism, the pair collapsed down to their knees and started writhing in even more pain than they were in while fighting the mental takeover from Do-S. Their skin reddened. It covered in pulsing veins while their pink hair darkened and extended down their backs in long manes. When they put their hands back down on the ground, each of them cracked the street they pushed off of. Do-S gulped and wondered to herself while her hypnotized monsters rose before her, Maybe I should just take these two and run-
The thought cut off as she darted her eyes up to where she knew Gyoro Gyoro was watching her from. In her head she imagined the horrific sight of the Monster King reaching out one of his giant tentacles towards a monster that had been disobedient to Gyoro Gyoro. The advisor to the leader of the Monster Association wielded far too terrifying a power for Do-S to disobey him. She cursed under her breath, then she turned towards the site of the battle. "My slaves. Go save the Rhino! Do not let them kill him!" And in the meantime I'll find a way to sneak him out of there.
"I don't think there's going to be another way, Kara," Ichigo told the woman who he had recently arrived to this city with.
Kara nodded regretfully. She did so slowly though, and she stopped herself after a second. "I am concerned he is under someone's control. This feels very strange to-"
"Hey! What are you two doing?!" A shout from the opposite direction as Rhino drew their attention.
"AHH!"
Lo'lo's face twisted in sheer rage. Myron did not bother trying to stop him. He dropped out of the sky while letting out a roar, while Titus exclaimed in his own anger, "It's them! The Monster Association!"
One look at the Fanalis guards who they all knew personally and the states they were in was all it took for Titus and his advisors to know who was behind this attack. Alibaba was flying back through the sky, coughing in pain and looking low on energy after using his extreme magic and losing his sword. The Amol Saiqa blade had flown back through the air and smacked into his hand after Rhino tore it from his chest, but Alibaba was still feeling exhausted after using his magic that only seemed to damage Rhino for a few seconds before he regenerated. "Monster, Association?" Alibaba wondered between panted breaths.
Lo'lo' was screaming at his fellow Fanalis down on the surface who were no match for him before. They could suddenly keep up with his moves though, and their fight was threatening to turn into something even worse than the fight with the Rhino as it spread out with Lo'lo' unable to contain it.
"Go Kara! I'll put him down," Ichigo called to the Kryptonian who had spun her head in the direction of those powerful Fanalis monsters too. Morgiana had sprinted towards them as well only to stop short as she realized who she was about to fight. Kara grimaced as she was now sure that someone was turning people into monsters as she overheard Titus and Myron explaining "monsterization" to Alibaba much higher up in the sky. Is all we can do murder these victims? She wondered while flying after the two who nearly pushed Lo'lo' out of the area and into civilian zones, which was dragging her away from the fight against the Rhino now. As she shot off towards them, she realized exactly that. While my attention is away, I'll watch for who capitalizes on my distraction. It should happen quickly!
Kara flew towards the Fanalis monsters who Lo'lo' continued to yell at. She slowed before attacking though as she heard what the guard captain was yelling. "Why won't you respond?! You're both too strong to just lose yourselves to the monster cells! ANSWER ME DAMN IT!"
He's confused. Do monsters usually keep some kind of sentience? The Rhino seemed to. Wait! I know their faces too. They were over here fighting when I arrived. Someone just turned these two into monsters. The perpetrator must be nearby.
"…You cannot go down there."
"I must!" Titus declared back passionately.
"You must not! Someone is orchestrating all of this. You are in the open as it is. Billions of people in Leam rely on you for their survival! Leave it to our forces!" Myron yelled it and kept a straight face even as Titus winced. Several flying sentries and guards, as well as a patrol from their military just arrived on the scene. Rhino smashed a fist down at Ichigo that the shinigami dodged using the incredible speed of his Bankai, but the explosion from Rhino's fist hitting the ground flipped vehicles and knocked sentries out of the air with the fast-flying debris.
"Stop him!"
"What's going on?!"
"The Fanalis Corp are down!"
"Ahhhh! Help us!"
Some of the police setting up a perimeter a few blocks away from the fight lifted their heads back up over the side of their vehicles after the last gust of wind and debris flew by them. "We'll hold this line and- what the?!"
"Behind us!"
"AhhH!"
Kara Zor-El flew up in the air and spun towards the police perimeter. "Civilians?!" She exclaimed in shock. Wait a second. They don't look the same.
"What the Hell…" Myron muttered. "They don't look monsterized! That's not- what are they doing?!"
Kara listened closely. She closed her eyes and listened around through all the chaos in the surrounding area. Someone's here. They're turning these people against one another. Where? Where are you?
Ichigo spun and looked down one street to where a group of three burly men looking enraged for some reason just tackled a female cop onto the ground. The dog-woman cop screamed out in pain as a human man broke her left leg, and then Ichigo was there in the next second and slashed. He slowed his sword and flipped it at the last second, hitting the civilians with the back of his blade and wincing anyway as he sent them all flying away. Kara's right. Someone's responsible for-
Ichigo's eyes bulged. Sweat poured down his face that was suddenly in the shade. He started turning. He was fast. He managed to get his head sideways to look back at the gray legs of the monster behind him already hooking a punch down and into Ichigo's side. Wind pushed down on the canine police officer who screamed out again as her snapped leg moved too much from the force of that punch.
The shinigami teenager was launched several blocks away through many commercial buildings that blew apart around him. He finally smashed into someone's apartment and ripped apart their island in the middle of it. Pieces of cabinets and a sink flew away from him, and Ichigo spun his head in a daze that faded fast in fear as he heard the screaming teenage girl who got hit by shrapnel when he broke through her family's apartment. They could not even see him. They were in panic and screaming in fear and pain, and Ichigo bared his teeth and glared back towards the opening in the last wall he smashed through.
He would not make it back in time. Rhino heard screaming below him and was distracted from the fighter who he had gotten a drop on due to Ichigo's distraction here. The same distraction. The cop stopped screaming and just lifted her head slowly and in sheer horror at the sight of the forty foot tall beast's head tilting down. His white eyes glared down on her, and she passed out- either from the pain finally or from the terror of seeing him focus on her. Her unconsciousness was no deterrent to the monster that rose up its right fist.
Rhino twisted his body and swung his arm down. Wind pushed away around that arm. The Rhino was in an enraged state and roaring out as he went in for the kill. Do-S whisper-yelled his name from an alley close to him. "Rhino! It is time to go!"
"RAAAaaa!" Rhino's head rang out. It sounded like a ringing noise that started to hurt as he tried to go through with his punch first rather than immediately obey Do-S. "I- I am… THE RHINOOOOO!"
"He is so much stronger than her already," Gyoro Gyoro said in some excitement while watching Rhino punch at the officer. "I may need to step in-"
The fist stopped. Not because Rhino stopped it, but because a man had run up to the officer and lifted his hand. His arm bent down at the elbow, but his upper arm bulged. His legs bent and the ground below him shook, but he caught Rhino's fist in his palm like it was nothing. "The Rhino? Aleksei Sytsevich?" Bruce Banner wondered. "You're a villain from my own world," his right arm that already bulged under his sleeve ripped that sleeve apart as the rest of it bulged and turned green.
The muscles shot around Bruce Banner's body as he grew into the Incredible Hulk. Rhino's jaw dropped as through all of his brainwashing and monsterizing, he recognized the Hulk. The King of Leam who had rushed this way to save his police officer before she could get squashed, and the top advisor of the Monster Association, gawked at the sight of the massive green unit who gripped onto Rhino's fist and broke it. The Hulk yanked down on that fist and brought the face of the Rhino down closer to him. His left arm was already swinging up, and he uppercut into the chin of the Rhino who got thrown up off his feet.
Rhino's six horns all glowed bright red as he rose into the air with his white eyes shaking in surprise and fury. He glared back down and the red glow brightened more, looking to be drawing in energy around him. "A villain and a murderer!" Hulk screamed out, sounding fairly intelligent while he yelled these things for some reason.
A hole ripped through the back of the Rhino. His chest tore open. Kara had flown straight through him without stopping. She spun around after passing through his chest, and she smacked her left arm around and took the Rhino's head clean off. The Kryptonian woman stopped holding back for a second, and Rhino was eliminated. Then her red eyes snapped down towards an alleyway and a female monster whose pale skin wrinkled in terror and panic. She turned around, but Kara was behind her in the next second. "You're the monster who has forced all these innocent people to hurt each other?"
Do-S froze in mid-step. Kara had other monsters to go deal with though. She had no time to waste. She already knew the answer to the question. "W-Wait!" Do-S started yelling. Then her vision went sideways, and then upside-down, because her head was spinning around. She saw her own body drop down to its knees below her spinning head, and her black mask came off while her head was spinning to show a horrifying sight of teeth and a long tongue behind it that she had hidden to keep up a more human appearance.
Rampaging civilians around this section of Leam stopped roaring and attacking everyone and everything around them. The officers and soldiers trying to stop them without harming them lowered their weapons while the confused people started to panic over what had just happened. Hundreds of people had been injured. The fight was not over yet though.
Lo'lo' was covered in cuts and bruises. He faced his two monsterized comrades with a few of his fellow Fanalis by his side now. They all looked pained and furious by what they were being forced to do, but then Do-S went down. The pair of monsters in front of them thrashed about. They had bright red skin and long spiky hot-pink manes. The pair were mainly fighting down on all fours, but they rose back onto their legs and grabbed at their heads in pain and confusion.
"What is- happening?" One growled through a deep and reverberating voice.
"I can feel… so much magoi. I can control it!" The other roared out with his lips curling up ravenously. "I can… even on this plane! I can become one!" His skin started to change color even darker. The long mane flowing down his back wrapped around his sides. Hair shot out of his limbs and covered up his human clothing. "A RED LION! I CAN RETURN TO MY ORIGINAL-"
"…Get a grip! Can you hear me?!" Lo'lo grabbed the transforming Red Lion by the shoulders and shook him.
The ravenous-looking Fanalis snapped his head up and bared his teeth at Lo'lo' who he did not notice was that close. He froze though at the sight of all the bloody wounds on his commander's face. Then his gaze shifted past Lo'lo' and to his other comrades, then to his side at his partner who was still just gripping the sides of his head and screaming out in pain while trying to get a grip on his own mind. The Red Lion lifted up his arms and watched as they kept transforming into a beast capable of such magoi manipulation that they could not manage on this world, much like their last. "How am I doing-" a sharp pain pierced through his mind, and he remembered tearing apart something tossed at him by a woman who had snuck up on them. "Monsters."
He hissed the word in disgust at the one who he remembered, but then he realized just what he had done after seeing her. His eyes darted back to his hands, and he repeated in a voice that cracked, "Monsters? We're… also-"
"You remember who you are! That means you're not one," Myron shouted while dropping down with King Titus who she remained in front of, just in case these 'monsters' actually were still a threat. "That go for you too, Ba'Amas?!" Myron screamed down at the second Fanalis guard transformed into a monster who stopped gripping the sides of his head as hard and struggled to lift his gaze up from his hunched position.
Ba'Amas bared sharper teeth towards Myron and even past at Titus, making the rest of the Fanalis tense up. Then the lips around those bared teeth curled up ridiculously high on his face which made him look quite terrifying. It was unnatural and monster-like, but the smirk gave off a feeling of a smug Fanalis warrior, not that of a monster. "Those fucking monsters made us stronger. Idiots! AHHAHHAHAHA!"
"Yeah…" The Red Lion Fanalis who had been so beyond thrilled to reach this transformation snarled. He was still only half-transformed, but he sucked in a deep euphoric breath and seethed out, "They'll regret this."
"Ha! HAHA!"
"Damn right!"
"The Hell were you fighting us for then?!"
Most of the group there did not know about Do-S or how Kara had broken their hypnosis. They were just glad not to have to kill each other now.
"That fool. The Kryptonian was still too close to attempt pulling him out there. She should have turned more of the city against each other first," Gyoro Gyoro sighed. The eyeball turned away and flapped its wings to head out. The monster ordering its drone away from the scene continued to himself while in his lair far from Remano, "Still, that was unexpected. And not what the purpose of this mission was meant to uncover," he grumbled in more annoyance.
"Seeing how the defenses of Leam matched up? Most of them were not even from Leam! A bunch of random arrivals show up and defeat Rhino with ease, even though he was easily Disaster Rank Dragon! They were absurdly strong. I should have-" Gyoro Gyoro stopped commentating and froze while looking at the screens in front of him.
The yellow eyeball stopped flying. A look of panic covered it as a woman with long blonde hair floated before him with furious eyes dimly glowing red. "The Monster Association, huh?" She wondered, and Gyoro Gyoro's face covered in sweat this time at the same moment his drone cut off, telling him it had been annihilated.
Ichigo panted heavily while floating next to the Hulk who he turned back to after watching Kara do something high up above. He stared at the bulked-up figure who turned his head and glared at the shinigami. Ichigo floated away uneasily from another monster, only to watch in surprise as Hulk turned and reached down, carefully picking up the furry officer with the broken leg and moving her to a safer area than the broken up portion of road she currently rested in.
"Kurosaki Ichigo. What happened here?"
Ichigo got a tick mark on the corner of his forehead and snapped his head up. "Oh? Now's a good time to show up, huh?" Ichigo snapped at Byakuya who glanced around and frowned deeper as it seemed he really had missed everything. Ichigo let his Zanpakuto go back to its normal larger size as it felt the battle really had ended. He slung it over his black hakama again to rest on his back, then he wiped under his left eye some blood from his face.
"Menos suddenly appeared to the south of the city. I wonder," Byakuya hummed after saying it.
Kara had turned towards Titus, but she darted a look down to the conversing shinigami and grimaced deeper at what the shinigami captain was suggesting. Can the Monsters even call on Hollows? Or was that a coincidence?
The clean-up in eastern Remano went on for the rest of the day. They all spent their day helping injured civilians and soldiers get medical attention, clearing up debris, and fixing damaged buildings. Myron ordered the two monsterized Fanalis guards to help as many people as possible, trying to reiterate to the public who they may have harmed that they were brainwashed just like any of the other civilians who went through the same thing.
"I cannot thank you enough for your help earlier," Titus reiterated to the group who he stood in front of after they finished putting back up a wall of an apartment complex together. Morgiana nodded respectfully to Titus then looked past him wondering if she should go help the other Fanalis who had already moved onto the next task. She held back though and looked to her husband who Titus extended a hand out to.
Alibaba shook his hand but then gained a more serious look on his face after. "About what we were asking when we got interrupted?"
"Oh! I totally forgot," Titus laughed and scratched the back of his head. "Sorry about that."
"Well, I get why you might have," Alibaba admitted with a laugh of his own.
"What are you doing here?" Ichigo questioned Alibaba himself. "You say you gave up Rhodar? What do you mean?" Ichigo had been wondering about that, but they had been too busy the whole afternoon to ask.
Kara floated over and landed near them to hear this as well. "Well, we came to find Aladdin," Alibaba told Ichigo. "He ran off here to help the people suffering on Aebrith much more than anyone in Rhodar is right now. We made Rhodar safe, but Rhodar isn't all of Nexus. Aladdin was right."
Alibaba turned to Morgiana and flashed her a smile, and she nodded fast back at him showing she still felt the same way as he did. Ichigo sweatdropped though and started shifting his gaze away, in the direction of Remano's airfields. "We couldn't just keep living the comfortable life when we had the power to do something here. To help people. To do something that could help free slaves, or protect…"
Ichigo felt worse and worse with every word out of Alibaba's mouth. Alibaba felt a nudge on his side and glanced at Morgiana, then he spun to Ichigo and threw his hands up defensively. "Not that living comfortably is bad or anything! That's just what we were thinking."
Ichigo grimaced and dropped his gaze to the floor. Hearing all of Alibaba's reasons for coming here made the thought of getting back on an airship and heading home to safety sound as cowardly as it gets. Kara stepped closer to Ichigo and shook her head though, making him lift his gaze back up to her. "You should go back home, Ichigo. You have family back in Metropolis, right? They need you."
Ichigo grit his teeth. He was one of the few people who Alibaba and Morgiana had told about the daughter she had while Alibaba was still married to Daenerys. The couple felt bad at the minute for telling him about that when he glanced back their way, knowing that they also had a family that needed them. "Alibaba's right though," Ichigo admitted. "About something." Ichigo pursed his lips and then tilted his head back and sighed.
"I can't go home yet," Ichigo admitted. "Not, because I want to do the same things. I mean, not that I don't want to do that," Ichigo added on quickly, as Alibaba and Morgiana sounded to have very noble goals for being here. "But there are questions I have. Things that only I can do. Enemies I was in the middle of fighting on my own world, when we suddenly showed up here," Ichigo continued with a deeper frown. He shifted his gaze up and spotted a man in a similar black hakama as his, only with a white coat over it as well and matching white hairpieces in his long black braided hair.
"We never finished what started back then. Aizen is still here. But the shinigami captains I've met aren't doing anything about him. It doesn't make any sense to me, and I need to figure that out," Ichigo explained. Even if Byakuya won't tell me a thing.
"Aizen huh?" Titus whispered in an uncertain way. "Be careful. He is, not one to trifle with lightly."
"I know," Ichigo agreed in a darker voice that reminded the King of Leam that Ichigo just said he had faced Aizen back on his own world. Titus nodded in understanding that he did not need to warn Ichigo of anything.
"Ichigo, do you know of the Gotei 13?" Kara wondered.
Ichigo's expression changed quickly and he looked at Kara in great interest. "I told you there was no shinigami captain in Zodd, but that captain Soi Fon is one of the Gotei 13-"
"Yeah, that's right. They're here on Aebrith? Their headquarters?"
"I believe so. I don't know much about them, but I have heard of the organization itself." Kara frowned that she was unable to explain to him anything more than that, but Ichigo nodded gratefully at her and she smiled as it seemed it was good information for him.
"As for Aladdin. I have a more specific location to give you there," Titus started again. He had glanced up for a second towards Byakuya who he also noticed up above him. Ichigo did not see Titus doing that, but Byakuya had apparently not told Ichigo what Titus himself did know about, so the King decided to keep that information to himself. He changed the subject back onto Alibaba and Morgiana's reason for being here, or at least their easiest-to-accomplish mission. "Aladdin went to the Ren Empire."
"Really?" Alibaba asked in surprise. Neither he nor Morgiana expected to hear that. They got much more serious though as Titus nodded his head and explained why.
"He went to ask for Kouen's help in searching for Judar and Hakuryuu." Alibaba frowned deeper while Morgiana darted an anxious look to him. Titus also got a darker and sympathetic look on his face while speaking softly to Alibaba, making Ichigo and Kara each wonder something about those people Titus just mentioned. Their suspicions were confirmed as Titus continued, "After he, killed you… Hakuryuu took over the Ren Empire back on our world. He attempted to do the same here, but Kouen and his other brothers and sisters managed to stop Hakuryuu this time."
"Stopping Al-Tharmen is one of the only things our warring nations agree on," Titus went on. "Though the Monster Association is no friend of the Ren Empire either. It is Judar and Hakuryuu who we are most concerned with though. And who Aladdin has decided to take on first…" Titus trailed off at the end. "I think," he added after a few seconds.
Alibaba rose his eyebrows but then started nodding his head in understanding as to why Titus finished like that. I wonder what Aladdin is really thinking? If possible, when we find those two, I'd like to talk to them first too.
"Well then, we know where we need to go," Morgiana said. She looked to Alibaba for confirmation, and he shook his head around then nodded at her as he got his thoughts straight. "And you, Ichigo?" Morgiana wondered while looking back to the shinigami teen.
"I'm going to stick around a little longer before heading back to Metropolis. I just can't keep ignoring the war the shinigamis are in, if they even are in one." Ichigo's lips furled in frustration at his lack of information, and it was clear to the others that he really did mean to find out the answers before heading home this time.
Ichigo shook his head similarly to how Alibaba did a moment ago. "And you, Kara? What are you going to do now?" Kara hummed and her lips flattened out while she considered the question.
"I got Winn and Cisco back to Resistance territory. That means they're safe now," Kara replied. "And just like all of you, I can't just sit around anymore either. I think, hunting down Al-Tharmen is a good start." Kara said it and glanced back to her side at Alibaba whose expression lit up in surprise but also excitement at what Kara was offering.
Morgiana hesitated though in a way that made Kara look to her in confusion. Morgiana shook her head side to side though telling Kara the look meant nothing. She did purse her lips and look away frustratedly though after a second. Another blonde. Kara did not share much of a resemblance to Daenerys, other than her blonde hair and powerful personality… Morgiana shifted a suspicious look to Alibaba who was too happy to hear that Kara would be coming along.
"I did lose my job," Kara admitted after a moment too, and Ichigo cracked a grin then even laughed at Kara's joke. Like there was nothing better for her to do since she got fired.
"I can guide you two from Awul. I know this continent a lot better," Kara added. Morgiana saw Kara looking at her as if wondering if she was okay with her sticking around, and Morgiana smiled after a second and nodded fast gratefully for the guide who she scolded herself for being jealous of.
"Three of us from Awul," a man with lightening green skin and a shrinking body corrected while walking towards them. Everyone turned towards the Hulk as Bruce Banner was returning, in nothing but a very elastic pair of purple underwear. "Did you all stop working?" Bruce wondered to the group who realized at that moment he had still been helping out with the clean-up as they all stood around talking.
"I am grateful that you are volunteering to be their guide, Kara Zor-El," Titus told the Kryptonian woman. "I am sorry to admit I do not have the manpower to offer you, Alibaba, a guide deep into Co-op territory. Having a Kryptonian with you will make it much less likely you come under attack anyway though."
"Looks like we'll be splitting up," Ichigo said. It seemed like it was the end of the conversation and that the group in front of him was all getting ready to head to the same place. I doubt Soi Fon would tell me anything more than Toshi or Byakuya. I'll just look on my own. There was no reason for him to head to the Ren Empire with the rest of them.
He nodded at Alibaba and Morgiana, then he looked to Kara who he had been traveling with for a few days now. Ichigo lifted his right hand and tried to just wave while saying, "I'll see ya-"
Kara stepped quickly towards Ichigo and hugged him. "Thank you," she told the younger man. Ichigo immediately felt very awkward and just had his arms held out while she wrapped hers around him. "For coming all the way here to tell me. I'm glad you did."
Alibaba and Morgiana both smiled and looked to Ichigo's awkward expression over Kara's shoulder. They were glad to see him being embraced and happy that Ichigo managed to find Kara and give her the news about Clark. Even Titus lifted a small smile after a second. He did not know what was going on, but it was a touching scene. Ichigo pulled back awkwardly after another couple of seconds and coughed into an elbow. "Uh, I'll see you again. Sometime soon," he added.
"Agreed," Kara responded. "I'm looking forward to it, Ichigo."
"Alright. Goodbye, Kara," Ichigo nodded at her then tilted his head up and looked towards a man still frowning down at him from up high in the air. He split off from the group below who needed to plan out their trip to the Ren Empire now. Ichigo was glad to get away from the mushy mood down there, and his expression got serious again as he reached Byakuya where the shinigami captain floated. "You hear all that? I'm sticking around."
"That is not advisable-"
"I don't care," Ichigo retorted before Byakuya could finish. His old opponent frowned darkly at him for Ichigo's attitude, but Ichigo did not back down from Byakuya's look. "Listen. I'm staying. Whether it's a secret or not, I'm going to find out. As much as you hate it, I'm a shinigami too. 'Replacement' or what. So where are the others? Where are the Gotei 13 hiding?"
Ichigo bit down after a second of waiting as Byakuya did not respond once again. He grumbled then just turned his head and glared off in the direction he would start searching. He growled under his breath, "Toshi wouldn't say. You won't tell me. You know I'll just get myself in trouble trying to find out anyway, so why not-"
"Captain Hitsugaya was right not to tell you. However, I see that if I don't point you in the direction, you will no doubt stumble straight to Aizen himself before figuring it out on your own. Hahh," Byakuya sighed and turned to look to the north. Ichigo's expression filled with surprise at the change of heart and he spun back to the other shinigami. His face lit up to see that Byakuya meant it, and he spun the same direction the older man was staring. Byakuya lifted an arm and pointed in the direction Ichigo was to go. "In the center of Aebrith you will find a tower. The Tower of Babel. On the penultimate floor to the top, the Gotei 13 reside. The seat of the shinigami on Nexus. Go, Kurosaki Ichigo. But know that the answers you seek will be a shock to you."
"Sure. Thank you Byakuya!" Ichigo smiled at the man who humphed at Ichigo's dismissal to his warning. Byakuya just turned the other direction and shook his head as there was nothing more he could do than warn him. Ichigo had another question he wanted to ask Kuchiki Byakuya as well, but he shook his head and just focused back into the north. I doubt he'll change his mind about that one. I won't push my luck. But if the Gotei 13 are there, then maybe she will be too. I hope she is. Maybe Rukia could finally make some sense out of this crazy place.
A/N Thanks for reading! The Rhino is from Spider-Man, though I'm mixing his comics' version and the one from ASM2. We get some more Monster Association in this one. A clash in Leam's capital of Remano, foiled by a group of "The Strong" who happened to be there at the time. Ichigo splits off from the others who are heading off to find Aladdin, while he has a new destination. Somewhere a few of our other characters are heading towards as well. As we jump around to all these different story threads, you have to remember that some of them might be going on at the same time as chapters we've already read. Like the first chapters of this arc when Ben and Ichigo reached Zodd and had their epic time there, that was all on like the 3rd and 4th day of "the month." The group with Natsu who went north and fought Sylar then went to the Tower of Babel probably did all that also in like 4-5 days of the start of the month. Sora's chapters at the start of both of these arcs happened I think only one or two days apart from each other. I am trying to pace this story correctly, in that the arcs I'm writing are happening somewhat chronologically. Like, Luffy and Rin and Kuro going on foot towards one of the Hell Gates, that might take a bit longer than Ben and Sora flying to their destinations, or a Resistance team on a vehicle heading to a base also still in Resistance territory. That's why those arcs happened first, and why Luffy and Rin's Hell Arc might come a bit later. I won't spoil what the next arc will be and which team it will follow, but I just wanted to give a quick explanation here about it. Like, why we stopped at the arrival at the Tower of Babel before, and then see this whole arc where we find out that Ichigo is also heading there. Saves me the confusion of then having to go back and explain how he got there, get me? ANYWAY! Bit of a ramble right there. Just thought I'd give you an insight into the process! I was wondering if the monster association was on nexas somewhere now I just need genos and I will be happy but it was nice seeing some more of Bruce and the bit of the hulk also can't wait to see what father has planned also are we gonna see ben 10 000 because technically it's not an alternative future but a alternative dimension because every time ben meets his future self the time-line changes and since there have been mentions of different universes of the same universe could he possibly show up?
I doubt we will but with Nexus nothing is impossible
Will we see Genos someday? Possibly! As for Ben 10,000... also possibly! Lol, I hate to give spoilers, but I'll admit I hadn't thought about that. I always imagined Ben 10k as just a future version of Ben. I also think having 2 Omnitrix's on the world of Nexus would lower the impact of how important Ben's watch is, and Azmuth would probably have noticed as well... I don't know. Just spitballing here as I respond, which shows you how little I've considered the idea. Won't count it out though now that it's been mentioned, but can't say it was planned. Thanks for reviewing! Does Goku still have sage mode and Rinnegan-like-eyes in his super saiyan forms, from that time Timmy wished for him to see Madara, or was that a temporary thing. It would be interesting if during his training sessions, Goku tries decreasing the time it takes to form a spirit bomb and absorbs it into himself but regains his sage mode.
You could even have Goku and Sasuke fight again but this time Goku does the spirit bomb absorption, Sasuke sees his eyes and tells him about it or even helps him.

P.P.S. If you plan on Goku obtaining Super Saiyan 4. I think it should be during a battle at night while the new war.
Very interesting questions. I love that you remember that from the first chapters in his fight against Madara. I do believe his sage mode eyes were brought up again later in the story, perhaps against Kirito? Or Akuma? Maybe. I do believe he still had them in a later fight. I didn't even consider the cool things he could do with that mode though, mainly because Goku doesn't really know what it is that he's obtained too. Definitely something I'll think more about moving forward though and could totally incorporate into a future fight. Glad you love the stories! And we'll see if SSJ4 makes an appearance in this story.
