Sonic tried and tried for a couple of days to interact with his friends, but failed because they wanted time away from him still, though mostly he tries to interact with Knuckles.

Later that Night, He kept thinking of Knuckles so much.

"He has always have been on my mind ever since that day, the fact is... I do have a secret of my own besides being a prince." Sonic said to himself.

He laid on the hammock while looking at the ceiling.

"..I am in love with him. I have a crush on Knuckles." Sonic said as he felt frustrated.

He didn't see the signs. The first sign was during of Tommy Thunder taking credit for Eggman's defeat.

Flashback:

Sonic sighed deeply in stress as Tommy was talking about how he caught the bandits.

He rolled his eyes while looking down.

"Jealous much?" One of the weasel bandits teased.

"Tommy Thunder did nothing but tie you guys up. Besides if there is one person that is brave enough to take down you guys it's Knuckles and he's more manly and handsome than Tommy is." Sonic said before he looked away as he crossed his arms.

Just after saying that, his eyes widened and he blushed.

Knuckles 'who heard what he just said' was surprised.

Sonic just realized what he said when he gasped and blushed more.

"Did he just say..?" The first weasel bandit asked just after he gasped.

"I think he just did..." The third Weasel Bandit answered.

Sonic felt embarrassed while stuttering. He looked at Knuckles 'who was still amazed by that comment Sonic just said'.

"What did I just say?" Sonic muttered in shock as he covered his mouth with his hands.

Flashback Ends:

"Good God. I didn't see that sign when I said he was handsome and manly." Sonic said to himself while turning around.

"But it is true. Hes handsome and manly. He's also real cute too." Sonic said as he blushed with a pouty face.

The second sign was when Knuckles came back from space: Sonic immediately rushed to him.

Flashback:

After seeing The Rocket land roughly onto the sand, he sees Knuckles exit out of the rocket clumsily as Sonic 'in a relief' sees him.

Without hesitation he speeds to Knuckles. But a stone hiding under the sand, tripped the cobalt hedgehog and it caused him to bump into Knuckles and fall

Sonic finds himself on top of Knuckles. His heart started to heat rapidly as he gazed into Knuckles Lavender eyes. He blushed.

"I...I was worried about you K-Knux... Y-you okay?" Sonic asked shyly.

"Yeah, I'm okay Sonic." Knuckles answered him.

He shuttered and shook as if he was shivering.

"Dude, you okay?" Knuckles asked as Sonic was blushing.

"UGH! MAKE IT STOP!" Sonic thought in a panic.

"M-Me?! Yes! I'm fine!" Sonic said in a panic though he was shivering.

"You don't look okay. You are shivering. Are you cold?" Knuckles asked in concern.

Sonic was shivering alright but he was shivering cause he was nervous.

"Come on, let's get you warmed up. Since Eggman won't be bothering anyone anytime soon, might as well have you resting Sonic." Knuckles said as he walked Sonic to the shack.

Flashback ends:

Sonic also thought of the 4 signs that he had a crush on Knuckles; One when after the Fan incident, Knuckles checked on him and Knuckles can tell he is tense from what happened. So he massaged Sonic and that result in Sonic blushing and strangely wanting the desire for Knuckles to touch him.

2 was when Tails was singing on stage for a karaoke night, Knuckles yawned and wrapped his arm around Sonic 'which caused Sonic to blush and his heart beats faster as his speed'. His mind was racing with multiple thoughts.

3 was just after Eggman's defeat from the ocean incident, he got spooked from an explosion from the ocean and it splashed him. Sonic screamed and held onto Knuckles arm. He strangely felt safe as Knuckles was surprised. Sonic panicked and speeds off as he keeps thinking 'Why am I acting like this?!'

4 is where the real obvious signs are on. Since the whole 'Dreamcaster incident' Sonic has been having multiple dreams of Knuckles and him. A few involved dancing with Knuckles like in a fairytale, and some involved kissing and hugging each other.

Sonic normally wakes up with a blush as he gasped and sits up.

But the realization came to him when it was just before the multiple Tails incident.

"I probably wouldn't know all of this if it weren't from an 'unlikely source." Sonic said to himself.

Flashback:

Before There were the Tails clones, Sonic was watching Knuckles from a far working out nearby his home.

He couldn't stop looking at him with a troubled but powerfully loving way.

"Look at me, I'm wasting my time looking at that... that dreamy red man of a best friend. His fur as red as a delicate rose, his eyes... as purple as two shining amethysts. A guy like me can get lost in them until the night comes. Knuckles is just... So handsome." Sonic said from boredom to lovingly.

Sonic couldn't believe why he said that before looking at Knuckles.

"Why can't I stop looking at him? In fact, WHY CAN I NOT STOP THINKING THESE THINGS?!" Sonic asked himself while feeling frustrated as his heart beats more while looking at Knuckles.

That was when a familiar snicker was heard. "You really got it bad 'brother'." A familiar voice said as Sonic gasped before turning to someone he hasn't seen in a long while.

Seelkadoom The hedgehog but his appearance was different. He too had a scarf on but it was dark blue and his shoes and gloves were black with a black vest.

"Huh? What do you want? And what do you mean?" Sonic asked.

Seelkadoom then walks to him slowly with his usual smile.

"Hehe. Isn't it obvious Sonic? You are in love." Seelkadoom said with a grin.

Sonic was dumbstruck before he looks at Knuckles.

"W-What?! Me?! In love with Knuckles?! Y-you can't be serious!" Sonic said in a panic.

"No need to get a panic attack brother. It's normal to feel that way. I've been watching you and I seen the way you have been looking at him." Seelkadoom said while making him look at Knuckles.

"Think about it dear brother, you blush, you get nervous, you always get shy around him, you compliment him, you dream of him, you long for him to fuck you, not to mention you desire him,and you want nobody but him to be with you. You want him to love you and never let you go." Seelkadoom said 'pointing out the signs that Sonic loved Knuckles.'

After a brief thought or two, Sonic finally realized he does love Knuckles but what can the blue hedgehog do?

Flashback ends:

"I probably wouldn't believed it after Seelkadoom told me but after pointing out the signs I haft to believe it. I love him but he doesn't see it." Sonic said to himself as he sighed deeply.

"Maybe I should spend the night at 'his place tomorrow night. If they go too far, I suspect that things would go bad. Hopefully tomorrow will be better and they can forget about this." Sonic said to himself but unfortunately, he couldn't be more wrong.
