Tails rushed out of his house to find Sonic while looking around.
"Guess Sonics at Meh Burger." Tails said to himself while rushing to the village.
By the time he arrived, he sees Meh Burger was crowded as usual.
"Okay, where the heck is Sonic at?" Tails asked himself while looking.
That was when he sees Sonic approaching Meh Burger.
Tails smiled 'thinking he was just in time'.
"Hey Sonic. Over here." Tails shouted for him while waving.
Sonic didn't look or see him. The young fox raised a brow 'assuming he didn't hear him'.
"Sonic? Is everything okay?" Tails asked him. Nothing still.
"Hey. You're not mad are you?" Tails asked in a slightly eager but sorry-looking expression and tone.
Sonic didn't even see or hear him.
Sonic stood beside him while looking.
"Where could he be?" Sonic asked himself.
"Sonic I'm right here." Tails said to him but no reaction.
"Sonic. Can't you see me?" Tails asked but nothing changed.
Tails tried everything to get his attention but nothing was working.
"He said he be here. Where could he be?" Sonic asked while sighing deeply.
Before Tails could say anything, a familiar voice said, "Sorry I'm late blue."
Tails looked 'in shock' to see Scourge walking to him.
"Scourge where the hell have you been?" Sonic asked angrily.
"Sorry. I had to get prepped up for the evening. Plus I still haven't found them yet." Scourge explained while apologizing.
"Well? At least and hopefully they're okay." Sonic said to him.
"You think they're going to be okay Scourge?" Sonic asked Scourge.
"I hope so Blue. We've been searching for a week now." Scourge answered as he placed his hands on his shoulders.
"Scourge?! Are you kidding?! Sonic you can't hang out with him!" Tails said in an alarmed tone but there was no reaction from either of them 'as if he wasn't there'.
"Anyways, how about we go to Barbie-Q's joint? I take it you are getting tired of this trash excuse of a restaurant. Plus it will help take your mind off of this for a short while." Scourge offered while pulling down his shades.
"Like he go with you." Tails said to Scourge.
No reaction still.
"Sure thing Scourge. I'm getting tired of Meh Burger anyways. Besides, Dave smells like a pile of moldy and greasy cheese." Sonic said flatly.
Tails was absolutely shocked at this. He didn't actually think Sonic would agree with their old arch nemesis.
"I heard that." Dave said offensively at the counter as Scourge laughed at it.
"Moldy and Greasy cheese. Real classic blue. Real classic." Scourge said while chuckling.
"This is why I prefer you then hangin out with that idiot Eggman. You understood me than anyone ever could. If this keeps up. You'll probably be my best friend." Sonic said while looking down.
Tails heart sank when he said that while his eyes widened.
"That's touching blue but no one would replace the friends you have." Scourge said as they walked off.
"Sonic wait! I'm right here! Don't do this to me! I'm sorry! Sonic! Listen to me! Don't go with him! Scourge is awful than Eggman. Don't go with him please! look at me! I'm here!" Tails shouted in sorrow and hurt.
No reaction.
"I don't get it. Sonic shoulda heard me." Tails said to himself while feeling hurt.
"Oh no. The invisibility-belts must have made us invisible to the point of us not being seen or heard." Tails said with an alarmed tone.
He had tears in his eyes while watching his friend walk off with a bad boy version of him.
