Once Knuckles arrived at the village alone, he sees Eggman 'who was covered in bruises, scratches, and blood' being arrested by the cops.
Sonic was in Manics arms 'heavily panting with tears in his eyes'.
"What...?" Knuckles muttered.
"He knew. That wretched fat worm knew... He knew how I felt about Knux. Egghead destroyed them. Destroyed the one person I love... I wanna kill him so badly. I just want Eggman dead." Sonic said angrily then hysterically.
"Calm down. He's getting a death sentence. I'll kill him if you want." Manic said 'trying to calm his brother down'.
"Manic? Kill him." Sonic suddenly said. That made Knuckles blood run cold.
"What? Sonic! Don't let this happen!" Knuckles said and to no surprise.
He didn't hear him.
"Very well." Manic said with a serious tone.
He walks off to the guards and the cops 'making immediate arrangements for Eggman's execution'.
Sonic then started sobbing with more heartache and sorrow.
"There there mate. There's plenty of other mates to go around." Fang said 'trying to fix the situation'.
"Not a good time Fang!" Seelkadoom and Scourge shouted at Fang.
Sonic tried to compose himself as he sniffs and tears stream down his face.
"I-I wish it was true but... There is no other echidnas left and in this world... E-even so... No one would be as amazingly funny as him. No one would be cute as him. In fact... NO ONE WOULD BE LIKE HIM!!" Sonic said from calm to hysterical as more tears stream down his face.
"Nice going Fang. You made it worst." Fiona muttered.
"Sorry..." Fang said to Fiona.
"Oh, sorry mate. I..." Fang said trying to be sincere.
"No, it's not your fault Fang. It's just that I'll never find a man like him. Not again." Sonic muttered as he held onto himself.
"What? What is Sonic talking about?" Knuckles asked himself.
That was when Eggman's head was placed on a tree stump as he was in a panic.
"Hey wait! Let's be civilized people!" Eggman said in a panic.
"You wanna talk civilized?! You call blowing them up civilized?!" Sonic shouted at him.
"Oh come on. It was meant for you. I didn't actually expect them or Nibbles to..." Eggman said 'also getting Knuckles name wrong again'.
That made Sonic ticked before he stomped his foot loudly.
"SHUT UP! HOW STUPID CAN YOU ACTUALLY BE?! ITS KNUCKLES YOU DUMBASS! I MEAN REALLY! YOU PEOPLE IN THIS VILLAGE NEVER UNDERSTOOD HIM LIKE I DID! YOU HARDLY EVEN CONSIDERED HIM!! HE CARED ABOUT ANYONE AND I CARED ABOUT HIM!!" Sonic shouted.
"YOU MAKE A FOOL OUTTA HIM!" Sonic shouted at the lightning bolts.
"YOU KEPT TRYING TO DESTROY HIM FOR RUINING YOUR LIFE! EVEN THOUGH HE DID NOT MEAN TO YOU HYPOCRITE!!" Sonic shouted at Charlie.
"WHAT DO YOU ALL KNOW ABOUT HIM ANYWAYS?! WELL?!" Sonic shouted in tears.
"Blue calm down!!" Scourge said in a panic.
"What do you care about that red nitwit?! I am glad he is gone!" Eggman said before laughing 'trying to forget the situation he is in'.
"SHUT UP!! I AM SICK AND TIRED OF YER EXCUSES!! I WILL NEVER EVER!! LET ANYONE TALK TO HIM THAT WAY AGAIN!! BIG BROTHER!! OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!" Sonic said angrily and bitterly in tears.
"Well, baby bro says. I've been waiting to do this a long time." Manic said with a scary grin on his face.
"Wait! Please! I-I'll be good!! Please I don't wanna die!! I promise I will turn over a new leaf. Tell him Sonic! Please spare me." Eggman begged.
"Too late! You had your chance. Once your fate is sealed. I can't stop it. Besides Manics older than I am. I have no control over him. Oh and... Burn in hell, Ro-butthead. You won't harm anyone ever again." Sonic said with deep hate.
Then Eggman screamed in fear. No one bothered to stop it 'the villains were restrained by the guards'.
Manic raised the ax up high.
"MANIC WAIT!!" Knuckles shouted but it was too late. Eggman's head was chopped off with one swift motion.
Blood was dripping down his decapitated body. Sonic had no remorse.
Everyone was looking down as the villains grieved. Except for Barker 'who bet money on Eggman going to die'.
Sonic collapsed onto his knees as he sighed deeply.
"Sonic, why didn't you stop him?! Sonic!!" Knuckles shouted.
No answer.
"I-I did it... I made the decision... But it doesn't bring them back." Sonic said to himself.
Knuckles was confused and scared at the same time.
Seelkadoom walked up to him and kneels down with Manic.
The two comforted Sonic as Knuckles looked at them.
"Sonic...?" Knuckles muttered.
