Rin stood defensively over her unconscious servant. Glaring at a white haired young girl. She had been staring at her for a few minutes.

"Don't be so nervous, unlike your little servant. I will respect the rules to only fight at night. Your Sabre certainly knows how to catch attention." Iliya danced around the pair happily. "You know, I feel like you owe me Rin Tousaka. Thanks to the barrier I put up. When I noticed this little underground match. No weaklings at this school got hurt." She smiled innocently as the brunette responded.

"Well I do admit, you have me at a disadvantage Von Eizenbern." The older girl crossed her arms in her usual defensive manner. "Seems we must negotiate as you have suggested. What is it you want?"

The snow haired child grinned. "Hmm, I doubt you'll agree to be my servant. So how about for now we form an alliance. I have no doubt Beserker can defeat any single servant. However, something is off in this war. An Assassin is both guarding the way to Caster and was defeated not long ago by your Sabre." For a few breaths she looked far older than she appeared. "So tell me Rin, what do you say?"

The eleventh grader was shocked for a moment. Such insight from so young a girl. However, she was from one of the three legendary families after all. 'To think my own concerns are reflected in her own mind.' Her passing thoughts lasted seconds before she made her decision. With an unreadable expression she answered. "Alright Iliya, you have a deal. Were should we start our investigation."

"Ryuudo Temple the lair of the Witch of Colchis, Medea." The young girl danced about happily. As she felt like the first steps to saving her own life had begun.

Rider have never been so glad for what he new of stealth. The two masters were so occupied with their conversation. They hadn't noticed he had breached the barrier. He shouldn't be cocky though. It was only designed to keep out mortals after all. Not to mention, he nearly exposed himself when he heard Caster's true name and location. 'If those two were targeting that area he must warn Zelda immediately.' After leaving the warded area. He returned to the medical room with all haste.

Nurses office...

Kane woke up feeling physically drained yet oddly mentally alert. "What happened?" As her eyes fluttered open. To her surprise she was in the same room with the idol Zelda Sheikah herself. "Uh Sheikah-San, what are you doing here?"

Zelda smiled her best as she tried to defuse the situation. "Oh don't worry Himuro you just collapsed near the practice field. Some concerned students brought you here. I came here to check on a friend and just wanted to make sure you were alright as well." She smiled again knowing she altered the truth very little. She had to be careful after all. The girl would be unusually wise for some time after feeling the touch of Nayru.

Kane felt so clear headed she had to speak her heart. "I see, thank you for caring. Will you pose for me, so I can paint you?" She immediately wanted the words back. Unfortunately, for her life didn't work that way.

The blonde was genuinely surprised at her boldness. So simple a request seemed reasonable under the circumstances. "Sure, I wouldn't mind doing so." Before their conversation could continue a new visitor arrived. It appeared to be a classmate as well. She stood as the red head entered. "Hello Emiya, she is awake now if you wish to visit."

"Oh thanks Sheikah-San, I appreciate you looking after her." Shiro bowed briefly. "Himuro, how are you feeling?"

"Kane was speechless for a moment. She adjusted her glasses nervously. "Emiya, I'm alright what brings you here?"

"I just wanted check on you." He nervously messed with his hair. "Though you father did call the school. He wants me to escort you home when your ready." Shiro took the vacated stool by her bedside. He soon realized as they chatted that Sheikah had departed.

As the door closed Zelda looked at the door. 'He's a master. I don't think he realized I am as well though. How odd.' She paused a short way down the hall as she sensed her servant coming rapidly.

"Lady Sheikah we need to discuss strategy. I have learned important information about our opponents." Rider could see in her eyes. That she was growing annoyed with the formal address from him. He should not have mistakenly used her first name. It was just so strange. How much she looked like the magus that sent him after the Desert King.

Flashback: Rider's first life; The starting point of a Legend...

"The winner of the Twilight tournament, Link Ordon!" The crowd at the contest field cheered as the young man looked about quietly. Midna Chieftain of the Twil clan looked at her oldest friend. She knew he had what it took. Even all those years ago when he treated her so well. So many other kids had called her Imp. Due to her shortness and lack of beauty. However, Link had protected her from the bullies. She even jokingly called him her noble steed. Reguardless, due to his kindness and her work ethic. She had claimed the Fused Shadows and became head of her Magus Clan.

The young man knelt before the Mirror of Twilight. An artifact of mage craft the had the capacity to awaken latent potential. To glance into it was the prize of the Twil tournament he just won. He never would have guessed Midna would come so far. When he first met her as a child. His father was a retired soldier that had insisted he learn to defend himself. He was just glad that training could help someone else as well.

Link looked into the mirror as it grew darker. He felt a fire burning in his chest. In was so intense yet comforting at the same time. He felt a something in his throat that needed to be released. Suddenly, an great howl echoed thru the surrounding woods. Where once a seventeen year old man stood a great wolf with sacred markings now did.

Whispers of the prophecy now began to circulate among the Magus present. A sacred beast would appear when a great evil faced the kingdom of Hyrule. Zelda Sheikah head of the kingdoms magical defenses. Looked on in a mix of awe and horror.
