AN-1: Hello Good People and after a very long while I welcome you to chapter seven as we continue with naruto and company's time as genin with a small skip ahead of three months. We're also drawing closer to the chunin exams with some missions. Also I'm wondering about keeping satsuki as the last member of the harem, mainly because she would be keeping naruto in konoha. However I could have the uchiha leave konoha for uzushio with prince ieyasu's help. Also warning there will be a Trans person in this chapter and you can guess who they will be as they use Hyoton. Now then Let's Begin The Ruckus.

*Land of Fire - Konohagakure no Sato - Three Months Later*

Naruto sits on the back deck of his new place with a certain magic crystal in his hand and a projection of kushina in his hand, "Your sisters must be pissed about all the good things you've done" she says, a mischievous glint in her eyes. Three months have passed since naruto, konan and kaguya have come to konoha, joining their ninja corp as genin and starting on missions. Minato's plan for his son's team to take only c-rank missions and above on the surface seems to benefit konoha as team-11 have aided two daimyo.

"Lady Toki and Lady Haruna will put on niceties with Konoha but will really only work with Lord Ieyasu... How's your team" naruto muses, his fingers tracing the edges of the crystal.

"Good.. Tayuya is a welcomed addition and Rebecca is doing well in her Fuinjutsu training.. Oh Samui and her team came to visit" kushina says, smiling warmly.

"Really" naruto says and kushina nods.

"Yeah and she is Stacked" kushina says and naruto arches an eyebrow, "She's bigger than Baa-chan" she adds with a wide grin, causing naruto to blush red.

"Anyway her teammates are good people.. What about your side" kushina asks, her tone growing a little serious. Naruto crosses his right leg over his left, "We haven't really worked with other teams but that will change today.. However I've seen them around the village but it's been more small talk.. Perhaps they've changed in the last decade" he muses, his expression thoughtful.

"What about the village itself" kushina asks, her eyes filled with curiosity and a head tilt.

"Some good and some bad.. Most had forgotten me but now that I'm back they are weary.. Though not as bad as when I was a kid" naruto says, his voice carrying a mix of resignation and relief as he runs his fingers through his blond hair. The glass door for the deck opens as kaguya steps out, "Hey Kushina" she says with a small smile and her ears twitching.

"Hey Kaguya.. Time to go huh" kushina asks and kaguya nods, "Well I speak to you later.. Bye" kushina adds, her voice warm despite the impending farewell.

"Where's Konan" naruto says, sealing the necklace away and stretching his arms above his head.

"Out front speaking to Yugao-sensei" kaguya says, her rabbit ears twitching slightly as she caught the sound of voices from the front of the house. Naruto gets to his feet and stretches with a pop of his joints, before following kaguya to front of the house and getting his boots. He sees yugao outside with konan and the pair speaking about who knows what, "Hello Yugao-sensei" naruto says, stepping off the porch.

"Hello Naruto" yugao says, her purple hair catching the morning light. Naruto approaches the pair with curiosity evident in his blue eyes, "So.. What are we doing today" he asks, his hands casually tucked into his pockets.

"We'll be starting on inter-team training.. We'll start with Kurenai's team.. I would like to show her your Hunter's Moon Genjutsu.. I think she would like it" yugao replies, her lips curving into a small smile.

"Sounds interesting.. I'm curious to see how our skills compare to theirs" naruto says with a nod, a hint of excitement in his eyes.

"I hope our Genjutsu measures up to the standards of the Genjutsu Mistress of Konoha" kaguya says with a mix of respect but also challenge, as the naruto locks the gate and set the security measures. The four take off at ninja speed to find team-8, finding them in training-ground number twenty-three. Shikamaru is lounging under a tree, his eyes closed but his mind clearly active as he mutters strategies. Shino stands nearby, a cloud of kikaichu buzzing around him in intricate patterns. Satsuki is facing kurenai, her eyes focused as she attempts to replicate a Genjutsu her sensei has just demonstrated.

"Kurenai" yugao calls out as they approach. The ruby eye kunoichi sees the four and gives a slight bow to them and they do the same.

"Naruto... Can you show Team-8 your Hunter's Moon Genjutsu" yugao says, turning to her student and naruto nods with a small smirk on his lips.

"You may want to move closer to me.. Unless you want to be caught in it... Konan" naruto says and konan creates a clone of herself with her kamiton. Satsuki activates her Sharingan to copy the hand-signs, while kurenai stares as naruto shows each sign and stops at bird. The area around them warps to a dark but foreboding forest with a red moon in the sky as team-8 look on in shock, "This feels Real" kurenai says, feeling the chill in the air. All of them start to hear this deep but sorrowful weeping from somewhere around them, "Don't move" naruto says, as the konan clone moves forward. Satsuki's Sharingan spins rapidly while trying to dissect the complex Genjutsu, "This is... Incredible" she murmurs, both impressed and slightly envious of naruto's skill. Her crimson eyes narrow as she focuses on the eerie surroundings, "What is crying" satsuki asks, her voice barely above a whisper.

"The Shy Guy" naruto and kaguya say in unison, their voices carrying a hint of foreboding. Shikamaru's eyebrows shoot up with his usual bored expression is replaced by one of surprise and curiosity, "Shy Guy?!" he exclaims, turning to them with a sudden interest. Konan's face grows serious as her amber eyes scan the illusionary forest, "Something you don't want to meet" she said gravely. As if on cue does the weeping transform into a guttural growling, causing the air to vibrate ominously around them. The paper clone's screams suddenly erupt through the forest, sending chills down everyone's spines.

"How does one Break out" kurenai says with her voice steady but there unease mixed in, attempting the normal way of breaking out of a Genjutsu.

"One can't.. Unless the Caster breaks it" naruto says with a hint of pride and all of team-8's eyes widen.

"The Hunter's Moon has a second component which uses Magic.. Keeping the target within it" kaguya explains, her rabbit ears twitching slightly and her eyes scan the the group to gauge their reactions.

"Can anyone use it" shikamaru asks, his mind racing with possibilities.

"Yes but without the magical component.. Your target can break out" naruto says, showing kurenai and satsuki the signs to break it that ends in dragon.

"Thank you for showing me such a Jutsu.. I will have to compensate you in kind" kurenai says, her voice warm with appreciation. Kaguya's eyes lit up with excitement, "Can you show us some of your Genjutsu" she asks eagerly, her curiosity piqued by the prospect of learning from konoha's genjutsu mistress. Kurenai smiles warmly at kaguya's enthusiasm, "I'd be happy to demonstrate some techniques.. However I think we should first focus on our inter-team exercise" kurenai says, her ruby eyes glancing between the two teams.

"Kurenai's right.. We're here to see how you've all progressed since graduation" yugao says, nodding in agreement.

"Alright.. For our inter-team exercise.. We'll do a spar" kurenai said, her voice taking on a more authoritative tone.

"The first one will be Naruto and Shikamaru" yugao says and shikamaru sighs, muttering mendokusei as the pair put a little distance between their teams with yugao.

"Both ready.. No crippling blows.. Jutsu are allowed but don't go crazy Naruto" yugao says, giving her student a pointed look. Shikamaru takes up the standard academy stance, his body tense despite his outward appearance of laziness. Naruto simply slips his hands into his pockets, his posture relaxed and almost nonchalant.

"That's your stance" shikamaru says, his eyebrow raised and naruto nods.

"It's called the Hand-Pocket stance" naruto says, his voice casual but with a hint of amusement as yugao calls a begin to the spar and shikamaru starts to study naruto's stance.

"So that stance requires you to put your hands in your pockets" shikamaru says and naruto nods, taking a few steps forward.

"That would slow you down" shikamaru says but notices the blond's smile, "Or it makes no difference" shikamaru adds and naruto remains quiet. He makes the first move and shikamaru narrowly moves his head as the blond's spear like thrust whizzes pass his head by mere centimeters.

"What the Hell?!" shikamaru thought, his eyes wide with surprise as he quickly moves away from the blond. His gaze flickers rapidly, reassessing the situation and his opponent.

"Impressive speed.. I didn't even see you move your hands" shikamaru said aloud, his voice a mix of admiration and wariness. Naruto's smile widens slightly, "The Hand-Pocket stance isn't about restricting movement.. It's about misdirection and unpredictability" he explains, his hands still casually in his pockets. Shikamaru's eyes narrows with his mind racing to analyze this new information but quickly forms the sign for his shadow paralysis and his shadow shoots forward but naruto dodges. Shikamaru quickly breaks his jutsu as naruto closes the gap and attempts to keep the blond off of him but his moves are fluid and dangerous.

"He's skilled and dangerous" shikamaru thought but jerks as naruto grabs his wrist, tossing him over his head to the ground.

"Mendokusei.. I give up" shikamaru says and naruto helps him up.

"Konan and Satsuki.. You're turn" yugao says, her eyes scanning both teams. The two kunoichi stare each down as satsuki slips into her clan's interceptor fist and konan takes a loose stance, "Begin" yugao says, bringing her arm down.

"How many styles do you know" shikamaru asks, curiosity evident in his voice. Naruto watches satsuki and konan spar like elegant dance as satsuki counters each of konan's moves, "A few.. No set style though" he says, his blue eyes tracking their movements and his tone casual.

"Naruto.. Would you let some of my Kikaichu sample your chakra" shino asks with voice low and steady, while entering the conversation.

"Sure.. I have no issue with it but be careful" naruto says, his eyebrow raised slightly. A few kikaichu move up shino's face and fly to naruto's raised hand, "Are the Kikaichu the only insects the Aburame Cultivate" naruto asks, watching the small bugs with interest.

"We have different species.. May I ask why" shino asks, his expression unreadable behind his high collar.

"Well I am looking for some home-made Honey or a chance to make a honeybee hive to do so" naruto says, his voice carrying a hint of excitement. Shino nods with his interest piqued by naruto's unusual request, "I will speak to Father with your request" shino said, his voice betraying a slight note of intrigue.

"Thanks Shino.. I'd really appreciate that" naruto says with a smile, nodding appreciatively.

"Shino and Kaguya your turn" yugao says, cutting into their conversation and the pair take their place.

"Do you like Honey" kurenai asks, her ruby eyes filled with curiosity and her tone casual but interested. Naruto glances at konan with a fond smile playing on his lips, "She likes honeyed tea.. I try various recipes as well from different books I've read" he said, gesturing towards his blue-haired teammate.

"He has quite the collection of books.. Though most are back in Insomnia" konan says, a small smile gracing her features.

"You like to read" satsuki asks with her eyes studying him and naruto nods, glancing to kaguya as she uses several kicks that shino has to dodge.

"I read as a child and I still do.. I like to star gaze or watch clouds.. It allows me to escape" naruto replies, his voice thoughtful.

"It strips things away" shikamaru comments and glances to kaguya, "I've been wanting to ask.. Can Kaguya use the Byakugan" he adds, curiosity sparking in his eyes. The question hangs in the air as they all turn to watch kaguya and shino's spar, each pondering the implications of shikamaru's query. The rabbit-eared girl moves with a grace that seems almost otherworldly, her pale eyes focused intently on her opponent. Naruto's expression remains neutral but there is a glint of something unreadable in his blue eyes, "Not that we know of but the Hyuga we've seen around the village are giving Kaguya the side-eye.. Though they haven't tried anything unbecoming.. Then again I would like to see if she can" he says, his voice low and thoughtful as kaguya's spar finishes. Shikamaru nods with his sharp mind already considering the implications, "Interesting" he murmurs, his eyes following kaguya as she rejoins the group and wiping her brow.

"Now that the spars have finished.. We'll pair you off to..." yugao starts but two Anbu appear with the mask for kame and bull. The atmosphere immediately tenses, the genin exchanging quick glances as they wait for the Anbu to speak.

"Hokage-sama wishes to see the Genin of Team-11" Anbu bull says, his voice firm and devoid of emotion.

"Well this interrupts our inter-training but orders are orders" yugao says with a slight sigh, as both Anbu vanish.

"We'll return Yugao-sensei" naruto says, his voice calm despite the unexpected summons.

"Meet me at the mission hall once you are finished" yugao says and the three nod, before excusing themselves to make their way to the hokage tower.

Kaguya's ears twitch with nervous energy as they leap from roof top to roof top, "What could this be about" she wonders aloud, her pale eyes darting between her best friends. Naruto merely shrugged with his face a mask of calm, "No use speculating.. We'll find out soon enough" he said, his voice steady. Konan nods in agreement with her amber eyes focused on the path ahead, "Whatever it is.. We'll face it together" she added, her voice carrying a note of quiet determination as they reach the imposing structure of the hokage tower.

Minato sits in his office with hiashi and his twin brother while waiting for his son's team to arrive, "Even if she possesses the Byakugan.. You can do Nothing about it" minato says, his voice firm but not unkind. Hiashi clutches his fist within his robe as the last three months he has been trying to convince minato to deal with this unknown girl from niflheim.

"I know that Yondaime-sama" hiashi says, anger seeping into his tone despite his efforts to remain composed. He has long, black hair and feature-less white eyes, wearing loose fitting robes with a long-sleeve, brown haori and blue obi.

"I can't believe someone from our clan would.. Would commit such an act on a defenseless woman" hiashi's twin brother Hizashi says, his voice tinged with disbelief and a hint of shame. He looks identical to his brother but wears a konoha uniform with black gloves on his hands.

"You know the stories about Demihuman women.. They are a Lascivious people" hiashi says, his voice low but carrying a note of conviction. Minato's eyes narrow slightly at hiashi's words, "We shouldn't judge based on rumors or stereotypes Hiashi-san.. Each individual should be judged on their own merits" minato said, his tone carrying a gentle rebuke.

"Regardless though.. She will be tested and this matter will be dropped but I will impress upon Naruto to come to an agreement" minato adds with a firm tone. Hiashi nods slowly but the tension in his shoulders didn't ease. The room falls into an uneasy silence, broken only by the soft ticking of the clock on the wall. Another fifteen agonizing minutes pass when minato's secretary pokes her head in to say team-11 have arrived, breaking the tense atmosphere.

"Send them in" minato says, his face relaxing slightly and the door fully opens to allow the three to enter the office.

"How can we help you Lord Fourth" naruto says, glancing to the hyuga brothers.

"Lord Hiashi wishes to test Kaguya to see if she possesses his Clan's Dojutsu or if her eyes were just a birth aesthetic" minato says, resting his elbows on the desk while leaning forward. Kaguya stares at the hyuga brothers with an innocent expression on her face, "Lord Hiashi.. If I do possess your clan's Dojutsu.. Would you be willing to help me find out who my father was or is.. I know he did what he did was Very wrong but I would like to meet him" she says, her voice but clear.

"We will try Girl.. Hizashi show the hand-signs to activate the Byakugan" hiashi says, his tone gruff but not unkind. Hizashi comes around the sofa where his brother is seated and starts slowly with the signs of horse, tiger with just index fingers, boar with nearly straightened fingers, hare, rat, dog, horse, dog, hare, rat, boar with nearly straightened fingers, and snake with the right index finger lifted.

"A lengthy chain of hand-signs for a Dojutsu.. Satsuki is able to activate hers with ease" naruto says, taking a small dig at hiashi and the patriarch narrows his eyes but doesn't take the bait. Hizashi does the signs a second time for kaguya and the demihuman tries her hand at it, causing her to groan as veins become pronounced on her face to her eyes. This causes hiashi to internally grit his teeth in rage at the sight of kaguya's Byakugan while hizashi is surprised and minato's interest is piqued.

"Amazing.. I can see so much" kaguya says and looks to naruto, seeing the flowing purple chakra from his stomach through his body but the blue chakra of the others, even seeing behind her.

"Stop the flow of chakra to your eyes and the Byakugan will deactivate" hizashi says with his tone gentle and kaguya does so.

"So it seems Kaguya does possess the Dojutsu of the famed Hyuga clan" naruto says, his tone neutral but his eyes sharp as he observed hiashi's reaction.

"So does that make her a member of the Hyuga clan now" konan says, her question hanging in the air and loaded with implications.

"No" hiashi snaps, his voice cold and eyes hard as he glares at kaguya. The tension in the room seems to spike at his curt response.

"Kaguya... The Hyuga are very strict about their Dojutsu.. If someone learns that you possess it.. They may move to steal your eyes or kidnap you" minato says, his blue eyes serious as he addresses kaguya.

"That's his plan.. He trying to convince Kaguya that it would be best to be sealed with the Cage Bird seal" naruto thought, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"Then they would have her under their thumb and you as well because you would want to protect her" veldora says, as if confirming the blond's suspicions and naruto mentally nods.

"The Hyuga have a special seal that protects their members.. It would be best for your safety to have the seal applied" hiashi says with his voice smooth but there is a sinister urgency and hizashi frowns slightly.

"Lord Hiashi.. Why leave out that the seal can be used to inflict pain on the barer" naruto says, his voice calm but edged with steel and hiashi's eyes narrow to flicker in anger.

"What do you know boy?!" hiashi says, his anger bubbling to the surface like a volcano on the verge of eruption. Naruto places a hand on kaguya's shoulder to rub it, "I may have been Five when I left Konoha but I still saw things that were etched into my memory" he says and glances to his father, "I saw a member of Hyuga clan using said seal.. I still remember her screams" he adds, his eyes filled with a mix of disappointment and accusation. The room fell into a shocked silence as kaguya's ear twitch with distress, "Do all of the Hyuga clan wear such a ghastly seal" she asks, concerned for her well-being and playing her part but hiashi didn't answer.

"Lord Hokage.. Do all of the Hyuga clan wear such a ghastly seal" kaguya asks again, looking to the hokage as her voice is soft but tinged with worry. Minato glances to hiashi and could read the man's eyes of don't tell them, "No they do not.. The Cadet branch of the Hyuga wear the seal" minato says with a heavy sigh.

"It is for the Protection of the Hyuga!" hiashi shouts, his composure finally shattering completely. His face is flushed with anger and his white eyes blazing. Hizashi winces at his brother's outburst, a mixture of shame and sadness crossing his features. He unconsciously touches his forehead, where the seal lay hidden beneath his hitai-ate.

"Then why don't the Main branch wear the seal" naruto says, his tone sharp and challenging but hiashi sends a scathing look to the blond. The look is filled with indignation at being questioned by someone he considers an outsider.

"It is the order of things.. That has lasted since the beginning of the clan" hiashi says, his voice cold and unyielding. Naruto's lips curves into a sardonic smile, "Well Kaguya is not part of the Hyuga... She is quite the Mage and I'm sure she can protect her new Dojutsu" naruto says, a hint of shade coloring his tone.

"Are the Hyuga willing to let Kaguya have some materials to be able to use the Byakugan properly" konan asks, her voice neutral but tinged with a hint of hope.

"Not unless she has the seal applied.. The same goes for finding her father.. One of her Kind probably deserved it" hiashi says, his voice leaving no room for argument. The moment the words leave hiashi's mouth, the atmosphere in the room shifts dramatically. A cold sweat breaks out on hiashi's brow as he feels an overwhelming pressure descend upon him. The source is naruto staring at him with his face hidden in shadow but even without seeing his expression, everyone in the room could feel the killing intent leaking from him. It is palpable and oppressive, like a thick fog settling over the office.

"Naruto!" minato shouts but the younger blond ignores him, as naruto stares right through hiashi. The hyuga clan head finds himself unable to move, pinned in place by naruto's invisible but very real pressure. For the first time in a long while does hiashi feel a flicker of real and unyielding fear. The tension in the room reaches a fever pitch as the Anbu hidden in the shadows of the office tense, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice. Konan and kaguya move before the situation could escalate further, placing their hands gently on naruto's shoulders with their touch seeming to anchor him.

"Naruto.. He's not worth it" konan murmurs, her voice soft but firm.

"Please Naruto.. Let it go" kaguya adds, her pale eyes filled with concern. Slowly does the oppressive aura begin to recede as naruto's shoulders relax under their touch, though his eyes remained fixed on hiashi for a moment longer. The room seems to hold its breath, waiting to see what would happen next.

"Careful with your words Hiashi Hyuga" naruto says, his face a mask of cold indifference. His voice is low and controlled but carries an undercurrent of danger that sends shivers down the spines of those present.

"You don't frighten me boy" hiashi says, though the slight tremor in his voice betrayed his true feelings and rises to his feet.

"Excuse me Hokage-sama" hiashi adds with an incline of his head, leaving with his brother following.

"Why would you threaten a Clan Head" minato says, his voice a mixture of disbelief and disappointment but also frustration.

"I threatened a Clan Head with Six little words.. He threatened harm upon someone I care for... However let's revisit the fact that he called Kaguya's deceased mother a Whore.. When it is one of his clansmen.. Living or dead who harmed her" naruto says, his gaze hardening with his eyes on his father.

"We don't know the whole story.. Forgive me Kaguya but your words are not enough to make believe the story" minato says, while rubbing his temples to avoid a forming headache.

"Of course you don't believe it... By your leave then" naruto says as his voice drips sarcasm, before kaguya and konan follow him out minato's office as the older blond releases a weary sigh. A few minutes pass before the door suddenly opens as cersei enters with a scowl on her face, "Why was He here?!" she says, her eyes flashing in anger.

"The ongoing issue with the Hyuga.. Something that will only continue to grow worse" minato says, his blue eyes reflecting exhaustion. Cersei's scowl deepens as she approached his desk, "Why do you indulge him.. Simply give him what that Woman left him and be done with him.. You have Azula and Asuka.. Also I have your male heir in my belly" she says, sitting in his lap. Minato places his right hand on her growing belly, "I know Cersei but I want Naruto to pay Konoha and I back for his First five years here.. Using him and his team has aided us by getting us alliances with the Land of Vegetables and Land of Birds.. Then there will the Chunin Exams.. Even if he's a Bastard.. He is still my son and I can show the other countries my power" he says, his voice a mix of affection and weariness.

"Perhaps I can aid you My Love" cersei purrs, running her fingers through his blond hair and she has smile on her face but it doesn't reach her eyes.

"What sort of aid" minato questions but cersei places two fingers on his lips.

"Best you don't know My Love.. Plausible Deniability" cersei says, a predatory smile on her face. Minato's eyes widens slightly at her words, a mixture of intrigue and concern flashing across his face. He opens his mouth to speak but cersei leans in, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. Cersei's green eyes sparkles with determination as she pulls away, "Trust me Minato.. I'll take care of everything.. You just focus on being the Hokage" she whispered, her voice honeyed but with an underlying steel. Minato hesitates for a moment but then nods slowly, "Very well.. But Cersei be careful.. Naruto may be... Difficult.. He's still my son" he said, his voice low. Cersei's smile never falters as she nods but there was a coldness in her eyes that belies her agreeable demeanor, "Of course My Love.. I'll handle everything with the utmost... Discretion" she said smoothly. The couple falls into silence, the air in the office seems to thicken with unspoken plans and hidden agendas. The soft ticking of the clock continues, marking the passage of time and the approach of events that would shape the future of konoha but also its inhabitants.

"That went as expected" naruto says, his voice tinged with a hint of resignation as the three approached the entrance to the mission hall. Kaguya's pale eyes reflect her concern as she turns to face naruto, "Still... We'll have to deal with them" she said softly, her brow furrowing slightly. Naruto's expression softens as he gazes at kaguya, before he leans in and gently touches his forehead to hers in a gesture of reassurance. The warmth of his skin against hers seems to calm her nerves, "No harm will come to you.. The Hyuga don't have the balls to go against the new Daimyo" naruto says, as they enter the hall to find yugao waiting for them.

"Good news or Bad news" yugao asks, her voice carrying a hint of resignation but knowing what things were about.

"Both.. I have the Byakugan but the Clan Head won't be helpful" kaguya says, her voice quiet but firm.

"I don't know much about the Byakugan but I can speak to Might Gai of Team-3.. One of his Genin is a Hyuga" yugao says, processing the information.

"If the Clan Head is any indication.. He may not help but it couldn't hurt to ask" naruto says, his tone skeptical and his blue eyes narrowing slightly in thought.

"Are we taking a mission" konan asks, her amber eyes curious as yugao looks over kaguya but shakes her head.

"How about we take one tomorrow.. Meet me at Ten" yugao says and the three nod, before the Anbu vanishes with a leaf shunshin.

"Since we free.. How about I make you two hamburger steaks with fried rice" naruto says, a warm smile spreading across his face. Konan's expression softens and her amber eyes twinkling with appreciation, "That sounds wonderful Naruto" she said, her voice carrying a hint of excitement. Kaguya nods enthusiastically and her pale eyes brighten at the prospect of a home-cooked meal, "I'd love that" she adds softly. The three leave the mission hall and ste outside into the warm sunlight. They make their way through the bustling village streets, weaving between vendors and civilians as they gather ingredients for their meal. The aroma of fresh produce and spices fill the air, mingling with the chatter of villagers going about their day.

"I'll head to the Black-Market Bazaar near the Capital and see if they have anything on the Byakugan" naruto says, once they were in the safety of their property.

"Are you sure.. You can acquire some information in one night" konan says with worry in her tone, as they start unpacking things and naruto starts on the steaks.

"I know the Byakugan can see Three-hundred and sixty degrees.. Can see one's chakra but are there other things that can be useful" naruto says, his expression growing thoughtful as the sizzle of meat fills the kitchen from hitting the pan. Kaguya pauses in her task of preparing the rice with her pale eyes distant as she recalls the earlier incident, "It was strange to witness" kaguya says, her hands moving mechanically as she washes the grains and konan chops the veggies. The three finish their meal and decide to eat on the back deck with small talk mixed in as the enjoy the ambience.

"You don't want us to come with you" konan asks with a little worry in her tone, as they pick up their dishes.

"I'll be fine.. I'll leave a clone in case someone decides to pay us a visit" naruto says, his voice low and reassuring.

"See if you can find more information on Akatsuki too" kaguya says and the blond nods. Naruto creates a clone that is reinforced by veldora's chakra, "I'm going to take a quick shower and get ready" he announces, heading towards the bathroom. Konan and kaguya exchange worried glances as they know naruto could handle himself but they couldn't help feeling concerned.

"Do you think he'll be okay" kaguya asks softly, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.

"Naruto's smart and capable.. He'll be fine" konan says, trying to project confidence and her words are as much to reassure herself. Naruto finishes his shower several minutes later and dresses himself in black military cargo pants with his kingsglaive boots. A white and black long-sleeve henley with skull graphic, black gloves with silver knuckles and his old kingsglaive frock coat. He grabs a few scrolls with a few gold bars inside and a special coin given to him by ravus for black market bazaars.

"I should be back by dawn.. If not the Clone should last a day at least" naruto says with his tone calm and serious, while putting on his boots.

"Be careful" kaguya said softly, her hand reaching out to touch his arm. Naruto gives of them a hug and a kiss as slips on his half cloth mask and activates his stealth spell to leave their home, moving through the village towards the main gate. He sees the gate in sight and passes through a small gust of wind, "Why do you think you can find on the Hyuga" veldora says, curiosity evident in the dragon's tone.

"People talk for the right price.. Plus I should show Vortex Heart's face" naruto says, slipping on his mask. He gets about ten miles from the village before bringing out his bike and heading to his destination in the town of Honorein. The journey to the town takes about three hours and he arrives well after sunset, the town is bustling with the seedy nightlife as he leaves his bike near the main gate. People watch him and appraise him but the air about naruto keeps them from acting, women and men of the night attempt to lure him into their webs. A woman in a tight dress sidles up to him with her perfume heavy in the air, "Hey handsome.. Looking for some company tonight" she purrs, running a finger down his arm. Naruto gently but firmly removes her hand, "Not tonight" he said, his voice low and polite but firm.

"Your loss buddy!.. She's the best in town!" a man calls out after naruto continues on. Naruto makes his way to a club called the Dark Flame and shows the coin to one of the bouncers, a few people murmur and gossip about him but that is fine as it further spreads the name of vortex heart.

"Did you see that?!.. Is that... Vortex Heart?!.. I thought he was just a rumor..." a few patrons whisper, as the interior of the club is a sensory overload. Heavy bass pulse through the air, the dance floor a sea of writhing bodies under strobing lights. Naruto weaves through the sea of people and meets another one of the bouncers that leads naruto to the upstairs of the club and into a office with a woman sitting at a desk. The room is lit well with plush carpets and dark wood paneling that seems to absorb the soft light from ornate lamps.

"It's rare to see one of Vortex Royals" she says, showing her white teeth with a smile as her voice is smooth and sultry. She has a sinful figure poured into a tiny red dress, black pantyhose and red heels, her hair is wavy strawberry blonde and her eyes a sky-blue filled with intrigue.

"My name is Sidra and how can I help you Vortex Heart" she adds, after sipping from a glass of wine. Naruto removes his hood and takes a seat on the sofa to the right of the desk to face another sofa, "I'm in need of information on the Hyuga of Konoha" he says and sidra smiles, "And the Akatsuki" he adds and she frowns softly.

"The first is simple.. The second not so much" sidra says, rising from her desk and making her way to the other sofa with a seductive sway of her hips.

"I'm willing to pay on both" naruto says, his voice calm and steady. Sidra sits down and crosses her legs but the movement causes her dress to ride up slightly, offering naruto a glimpse of purple panties. It is clearly intentional and a tactic to distract or disarm but naruto's expression remains impassive.

"Why do you wish to know these things" sidra says, her tone curious but cautious.

"I'd rather not say.. The Walls may have ears" naruto says and sidra giggles, a sound that was both charming and slightly unsettling.

"Of course.. Of course" sidra says and snaps her fingers for more wine, "There are those who escape the Hyuga.. Most destroying their eyes in the process but their knowledge sold for the right price" she adds, as a man pours her some more wine.

"The Hyuga are a old clan.. As old as the Senju.. Uchiha and Uzumaki but their insular thoughts make them different" sidra starts and takes a sip of wine to wet her palate, "They believe the First-born is more powerful.. No matter if the second child is stronger" she adds, her voice taking on a more serious tone.

"I believe that would weaken the family line but they have remained a strong clan... What I want is information on skills coupled with the famed Dojutsu.. I've acquired someone who was born from an incident and possess the famed Byakugan.. I wish to make them strong" naruto says, leaning forward and his interest piqued.

"I see.. Though the Byakugan is really known for their Visual Prowess or their Juken Taijutsu" sidra says, swirling the wine in her glass thoughtfully. Naruto pulls out two scroll and opens one to channel some chakra, causing sidra's eyes to light up at the sight of five gold bars but widen more at sight of five more bars.

"What information on the Hyuga you have is fine.. Now the other half of why I came.. The Akatsuki" naruto says, his voice calm and businesslike. Sidra schools her face to serious one and drinks some more wine, "They a very secretive organization with very powerful members" she starts, her voice low and cautious.

"However powerful" naruto asks, his eyes never leaving sidra's face.

"All of them are S-class ninja" sidra replies, her tone grave.

"Hmph.. With my full power.. You're S-class too!" veldora boasts but naruto ignores him, focusing on the information at hand.

"I see.. Any notably members" naruto asks, his voice betraying no emotion.

"Hmm.. Since you are so generous... Kisame Hoshigaki.. The Tail-less Tailed Beast.. Genma Himuro.. The Immortal Demon.. And the man who survived the Shodaime Hokage.. Kakuzu Takaya" sidra says, her tone low and measured before taking a sip of wine.

"Lovely Titles.. They are worth their names" naruto says with a hint of dry humor, pushing the ten bars of gold towards her. Sidra's eyes lit up at the gesture, "Thank you for your Generosity.. As a token of respect.. I will give you two pieces of information for free and one concerns your saving of the Fire Prince Ieyasu Oda" sidra says, a genuine smile gracing her features. Naruto crosses his legs with a small chuckle, "I knew saving such a person would garner me the ire of some" he says, his tone light but his eyes sharp.

"Indeed you have.. In fact those same people came for information on you.. As a professional courtesy I am telling you this" sidra says, her expression serious.

"Thank you for telling me... Speaking of the Royal Prince.. What did happen after I saved him" naruto says, his interest piqued and uncrosses his legs to add another five bars from a third scroll.

"It was revealed his Uncle Odayasu attempted to have the Prince killed for the slight of being passed over as heir.. He was stripped of his Titles and Land... In his abject shock took his own life" sidra explains, her voice taking on a storyteller's cadence.

"I see and other piece of information" naruto asks, his expression unreadable behind his mask while absorbing the information. Sidra leans forward and her eyes sparkle with intrigue, "The Godaime Mizukage Yuri Zahard is searching for the lost Kubikiribocho" she replies, her voice low and conspiratorial. Naruto's eyebrows raises slightly, "Yuri Zahard?" he repeats, curiosity evident in his tone.

"She is the Jinchuriki of the Rokubi Biju and leader of the former Rebel faction.. They manage to kill the Mad Mizukage and despite being a Jinchuriki herself was named Mizukage" sidra explains, her voice taking on a more serious note.

"So she wishes to find the Lost Swords" naruto says and sidra nods as the blond rises to his feet, "I see.. Thank you for the information and as a profession courtesy.. How long before certain elements learn I have been here" he adds, his voice thoughtful. Sidra stares into naruto's hidden eyes but a calculating look crosses her face before it settles into a smile, "They are in the city.. So perhaps one hour" she says, her voice casual but her eyes sharp.

"Good.. Tell them I'll be about ten miles outside the town.. I would prefer not to shit where I eat" naruto says with his tone neutral and sidra raises her glass to him.

"Thank you for your patronage Vortex Heart" sidra says, a look of respect and her voice warm. Naruto inclines his head slightly in acknowledgment before turning to leave. He makes his way through the club, the pulsing music and writhing bodies a stark contrast to the quiet intensity of sidra's office.

"Who do you think is looking for you.. Besides Kirigakure" veldora says, curiosity evident in the dragon's voice.

"Someone in Odayasu's camp" naruto thought, making his way through the town towards the main gate. Naruto notices a small crowd gathered around it as he approaches his bike. Their eyes were wide with curiosity and awe, examining the sleek machine from every angle.

"What is this thing" naruto hears someone mutter, their voice filled with wonder.

"It's Regalia from the south" naruto says casually and getting their attention, his voice carrying a hint of pride. A snotty-looking man is surrounded by a few giggling women, turns to appraise naruto. His eyes narrow as he looks the blond up and down, a smirk playing on his lips.

"I'll give you thirty thousand for it" the man declares, his tone dripping with arrogance. The women around him titter and are clearly impressed by his apparent wealth but naruto remains unphased.

"Not for sale" naruto says coolly, swinging his leg over the bike. With a surge of pink energy from the front wheel, the motorcycle roars to life and eliciting gasps from the onlookers.

"Fifty" the man shouts, his voice rising in desperation as naruto prepares to leave. Naruto scoffs while shaking his head, "You could buy one in the south for that" he said, a hint of amusement in his voice. Without another word, revs the engine and speeds off down the path while leaving the crowd in a cloud of dust. He rides the ten miles and find a clear area near the road to wait for the one whoever wants him dead or crippled. Naruto reaches into his frock coat and pulls a pack of menthol cool, before slipping one into his mouth and lights it with a small flame.

"You don't smoke around them" veldora says with a hint of disapproval and naruto shakes his head, taking a drag and release some smoke.

"We all have our coping mechanisms" naruto muses, as he summons bren to check things out. Naruto thought about his promise to juzo about not letting kiri get their hands on the kubikiribocho but if minato learned he had the sword, "He would use it as a way to curry favor with the Godaime and gain an alliance" he muses, blowing smoke and looking at the night sky.

"Politics.. Always complicating things" veldora grumbles in naruto's mind.

"True.. But sometimes.. They can be used to our advantage" naruto muses, taking another drag and some smoke seeps out his but most is pulled into his nose. He would continue to stare at the stars for about forty minutes as the night is quiet until bren lands on his windscreen, "A large group is coming.. About twenty strong.. Samurai and a Shinobi" she says her voice tinged with urgency.

"Well that's interesting" naruto says, getting off his bike and stretching with his muscles pushing on his clothes. He walks down the small incline to the open field and bren flies overhead as he spits the remains of his cigarette. He starts bouncing on his toes and shaking his arms to limber up as the group soon arrives.

"Are you Vortex Heart?!" one of them shouts with clear disdain. He is middle-aged man with black hair in a topknot and a full beard but no goatee, wearing all black with red armor and a sword on his hip. Naruto looks over the twenty people but the blond notices a few of the samurai have auto crossbows, then shifting his gaze to what be assumed the ninja of the group. He looks in his early twenties with black hair in a bun and blue eyes, wearing a dark hakama with sandals. A form-fitting long sleeve dark shirt with red stripes around the sleeves and a sleeveless light kosode with a katana across his lower back.

"I am and you are" naruto says calmly, his voice carrying across the field. The leader's face twists with anger and steps forward, "I am Zhao and your death will bring back the honor of my master!" he shouts, his hand gripping the hilt of his sword tightly.

"He tried to kill the new Fire Daimyo.. He abandoned his Honor long before I saved Prince Ieyasu" naruto says, his voice steady and clear while removing his hood. A ripple of murmurs spread through the group at naruto's words. Some of the samurai exchange uneasy glances, while others tighten their grips on their weapons.

"You dare speak of honor?!.. You who interfered in matters beyond your understanding!" zhao spits, his face contorted with rage.

"I understand more than you think.. I understand that your master's actions would have plunged the Land of Fire into chaos.. Is that what you consider honorable?!" naruto says, unfazed by zhao's outburst.

Zhao's face contorts with rage and his knuckles turning white as he grips the hilt of his sword, "It does not matter.. Your death will serve him in the afterlife... Fire!" he shouts, spittle flying from his mouth. The samurai open fire with their auto-crossbows but all they hit are naruto's weapons swirling around to block each one. The clang of metal on metal echo across the field as bolt after bolt were turned aside. Zhao's eyes widen in disbelief, his teeth grinding audibly as he watches his initial assault fail. Zhao grits his teeth in rage as the shinobi next to him reaches for his sword, "Keep him occupied Sir Zhao" the shinobi says, his voice slow and steady.

"Make sure you kill him Musou" zhao says, his eyes never leaving naruto. Musou slowly draws his sword and raises a half-ram sign as he vanishes, while the auto crossbows slow their barrage. Naruto sees the barrage slow but his body jerks and he moves his head as the right side of his mask shatters. A piece of the mask above his eyebrow cuts him as naruto staggers back with a skid and musou in front him, "It seems I missed" musou says, his voice devoid of emotion.

"Missed you say.. You broke my mask and it cut me" naruto says, a hint of incredulity in his voice and feeling the warm trickle of blood. Musou points his blade with a blank look, "I meant to take your head off your shoulders.. So I missed" he says matter-of-factly. Naruto wipes his brow and loosens his frock to take it off, "Cheeky Bastard" he says, letting the coat drop and brings out the katana of the warrior. Musou blitzes forward with a gatotsu strike but naruto blocks the strike with a clang, vibration moving up their arms and naruto dodges the follow-up side-sweeping attack.

"His attacks are making no sound" naruto thought, as they clash across the field. Musou presses his attacks with each strike precise and lethal. Naruto matches him blow for blow, their dance of death illuminated by the stars above. The watching samurai stand in awe, their auto-crossbows forgotten as they witnessed the duel unfolding before them.

"He managed to close the distance of twenty feet with ease and no sound either" veldora comments, his voice tinged with curiosity. Musou closes the gap and naruto tries to parry once more but musou's arm seems to extend unnaturally as the blond overextends, allowing musou to slash his chest. Naruto backpedals with a skid and narrow eyes as he reassesses his opponent but pushes forward into another clash, which musou gets the upper hand to send the blond back. The auto crossbows spin up once again but naruto ignites the air with fire as he waves his hand, firing several fireballs towards the samurai and he narrowly dodges musou once again.

"It's almost like the Silent Killing but no mist" naruto thought with his mind racing, while making a fist as the fire explodes killing the samurai and forcing zhao to dodge. Musou closes the gap and another furious clash happens as both switch from right to left with their swords, their moves an elegant dance and telling a story as they do. They break apart with a skid and their clothes cut but naruto looking more cut, "The way you fight.. It is quiet" naruto says, his eyes never leaving musou.

"Impressive that you were able to pick up on my Sword of Silence" musou says, his voice carrying a hint of admiration. He runs his hand along his blade and it begins to glow with a soft blue chakra. Naruto pulls off his broken mask as it turns into crystalline dust and slips into a stance with his katana curved towards his back on the right. Musou shoots forwards without warning into a spin as his sword comes down in a burst of chakra as naruto blocks, disturbing the air around them with the chakra. Their swords slide against each other, small sparks flying as they engage in another furious rush of strikes. The sound of metal on metal ring out across the battlefield, punctuated by the occasional grunt of exertion from both fighters. Zhao staggers to his feet and sees his men are all dead from the explosive fire but musou has yet to kill naruto and seems to be enjoying this fight.

"H-how dare he.. He has to kill Vortex Heart to restore my Master's honor" zhao thought, with rage bubbling to the surface. Musou backpedals with a skid as naruto stares back at him, "Interesting.. Is he learning to overcome my Sword of Silence by simply observing" musou thought, reassessing his blond opponent. Naruto rushes forward and adds wind elemancy to his sword as he slices through the ground to musou's shock but he adds more chakra to his sword. Naruto swings a heavy strike and it sends musou flying back with a skid as naruto shoots forward with a stinger and musou raises his sword with chakra bursting from it. However zhao gets their path as time slows, "How dare you enjoy this!" zhao shouts, spittle shooting from his mouth. Neither stop their attacks as musou slices off zhao's left arm and naruto cuts open zhao's right side, causing the man to scream in agony at the missing arm as he lays on the ground.

"It seems our fight has been ruined" musou says with his tone tinged by disappointment, while sheathing his sword and naruto rests his katana on his right shoulder.

"It would see so" naruto says, looking down at the screaming zhao. The man's screams have devolved into pained whimpers, his remaining hand clutching desperately at the stump of his severed arm.

"Luckily he paid upfront... We will meet again Vortex Heart" musou says, vanishing shunshin with no sound.

"I will make you pay for my Master's Honor" zhao hisses through gritted teeth, his face contorted in a mix of pain and rage. He struggles to push himself up with his remaining arm, blood seeping through his fingers. Naruto sends the katana of the warrior away and brings out a sawed-off double barrel shotgun, "Your Master's honor was irreparable the moment he decided to try and kill Prince Ieyasu" he says coldly, pointing the shotgun at zhao.

"How dare you.. I'll make you swallow those words" zhao hisses, a mix of fear and defiance flashing across them.

"Swallow this" naruto says, his voice devoid of emotion. The night air is shattered by the thunderous report of the shotgun. Zhao's head explodes in a gruesome spray of blood and bone, his body collapsing lifelessly to the ground. The echo of the shot fades, leaving an eerie silence in its wake. Naruto sighs and creates some clones to deal with zhao and his mens' bodies, "Musou.. I do hope we meet again" he thought, grabbing his frock coat and going up the hill. The night wind rustles through his hair, carrying with it the faint smell of smoke and blood. [song ends]

Naruto slips his coat on as bren is sitting on the wind screen of his bike, "An interesting opponent" she says, her eyes glinting in the moonlight.

"Yeah.. Able to move without sound in plain sight is very interesting" naruto says, hopping on his bike as bren dispels. He starts his bike and rides off into the night to make his way back to konoha, reaching the village the main gates were opened at sunrise and using the stealth spell to slip inside. He reaches his place as konan and kaguya were waking up, before reinforcing the clone he left and getting some rest.

"Hopefully nothing too bad happens" kaguya says, kissing naruto's forehead as he's already asleep.

"It should be fine" konan adds, as they get ready to meet yugao at the mission hall. The two plus clone leave the house and make their way to the mission hall, meeting yugao along the way.

"Morning you three" yugao says with a small smile and the three greet her. Hiruzen and iruka were manning the desk as a few others were posting d-ranks on the board or handing the pair c-rank and above to them.

"Morning Sandaime-sama" yugao greets and hiruzen gives his grandfatherly smile number 32 with his pipe in his mouth.

"Good Morning Team-11.. Another C-rank" hiruzen asks and yugao nods, looking over the desk but suddenly minato appears with a yellow flash.

"Minato.. What brings you here so early" hiruzen said, surprise evident in his voice.

"This is fortuitous timing.. I have a special mission for your Team Yugao.. It comes from the Capital" minato says with a hint of urgency and the room becomes a little tense.

"What sort of mission Hokage-sama" yugao asks, her voice steady despite the sudden shift in mood.

"Kirigakure has contact the Capital to enter the Land of Rivers.. Which is our ally.. The Daimyo and his Heir decided to allow them passage but they would need a Konoha team.. I decided to send yours.. This will be a B-rank mission due to the Missing-nin involved" minato explains, pausing for a moment and looks over the four but his eyes were on naruto's clone.

"Should this mission go Well.. Kirigakure may entertain a possible alliance between our countries" minato adds, his voice taking on a more diplomatic tone.

"We won't fail Hokage-sama" yugao says with determination and minato nods, before vanishing with a yellow-flash as yugao turns to her team.

"Pack for at least two weeks and meet me at the main gate in one hour" yugao instructs and the three nod, before excusing themselves to head back home and inform the real naruto.

"Naruto won't be happy" kaguya says, as they take to the roofs to head home.

"The Boss will deal with it" the clone says with a wry smile and pops. The pair soon reach home and naruto is already up and getting ready, "Well I can be prepared" naruto says, nonchalantly and sealing things into scrolls.

"What do you mean.. You knew this would happen" kaguya says, a hint of confusion in her voice but naruto shakes his head.

"No.. It was just last night someone from the Black market told me Kirigakure is looking for their lost swords" naruto says and sighs, "I made a promise to Juzo and Kiri won't get it back.. Unless they pay out the ass" he adds, his voice carrying a mix of determination and slight amusement. He heads upstairs to put on his clothes of a black and white hybrid hakama-ninja pants, a long-sleeve black shirt with skull graphics and a hooded jacket with no sleeves.

"Let's get going" naruto says, slipping on some white gloves with blue palms. The three leave their house and make their way towards the main gate but stop at thunder burger for naruto to get five patty melts. They reach the main about five minutes before the allotted time as naruto devours his patty melts, soon yugao arrives and the four take off toward the border of fire country and river country.

"Do we know who the Kiri team is" naruto asks, his voice carrying a hint of curiosity and underlying concern.

"I don't but be respectful" yugao says with her tone measured and the three nod as they pick up their speed.

Mei Terumi was not in the best mood as she led her team through the dense forests bordering the land of rivers. She was sent by her lover the Godaime Mizukage Yuri Zahard to find Raiga Kurosuki, kill him and bring the Kiba-Blades in his possession but she had to bring along his team. Haku Yuki, Zabuza Momochi and Buntan Kurosuki are a very skilled team and will do well in the coming chunin exams, one of them has Kekkei Genkai but two of them were very skilled with the sword.

"Do we really have to work with a Konoha Team.. We can kill my scumbag brother ourselves" buntan says, her tone laced with frustration and a hint of bloodlust. She has short and straight comb-backed blonde hair, blue eyes with a beauty-mark above the right of her upper-lip, and sharp teeth. She wears a red, pinstripe and sleeveless dress with a short skirt and leggings of the same design. She also dons a long-sleeve black jinbaori war coat having a tan lining and grey hemming with long wrist wraps.

"We're passing through Fire Country.. Of course we'd have to work with a team from Konoha" zabuza says, his tone gruff and adds to his intimidating aura. He is a tall and muscular young man with light grayish skin, short spiky black hair, dark brown eyes, and small eyebrows with bandages like a mask over the bottom half of his face. He wears a sleeveless black shirt and matching pants, complete with a waist-guard and mimetic wrist-warmers extending up to his elbows with matching leg-warmers.

"Do we know who Konoha will send Mei-sama" haku says, their voice carrying a hint of curiosity. They have long black hair, pale skin and large, dark-brown eyes, and a slender frame with their hair gathered in a white bun holder, while two locks loosely framing their face, bound with metal hair cuffs at the ends. Haku wears the standard pin-stripe outfit of kirigakure with a green haori having white trimmings, and around their waist is a brown sash with a fringed trail wrapped around their waist twice. They also wear light-brown platoon sandals with straps in the same color as their kimono and nail polish on their fingernails and toenails in matching blue-green color.

"No but Try to be respectful.. Especially you Zabuza.. We'll meet at the border town of Hoppou" mei says, shooting a pointed look to her tall genin. She is tall having a slender frame with green eyes and shoulder length auburn hair styled into a herringbone pattern at the back, a top-knot tied with a dark blue band and some of her hair covering her right eye. She wears a dark blue battle dress with the detached sleeves and neckline but linked by mesh, a black obi around her waist. The dress has slits to her waist and she wears dark blue shorts underneath with mesh leggings and kunoichi boots having shin-guards. Zabuza grunts in response and adjusting the sword on his back, "As long as they don't slow us down" he mutters under his breath.

"I still say we don't need them.. This is Kiri business not Konoha's" buntan says with a roll of her eyes, her hand resting on the hilt of her own sword.

"It's not about need Buntan.. It's about maintaining good relations with a possible ally. Besides.. Having backup isn't a bad thing when dealing with someone like Raiga" mei explains patiently.

"Mei-sama is right.. We should focus on the mission rather than who we're working with" haku says, nodding in agreement. The group falls into silence once again and continue on to reach hoppou as the dense forest gradually thin out, giving way to rolling hills and scattered farmlands. After two days of travel do they finally arrive at their destination. Hoppou is a modest town nestled along the banks of a wide river that serve as the natural border between the land of fire and the land of rivers. The streets were bustling with activity, filled with merchants hawking their wares and locals going about their daily routines.

"Where do you we meet the Konoha Team" buntan asks, her voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and lingering reluctance. Mei pauses with her green eyes surveying the area, "There's a Fountain with the statue of a fish.. I'll head there while you three head through town.. We'll meet at the statue in a hour.. If you happen to come across a Konoha Ninja.. The codeword is Shark" she says and the three nod, splitting off from her. Zabuza splits off from haku and buntan as he couldn't help but notice the wary glances cast his way by the townspeople. A smirk plays across his lips beneath his bandages and is amused by their fear.

"What the fuck?!" zabuza thought, seeing a blond at one of the stalls. He is ordering a lot of food but doesn't look fat at all as zabuza continues on, however he stops and looks back to a konoha hitai-ate hanging from the belt loop of his pants.

"Could it be" zabuza thought and approaches the blond, "Hey.. Are you from Konoha and do you prefer Shark" he adds, his voice gruff. The blond swallows the meat bun in his hand, "Yes I do prefer Shark.. I take it you are one of our contracts.. Name's Naruto Nox Fleuret" he says, extending his hand.

"I am.. My name is Zabuza Momochi... Where's the rest of your team" zabuza says, shaking naruto's hand firmly after looking at it for a moment.

"Sensei went to the Fish statue and the others are getting some supplies" naruto says, his blue eyes taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling marketplace.

"So Konoha sends some pretty boy like yourself on such a mission" zabuza says, a hint of skepticism in his voice as they started heading towards the statue of the fish. Naruto stuffs another meat bun into his mouth as his cheeks bulge with a chuckle, "I'm Pretty Deadly" he says, his tone playful but with an undercurrent of confidence. Zabuza scoffs and is clearly unconvinced, "We'll see about that" he mutters under his breath. They find the statue in question with a fish in the middle of a fountain with water coming from its open mouth.

"Now that we're all here.. I am Yugao Uzuki and these are my teammates Naruto Nox Fleuret.. Kaguya Otsuki and Konan Atsuko" yugao says, her voice calm and authoritative. Mei nods in acknowledgment before introducing her own team, "I'm Mei Terumi.. These are my Genin.. Buntan Kurosuki.. Haku Yuki and Zabuza Momochi" he says, her voice smooth and confident.

"So according to the mission parameters.. We're working together to deal with a Missing-nin" yugao says with her tone businesslike and zabuza scoffs a little.

"You're our back up and means to head to the Land of Rivers" zabuza comments with a hint of disdain, as naruto stuffs another meat bun into his mouth.

"That is your choice but we need to know what we're going into" yugao says firmly and her face serious. Mei nods with her green eyes scanning the area before settling back on the group, "Let's head out and I'll explain along the way" mei says and yugao slowly nods in agreement. The two teams leave the town of hoppou and cross over the border into river country. The landscape gradually changed from the bustling town to lush forests and winding rivers. The sound of rushing water accompanied their journey, providing a soothing backdrop to their conversation.

"The Godaime wants to find the missing Seven Swords of Kiri... One so happens to be in the Land of Rivers or namely the Katabami Gold Mine" mei starts, her voice carrying easily over the sound of their footsteps.

"The Missing-nin" konan asks, her amber eyes curious.

"Is my brother Raiga.. Who betrayed Kirigakure" buntan comments, her voice filled with bitterness as they run along side a river and the water's surface glittering in the sunlight.

"As Buntan says.. Raiga has the Kiba-Blades and Lady Yuri wants them back" mei adds, her tone leaving no room for argument.

"Too bad they don't know you have the Kubikiribocho" veldora comments, his voice tinged with amusement.

"True and I don't use it too much.. Unless I know there won't be survivors to tell someone" naruto thought, his face neutral and not wanting to draw attention to his internal dialogue.

"Why is Raiga in the Katabami mining town" kaguya says, her soft voice carrying a hint of curiosity.

"We don't really know" zabuza says with a shrug, his bandaged face betraying no emotion. The two teams travel for two hours but naruto notices zabuza is giving kaguya the side-eye and studying her. They reach a inn not far from the mining town, the inn is about two stories and has an attached curry shop called the Curry of Life.

"We'll stay here and scout the town tomorrow.. Is that good enough Mei" yugao says, her tone professional but open to discussion as mei tucks a stray hair behind her ear and nods her head. The two teams check-in into the inn for a few days and head to try the curry of life, meeting the owner named Sanshō and her grandson Karashi. The pair soon bring the curry but each of them notice the off color of the grandmother's curry as karashi gives a sorry look. Each of them stare at the curry and each other to see who would try the curry first, that person being yugao as she slips a spoonful into her mouth. Several moments pass but all of them except one gasp as her face turns blue, purple, red, green and finally a small puff of smoke comes out her mouth as she falls back unconscious.

"Sensei?!" kaguya says, moving to check on her sensei.

"Not happening" zabuza says firmly, pushing his plate away with a look of disgust. The others nod in agreement while eyeing their own plates warily but zabuza's dark eyes fall on naruto, who is casually spooning the fiery curry into his mouth without so much as a flinch.

"Seriously?!" zabuza says, his voice a mix of disbelief and grudging respect. Naruto lets out a burp and a small puff of smoke escapes his lips, "It's not so bad" he says but his voice is a little hoarse from the spices. Mei shakes her head with an amused smile but her face takes a serious tone, "Can I talk to the three of you.. Privately" she says, her green eyes scanning the three konoha genin. Naruto narrows his eyes and downs a pitcher of water but creates a clone to take yugao back to their room, "Let's not talk here.. Who know who could be listening" he says, his voice low but cautious. Team-mei and team-11 leave the inn and make their way away from the inn, finding a place in the forest and they could hear the rush of water from one of the many rivers.

"So what did you want to talk about" naruto asks, standing with konan and kaguya to his left and right. Mei tucks a stray hair behind her ear and her green shift to kaguya but then to naruto, "I'll just come out and say it.. Are you three apart of the Vortex Royals" mei says, her voice steady despite the tension in the air. Naruto tilts his head as a little tension starts to fill the clearing and his expression neutral. The question hangs in the air and heavy with implication. The clearing seems to grow quieter, the sound of the river fades into the background as everyone waits for his response.

"What gave you the indication" naruto asks, his voice calm but carrying a hint of curiosity. His blue eyes never leave mei's face, searching for any clue as to how she has come to this conclusion. Konan and kaguya remain silent beside him but their postures subtly shift. Konan's fingers twitch and is ready to form paper at a moment's notice, while kaguya's pale eyes scan the area with her ears twitching, alert for any potential threats. Zabuza and buntan's hands instinctively move to the hilt of their swords, while haku exchanges wary glance between both sides. The atmosphere in the clearing is electric, charged with unspoken tension and the potential for conflict but haku breaks it like a gentle breeze.

"The Vortex Royals are a small group of bounty hunters known in each of the major nations but also you were in the last Princess Gale movie" haku explains, their eyes moving to the konoha but there is a hint of admiration in their tone.

"One of their members is a Rabbit Demihuman" zabuza adds and naruto shifts his eyes to kaguya.

"So because Kaguya is a Rabbit Demihuman.. You assume she's a member of the Vortex Royals.. You got to have more than that" naruto says, shaking his head slightly.

"Why are you searching for the Vortex Royals" konan asks, her voice calm but carrying an undercurrent of suspicion.

"Chasing a rumor... About Three years ago or a little more.. Juzo Biwa was in the Port City of Nami.. He was working for some scum named Gato.. However the people we talked to said Vortex Heart dealt with Juzo and took his sword... The Kubikiribocho" mei says, her green eyes meeting konan's gaze steadily.

"They also said a Rabbit Demihuman and a redhead were with him" buntan says, her eyes gleaming with the prospect of recovering one of kiri's legendary swords.

"So you're looking for Vortex Heart to get back the Kubikiribocho" naruto says, his tone more of a statement than a question.

"It belongs to Kirigakure and the Godaime wants it back" zabuza says firmly, his voice leaving no room for argument. Naruto sighs and shifts his eyes to his fellow royals, "Well your evidence on finding the Kubikiribocho is a bit circumstantial at best" he says but his face shifts to an eye-smile, "And it brought you where you need to go" he adds, raising his right hand and bringing out the kubikiribocho. The legendary blade gleams in the dappled sunlight filtering through the trees, its edge as sharp as the day it was forged. Zabuza's eyes widen behind his bandages, a mix of awe and envy crossing his features. Buntan lets out a small gasp, her fingers itching to grasp the hilt of the famous sword.

"However you Won't be getting it back" naruto says, slamming the large blade into the ground with a thud. Mei's green eyes narrow dangerously and the air around her begins to shimmer with heat as she releases her killing intent. Birds in nearby trees take flight after being startled by the sudden spike of energy, "Why's that Cutie?!" she asks, her voice sweet but laced with venom.

"I fought Juzo in Nami.. However our fight was interrupted by Gato as he shot him in the Back!.. With his dying breath.. He asked me to burn him and Never let Kirigakure have his sword" naruto says, his voice steady and his blue eyes hardening. The clearing falls silent as the weight of naruto's words sink in but buntan is the first to break the silence, "You would risk war with Kirigakure for the wishes of the dead" she says, her voice incredulous but naruto smirks.

"Kirigakure wouldn't risk war.. Especially coming out of a Civil War... Plus I have Powerful friends and not in Konoha or Fire Country.. I'm talking down South" naruto says matter-of-factly. Mei's eyes widen slightly and a flicker of recognition crosses her face, "You have powerful friends in Niflheim" she says, her voice a mix of surprise but also respect and naruto nods.

"I promised Juzo to keep this sword out of Kiri's hands... However I understand the importance of the Seven Swords to Kirigakure.. So how about this.. I give you a weapon or weapons for the Kubikiribocho" naruto says, his expression softening slightly. The proposal hang in the air and heavy with possibility but zabuza is the first to react, his dark eyes narrowing as he assesses naruto.

"You've got some balls.. Show me the weapons and we'll test them.. They suffice and maybe Mei-senpai can convince her girlfriend the Godaime to accept them in place of the Kubikiribocho" zabuza says, a note of grudging respect in his gruff voice. Mei shoots zabuza a murderous look at his casual mention of her relationship but her curiosity about the potential weapons override her irritation. Naruto uses his armiger to bring out two swords, "This is the Black March and Green April.. They are pretty powerful weapons.. I them found in a dungeon down south.. You channel energy into them and they come alive" he says, his voice taking on a hint of pride. The black march has a jet-black blade, similar to a chokuto with a thick handle having black march in cursive on said handle.

"When ignited.. It enhance Speed.. Damage and Piercing power" naruto explains, his blue eyes glinting with excitement. The green april is a hook like sword in a green color, "When Green April is ignited.. The blade can extend like a whip" naruto says, before tossing both swords to mei. The kiri kunoichi catches them deftly, her green eyes widening as she feels the weight and balance of the weapons.

"Alright.. We'll see" mei says, handing the black march to zabuza and the green april to buntan. The four kiri ninja return to the inn as naruto dispels the kubikiribocho, "Are you sure you want to give up the Green April and Black March" konan says, her amber eyes searching his face.

"It'll be fine.. Once they use them.. They'll forget about the Kubikiribocho... Plus Kiri and Water Country won't risk going to war with Konoha.. Fire Country and Niflheim" naruto says, as they return to the inn to check on yugao. The next day is a little tense between the teams but they set out for the katabami mining town as clouds were in the sky for an impending storm. Yugao and mei would split them up to have them check out the mine, town but also the missing-nin.

"Are you a guy or a girl" naruto asks haku, as they are making their way to the mine.

"I'm Trans.. Born a boy but identify as a girl" haku says softly, a hint of surprise in their brown eyes.

"That's cool.. I've met a few Trans people in Niflheim.. One is a friend of my uncle" naruto says and haku quirks an eyebrow, "Their name is Desire and run a Brothel in Insomnia to fulfill people's desire" he adds and haku mouths oh, a small smile gracing their lips. The pair soon reach the path leading down to the mine itself but naruto holds his hand out, before activating his stealth spell on them both.

"Let's watch from here.. No one will see us" naruto says, unsealing a blanket and placing it down.

"How" haku asks with their brow furrowed, as naruto unseals a pair of binoculars and hands them to haku. He then brings out a cerberus like rifle to haku's shock, "Right now we're hidden away by Magic and this will allow us to keep our distance in case the Raiga is down there" naruto says, laying on his stomach to look through the sights on his rifle.

"You are most strange Vortex Heart" haku says softly and naruto chuckles.

"Please keep that to yourself and pass this own to your teammates.. Konoha doesn't know I am Vortex Heart" naruto says, his expression growing serious.

"I see.. I will tell Mei-sama and the others" haku says, nodding solemnly. The pair start to observe the mine below and haku sees the people working almost like zombies but also a graveyard with a procession speaking over freshly dug grave.

"Someone must have died" naruto comments, his voice somber. The procession soon leave as the communication device around his neck crackles to life, "Naruto.. There's a person still alive in that grave" kaguya relays and their eyes widen as naruto springs to his feet, creating a clone in the process.

"He'll keep you hidden.. Keep watch and direct him on hard targets" naruto says, gesturing to his clone.

"Hard Targets" haku says, their brow furrowing slightly.

"Enemies" naruto says, rushing to the edge and leaping but using his collection to make his way down.

"Why would they bury someone alive" veldora says, his tone a mixture of curiosity and disgust.

"Who knows" naruto says, soon reaching the ground. He rushes to the grave and use a spell to blow the dirt away as he sees a makeshift coffin with crying echoing out. He drops into the hole and pries open the coffin to find a little girl of about six or seven with dark brown hair and matching fear-filled eyes.

"It's ok" naruto says and lifts her up, "Who did this to you" he asks, his tone careful not to frighten her further. The girl sniffles with her face buried in his shoulder, "I wasn't a bad girl.. Raiga-sama didn't understand.. I wanted to see Daddy" she whispers, her voice barely audible. Naruto clenches his right hand and shifts the little girl, "You're not a bad girl" he says with his tone firm but kind, before leaping out the hole and comes face to face a group of about six as all of them are wearing blank mantles.

"Looks like another wants to have a Glorious Funeral with Raiga-sama" one says, their voice dripping with malice and the others chuckle. Naruto's eyes narrow as his body tenses while he assesses the situation. He could feel the little girl trembling in his arms and he tightens his hold on her reassuringly.

"I don't know what kind of sick game you're playing.. But using children for your 'Glorious Funerals' ends now" naruto said, his voice low and dangerous. Naruto schools a blank look as he brings out vortex gaze with his right hand and points the sword at them, "Perhaps we have your funeral" he says, his threat clear as day.

"Hmph.. You don't look so tough.. One of you go get Tessai" one of the group says and one breaks off from the group.

"Don't worry Little one.. I will protect you.. Just close your eyes and don't open them" naruto says and the little girl holds him tighter. The men chuckle darkly but suddenly one's head explodes with a pink mist to their shock but naruto shoots forward, slicing another chest with his sword and bringing a shield to block another. A second one's head explodes with a pink mist as his wind elemancy makes his sword sharper and longer, slicing through the men.

"On your right" veldora says in the blond's mind. Naruto sees a wave of rock spikes and he brings out a bigger shield but the rock spikes move around them, before he creates a clone and tosses the girl to him as the rock rises.

"Onii-chan!" the girl shouts, her eyes wide with fear. Naruto dispels his shield but a hand emerges to grab the blond by the throat to yank him forward into a heavy punch, sending him crashing through the spikes with two hops. He sits up with his shoulder and blood runs down the side of his mouth, "That broke a rib or two and it's pushing on your lung" veldora says with concern, as naruto wheezes.

"So you're one of the rats coming to take Raiga's head huh" the hulking man says, opposite naruto. He stands a good six and a half feet tall with rock like skin and sideburns having no beard. He wears a lime green hakama with black boots, his tan kosode hanging from his waist, in his hand on weapon as tall as him. It is double bladed weapon with black wrapping around the center.

"S-so you must be Tessai" naruto says, struggling to his feet with a few wheezes as veldora heals him. Tessai stand motionless as two shots ricochet off his body but naruto silently clucks his tongue, "Looks we need something harder.. I'll stall" naruto whispers into his neck device.

"Hahahaha.. Was that your doing.. Ha.. My skin is as hard five-fold steel" tessai says, driving his blade into the ground and shunshins forward. Naruto jerks as he is speared but the blond gets his arms up as tessai pummels him, "I crush you with my bare hands!" tessai shouts, his voice echoing across the clearing. Naruto uses kawarimi with the metal coffin and sends a weighted dropkick to send tessai skidding along the ground. The stone man creates a spear of rock and hurls it at naruto to hit him in the stomach towards his left side, causing the blond to stagger back with a grunt of pain but he pulls it out and tosses it aside. Tessai hurls another one but naruto sidesteps it and rushes with a flurry of strikes coated in veldora's chakra, making them harden with the scales hidden under his gloves.

"Not bad Kid" tessai says, leaping to land on naruto but blond connects with a rising uppercut to send tessai on to his back. Tessai tries to kick at naruto's legs but the blond leaps to avoid and tessai kips up to kick naruto in the face, knocking the blond down and allowing tessai to grab his throat.

"I'll choke the life out of you.. Then I'll find that little girl and have my way with her" tessai shouts, his grip tightening. Naruto channels more of veldora's chakra and his nails rip through his gloves into claws to tessai shock as naruto pushes him up, forcing the larger man off of him. Tessai suddenly screams as something enters his right eye, which causes him to stagger up and rush towards his weapon but he also notes his stone body is starting to crack. Naruto watches with his breath coming in short gasps as tessai's movements become jerky and uncoordinated.

"What have you done to me?!" tessai shouts, his voice a mixture of rage and fear as he finally grasps his weapon.

"The bullet was condensed Biju chakra and it is highly corrosive" naruto says, shifting to a Battojutsu stance without a sword, his body coiled like a spring ready to release. Tessai roars and hurls his weapon forward like boomerang as naruto rushes forward to bring out the katana of the warrior, slashing open tessai's chest with a spray of blood but ducks under tessai's weapon as it crashes into his forehead. The weapon slams into the ground and cuts tessai's head more as he slides down, while naruto falls on his butt to catch his breath and heal the wound to his side.

"That didn't seem like the use of Doton" veldora says, curiosity evident in his tone. Naruto stares at tessai's corpse and it now back to normal, "Some advanced skill maybe" he thought, his mind racing as he considered the implications.

"Onii-chan.. Naruto" two voices shout and naruto sees haku with the little girl. Haku surveys the area and sees the injuries to naruto, "Your clones explained things" they say, concern evident in their voice. Naruto gets to his feet with the little girl clinging to him, "We should head to the mine itself and find this one's father.. Though what's your name.. I'm Naruto and this is Haku" he says, looking down at the child.

"F-flora" the little girl says, after hesitating for a moment.

"Well Flora-chan.. Let's find your father and help him" haku says and flora slowly nods. The three make their way from the graveyard towards the mine and don't encounter much in terms opposition but hide themselves as a man approaches. However the man's mouth is sown shut and flora recognizes him, "Daddy" flora shouts, breaking free and rushing towards him.

"Flora wait" naruto shouts, alarm evident in his voice.

"Daddy you're ok.. I was a Good girl but Raiga-sama didn't understand" flora says and continues to babble with her words tumbling out as she hugs his leg. Naruto and haku cautiously make their way towards flora and her dad but loud laughter echoes around them.

"Naruto-kun Look" haku says, pointing upwards. Naruto looks up the rockface to see a woman with dark hair and sporting a large scar in the right side of her face and left side of chest, which also looks stitched. She wears red and pink garbs, a long red cloak with feathers and large sandogasa hat.

"Hahahaha.. You've fallen into my trap.. I Zakuro will kill you all" the woman shouts with voice dripping in malice, before tossing her hat aside and holding up a ram-sign. Flora is still clinging to her father's leg and looks up at him in confusion. The man is struggling, while trying to reach for his daughter but only muffled sounds escape his sewn lips.

"Daddy... What's wrong?!" flora asks, her voice small and frightened. Flora's father explodes in a violent burst of energy before anyone could react. The blast engulfs both father and daughter, their forms disappearing in a cloud of dust and debris. Zakuro laughs loudly as naruto and haku stare in horror, "What a stupid little girl Hahahahaha" zakuro shouts, her voice filled with cruel glee. Naruto clenches his left fist with his face hidden by shadows as zakuro continuously laughs.

"Now it's your turn" zakuro sneers with malicious intent but naruto vanishes, before her jaw is cracked by a right hook from our blond hero. Zakuro crashes along the rocky ground as naruto stands a few feet from her, "She was an innocent child and you killed by using her father as some bomb" he hisses, his voice low and dangerous. Zakuro staggers to her feet and clutches her broken jaw, "The weak Don't get choose how they die" she shouts but screams, as her body starts to freeze. Ice creeps up zakuro's legs, while spreading rapidly across her torso and arms. Haku stands with their hands outstretched as their eyes are cold and focused, "And the cruel don't get to decide who's weak" they said softly, their usually gentle voice hard with resolve. Naruto brings out his double-barrel shotgun as haku moves way and shatters zakuro with both barrels.

"You're right about one thing Zakuro.. The weak don't get to choose how they die.. But neither do the wicked" naruto said, his voice barely above a whisper.

"It's not your fault Kid.. Some people are That Cruel" veldora says but naruto says nothing.

Haku approaches cautiously and places a comforting hand on naruto's shoulder, "We should... We should go back" haku suggests softly, their eyes filled with a mix of sorrow and concern. Naruto nods silently and the pair make their way back down to where flora and her father had been. The area is scorched with small fires still flickering here and there but as they search, a heavy feeling settled in their chests that there is nothing left, not even ashes.

"The World can be so cruel" haku whispers, their voice catching softly. Naruto's gaze sweeps over the desolate scene one last time before meeting haku's eyes, "You're right" he whispers back, his voice rough with emotion.
