Author's Note: Hey everyone, I'm back with a whole new different one shot! So for this one, I actually started working on this back 6 years ago, but then I fell off from before I added on the Christmas party scene. Ever since I've gotten back into writing, I've noticed this piece a month ago and I figured I should finish what I started. I meant to post this back on Christmas, but I was just having a ball on my hiatus that I was just taking my precious me time a little too much. But that stops now and I apologize for posting this late, but better late than never as they say. If you're still feeling the Christmas spirit, then this is the story for you! Enjoy the read, hopefully you'll get some laughs out of this and I hope you had a very good holidays. One more thing, this story takes place between Enter: The Prince of Hearts and Enter: True Believers in case you were wondering since Quincy is involved in this story.
Snow was falling, weather is freezing cold and the ground was so white, you can't see any grass. The students of Auradon were excited about this weather during December because it was almost time for Christmas. Yes, the most wonderful time of the year is here. The time where decorations were put up like wreaths with red bows, Christmas lights hanging over walls, banners taped on walls as well, and a big Christmas tree was put up at the Courtyard. The students were laughing, spreading joy and wonder and even having hot cocoa in the student lounge. It is indeed wonderful for everyone to celebrate Christmas and everyone was so happy, well almost everyone.
Some kids who were not from Auradon were confused as to why everyone's more cheery than usual. Those kids were from the Isle of the Lost, six kids to be exact. And their names are Mal, Jay, Evie, Carlos, Freddie and Quincy. Their parents were of the most evilest people in the world, with Maleficent being the top villain. They never really celebrated Christmas, heck they don't even know what Christmas is. To them, all they seen is red, green and some white all over the campus.
They don't know what they're supposed to do, so far, they seen students dress in weird ugly sweaters, some with fake red noses and they hear music playing these lyrics they never heard of before. They all all outside walking on snow, something they never experience and takes in their surroundings. They see leafy stuff decorated at the front of the school like wreaths around the Beast statue, Christmas lights at the bushes and snowmen close to the doors.
Mal was dressed in a purple leather coat with a lavender scarf tucked inside, a purple beanie, magenta skinny jeans and black snow boots. Evie was rocking red earmuffs, a royal blue pea wool double breasted coat with red apple button from top to bottom, red fitted pants and navy black boots from the calves down. Carlos is wearing black turtleneck sweater with a white coat with black polka dots on it, the hood has black fur around the opening, red beanie, white jeans and black boots. Jay's wearing a yellow coat with red sleeves and blue wrist, a dark red beanie, dark blue jeans and brown boots. Freddie's winter outfit includes a scarlet coat, a purple scarf wrapped with both ends hanging around her chest, a plum beanie with a hot pink feather, dark pink pants and scarlet boots from calves down. Quincy was sporting a red wool coat with front gold pockets, a black right handed glove with a red heart, a whites left handed glove also with a red heart, a golden beanie, black fitted jeans and white boots with black soles.
"I'm not getting this." Jay said.
"You think I do? I'm as confused as you are." Freddie said.
"Maybe everyone's under a spell?" Carlos said.
"If they are, this has to be the most awful spell in the world, everyone's so more freakishly happier than usual." Quincy said.
"You getting anything from this, Mal?" Evie asked her best friend.
"I would know if anyone's under a spell and unfortunately, they're not." Mal said.
"Then why's everyone doing this?" Quincy said.
"Another celebration?" Carlos guessed.
"But for what?" Evie said.
"Hey Mal, Guys." Lonnie said walking up to them. "Merry Christmas!"
They all look at her confused at the last two words she said.
"Christ-what?" Jay asked.
"Who's Merry?" Quincy said.
"You know, Christmas, the holiday celebration at December?" Lonnie said.
"We don't know what that is." Mal said.
Lonnie gasped.
"You guys don't celebrate Christmas?" Lonnie said shocked.
"What is that?" Jay asked.
"You poor things." Lonnie said. "The Isle doesn't celebrate the time to be with friends, family and the people who love you?"
"No wonder we never heard of it." Quincy said.
"Yeah Lonnie, love isn't exactly the kind of thing we go around celebrating back home." Mal said.
"Oh, sorry, I forgot, no love on the island of villains." Lonnie said.
"The only thing I remember was the cold nights I have to spend sleeping under a shelf." Jay said.
"Wow, I didn't realize." Lonnie said sadly.
"It's cool, literally, it was a really cool feeling all night." Jay said.
"Well, that changes this year, cause I'm gonna show you guys what Christmas is all about." Lonnie said confidently.
"Is it really that great?" Quincy asked.
"You bet it is. Come on." Lonnie said leading the VKs.
"So what's the deal with this…Christmas stuff?" Jays asked.
"Christmas is the one time every year where people celebrates their time together with family and friends like I said before. They gather around for a big party where they have out food, they sing Christmas songs and then there's the presents." Lonnie said.
"Presents?" The VKs said.
"Yeah, we give each other gifts as a thank you for being in each other's lives. And we put up decorations together, sit by the fireplace and enjoy some hot cocoa and cookies. We even do fun stuff like building snowmen and snowball fights." Lonnie explains.
"Snowball fights? This sounds interesting already." Quincy smiles.
"Hehehe, it is, snowball fights are always fun." Lonnie said.
"How you do it?" Quincy said.
"First, you pick up a clump of snow in your hand." Lonnie does as she explains. "Then you roll it into a ball with both hands and you throw it at someone."
Lonnie aims and throws the snowball at Jay's face. Everyone laughs at the snow covered Jay, who wipes his face off.
"And that's how you it." Lonnie grins.
"Oh yeah? Let me if I get this right." Jay does as he saw Lonnie do.
Lonnie begins to run and laughs while Jay tries to chase her and the VKs were still laughing at them.
Inside the school
Lonnie leads the VKs through the hallway.
"During Christmas Eve which is on the 24th and it's today, we always do a party and help set it up to get into the Christmas spirit." Lonnie said.
"I do love parties." Evie said.
"You're gonna love this even more!" Lonnie said as she leads them to the Throne Room.
She opens the doors and while she smiles at the scene, the VKs were shocked. Red and Green streamers hanging on balconies on both sides. Refreshment tables both sides on the ground floor as well with chips, sanwiches, cakes, cookies, pizza, sodas, water, anything you can think of to have for party food. On the throne area stands a Christmas tree, some present displays, and a star on top. There was even more decorations along the walls with candy canes, red and green bows, a snowman prop along with a Santa Claus prop. Reindeers along with an empty sleigh and fake snow on the ground in line with the walls.
"I have never seen this much green and red in all my life." Mal said.
"I sure have, minus the green part back at my house on the isle." Quincy said.
"This is our Christmas Eve party, which we held every year at this school. We play games, exchange gifts, wear ugly sweaters, and even Christmas Caroling." Lonnie said.
"Caroling?" Evie asked.
"Singing songs about Christmas." Lonnie answered. "That's what the microphones are for." She points to them at the top of the stairs.
"Oh, we're not familiar with them unfortunately." Carlos said.
"Hmm, I actually been hearing about this one song throughout the whole month. I thought it was catchy. You think maybe I could give it a try?" Freddie asked.
"Of course! The more Carolers, the better! I'll go tell Ben right now!" Lonnie said before she starts leaving the group. "Go mingle!" She said behind her.
"Well, I think imma check out the dessert bar." Jay said.
"I'll come with." Carlos said.
The boys left the group, leaving Mal, Evie, Freddie and Quincy to decide what to do. Quincy spots one girl blindfolded with a red cotton ball and a needle sticking out of it and she trying to pin it on a picture of a reindeer who doesn't have a nose.
"What's that over there?" Quincy asked, getting the group's attention.
"Pin the red nose on Rudolph." Chad said coming up to them eating popcorn.
"Who's Rudolph?" Freddie asked.
"The black sheep of Santa's Reindeer. He's basically an outcast cause of his red glowing nose." Chad said.
"Just cause of his nose?" Quincy said.
"Exactly. He was never even invited to reindeer games just for that." Chad explained.
"Feel bad for the little guy." Mal said.
"But I heard he became popular cause Santa needed a way to guide through the night while delivering presents." Doug said coming up to them.
"Really? That's cool." Quincy said. "Can never go wrong with red."
"Hmm, I think we can relate to his story in a way." Evie said.
"No doubt about it." Doug said smiling at Evie.
"What's that?" Evie asked about the leaves and white berries on his shirt.
"It's well…a mistletoe." Doug said blushing.
"Dude, she's already your girlfriend, you don't need to pull that stunt." Chad said.
"It's still fun." Doug said.
"I'm confused." Evie said.
"People kiss when they're under a mistletoe. That's how I always score during the holidays." Chad said.
"Oh really?" Evie said smirking at Doug. "Well, I would t wanna break tradition."
"Ew, get a room." Freddie said.
"Gladly." Evie said.
She drags Doug away to somewhere private, making most of the group chuckle while Chad was still eating his popcorn.
"So, imma pin the red nose on Rudolph, want in on this, Quincy?" Chad asked.
"Sure thing, I just hope I don't have accidentally poke someone." Quincy said as he was looking at Freddie, who got the hint.
"I know you didn't." Freddie said.
"What you mean?" Quincy asked in his fake innocent voice.
"You better hope I don't accidentally poke you in the eye. I'm in." Freddie walking over to where the game is at.
"Right behind you!" Quincy said, walking behind her with Chad tailing them.
Mal was now all alone, looking around to see what she could get into. That was until a certain king stood up behind her and she turned to see him.
"What you think?" Ben said holding her.
"It's interesting." Mal said.
"I know you never celebrate Christmas, so I thought we make it extra special this year." Ben said.
"It does feel like everyone's being more cheery than usual." Mal said.
"That's Christmas for you. It's a time where everyone being more giving and feeling joy. And spending time with the people you love, no matter who they are. And you show that appreciation by giving gifts, helping out, even eating Christmas cookies." Ben said.
"I never felt so warm and fuzzy than I've ever been in all my life." Mal said.
"Then that means it's working."
"So who's this Santa Claus I've been hearing about?" Mal asked him.
"How much time you got?"
"Plenty if you're doing the talking."
Ben smiled and he takes Mal's hand to walk them through the crowd so he can better explain everything.
One Hour Later….
Fairy Godmother positions herself to the microphone and taps on it to make sure it works before she speaks.
"Eh hem!" She coughs into it, making everyone pay attention. "Welcome all to our Christmas Eve party!"
Everyone in the audience claps their hands.
"I'm sure you're all having a wonderful time, but now I want to start our Christmas Caroling event. I was just informed that one of our newest students wants to join in on the festivities, so if you please, give a hand to Freddie Facilier singing This Christmas!"
Everyone claps once again. Ben, Lonnie, Ally, Chad, and Jordan in one row. Aziz, Audrey, Jane, Doug and Herkie in another. Lastly, Mal, Evie, Jay, Carlos and Quincy in another. They're all next to each other though in the middle of everyone. Freddie steps up to the microphone, does a little wave, and prepares herself.
"Hey yall. So I never really get Christmas for one reason, heck I'm sure my friends gets what I mean." Freddie said.
They all chuckled.
"But that doesn't mean I won't give it a try!" Freddie said.
Everyone cheers once more.
The music starts up in the background, with an upbeat tone.
"Hang on the mistletoe, I'm gonna get to know you better. This Christmas. And as we trim the tree, how much fun it's gonna be together? This Christmas. Fireside is blazing bright, we're caroling through the night! And this Christmas will be, a very special Christmas for me, yeah. Shake a hand, shake a hand. Woo!"
Everyone was moving and dancing to Freddie's singing and the music, even the VKs are getting into it.
"I'm definitely feeling the Christmas spirit now." Evie said.
"She sure knows how to lift spirits up, on account of her family's background." Quincy said.
"Presents and cards are here, my world is filled with cheer and you. This Christmas. And as I look around, your eyes outshine the town they do. This Christmas. Fireside is blazing bright, we're caroling through the night. And this Christmas will be, a very special Christmas for me, yeah. Shake a hand, shake a hand. Oh ohh."
Suddenly, a strong wind blows through and the snow begins to get heavier. The roads, the yard and even the doors are all snowed in. As Freddie continues to sing, the lights then shut off and the microphone stopped working. Worry and panic started to spread among the students of Auradon Prep.
"What happened?" Carlos said.
Mal looked out the window and saw the snow covering it. "A snowstorm! It must've cause a blackout!" She said.
"Oh Bibiddi!" Fairy Godmother said. "This is not good."
"What do we do?" Ally asked.
"Are we gonna freeze to death?" Audrey panicked.
"Everyone, remain calm." Fairy Godmother said. "I'll investigate the situation. Jane dear, could you gather the firewood and have everyone go to the lobby?"
"Sure, mom." Jane said.
"I'll help." Carlos said to her.
Jane smiled at Carlos' assistance.
"Alright, let's go. Everyone follow us!" Jane said.
"You heard the lady!" Carlos said.
Everyone follows suit while Jane looks out for the firewood in the main area.
Center Lobby.
The area was big enough to fit all the students that came in. Jane picked up the firewood with Carlos helping her out. Carlos begins lighting up the matchstick, but it wouldn't spark.
"Allow me." Jane said.
She holds her hand to the fireplace where she put the firewood in and snaps her fingers. Fire suddenly appeared surround the firewood.
"Amazing, Jane." Carlos said.
"I never meant to show you up, I was just thinking of how cold people will get. I can make it disappear…"
"Jane." Carlos holds her hands. "I'm glad you did it. I was never good with matchsticks anyways. You don't need to lower yourself for me."
At that response, Jane smiles once more just like Carlos is with her. Meanwhile, everyone else was huddled up with warm with the fire to help. Herkie and Ally shared a blanket, as did Evie and Doug. Quincy, Chad, Jordan and Freddie covered themselves under a blanket while on a couch. Ben gives Mal his coat to cover her up while he was sipping his still warm cocoa. Aziz, Lonnie, Audrey and Jay decided to sit by the fire place.
"I hope you don't mind if we're sharing a blanket, Ally." Herkie said blushing.
"Oh, you silly goof. Of course it is. We all have to huddle up our bodies, don't we?" Ally said before realizing how that would sounded.
Herkie blushed even harder than before and that's when Ally noticed then follows suit with her own blushing.
"For warmth, obviously."Ally smiled nervously.
"Yeah, obviously. Was not thinking of anything else." Herkie said with a nervous smile also.
They both looked away, still red in the face but smiled separately. Fairy Godmother came walking in, but not in any smile whatsoever and faces her students.
"Students!" Fairy Godmother said getting everyone's attention. "Unfortunately, I just checked around the area and made some phone calls, well at least the ones I can get through to. The storm hit everywhere, even all the roads. We're officially snowed in."
Everyone groans with disappointment at the news.
"For real? We can't go home?" Aziz asked.
"Unfortunately not." Fairy Godmother said.
"No!" The students except the VKs said.
"But we were going to have our family Christmas dinner tonight at my place." Herkie said.
"You're telling me, our family get-togethers are always chaotic, but that's the best part. My uncle Happy was always the love of the party." Doug said.
"And I'm supposed to be having our annual Christmas tea party right now with my family, even with Ariana of all people." Audrey said muttering the last sentence of her cousin.
"To think we could've been home now if it wasn't for that surprise party." Chad said.
"Surprise party?" Quincy and Freddie asked.
Chad realized what he said and closed his mouth with his hand. "Oops." He muffled.
The rest of the students beamed their eyes on Chad as if he spilled a secret.
"What surprise party?" Mal asked.
"You can't be talking about that Christmas party, are you?" Jay asked.
"Yeah, y'all do that every year, don't you?" Carlos wondered.
"Doug?" Evie asked her boyfriend, who was looking nervous.
Ben sighed as he knew they've been caught. "Mal. There's something you need to know. In fact, all of you deserve to know." He motioned to the other VKs.
"What's going on?" Mal said.
"The truth is, we had this Christmas party for you and your friends." Ben said to Mal.
"What?" Mal said.
"You see, we knew that you couldn't be home for the holidays with your family and since you've never celebrated Christmas before, we came up with the plan to hold a big Christmas party for you guys." Lonnie said.
"We didn't want you guys to be alone on Christmas, so we planned this in secret and made you think we always did this." Jane said.
"We didn't want you to think you're a charity case to us, we just wanted you to have fun and learn what Christmas is all about." Herkie said.
The VKs then looked at each other and soon, they started to look a lil sad.
"So it's our fault then." Jay said.
"What? No." Jordan said.
"You're missing your Christmas because of us." Quincy said.
"I had no idea you went through all this trouble. Ben, you didn't have to do it for us." Mal said.
"But we want to. That's what Christmas is all about. Giving to others and spending time with the people who love you, and Mal…" Ben pulls Mal's hand into his lips and kisses it. "I love you."
Mal couldn't help but smile at his confession. "I love you too." She pulls Ben hand and kisses it as well."
"Well, of course we had to do it, we couldn't let you guys be all gloom and doom while we were celebrating with our families. It wouldn't feel right." Ally said.
"It didn't take much convincing for me to help our new bros out." Herkie said bumping his fist into Quincy's shoulder.
"That hurt, but I appreciate that, Herk!" Quincy said.
"We never wanted you to feel bad, it's the season of joy." Jane said holding Carlos' hand.
"I do feel joyful all of a sudden." Carlos said.
"And it did feel good when I sang that song." Freddie said.
"That Stocking full up game was genius. Racing back and forth with Candy got the o' heart pumping." Jay said.
"Well, I guess I did liked pinning the red nose on Rudolph." Quincy said.
"That was my idea." Chad said.
"Wow Chad, I had no clues you ever have any ideas." Quincy teased.
"I can have ideas, I just don't do it all the time." Chad said.
"I'll take your word for it." Quincy laughed.
They bumped fists and chuckled.
"You see guys? This is what we're trying to show you. Having fun and spending time with the people you care for and making memories you'll remember forever." Ben said.
"I can definitely see it now." Mal said.
"Do you still feel bad now?" Aziz said with a side grin.
The VKs all looked at each other and with knowing grins, they all said, "Nah!"
"Perfect!" Ally said. "Now why don't we all make the best of it and have some s'mores?" She pulls out a bag of marshmallows in white and red.
"Where'd you get those from?" Jordan asked.
"I figured I pack some just in case we get to sit by the fire. I just adore these fluffy things." Ally explained.
They all laughed.
"I can go some s'mores. You do have chocolate bars with those, right?" Carlos asked.
"I'd be ridiculed if I didn't have some." Ally said as she also brought out a bag of chocolate bars.
"And the graham crackers?" Lonnie asked.
Ally brings out graham crackers as requested.
"What don't you have?" Quincy asked then laughed.
And so, the students of Auradon Prep begins having s'mores and chatting amongst themselves. Freddie once again sang another Christmas song that she heard of before and lifted everyone's spirits. They recalled their past Christmases. They even exchanged gifts they bought for one another. For the VKs, being their for this Christmas was enough of a gift for the AKs and Fairy Godmother they could ever give. The VKs' friends still gave them presents despite them not having anything to give back. They fell in love with the gifts as Mal likes her new bracelet from Ben, Evie's new tiara from Doug, Carlos's new black and white plaid shirt from Jane, a new Tourney stock for Jay with his name engraved from Aziz and Herkie and some scented lotion from Audrey, Freddie's gift card from the music store she loves from Lonnie and for Quincy, new hair products and they were from Jordan, Ally and Chad, though really he only got him a Rudolph plush toy he added in.
It was the VKs first Christmas and they enjoyed every single second of it. It was nearly midnight and Fairy Godmother luckily had dozens of sleeping bags for sleeping bags for everyone to sleep in. Every slept around the big Christmas Tree. Also another good thing is Fairy Godmother also happens to have battery powered heaters she can set up around the kids so that every can get equal amount of heating. The VKs sleeps closer to one another in a circle-like formation while everyone else is scattered but their friends are close by.
As everyone around them was fast asleep, the VKs looked at each other and have a quick conversation before going to sleep.
"This is probably one of the weirdest nights ever." Jay said.
"Who would've thought we ended up like this?" Freddie said.
"This is kinda like how I would sleep, except this is how I was punished when my mom would ground me sometimes." Quincy said.
"This is how I always sleep. You guys were lucky to have mattresses." Jay said.
"I sleep in a closet, though luckily I have my mom's fur coats." Carlos said.
"Whatever, this time, it feels good cause now we have people that care about us." Mal said. "The only downside is I wish we knew what Christmas was all about earlier. Maybe then we would've had gifts for our friends to give back to."
"You're so right, M. I wish I could've gotten Doug that guitar game he had his eye on." Evie said.
"I wish I could've gotten that perfume for Audrey, she's been sniffing that stuff whenever I would bump into her at the mall." Jay said.
"Jane's been wanting to replace her cookbook since her last one dropped into the fountain. She uses it whenever she wants to bake her pumpkin cake." Carlos said.
"I could've gotten Chad this tracker to put on his phone in case he loses it again. He's on his 3rd one this semester alone." Quincy said.
"We all wish we could've gotten them gifts, but there's always next year." Mal said. "So let's just sleep and hopefully, things with the weather will turn out alright."
"You got a point. No use dreading this now." Jay said then turns into his sleeping bag. "Night!"
"Sweet dreams." Evie said as she's also turning in.
"See you in the morning." Carlos said.
The rest follows suit and one by one, their sleepy eyes finally shut closed.
Christmas Morning 8am
With the feeling of warmth embraced around them, the VKs started to awake from their slumber and are met with happy, excited ruckus. They all sit up rubbing their eyes, scratching their heads and blink their eyes until their vision is clear. They all look to see their schoolmates having unopened presents and either stares, tries out or play with their new stuff. As the VKs examined the room around them, there was a lot more presents than they should've been. Even Fairy Godmother was going ga-ga over her new periwinkle outfit.
"Wha…." Carlos started to say and he and the other VKs stood up on their feet.
"What's going on?" Freddie asked.
Lonnie came over to Freddie and gives her a hug. Confused, Freddie reluctantly hugged her back. As they broke away from each other, Lonnie hold out a video game called Just Bop with a smile on her face.
"Freddie, thank you so much!" Lonnie said.
"Thank you?" Freddie repeated.
"Yes, for Just Bop. I know I said I wanted it, but I didn't think you would get it for me. You didn't have to do this, but thank you so much!" Lonnie squealed before running off.
"What…?" Freddie said.
"Freddie, I didn't know you got Lonnie a present." Mal said.
"Yeah, and we were all talking about coming here empty handed." Quincy said.
"Except I am empty-handed. I don't know why she thought I got it for her." Freddie explained.
"That's funny." Evie said. "I wonder why.."
"Jay!" Audrey said coming up towards Jay. "I can't believe you!"
Stunned, Jay was almost nervous to reply, but he still replies, "What did I do?"
"Don't act all innocent, you name's written all over it!" Audrey said.
Before Jay could say more, Audrey brought out a perfume in a pink bottle with the words Nature's Scent on the front. "You think that if you gotten me this, I'd be fallen for you?" Audrey then blushes. "Well, it won't work, but I can't look away a gift, especially the one I've been wanting for a while now."
"Audrey, I d…"
"Save it. I'll make sure I put this to good use, but don't think for a second this means I'll be putty in your hands. I ain't falling for your charms. Hmm." Audrey said turning her nose and walks away.
"Jay, the ladies man, everyone!" Carlos said smirking at him with his arm over his shoulders.
"Believe me, I wish I take credit for it, but I can't cause I did get that for her." Jay said.
"Ok, this is getting strange." Quincy said. "Didn't you say you wanted to get that perfume for her?"
"Yeah, but except that wasn't from me." Jay said.
"Hey, Quincy!" Chad said coming up to them.
"Wassup?" Quincy said.
"Do you really think I need this?" Chad said holding out what looks like a tracker.
"Of course you do, you keep on losing your phone almost every time." Quincy said.
"I don't lose it every time." Chad said chuckled.
"Where is it now?" Quincy asked with an arched eyebrow.
Chad feels his pockets, but he didn't feel that familiar shape. He then starts to panick. "Oh man, I can't lose that phone again. My dad is going to kill me."
Quincy then smiles and pulls out Chad's phone from his pocket. "You dropped left it at the Throne Room last night. I happened to walk by it when I was getting more hot chocolate after the party started back up."
"Guess I can call you a life saver. And I suppose I should thank you for the tracker." Chad said.
"Me? I got you that?" Quincy said.
"Why you surprised? You're the one who wrote your name on the tag." Chad said.
"What?" Quincy said.
Chad shows Quincy a red present box with black ribbons on it and a tag with the words To: Chad, From: Quincy inside it.
"So thanks." Chad said hugging Quincy with his left arm before quickly letting go and tries to figure out how to work the tracker.
"That was not my handwriting and I definitely didn't give Chad that gift." Quincy said.
Soon after, Aziz and Herkie came thanking Jay for the gift he supposedly got them, same with Doug thanking Evie, Jane hugged Carlos for her present, as did Jordan and Ally to Quincy. Dude ran up to Carlos licking his face as a sign of appreciation for his gift. And Ben gave Mal a kiss for his gift. Puzzled with what's happening, the VKs try to figure out who's been giving their friends/boyfriends/girlfriends presents in their name.
"I don't get it. Who's doing this?" Mal said.
"And how does this person know what we would want to give them?" Quincy added.
When Quincy rested his hand on the floor, he feels something and turns around to see an envelope under his hand. A green envelope with the words To the kids of the Isle written on the front.
"Guys!" Quincy said. "Look!" He raised the envelope to them.
Their eyes went wide with shock and they told him, "Open it!". Quincy does what he's been told and a letter is what's inside. Quincy pulls it out and he reads the letter out loud.
"Dear Villain Kids, so glad to see you're finally off the Isle of the Lost. I know you haven't been able to know and celebrate Christmas like everyone else, but now that you are out, I can finally be able to get you gifts that you've been wanting and gifts that you want to give to your friends. After today, now you know what Christmas is all about and you take what you learn to be more prepared for next year. They'll be a lot more christmases in your future, believe it. P.S., no matter where you come from, you're good kids and if you keep doing what you do, you'll forever be on my nice list. Signed S.C."
The VKs' expressions were a mix of shocked, confusion and stunned.
"S.C.?" Evie said.
"Wait, you don't think…." Quincy said.
They all looked at the top of the fireplace and sees a Santa Claus figurine. They looked at a each other as if they are thinking the same thought they have. Quincy then noticed a another note at the bottom of the letter and reads that out loud for the others.
"P.S., I noticed you're snowed-in situation, so you're welcome and I hope your friends make it home safely."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Jay asked.
Doug comes in from outside with glee spreading on his face. "Everyone, the roads are cleared!"
"What? Huh? Really?" The students said.
"OMG, we can go home!" Audrey said excitedly.
"Our phones are working too!" Aziz said and sees the texts from his parents. "Woah, my folks have been texting me all night."
"My mom's been blasting my phone." Chad said. "I should probably call her back."
"Everyone, now that the roads are clear, the power's back on and that phones seems to be working, I urge you all to call your parents and/or guardians and have them pick you up. Want to be home to open your parents, don't ya?" Fairy Godmother said. "And as for the presents we got from you-know-who…" she winked at the kids. "Be sure to take them with you and clean up all the wrapping paper and toss them in the trash."
The kids have all done what them need to do and how. With the anticipation of finally going home to their families, everyone works around the clock to be prepared to be picked up to enjoy Christmas Day. With all said and done, The VKs all sat around wondering what they should do for the holidays with school still technically being out. Ben however comes by and has this to say.
"So I called over and some of my staff is gonna be here to keep an eye on things at the school with Fairy Godmother's approval while you can't go back home for reasons. And I'll even be here to keep you company. My chef can cook, so you'll be well feed." Ben said.
"Thank you Ben!" Mal said hugging him. "That means a lot!" She stares at him with her doting green eyes.
"I know this is my first one, but this is the best Christmas ever!" Quincy said.
"I think this is my favorite Christmas ever!" Jordan said coming up to Quincy's side.
"It's the most merrier of all merrier Christmas!" Ally said.
"It sure is." Herkie said, though he was mostly looking at Ally and blushed.
Quincy and Jordan noticed and looked at each other with knowing grins. They, the rest of the VKs and the other AK friends come together hand in hand. They all looked at each other with smiles so strong, they can last forever. Finally in unison, they raised their held hands up high and shout at the top of their lungs….
"MERRRY CHRISTMAS!"
In the sky above Auradon, bells are ringing high in the atmosphere and a what looked like 9 reindeer with one up at the front guiding them with what appears to be a red glowing nose. Behind them is a red sleigh and not only that, but also a man in a bigger size wearing a red suit, red hat, a white beard with rosy red cheeks holding onto the reigns that connects him to the flying reindeer. He looks down below them at Auradon Prep even though it looks so small to him from his point of view and smiles. That man was none other than Santa Claus.
"Now that you're all out, I don't have to worry about that nasty barrier getting in my way of sharing joy to you wonderful kids. And maybe hopefully, they'll be more of you next year. Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!" He said.
Author's Note: I hope you all enjoyed it! Again, I apologize for posting this so late, but at least now it's out there and I can finally get this weight off my chest. For those waiting on the next one shot from Quincy's Hair Salon Hijinks, stay tuned cause it's coming out pretty soon, so be on the look out. Hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year and don't forget, Have a Wicked Day!
